jaehyun is lying on your bed like he’s got no bones, limbs sprawled out messily, one foot hanging off the edge, hoodie sleeves bunched up around his elbows. his head is tilted just slightly, eyes following your every move like he’s watching a movie he never wants to end.

you’re not even doing anything remotely interesting—just folding laundry, fixing your hair in the mirror, humming under your breath. but to jaehyun, it’s like the whole world slowed down just to spotlight you.

“stop staring,” you murmur, without looking at him.

“can you blame me?” he says, soft and lazy, and you roll your eyes. he just smiles.

a few seconds pass. then, quietly, he reaches out a hand—fingers curling around your wrist like an invitation.

you let him pull.

you fall forward with a laugh, catching yourself just before you land fully on him, but jaehyun’s already wrapping himself around you like a vine. arms around your waist, legs hooking around yours, face buried in the crook of your neck.

“you looked too pretty,” he murmurs, voice low. “couldn’t help it.”

you let out a breathy laugh, arms bracing yourself on either side of his shoulders. “you’re so clingy.”

“mhm,” he hums. “you say that like it’s new.”

you don’t try to fight it, just melt into his arms, your nose brushing his temple as you whisper, “you’re not gonna let go, are you?”

he shakes his head, nose bumping against your neck. “never.”

after a few minutes, you try to wiggle out of his arms—but he just tightens his hold, trapping you between his legs. you groan, but immediately give in.

“you’re really annoying,” you say, but there’s no real bite to your words.

he presses a kiss to your shoulder. “you love it.”

you do.

you really, really do.

(성호) 𝖯𝖠𝖱𝖪 𝖲𝖴𝖭𝖦𝖧𝖮

you’re mid-conversation with a friend when you suddenly feel it—an arm sliding around your waist, the weight of a chin resting on your shoulder.

you turn your head, blinking—sungho? he’s not usually like this, especially not around other people. but here he is now, pressed up against you like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

“you okay?” you ask softly.

he doesn’t answer. just hums and tightens his hold on you, shooting your friend a perfectly polite smile. but there’s something smug in his eyes too—like he’s making a point.

you’re starting to piece it together when your friend finally leaves after muttering an awkward excuse. sungho lets out a quiet sigh against your neck.

“you jealous?” you tease, turning in his arms.

“maybe a little,” he says, not even trying to deny it. “i don’t know… i just saw him looking at you like he wanted your number.”

you don’t tease him for it. instead, you smile, warmth blooming in your chest as you lean into him a little more, fingers brushing where his rest on your waist.

“you could’ve just said you missed me.”

“would’ve been less effective,” he murmurs, his nose brushing your cheek as he presses a few lingering kisses along your jaw.

you don’t push him away, and he shows no intention of letting go anytime soon, paying no mind to the people around you. and for the rest of the day, he stays close—his arm brushing against yours, fingers laced through yours—like he’s not quite done being mad cute.

(리우) 𝖫𝖤𝖤 𝖱𝖨𝖶𝖮𝖮

you wake up to the scent of early morning—cool air, faint sunlight peeking through the curtains—and the feeling of something warm and heavy draped around your waist.

your first instinct is to stretch, but you can’t. you’re being held in place.

when you blink your eyes open, the sight that greets you is enough to make your heart ache in the gentlest way: riwoo, still deep asleep, face tucked into your shoulder, nose brushing your collarbone, arms locked securely around your body like you’re the only thing anchoring him to this world.

his hair’s a little messy, hoodie slightly rumpled, lips parted just barely as he breathes softly against your skin. he looks peaceful. too peaceful.

you shift ever so slightly, trying not to wake him—but even that tiny movement makes his brow twitch in protest. you pause. then try again, gently peeling the blanket back.

bad idea.

he lets out the tiniest, grumpiest noise—something between a sigh and a whine—and immediately tightens his arms around you, pulling you flush against his chest.

“riwoo,” you whisper, voice barely above a breath. “i need to get up.”

