おはようございます。

僕ね、毎回ながらこの言葉に違和感を感じるんですよ。

世間一般的には

リア充＝恋人がいる または 既婚

という意味になってるみたいだけどね。

でも本当の意味は、実生活が充実してるっていう意味なんだよね。

先述した事がいつの間にか独り歩きしていって、本来の意味が忘れられてしまった。日本ってこういう事が結構あるよね。典型的なのが「情けは人の為ならず」。これも真逆の意味がさも当たり前のようになってるじゃない？

でね、何でこんなこと書いたのかと言うと、先日知り合いの女性とデートしたんですよ。別に彼女とか付き合ってるとか恋愛感情とかそんなのはないですよ。で、Instagramにハッシュタグでデートとリア充って載せたら、変なメッセージが来てね。

僕としてはその時間が楽しかったからリア充って表現を使ったんだけど、キモいだの勘違い男だのブサメンが調子に乗るなだの、ま～よくそんな言葉が出てくるねと半ば呆れ気味になりましたわ。

言葉なんて感じるのは人それぞれだと思うんだが、干渉するのは違うよね。

こういう所から中傷沙���が生まれるのかと思った次第。

さて、僕にとって憂鬱な季節の到来。後3ヶ月、難なく乗り越えていきたいものだ。

Love Live Manga vol. 1 assorted thoughts I wrote during my readthrough:

Unlike the anime, the manga on the other hand focuses more on Honoka and her goal, she's way more serious, not really a goofball at all, she's kind of an ace actually like a shounen protag, Umi is her rival and is mad when Honk goes to do her own thing, and the slight conflict with the student council is completely nonexistent. RinPana are already Honoka's friends, and most of the first conflict focuses on Umi giving away, this time because she wants to help Honoka. The emotional friendship beats worked much better for me in the anime TBH. It's just paced much better and was a much more fun watch.

Also, HonoUmi are in the kendo club together in the manga, in the anime Umi is in the archery club and Honoka idk what she does, but she's set up as everyone's friend, literally a friendly, popular リア充, and the bakery thing is there.

LOL, manga Maki is NOT a good, stick in the mud type of character. She has a rebellious spirit! Even though she pretends she's cool with it.

Hmm, Let her be a proud rich girl.

Man, I really like how kinda hotblooded the HonoUmi friendship is… They got each other's backs.

Manga!Maki is not an idol fan, she just… wanted to go to UTX I guess? lol.

Maki in the manga is looking at the idol club longingly from afar, while in the anime she's minding her own business and pestered into joining.

Nico has more goofy little devil vibes than self-absorbed tsundere vibes here.

She befriends Maki for the clout, lol, which is totally Nico behavior, but she's not showing any jealousy as she… seems to do in the anime? (I haven't watched more than ep 1 from the anime yet).

So Manga!Maki is just 100% Nico's minion…

But it's also Maki the one who gets the interiority between the two. In the anime it's Nico, right? (Spoilers, it's both).

Just like Nico to know all the popular girls in school by name. She's perfect no matter the iteration uwu.

The anime the frequent dance numbers that sometimes feel kinda random. It's really cinematic in that sense, it KNOWS it is supposed to be an idol show, and goes all out on that.

HonoUmi keeps having my favorite chemistry literally like shounen rivals!! (obsessed).

Eli is a bit… less passionate in the manga? She's letting it happen (the school closing) even if she doesn't like it. She's projecting a bit of a Nozomi aura actually. She's taking the mindset the school director forced her to have by herself in the manga… interesting.

She's REALLY chill here.

Hanayo is really interesting because in a group of extremely talented people where everyone brings something to the table, she's like the everygirl who's just there for the ride. Like… Eli KNOWS about dancing, Nico KNOWS about idol culture, Umi is the lyricist, Kotori makes the outfits, Maki composes the freaking music… Honk is the can-do shounen leader who manages them to victory and Rin is also good at dancing in a different, less "academic" way from Eli. Hanayo really is the not particularly great at anything girl who struggles even with the diet part of being an idol, let alone everything else. Why is she here? She's a fangirl.

I forgot about Nozomi, lol. IDK what she brings to the table either other than being an annoying busybody.

as a side note while thinking about adachi, one thing that always jumped out to me how be always noted that kurosawa was super popular/a “normie” (though that feels more like an awk translation)

im aware its reflective of his low self esteem, but i wonder if it was also layered ontop of his attraction to those traits of ksawa

Ok so firstly, "normie" is actually not that awkward of a translation for the word he uses, which is リア充 (riajuu). There's even an info text at the end of volume 2 to explain it.

Like, he very much uses internet slang throughout the first few volumes it's so cringe but so funny of him lmao

And secondly, idk, I kinda don't read him like that at all. I feel like if anything Kurosawa's popularity is more of a detriment to him than a point of attraction.

It's a source of self-doubt for him, when he compares himself to popular people he can't help but feel like he's failing at life. And it also separates him from Kurosawa, makes him feel like he's untouchable and far away. (Plus it could also potentially dredge up bad memories from his school days. We don't really know anything from this period but I can imagine him maybe getting bullied at some point in his life. That low self-esteem's gotta come from somewhere, yknow.)

So yea that's how I personally interpret it. I think he does come to like Kurosawa's more "normie" traits over time though, when he gets over his "inferiority comlex" through the course of their relationship.

