this post was originally written as ‘stop thinking and be’ and was posted in november but has now been deleted. when i first made the original writing, i posted it even though i felt as if it wasn’t up to my standards. after a long month and revision of my account, i have decided to rewrite it.

to fully understand the meaning of ‘stop thinking and just be’, you must understand that the current position you’re in is a state. just like the person you want to be. now you might be asking “but zarina, how do i just be?” change your state and persist in it. well now you might ask “zarina, what is a state?” well in simple terms, a state is your mindset. a reflection of your dominant and repetitive thoughts. if your thoughts are of how you’re poor, ugly, and stupid then that will reflect back into your reality. this is because imagination creates reality. the undesirable is just a state. if you change your state to one where your desires are already fulfilled, then your subconscious mind will reflect that.

how do you change a state? you change a state by changing your dominant thoughts. first, examine your dominant thoughts. are you thinking in your favor most of the time? you must think as the person who has your desires. you have to feel that you are now. “the name is i am, not i will be” (edward art). it all starts on the inside before it can reflect outwards. the more you choose to dwell in the state of what you desire, the more natural being in that state becomes.

the reason why some people tend to struggle with manifesting is because they flip-flop between states. if you affirm once but then immediately go back to reacting to the outerworld, then that’s the state that will manifest. persisting isn’t affirming once then asking where your desire is. persisting isn’t affirming then asking how you will get it. persisting is choosing to be the person who has what you desire without wavering or going back to the old story. if you have a negative thought, correct it. if you find yourself asking where your desire is, claim that you have it in the moment. continually choose to be the person who has all your desires.

claim that you have whatever you want in this present moment. not tomorrow, not next week, not next year, in this very moment, it’s yours as long as you decide it is. if you persist in your desires, there’s no way it won’t reflect in your reality.

you have to give it to yourself before you can receive it. everything always starts with you. you can’t expect someone else to make you a priority if you don’t make yourself one. make time for yourself and enjoy it. establish boundaries, learn to say no, protect your time and energy. dedicate time for yourself and things you love. invest in your own growth. learn new skills, cultivate hobbies, and focus on things that interest you. look out for yourself, don’t allow someone who’s not treating you well into your life. value and make time for yourself and your life, it’s your life.

i recently had an epiphany. i would constantly affirm that i received princess treatment, but would feel guilty about people spending their money on me. this cycle went on for months, until i realized that i deserve that treatment. i deserve to have things paid for and to be treated amazingly by everyone around me. this leads me to my next point: see yourself as royalty. know that you deserve to be treated like a princess by yourself and others around you. ‘how do you want someone to treat you good, then when it happens, you act confused or ask what you did to deserve that treatment’ (thewizardliz). if you buy yourself flowers, would you accept someone who didn’t? if you inwardly know that you deserve that treatment you will not accept less than.
