il capitano is a man who was once human, but made into a humanoid monster by mistake thanks to a man who was influenced by rhinedottir; the tsaritsa would later find and recruit him into the fatui harbingers, where he would be trained and soon develop himself as being more than a monster clutching an abandoned home.

my portrayal of capitano is also aromantic, but i’m also not opposed to him tolerating attempts to flirt or seduce him. “tolerance” might be the second biggest honor you’d have with him, with the top one being respect.

he also has some orange and blue morality when it comes to viewing people. they tend to be sorted under “prey” and “predator”, with prey often not being given much thought, and predators thought of as a potential challenge. it’s kind of weird to explain.

lacking a vision. celestia themselves turned their eyes away from him in horror, and so he was never blessed with a vision. however, to compensate...

several delusions. despite not being the perfect human, he is, essentially, more than human. while a human’s lifespan would drain rapidly with only one delusion, il capitano is able to wield several of them.

an eye here, an eye there. il capitano is able to place human eyes on his body, causing the organ to regain functionality. he typically reserves this for victims. the only matching pair? those of his own body.

monstrosity. in addition to his various eyes, il capitano has large sharp teeth, black saliva, and a large prehensile tongue.

a strange charisma? it’s unknown how members of the fatui are drawn to this man, but there are some who seem perfectly content to help il capitano in whatever way they can. even il capitano doesn’t know why this happens, but then, he tolerates them.

the wisdom of an advisor. having been the advisor to his older brother and king, before somewhat becoming one to the tsaritsa, pierro is a man who understands the world of teyvat very well, and knows best how to approach a situation. those that fail have merely been interfered with.

the control of a director. patience and detail are both required to weave a tapestry, and the tsaritsa’s design is a fine one indeed. it is he who draws the lines across the nations for the fatui to roam to, even to the ends of teyvat.

claymore mastery. one would be wise not to presume that he isn’t able to fight. he is leader first and a servant of the tsaritsa second, but a warrior was something that had to be trained into.

cryo vision. although he did not use a delusion, his ambition didn’t give him a vision until the tsaritsa took him under his wing. at that point, he believed it was a sign that his allegiance was true.

i’m not a big fan about how her story panned out, but i’m not going to rehaul the entire story based on that dissatisfaction ( yeah, considering me, that’s kinda shocking ). instead, i’m going to make tweaks to her personality and do a bit of theoryworking regarding her history and backstory based on interpretations of her voicelines and appearance.

kokomi is the latest in a lineage of very powerful bathysmal vishaps known as dragonheirs. most specifically, she is known as “delphi”, and has the ability to prophesize to a certain extent. namely, she knows that certain things will happen, but not the context needed to become a full-fledged prophetess.

she will also become the dragon of water, something that she was able to prophesize but did not want to reveal in case the people of sangonomiya turned against her.

her books are prophecies that she has made, although she doesn’t know when or how they will come to pass. since some of them passed off as decent tips, she passed them off as such.

the eighth of the fatui harbingers, the crimson witch of flames, it can be hard to believe that la signora was created for the sole purpose of the tsaritsa’s evil. however, like every flame has a source, so the witch has an origin ---- as well as a reason that her flame became an inferno so deadly, the fatui had to give her a cryo delusion in order to seal it away.

la signora is mean. mean! playing mean muses isn’t my biggest forte, so you might see me apologizing for how awful she is constantly while i get used to how terrible she is.

for any post-inazuma archon quest interactions, i’ll treat it as if signora got away with grievous injuries and had to be nursed back to health by the members of the fatui ( unless we plot otherwise! ).

my interpretation of signora has a crush on the tsaritsa but doesn’t actually recognize her feelings for what they are; she’ll kinda just look at you like you grew a second head if you bring this up, and get snappy if you persist.

cryo delusion. when fire threatens to consume you, you seal it away with ice. that is how the fatui were able to tame the flames that overflowed from the crimson witch, allowing her to stabilize and join the fatui harbingers.

this portrayal of aether is primarily based on the abyss sibling! however, like lumine, he does have a verse that is a direct reversal of this role ( traveler aether, with abyss princess lumine instead ).

in traveler verse, though, it’s clear that it’s mostly because of his position in the situation that he hasn’t become the abyss twin, rather than a difference in personality. he isn’t as easygoing as lumine even as a traveler, being more emotional and intolerant of perceived injustices.