“five more minutes,” he mumbles, voice rough and muffled against your shoulder. “s’cold out there. stay warm with me.”

you huff a quiet laugh. “you’re such a baby.”

“am not,” he grumbles, still clearly half-asleep. “i just… like this.”

he says it so simply, like he’s explaining why the sky is blue. like being wrapped around you like a human blanket is the most natural thing in the world.

you glance down at him, only to find his eyes cracking open—just barely. sleep still clouds them, but the way he looks at you makes your chest tighten.

“ten minutes,” he murmurs, already nuzzling into you again. “maybe forever. just… don’t leave yet.”

you don’t answer. you just slip your arm around him in return, pressing your face into his hair and closing your eyes again.

(태산) 𝖧𝖠𝖭 𝖳𝖠𝖤𝖲𝖠𝖭

it starts when you cancel plans with taesan. just a quick text: “sorry, can’t make it today. something came up.”

you meant to follow it up, but time slips by, and you forget. you don’t notice his silence until hours later, when you’re walking up to your house and see taesan sitting on your porch—head hung low, hoodie sleeves pulled over his hands. his head lifts the moment he hears you call out his name.

“hey,” he says, but his voice is quieter than usual, a little hesitant.

“taesan? what are you doing here?”

he shrugs. “wanted to see you. you didn’t answer.”

you blink. “oh—i… i forgot. i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to worry you—”

he doesn’t say anything. just takes a step forward and wraps his arms around your waist, like it’s the only way to make sure you’re not mad at him. you try to laugh it off, not used to his clinginess, but he doesn’t budge. instead, he tucks his cold nose against your neck, like he’s trying to soak in all your warmth.

“i missed you today,” he mumbles, his breath tickling your collarbone.

you pull him inside, and he doesn’t let go—not even for a second. not when you’re unlocking the door, not while you’re kicking off your shoes. you end up half-walking to the couch with him still glued to your side, arms looped tight around your waist, chin resting on your shoulder.

he melts into you entirely when you sit down, arms still locked around your middle, pulling you closer like he’s trying to make up for all the time he didn’t get to hold you today.

eventually, he murmurs, “don’t cancel on me again without telling me why.”

you press a kiss to his cheek. “i won’t.”

but you probably will, if it means you get him all cuddly like this.

(이한) 𝖪𝖨𝖬 𝖫𝖤𝖤𝖧𝖠𝖭

you’ve seen leehan tired before—after all-nighters, post-practice, sometimes when he forgets to sleep properly before a trip.

but today’s different.

he shows up at your house in the evening, hoodie zipped up, dark circles under his eyes, and a shy smile that doesn’t quite reach yet.

“hey,” he says, voice scratchy. “can i stay for a bit?”

you nod immediately, pulling him inside before he can explain or make excuses. he’s running a low fever—you realize it the second he leans into you, eyes closed, skin too warm.

you start fussing—getting him water, meds, a warm blanket, dimming the lights—and he just watches you from the bed, lips parted slightly, like he doesn’t know what to say.

“you should’ve told me,” you scold softly, kneeling beside the bed and running your fingers gently through his hair. “you didn’t have to come all the way here.”

his fingers brush against yours. “i know… i just didn’t want to bother you.”

later, when he’s tucked under your blanket, warm and drowsy, you think he’s fallen asleep.

but then you feel him shift, reaching for your arm. he tugs gently, eyes barely open.

you hesitate—only for a second. but when you slip under the blanket beside him, leehan immediately curls into you, arms winding around your waist, nose tucked into your shoulder.

“you didn’t have to take care of me,” he murmurs, “but you did.”

“you’d do the same for me,” you whisper, brushing your fingers through his hair.

“i would,” he agrees, already half-asleep, voice fading. “but i still think i’m the lucky one.”

(운학) 𝖪𝖨𝖬 𝖶𝖮𝖮𝖭𝖧𝖠𝖪

it’s late, way too late. you’re standing at the door of woonhak’s room, backpack slung over your shoulder, jacket already zipped. the room is dim, lit only by the warm glow of his desk lamp. and he’s standing there, pouting.

