I know i said id rather eat shoes than watch anything set in a high school BUT given the daring move to have two dudes from the same group star in something based on a gay comic I was curious how they'd do ( and of course always want to be supportive of the "bold queer career choices for underappreciated kpop idols" squad )

the answer is they actually did...really well EXCEPT by refusing to ever kiss or do anything remotely sexual they ended up making a show about Ace Longterm Boyfriends (fine) who hang out in swimming pools with full pajamas and socks on (insane)

man idk seeing taehyun, who lost his childhood to severe trauma and self-hatred and dayeol, who lost his childhood to burnout for something he didnt enjoy, get to act like kids in the epilogue .. so healing for me. all that missed out on joy isnt lost forever!!!! u can still find it as an adult!!!!!! its just that healing & finding yourself takes time nd thats ok bc u have TONS of time!!!!!!
