is it possible to face medical complications from enduring an excessive amount of excitement? you’re sure you’re about to find out.

because oscar, your oscar, has just won his first formula one grand prix, and your heart is fit to burst with pride. so many years of hard work, long nights and early mornings, and determination have finally paid off. on top of that, you’re lucky enough to be there to finally witness the fruits of his labour.

when he clambers out of the car, face still obscured by his racing helmet, you can picture the beaming smile hidden beneath, brighter than the sun currently beaming down onto the racetrack.

along with the rest of his team, you’ve rushed over to the pitlane, secured a spot front and centre to bear witness to his adrenaline fuelled celebration, his fist pumping the air with a vigour you’ve never seen him possess.

despite the chaos going on around him, oscar’s eyes instantly dart to you, somehow able to pinpoint you in the crowd of people shouting his name and whooping.

he wastes no time.

within seconds, oscar is right in front of you, tugging his helmet and balaclava from his head before pulling you into a tight hug. you’re babbling, spewing a jumbled speech littered with praise and congratulations, yet oscar looks at you like you’re reciting poetry.

perhaps it’s the excitement, or the camera inches away from his face, but when oscar leans in to press a celebratory kiss to your lips, he misses. instead of lips meeting, his nose bumps your own, the movement clumsy yet endearing.

the both of you groan, and all oscar can do is laugh. of course his first race win would be eclipsed by his inability to land a kiss to his girlfriend’s lips.

lando will never let him live this down, especially not when the whole ordeal has been caught on camera; oscar just thanks god that his overtaking today was far smoother than his attempt to initiate a kiss.

he’s rushed off quickly after for his post race interview and podium ceremony, and through his hazy cloud of excitement, you’re still at the forefront of his mind.

so yeah, he may have fumbled this celebration, but god, will he make it up to you later.

his gaze is deep and soft. often, his eyes crinkle at the corners, a small price to pay for the intensity of the smile directed your way.

jack is never one to shy away from what he wants, and so he takes every opportunity to look his love, and you, straight in the eyes.

eddie huffs out a laugh, his eyes rolling to show his disbelief as his fingers trail along the bare skin of your arm, leaving goosebumps in their wake.

"it's not 'the moonlight', sweetheart," eddie muses, a smile curling at his pink lips. "don't get all poetic on me now. it's you."

"i'll stop the poetics if you stop the flattery," you counter, playfully poking your tongue out at him as a grin tugs at the corners of your mouth.

"not classed as flattery if it's true," eddie insists, lifting a finger to tap the tip of your nose, a gesture he always uses to add emphasis to his words.

"and it's true."

he presses a kiss to your forehead. "you," another kiss to your cheek. "are so," and the other cheek. "fuckin' pretty," the tip of your nose.

eddie gives you a cat-like grin as his brown eyes glint with mischief. his two large hands come up to cup your face, warm and calloused, though they aren't adorned with his signature silver rings. part of you misses the flash of cold they provide when they come into contact with your skin.

pleased with your face in his hands, eddie starts peppering kisses all over your face, haphazard and rapid. he doesn't quite care where they land; some catch your lips and cheekbones whilst others brush your eyelid or chin.

his only mission is to kiss as much of your face as possible, and he's succeeding with flying colours.

"eddie!" you laugh, scrunching your face up at the sensation. "that tickles!"

"oh?" eddie speaks, lips still against your skin so the words come out mumbled.

you know you've made a mistake. eddie's kisses begin to speed up, and he's laughing through them, the huffs of air not helping the ticklish sensation his kisses provide.

"eddie," you beg through laughter. "i'm calling a truce. waving a white flag, asking for mercy, whatever you wanna call it."

eddie pulls away, scrutinising you with an impish expression of faux thought.

"just one more," he decides, before melding his lips to yours tenderly.

you're both lost in silly conversation, the topic not really anything of note but interesting because you're engaging in it with quinn. it's one of those days where the weather is cold yet the sky is bright, and you can't prevent your gaze from roaming, appreciating the way that spring has transformed the city.

a soft gasp escapes your parted lips, and you go to drop quinn's hand in order to gesture towards a particularly pretty looking tree that had caught your eye.

just as your grip loosens a fraction, quinn's fingers link further with you own in an effort to keep your hand in his. you turn to him, half-hearted complaint ready on your tongue, when he lifts your hand up to his face. his lips brush against your fingers and the hair dusting his chin tickles the back of your hand.