“you’re really leaving?”

you laugh. “yes, woonhak. it’s late.”

“but i just got you to myself,” he says, walking toward you slowly. he stops right in front of you and lets his head fall onto your shoulder, arms sliding around your waist. “we barely got to do anything.”

“you dragged me into three different board games.”

“yeah, but i wanted to cuddle.”

you roll your eyes affectionately. “you can’t make me lose five rounds of uno and then ask for cuddles.”

“yes i can,” he whispers, arms tightening around your waist like a little kid. “just stay five more minutes. please?”

“woonhak…”

he looks up at you, lip jutting out slightly. “if you leave now, i’ll miss you the whole night.”

that’s the thing about woonhak—when he wants you close, he really wants you close. he’s a flirty, playful loudmouth with everyone else, but with you? he softens. and you give into his wants every single time.

he presses his forehead against yours, like it’s the only way to make time slow down.

“please…?” he pleads, one more time.

you sigh, defeated, and drop your bag to the floor.

his whole face lights up.

“i love you,” he beams, pulling you straight into his arms and wrapping himself around you like a koala, dragging you to his bed. “just until you really have to go,” he murmurs, face buried in your shoulder—and you can feel him smiling against your skin.

you won’t leave for another hour.

┆彡 JAEHYUN [ 재현 ]

he’s literally like a puppy <\3

the second he heard / saw that someone was moving in, he was planning how to greet his new neighbor!!

calling all his friends to greet you with a small basket of goodies

and his jaw just drops when he sees you open the door, sungho has to nudge him

boy is IN LOVE

he sits on his porch all day and springs to his feet the second he sees you to talk n chat

as i said, puppy.

and his energy is just so contagious that you can’t help but be around him

and before you can realize you’re hanging out with his friends, baking pies with his mom, helping other neighbors…

because he’s *the* boy, everyone in the neighborhood knows him because he says hi to everyone and offers help

so he’ll be at your doorstep 9am sharp on a lazy sunday, dragging you by your arm, to go and help that one older lady with her garden

but you don’t complain, not only you get to hang out with him (and stare at his pretty face~) but also some fresh fruit from the lady once you’re done

┆彡 SUNGHO [ 성호 ]

to be fair he was too shy to go greet you but your cats had other plans

simba snuck out once and sungho started panicking, desperate to find him

so he came knocking at your door, panic all over his face

"oh, so that’s your cat!" you grinned and welcomed him inside and sungho saw simba playing with your cat

and obviously you start talking about them, you offer him something to drink, you take pics of them, you exchange numbers… you learn he’s literally the boy next door

and he’s so shocked when he leaves nearly at midnight, with a small pang in his heart

he uses simba as an excuse to hang out with you more <\\3

and even if he doesn’t come w him he’s like "yeah he was sleeping so i didn’t want to wake him up.. don’t tell him i visited you alone, though"

atp he’s visiting you everyday, you can just tear a wall down bc this man is basically living at your place

┆彡 TAESAN [ 태산 ]

taesan simply acknowledged you, too busy to greet you and then two moths went by so it was too late to greet you in the neighborhood…

he lived on the same floor, practically door to door so you often stumbled upon each other in the mornings while leaving

he knew you and would say hi every time you passed each other or have a small talk in the lift

but once when he invited his friends over and was making some cookies, he ran out of sugar

so he decided to do it the lazy way (and also talk to a pretty girl) and ask you if you could lend him some

and he was so so surprised when you opened the door and he heard the sounds of nirvana in the background

you started chatting about the band and then about music in general

(he didn’t even notice when his friends arrived and saw you two talking in your doorway)

and taesan left, completely forgetting about the sugar

ever since, he found himself hearing faint sound of music - and whenever he heard his favorite, he couldn’t help but go and knock at your door to talk about it

overtime you two exchanged numbers and sent each other playlist

even though he’s still fishing courage for it, he decided he’ll ask you for a date: maybe listening to music together <3

