飯塚市の鶴頭山千手観音

飯塚市内から県道60号を進みだ先の住宅地側です。

↓じゃなくて、

車道を少し登った場所から階段無しで行けます。

階段前にプチ渓流（水路）あり

階段を登った境内右手の小さなお堂

観音堂

左手の斜面

裏をまわって右手へ（小さなお堂）

絵馬がいっぱいの堂内

ご本尊 千手観世音菩薩

手前の扉を持ち上げながらでこれが精一杯でした。

迦楼羅王（奈良国立博物館蔵）

千手観音菩薩の侍者である二十八部衆の一尊・迦楼羅王。

日本語名「迦楼羅（かるら）」はパーリー語の「ガルーダ」が由来。

写真は京都・愛宕念仏寺(おたぎねんぶつじ)伝来の仏像で、現在は奈良国立博物館が所蔵。

13世紀前半の作で、総高61.8ｃｍ、寄木造りの玉眼入り。

持物の横笛や手首先が失われて彩色も残っていませんが、体幹は綺麗なまま当初の姿をとどめています。

鎌倉時代に彫像された迦楼羅王の作品は、京都・三十三間堂と滋賀・常楽寺のものが知られる程度で貴重な仏像の一体です。

密教で本尊とし��祭る寺院もあるほどの迦楼羅王は、インド神話に登場するビシュヌ神が乗る霊鳥の金翅鳥(こんじちょう)のことで、雨を司る仏として知られています。

龍や蛇を常食として、口からは一切の悪を焼き尽くす「迦楼羅炎」を吐き、336万里もある大きな深紅の翼を広げ空を飛び、日夜仏敵に目を光らせています。

不動明王の後ろにある炎は、この迦楼羅王そのものの姿を炎の形であらわしたものです。

インドネシアには同国のフラッグ・キャリアであるガルーダ・インドネシア航空がありますが、同社の社名とロゴマークはこの迦楼羅王（ガルーダ）が由来で、航空会社の格付けで実質最高評価（The World's 5-Star Airlines）も受けているガルーダ航空ですが、日々、乗客の安全と楽しい旅を提供できているのも、空の守護神である迦楼羅王のおかげかもしれません。

前回の続きです

ある日、ネテロ君と話してたらこの名前に辿りついた

その名前をベースに

梵字、仏教のカルチャーをサンプルした。。。。

最初なんかごちゃごちゃ考えたけどあまり思い付かず

人と話して考えだしていこうって事で

ネテロ君に相談したところ

自分の名前から連想ゲームがスタートした

そういちろうのいちろうの部分にフォーカスを当てて

日本人だから漢字使いたいよなで着地したのが

”弌老”

読みをそのままイチロウでもよかったんだけど

漢字と英語のハイブリット感が欲しくて

弌→１→イーチ→EACH

老→老いる→OLDEN

そんな感じにまとまった

ロゴも漢字がいいなってのは思っていて

どうしようかな〜と

悩んでいたタイミングで

NYに行くってことで安全祈願へ

安全祈願してもらったお寺は盛岡にあって

大日如来を本尊とする真言宗智山派の寺院

ここで安全祈願とは別に雑談で

曼荼羅（仏の世界観を絵で表したもの）についてや

守護本尊？だったかなについて話を聞いて

とても興味深かった

盛岡といえばいつもよるところがあって

紺屋町のあたりに”BOOK NERD"という本屋がある

その話を聞いた後この本と遭遇する

カバーのデザインもインパクトがあるが

中身もめちゃくちゃ面白い

仏教だけでなく様々な宗教に関する絵や記号などを

解説していく内容になっている

この本中で曼荼羅（マンダラ）

についてなど記載がありタイミング的に

すごく刺激になった

興味がある人はぜひ読んでみてほしい

曼荼羅（マンダラ）とは”絵”です

仏教の世界観伝えるための

イラストであり種類がいくつか存在している

複雑で美しい曼荼羅の中には”法曼荼羅”と

呼ばれるものが存在しており

この曼荼羅は絵ではなく文字（記号）で表現される

その中で使われているのがそう、”梵字”であります

なので梵字＝仏様を表しています

知らなかったので驚きでした

さらに仏様の中でも生まれ年によって

守護本尊というのがいるらしく自分のは

千手観音菩薩

この辺りから発想をもらって

なんだかんだ紆余曲折あり

こんな形に

デザインを作ったり、服を作ったり

そういうクリエイティブな

活動はこの名前で活動して行こうと思います✌️

コンプできるか？深すぎる篠栗霊場（14）58番

第58番札所 大久保観音堂

88番も58番もすぐそば。

歩きで近いのは第1番札所の南蔵院からで、こちらに出ます。（距離はありますが八木山峠またはJR筑前山手駅の裏から林道を通ってもこれます。車も通ります。）

古いけど大切に取ってある感じ。

ご本尊 千手観世音菩薩様

納経所は道を挟んだ民家側です。

↓ 南蔵院方面へは写真右の軽トラが停まる側にある小道を下ればよかったような記憶があります。（害虫やヘビに注意です。一部険しい場所があったような記憶もあります。）

↓ 写真奥に進むと６番札所、背後に進むと郷ノ原地区です。
