Susumu Hirasawa’s work on Satoshi Kon’s  Masterpiece 千年女優 (Millennium Actress) is pure work of art filled with so many emotions of sorrow, trepidation and euphoria. A soundtrack that plays such a vital role in Mr. Kon’s vision weaving reality and fantasy seamlessly on a journey in search for life’s meaning of what it is to “love”. Susumu Hirasawa’s work in my opinion will be just as timeless as Mr.s Kon’s extraordinary library of work.

I urge everyone who has not watched the film to do so, then pick up the soundtrack to relive it all over again.