┆彡 LEEHAN [ 이한 ]

ahhh leehan my beloved 😭

donghyun wasn’t really aware that someone moved next to him… yknow, spending his time inside with his fish…

so when one morning his mom nagged him to throw the trash out and he did that in his oversized tshirt with nemo and fish boxers…

and then he heard

"nice outfit, neighbor!"

his body literally froze

he could feel blood rising to his face and he saw you, tanning on the front yard

he quickly connected the dots (especially when his mom said "you should talk to that sweet girl next door")

but he was so embarrassed that he only muttered a hi and ran back inside

and honestly, if it wasn’t for his mom inviting you over all the time… he’d never talk to you

but you stroke a conversation and never mentioned his fishy (lmao) outfit before

and donghyun gradually started opening up to you, growing more attached

he even showed you his fish!! and he runs to you everytime there’s a new member of his small family to show them off to you

(at this point you both wait excitedly for his mail)

and when you asked him to go with you to an aquarium, he thought he’ll faint on spot (and also, quite missed the fact that you asked him on a date but,,, he’s just a little clueless… ^_^)

┆彡 RIWOO [ 리우 ]

riwoo is completely normal about doughnuts right. right…?

so he was absolutely completely normal ordinary acting when in the same day he moved in, there was a cute girl welcoming him…

… and holding a box with donuts

"sorry but i didn’t know what else to grab. welcome to our neighborhood!" you grinned

he was sold.

you chatted for a while, he made you coffee n you exchanged numbers!

and only when you said goodbye, he came up with a good reason to ask you out

so the next day you got a text saying "hey, do you perhaps know good places in town with donuts? do you wanna go with me and test them?"

and obviously you agreed~~~

you obviously couldn’t go to all the places so it became a thing you did at least once a week

or whoever one of you had some left over donuts at home, you’d go visit your neighbor and chat

(by the way he’s always down for the tea like what do you mean that old hag down the hallway yelled at you!!!)

┆彡 WOONHAK [ 운학 ]

woonhak, as the youngest, was sent to invitation duty as soon as the new girl moved in next door

and the moment you opened the door, he was WHIPPED

he greeted you n gave u a basket full of sweets and offered to help you with unpacking

and before you realized he was writing down your number and promising you to show you around

there’s no dull moment with him !!!

because he’s your neighbor you often ignore the loud screams and cheers coming from his apartment

you were a little lonely and jealous of how much fun he and his friends had on daily basis :(

and woonhagi being the angel he is, decided to invite you over one day for a game night

so you met his friends (who exchanged suspicious looks when you n woonhak hugged as a greeting)

you’re basically roommates at this point, he’s always coming by n so are you

or doing sleepless nights you text him that you’ll by at his place in 5

and he already prepares snacks n board games

i wouldn’t be surprised if u exchanged ur house keys atp

you also two often meet for study dates as well

sometimes you hear him singing through your walls lmao 🥹

and whenever you compliment his talent, he’s a shy mess

Sungho (성호)

You and Sungho were sat on your shared bed, cuddled up against eachother, watching a random movie, both of you barely even paying any attention to it. "Did you know that camels can drink 200L of water in one go?" You said, eyes slowly fluttering shut. Sungho chuckled as he kissed your forehead lightly. "I did no know that, darling. Would you like to go to sleep now?" He asked, already assuming your answer. "No. I wanna stay awake." You said, leaning your head more against his broad chest. Sungho nodded as he ran his long, slender fingers through your hair, trying to get you to sleep. With the dim room and the soft sound coming from the TV added with Sungho's gentle fingers, you felt your eyes getting heavier by the second. "Goodnight, my love." You heard him whisper lovingly in your ear before drifting off to dreamland.