quinn presses a brief kiss to your knuckles, momentarily alighting your skin with a flash of warmth, before he frees your hand from his grip, giving it one last squeeze as he does so.

his lips pull up into a crooked smile as he wraps an arm around your waist, wanting to maintain some form of contact with you however he can.

in all of your years of living, you had never really prided yourself on being a cautious or deliberate person. no, your brain seemed to thrive on impulsivity, favouring the 'do now, and face the consequences later' approach to life, disregarding the amount of worry it would cause you mere moments later.

and around remus, things only got ten times worse. because on top of your brain's tendency to ignore impulse control, you had an inability to think straight around the man you'd been seeing for the past few weeks, a combination that you were sure would soon prove deadly.

it was only a matter of time, really.

the sun was lightly filtering through the large window of your living room, casting a glow onto remus' side profile that caught the silvery scars adorning his face, the thin lines rippling like lightening across the expanse of his skin.

his hair was a little messy, stray locks poking up from where he had made himself comfortable against a few pillows on your sofa, and his long, slender fingers manipulated the tv remote in a desperate hunt for some half decent form of entertainment.

the moment that remus turned to look at you, his lips parted in preparation to speak, you closed the small gap between you, leaned forward, and pressed your lips to his.

and maybe it wouldn't have been too bad, if not for one glaring detail: this was the first time you had ever kissed remus.

well, that, and the fact that remus had frozen, mouth not moving an inch against yours as he short-circuited at the sensation of your soft, warm lips against his own.

after a second or two, though, his mind snapped back into action as he registered what was happening, and the fact that, oh shit, he wasn't kissing you back.

swiftly, remus lifted a hand to cup your cheek, thumb brushing lightly against the top of your cheekbone as he relaxed into the kiss, not wanting to let you think for any longer that he craved anything else but your lips to remain on his for as long as you'd let them.

ᡣ𐭩 this was a no brainer to me ! i just think yours n cole's energies would just bounce off of each other's so well , and you two can be heard laughing from about a mile off whenever you're together

ᡣ𐭩 the two of you can communicate without having to speak to each other — from just one look or facial expression alone you know exactly what the other person is thinking without them even having to say it . you reckon you could probably have an entire conversation without speaking a single world

ᡣ𐭩 teases you constantly about anything and everything . he always has that big , toothy grin on his face as he does it , which makes it impossible for you to even get annoyed at him for it !!!

this seemed so so obvious to me i can't lie , i just think you and lando would work so so well together !

ᡣ𐭩 you two definitely bond over your love for gaming !! lando loves that you two can spend time playing games together and tease each other over who wins or loses — it definitely gets very , very competitive between the two of you . he even tries to get you to come on stream with him some time so you guys can play something together for the fans !!

ᡣ𐭩 has so many photos of you on his phone it’s actually impressive !! he just loves taking pictures of / with you , whether they’re cute little selfies or candids on dates , or the silliest photos of you half asleep or unprepared for the camera . you also make so , so many appearances on his jpg account omg

ᡣ𐭩 texts you 24/7 , no matter where in the world he is . timezones mean absolutely nothing to lando : it can be 4am where you are and 10pm for him and he’s texting you like you’re going to respond . also is so quick to pick up on your emoji use and starts unintentionally copying it , thanks to how often he texts you !!

ᡣ𐭩 lando is an absolute menace around you , but for all of the right reasons ! you just make him so impossibly giddy and happy that he can’t help but be all laughs and jokes , constantly poking your cheek with a teasing grin or peppering kisses to the top of your head even when you complain that it tickles you . he’s just so hopelessly in love he can’t help it !!!

ᡣ𐭩 logan always loves whenever you're in the paddock with lando , cause it means he gets to see his best friend ! you're always so supportive of him , and wish him luck before every race , so knowing he has someone rooting for him really adds another level of motivation every single time he gets into the car

ᡣ𐭩 to add from that , he's constantly putting his williams cap onto your head , not caring when you complain that it's messing up your hair or that he's being a pest - he just gives you a big , cheesy grin and says you have to show your support for him somehow , since you're standing all the way in the mclaren garage to cheer on lando

ᡣ𐭩 logan comes to you whenever he has a problem or just needs someone to talk to when things seem too much . he loves how compassionate and thoughtful you are , and he trusts that you can make him feel better and ease any of his anxieties without judgement or hesitation . it’s what he values most about your friendship !!
