Finally found a new Good novel. The kind that is intensely immersive that you won’t even notice you’ve been holding your breath until your body forces you to exhale

and it’s funny coz the eerie tone of the novel is a complete contrast to the lighthearted summary. Then again, I’ve made it a habit to only read the beginning of the summary, skim the middle, and skip the end to ensure I won’t get spoiled. (Chinese web novel authors just love to give everything away in the summary, and I hate that coz it reduces the enjoyment for me)

But even the title doesn’t give you any impression that this is actually a horror story: 男友是万人迷，而我是路人 (My Boyfriend is a Heartthrob, while I am just a Passerby)

I was looking for some light romance, and coupled with that kind of title and the casual tone in the summary, I thought it’d fit. My expectations were also very mid, so when the novel suddenly started grabbing me by the shoulders to bring me close to the phone, it felt like I had found gold while rummaging through the trash

So far, it has been unexpectedly good.

it’s not enough to just read the text as mere text. I feel the need to keep my eyes open and observe everything that’s happening as if I’m within the story.

God, I want this novel translated so bad. I just know I’m missing out so much by only reading the MTL

damn Megs do know how to talk, he can start a revolution for good reason. idw Megatron deserves an award for being so well written in terms of speech, instead of "and he made a good speech" the writers actually wrote so much good stuff for him. Respect.

About the translations in here, idw Megs is pretty hard to translate properly. His speech is more formal than average and his vocabulary is capital M MegaMASSIVE. Not entirely satisfied with my version so far but I tried my best.
