Have you ever eaten anything ... unusual ... dark ... twisted ... sprung from the mind of a chef determined to leave their mark on society, for better or for worse?

I have.

At least, that's what some of my friends called this meal when I posted it to my WeChat moments! XD

I give you:

黑暗料理 (hēiàn liàolǐ) – literally "dark cuisine" 😱😱

And what, you ask, was the cuisine in question? Why, none other than:

皮蛋香菜披萨 (pídàn xiāngcài pīsà) – thousand-year egg and cilantro pizza (or "century egg" and "coriander" if you prefer), fresh from the Pizza Hut at a 万达 mall!!

What do you think? Is this pizza an abomination or a stroke of genius?

We were told this was an new offering that they were seeking feedback on (read "experimental"), and as someone who enjoys both cilantro and preserved eggs, I just had to try. It was certainly an experience!

it took extortionate effort, but i've finally acquired soul eater dubbed in mandarin, and so obviously i need to experience it at least a little bit. maybe it's just the late 2000s/early 2010s dubbing, but man. i'm not sure i would call this a good dub.

Summary:

Bajie went down to earth to look for Chang'e, and then followed by Sun Wukong, Tang Monk, Sha Wujing who went down to earth to look for Bajie. During this period, a series of ridiculous stories happened. In the end, Bajie and others worked together to defeat the Six-Eared Macaque and save the Three Realms.

My tribute to the beloved D. A. Harvey Dent, the criminal mastermind Two-Face, and the amazing actor Misha Collins. This took me about 3 days to plan, search for materials, and edit. As a diehard Misha fan, this shows the anger of Harvey and Two-Face toward Lady Justice, with some materials borrow from "The Dark Knight (2008)". Hope you'll like it. Enjoy! :)
