흑계경호에 들어오기 전에는 본인 아버지가 운영하던 대기업에서 거래처 접대업무를 맡던 청년이었는데, 아버지의 애인사정이 정상적이지 않았어서 친모를 포함해서 엄마가 7명이나 있었어요. 아버지가 첩을 여섯이나 들여서 엄마는 물론이요 동생이 수십명씩 있으니, 장남으로써의 스트레스를 많이 받았습니다. 어릴 때부터 '수많은 가족' 과 '수많은 사람'을 대하는 것에 노출되다보니, 자연스럽게 익숙해진거죠.

지난 얘기들 #3

주말 아침에 텀블에 글 쓰는 행위를 한 게 얼마만인지.. ㅎㅎ 습관의 힘이란 얼마�� 대단한 건지.. 새벽에 일찍 일어나는 습관은 제 삶의 패턴에 완전히 정착되어 알람이 없이도 잘 일어납니다. 평일이든 주말이든 마찬가지로요.

글쓰기도 습관이 되면 중독이 된 듯 일단 화면을 펼쳐 놓고 보게 돼요. 하지만 그 습관이 멈춰 서서 한동안 지나다 보면 다시 그 습관을 만드는데 꽤 시간이 걸리게 되죠. 다시 시작해 보는 글쓰기는 어떤 패턴이 될지 스스로도 궁금합니다. 6개월 정도 온라인 글쓰기를 멈췄던게 최근 10년 안에 처음 아니던가요.

읽었던 책 정리를 오늘은 마쳐보려고요. 업무 제외한 영역에서 접했던 책들이니 그동안 이런 걸 읽고 들었구나 살짝 엿보시는 느낌으로 보고 넘어가심 될 듯.

밀리의 서재 오디오북이라고 해서 종이책으로 출간되지 않은 것이 아니어서 어제 소개드린 "이상한 과자가게 전천당"도 종이책은 물론이고 애니메이션까지 있는 모양이더라구요. 상대적으로 맘껏 소개해도 될 거 같아요.

읽었던 도서 리스트 - 로봇의 지배 (마틴 포드) : ChatGPT와 인공지능에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 일반인공지능이 탑재된 로봇이 존재하는 세계는 스카이넷이 지배하는 세상이 될지 유토피아가 될지 궁금해서 미래학자의 저서를 찾아 읽어 본 책. 읽고 난 후 제 결론은 비관주의 쪽이었어요. 일상생활에서 많은 부분 인공지능의 수혜를 누리게 되겠지만, 국가적 차원에서 광범위한 관리 감독이 이뤄지지 않는 한 인간의 욕망에 의해 악용/오용/남용될 수 밖에 없을 것 같아요. 또한 국가라는 존재 자체가 선하고 윤리적인 존재가 아니기에, 게다가 인공지능의 선두주자가 중국이라는 점은 AI의 미래, 인류의 미래를 더 부정적인 방향으로 보게 만든다고 생각해요. 이미 인공지능을 활용한 신장 위구르 지역의 관리 통제 시스템은 놀라운 수준에 이르렀다고 합니다. 이 책에서는 성산업에 관련한 로봇의 미래에 대해서는 일절 언급이 없지만 제 나름대로의 추론은 가능했어요. 제가 꿈꾸는 수준은 제 취향이 맞춰 저를 지배하며 지치지 않고 희롱해 주는 마스터 로봇인데요. 언어적, 정신적 희롱과 지배는 비교적 수월하게 높은 만족도를 느낄 수준으로 개발이 되겠지만, 물리적인 부분의 발전이 빠르지 않더군요. 현재 가정용 서비스 로봇이 나타나지 않는 이유도 인간의 정교한 손의 움직임 = dexterity의 구현이 지난하다는 것이었어요. 냉장고 문을 열고 맥주 한 캔을 꺼내기 위해 필요한 판단과 동작이 현재 기술수준으로는 비용대비 효과가 처참하다는 것이죠. 마찬가지로 섹스봇 역시 저를 주인으로서 지배하려면 섬세한 손동작으로 로프를 매고 몸 곳곳의 성감대를 애무하는 스킬이 필요할텐데.. 갈길이 멀다는 생각에 한숨이... ㅠㅠ - 청년주부 구운몽 (강선우) : 서울대 로스쿨에 진학했지만 연극 배우의 꿈을 꾸며 대학로 극단을 전전하는 다소 소심한 성격의 주인공 구운몽. 친누나 재영와 누나의 소꿉친구 강서와 함께 초록대문집 한 지붕 아래 동거하게 되며 생긴 일상의 에피소드 ���심으로 풀어낸 소설. 여자 둘이 살며 엉망이었던 집안을 운몽이 들어오며 말끔하게 만들고 점점 주부라는 역할에 심취(?)해 가는 과정이 그려집니다. 다소 전형적인 캐릭터들과 고구마 먹은 듯한 상황 설정이 중반까지 이어지지만 그런 대로 재밌게 들었던 오디오북이었어요. - 불편한 편의점 1,2 (김호연) : 밀리 오디오북 대박 작품이죠. 1편은 아마 작년에 책으로 봤던 거 같고, 1편은 오디오북으로 다시 듣고, 2편도 이어서 들었던 것 같아요. 여러 명의 성우를 써서 만든 오디오 북이어서 마치 라디오 드라마를 듣는 것같은 재미도 있었고요. 1편은 기억상실증 걸린 노숙자인 주인공이 편의점에 알바로 취업하면서 벌어지는 시트콤 같은 스토리, 2편은 주인공이 기억을 찾고 복수(?)에 성공하며 자신의 일상으로 돌아간 후 1편의 조연들이 주인공이 되어 편의점을 이어가는 얘기인데요. 훈훈한 인간미와 유머코드가 잘 배합돼 재밌게 들었던 오디오북입니다. - 하쿠다 사진관 (허태연) : 일본 소설책 제목 같지만 하쿠다 사진관은 제주도 조용한 마을 한구석 벼랑 위 이층집 건물에 있는 사진관 이름입니다. 도시에서 떠나 제주로 여행을 갔다 제주에 발이 묶여 사진관에서 일하게 된 20대 초반 여주인공의 얘기인데요. 11시간 정도 되는 길이가 아쉬울 정도로 재밌게 들었더랬어요. - 이외에도 완독하지 않고 듬성듬성 읽은 책들은 상당히 많지만 일일히 적기에 큰 의미는 없을 것 같아 요 정도로만 정리!

저는 요즘 들어 한국어가 더 이상 공부 과목처럼 느껴지지 않거든요. 이제는 제 일상이 돼요. 제가 보고 듣는 콘텐츠들은 99% 한국 콘텐츠들이어서 매번 노트에 모르는 단어를 적을 시간도 없어요 (귀찮기도....).

계속 이러면 안 될 것 같아서 이번엔 다시 시작해 보려고요...

저는 5급만 딸 줄 알았거든요? 2년 전에 공부 좀 했는데도 4급만 땄는데 이번에 준비도 잘 안 했는데 감히 6급 딸 생각도 못 했어요...!

기대 아예 안 해서 그런지 생각보다 기뻐요 ㅋㅋ.

그래도 저는요. 6급 땄다고 해도 만족은 아직 못해요. 저 점수만 보면 모두 다 90대까지 올려야겠다는 생각밖에 없어요! 더 열심히 해야겠군.... 싶다.
