⭐️ I need to rant about Poto for a minute.

Christine Daae is not a child. She is not a teenager. She is a young adult, in her twenties. The 2004 movie is a weird outlier, it is literally the only version where she is a child, where she's 16 years old. In every other adaption, she is in her 20s. In the ALW musical she is in her 20s. In the book she's implied to be around the same age as Raoul who we're told is 21 years old, meaning Christine is probably about 21 or 22, given she also studied opera for four years at the Paris Conservatoire. There is an age gap between Erik and Christine in the book and most other adaptions yes, Christine is naive yes, but she is an adult. Stop taking away from Erik's character by making him gross like that, theres plenty of other morally reprehensible things he did across adaptations lol.
