for Renn, she wasn't sure if she'd be good enough for someone like Kai, especially since their first meeting was Kai catching Renn stealing some good ol cheese from a convenience store, and Kai spend a good while being hostile with Renn, and though they're on good terms now, and them being best buddies, Renn still has that mentality that she'll never really be good enough for anyone

that and bc Kai was interested in Skylor for a good while

Evelina's love languages are gift giving and words of affection, she loves giving her loved ones personal gifts and letters filled to the brim with compliments, during the right occasion ofc.

and one time, she was gonna take a shot at confessing to Camilo through a letter that she was gonna give him, accompanied with a small chameleon plush which she made with a lot of help from Mirabel, for his birthday. it was long, and cringe, super cringe, and Evelina being the coward she is, crumpled the piece of paper up last minute and replaced it with a small card that said "Happy Birthday, Loser"

Mad? hmmm Ena was chill about it, for the most part, though she would make horrible attempts to flirt with V, and boi would they be hard to watch as for V, prolly a lil confused or disappointed in herself at first bc it's Ena, Ena's stupid, but V does grow to be fond of Ena's silliness and would also start showing affection once she's comfortable with her feelings, in her own ways ofc
