"my mistake, greengrass," pansy says in mock sweetness. of course the one time pansy had chosen to be their selfless and benevolent mediator ( or rather, a nosy friend tired of the duo's utter lack of brain cells and deduction skills ), she was accused of trying to sabotage her ex-boyfriend's new relationship. it was a low blow, and while she didn't care about draco like that anymore, it stung coming from her closest girl friend. not to mention that pansy had every right to berate the girl for not even giving her the courtesy and asking pansy if she'd be okay with it. draco wasn't pansy's, but the integrity of girl code still meant something to her. "i was just trying to knock some sense into your dense little brain. i didn't realize it was so full of shit that you wouldn't comprehend that i was just trying to help." pansy scoffs, turning her nose up in aristocratic distaste. A soft chuckle escape her throat as she listen to him speak, a smile resting upon her features still. ❝You certainly seem to be a bit more muggle than you let on but it's understandable, you were raised around muggles. Hard not to pick up on their habits but you know, I think it makes this places more magical than growing up knowing about it.❞ Daphne voiced candidly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Although if she was being honest then she wouldn't really know how muggle life worked, being raised to believe in pureblood beliefs meant she was raised to believe they were below them. Harry was definitely starting to become a little more...what was the term? Comfortable? Maybe even open with her. Not that he could tell her everything to begin with, being the boy who lived....that meant he had to hide certain things.

Harry smiled at the woman when she said there was no sneaking out, "Well, I mostly meant so we wouldn't get detention, or worse- y'know?" he shrugged for a moment before smiling "Not that I'm ashamed of what people might think.."

They were fighting, which lately seemed like it wasn't anything new for them. Only this time it seemed like all the fights were blurring together, so Theo really couldn't say what they were fighting about right now. All he knew was that they were fighting over a lot of bullshit, which if he was being honest then he was just completely over it. He didn't understand why for what seemed like a long time when in reality it's only been maybe months, possibly a year of her acting like he broke her heart and acted like anyone he went out with or flirted with had taken something from her ❪ in better words, she was acting jealous and he didn't understand why ❫. When neither of that happened for all he could recall, definitely not intentionally if it did. And if that's the case then he was sincerely waiting for Eva to leave him, to run back to that boy she's been cozying up with for weeks now ❪ but he was jealous too when he had no right to be ❫. The boy Anastasia had tried to reassure him meant nothing, that he was being a clueless idiot. That they both were being clueless idiots but Theo had only glared at his twin and told her politely that he wasn't being an idiot, he knew what he saw so Anya left it alone.

Okay maybe Nott did have some idea what the fight was about, not that it mattered anymore because it was to the point where the Slytherin had remarked that maybe their friendship was at its end because he was sincerely over fighting with her over bullshit on repeat. That he was leaving and she'd sincerely never see him again. But before Theo could go anywhere, Eva stopped him and that only caused more fighting. Last thing he had spoken before his world was spinning because of the Gryffindor was give him one good damn reason to why. And bloody fucking hell, did she ever just catch him so off guard that it seemed like he couldn't breathe. ❝W-what the actual fuck..❞ The male breathed out ❪ not the best reaction to the confession and he's so going to freak out over it later but right now he's too busy dissecting her words to dissect his own ❫, turquoise hues staring at her. Yet at the Slytherin's next words, Theodore was tempted to bail on him and let him suffer the cold harsh reality that was waiting for him alone because Malfoy was too bloody stubborn for his own good. Instead Theo pushed Draco up against the closest wall and got into his face. ❝Bloody fuckin' hell mate, will you shut the fuck up? You do realize, I could fucking ruin it all for you right now, say fuck you and your family. All I have to do is talk to the right person and you'd be in Azkaban before you even realize that I betrayed you. Yet I'm risking a lot to help your ass out because I'm fucking loyal to my best friend, who rather just push me away than to accept it. Which for your information I don't have to do that killing, I can leave it up to you but helping you find a way to succeed, I could do that. But fine, I'll fuck off and leave it alone if you bloody want. Just don't expect me to pity you when you fail. But I can guarantee you Malfoy, what he wants in the end is Dumbledore dead cause he knows he can't do it himself.❞

draco glares at theo with as much sharp irritation as his bloodshot eyes could muster. it was clear to him that theo didn't get it, more so when he shares how he'd prefer the dark lord drop dead. draco wishes he could say sentiments like that freely, and the jealousy has his temper bubbling over. "i have to be! i need to kill him, or the dark lord's going to kill me — my family, and i can't—" draco cuts himself off, his hands shaking. the pressure of his mission weighed heavily on him, and he shoves his fists into his pockets to avoid theo's observant eyes. "you can't help me, nott. get that into your thick skull. it has to be me. that's what he wants, and you interfering isn't going to help anyone. so fuck off and leave it alone."