Riwoo (리우)

Riwoo was listing off the content on the menu to you as you stared at the said menu with furrowed eyebrows. "Babe, I have no idea what your saying." You called out to Riwoo who was still listing the weirdly named food to you. "Oh. Well.... wanna go somewhere else?" He asked, equally confused as you. You nodded as you both walked out of the store hand-in-hand, meeting the warm, bright sun. "Okay, now where do we go?" He asked, looking at you with sparkly eyes. "I don't know. You decide." As soon as you uttered those words, you regretted it immediately, watching Riwoo's lips turn into a smirk. "Well, in that case.. how about some donuts?" He asked with a cheeky smile as he pulled you gently towards the nearest Krispy Kreme in the area. You groaned as he dragged you with loud laughter.

Jaehyun (재현)

"Baby, I really won't be able to get anything down with you clinging on to me like that." You said, voice muffled against Jaehyun's covered chest. In the current moment, you were trying to get your work done but a certain someone will not leave you to it. "I missed you." He mumbled, warm breath hitting the shell of your ear making shivers run down your spine. "I'm surprised your back doesn't hurt by now." You said, gesturing to the way his back is arched down to hug you. "It does, but who cares? Also don't act like you don't like it." He said, and you just already know that he's smirking at you. Jaehyun sighed as he pulled away from the hug and looked at you with his hands on his hips. He shook his head then picked you up gently, placing you on the soft bed mattress and put his entire body weight on you. "Okay, well I guess work can wait." You said as you felt Jaehyun let out a giggle and hug you tighter.

Taesan (태산)

Taesan was sat on his studio chair, head in his palms, and an unfinished song blinking at him from the moniter. A soft knock can be heard from the door earning a quiet 'come in' from the boy in stress. "Hello." A voice he recognised so well had him immediately lift his head up. The frown that was taking place on his face was replaced with softness as soon as he saw you smiling figure step into the room. "Hey, you." He said, leaning back in his chair with. A tender smile was on his face as you stepped closer. "A little birdie told me that you were not having the best day, so I decided to take matters into my own hands." You said, gently moving away all his producing stuff and placed a bag full of food on the table. "Was that birdie perhaps called Kim Woohak?" He asked, a chuckle leaving his mouth as he watched you nod. Quietly, Taesan grabbed your waist and pulled you in between his legs, hugging your waist tightly. "I love you." He whispered so quietly you almost missed it. Somehow you always knew when Taesan, making him feel an insane amount of love for you and making him want to put you in his pocket.

Leehan (리한)

"So she said that I had no saying in the situation when SHE was the one who mentioned me in the argument that I had no connection to-" You were momentarily cut off by Leehan's soft gaze on you, especially your lips. "So? What happened next?" Leehan said, unaware of his affect on you. "Uh, so I said- can you stop looking at me like that?" You said, a red tint making its way to your cheeks. "Like what, my love?" He asked with that soothing, flirty voice of his, making you melt in the process. "You're just that beautiful, darling. I can't help but look." He flirted having you groan. He suddenly head locked you in his arms and began tickling you. "My beautiful baby." He said, relishing in your laughter that is filling the empty apartment.

Woonhak (운학)

You and Woonhak were resting on Woonhak's bed in his dorm. His arm around your shoulder and your head on his chest. While talking quietly, someone suddenly jumped in causing Woonhak to get startled in the process. "Hey, lovebirds." You heard Taesan's teasing voice call out, looking at the both of you with raised eyebrows and an amused smile. "What?" Woonhak said with a whine, tightening his arm around you, sensing your embarrassment. "Dinners ready." He said, walking out without closing the door. "Ah, hyung! Close the door." Woonhak threw a tantrum as Taesan came back and closed the door with a wink. A few moments of silence passed but were shattered with your sudden laughter. "What? Why are you laughing?" Woonhak asked, laughing along with you. "The way you jumped was hilarious." You said, hitting his torso in the process. Woonhak groaned as he hid his face in your neck. "Stop." He mumbled as you continued laughing. "Kids, come on. The food in getting cold!" You both heard Jaehyun yell, immediately shutting you both up. "Come on, lover boy. Let's eat." You said grabbing his hands and walk out the door with him having a stupid lovesick smile.