3/12（水）せっかくの休みなのに起きたのは11時過ぎ。1日を充実させるための計画を昨日のうちから立てていたのにこの有り様。3食分のご飯まで決めてそれを楽しみに寝たのに、TVerで一挙放送中のドラマを朝からイッキ見するのを楽しみに寝たのに、夜が明けるとすべてのやる気が削がれている現象っていったいなんなんですかねーっ＞＜

面倒なので、朝に食べる予定だったお味噌汁とご飯と、お昼に食べる予定だったペヤングと、おやつに食べる予定だったポテチを全部まとめて胃に入れた。めちゃくちゃの組み合わせ。人には言わないし人前では絶対にやらないと弁えているが私は恥ずかしながら家でこういうことを普通によくやる。

焼きそば×ご飯くらいならまあ、やる人結構いると思う。い、いるよね？ （汗） 給食でもこういう炭水化物×炭水化物の謎組み合わせ献立あったし（汗）

しかしポテチを始めとするスナック菓子をおかずにご飯を食べるというのは、さすがに、かなり品がないですよね。しかも私はそれを好んでしている。ご飯×スナック菓子オンリーの食事。料理するのが面倒だからという理由も多少はあるけれど、1番は「美味しいから」だ。きゃ〜、バカ舌なのかな。

始まりは大学に入ってから。健康志向の親から開放された反動で食生活があっけなく乱れた。きっかけはわからないが恐らく時間もお金もないとある日にその組み合わせに行き着いたんだと思う。スナック菓子の油と炭水化物の組み合わせは地獄レベルで健康に悪いはずなのでやめたいやめたいやめたい。でも週1〜2のペースでやってしまう。親しい誰かにドン引きされたい。好きな人に、本気の蔑む目で注意されたい。じゃなきゃきっと永遠にやめられない。ちなみに個人的1番好きなご飯との組み合わせは、かっぱえびせん（ノーマル）です。仲間がいるのか切実に知りたい。恥を忍んでも。Tumblrって統計取れる機能とかあるのかな。

ところで、昨日のうちに立てていた計画の中に「Tumblrのユザネ（アルファベットのほう）を変える」があった。ちなみにまだできてない。

早く始めたいあまりテキトウにつくったこのユザネに含まれている数字は現実世界でも私の概念のようなものとして使っているので、リア友にバレる可能性が億分の1くらいの確率であるかもしれない。Aちゃんになら構わないがそれ以外はちょっと……厳しい、どう考えても。明日のうちには必ず。あとアイコンも変えたいな〜真っ白❕

ところで（2回目）、Tumblrよりもメインで使いこなすはずだったnoteの更新がずっと止まっている。下書きに放置されている記事のタイトルは 『べつに逆ハー好きじゃない』 ←ココだけ見るとさすがに炎上しそうで笑っちゃう。だけど私のこれまでの創作人生を語る上ではやっぱりこのタイトル以外ないので、いつか公開できたときには褒めてください。

明日は早番、めちゃくちゃ早起きだ、がんばるぞ〜。

そして明日は野菜中心の食事にするぞ（強い意志）。

What are tsukkomi/boke and riajuu? I googled them but nothing much came up; just some manga characters/powers appearing here and there.

The terms "tsukkomi ツッコミ" and "boke ボケ" come from Japanese Comedy Duo shows called "manzai 漫才". In English terms Tsukkomi is like the "straight man" while the boke is the "dimwitted/airheaded one"

Riajuu リア充 can literally just translate to a "normie" it's an otaku term used for people who live fulfilled "real life" lives and are not terminally online etc. I describe Akira in this way because of the way he has a very fulfilled friendship circle, keeps up with his studies, has enough time to sleep, and even has a multitude of part time jobs that he can do all while living his already busy life. He's put together lol

週末の走行 2024/2/15-19

Miniz-Cup-Championships-Finals

その2大会1日目編です。

大会当日がやってきてしまいした。寂しいようなワクワクするような気持ちです。本当に自分の腕前がアジアで通用するか不安です。

中部国際空港出発ロビー横のイベントホールが今回の会場です。コース隣の会議室が選手パドックエリアでした。

一般人の人通りも少なめで、素人観客の声などが気にならず集中できる環境です。電波ノーコントロールもなくていい感じ。

今回のピットスペース。いつもと違って整理整頓できてますね。予選前に焦ってゴチャゴチャするはさておき。北海道組ということもあって、最前列でした。予定通りモバイルバッテリーからの給電で追い充電類をやりきります。

最前列なのでもちろん、情報スクリーンのすぐ近くです。いろんな人がスクリーンの近くに来るので恥ずかしい。

そんなこんなしてるうちに練習走行です。（写真はミーテイング前）

うーーん。フロントのグリップ感がイマイチというかイマニです。初日の朝なので仕方ないんですけどね。この時点で2日目の決勝は、ホームコースのグリップまで上がらない勘がありました。嫌な予感って当たるんですよね。

確かフロントタイヤは22.1mmあたりで走行。それでも曲がらなくてデュアルレートは95あたり、STジャイロも25を下回ってたかな。

グリップ剤はリアだけ塗布でフロントは塗ってません。コケるのが一番嫌なので。でもこの時点でフロントも塗ってたらかなり予選順位上がってたのかも。中ストレートからのヘアピンがスピード乗りません。戦略ミスです。

後から聞いた話ですが、周りはフロントも半分～3分の1くらいグリップ剤塗ってたみたいです。こういうところで経験の差が出てきますね。10年選手がゴロゴロいる会場。恐ろしい。

練習1回が終わって予選1回目まで時間がかなりあるということで味噌煮込みうどんです。イケオジ先輩に奢ってもらいました。午後からも頑張りましょう。

うどんを食べて予選1回目。やっぱり曲がらないなぁ。タイヤは練習のときと一緒です。グリップは上がってるけど、思ったよりは上がらない。スタートは前列。スタートダッシュ決まって1番手を２周くらい走行しましたが、後ろから迫る2番手につつかれてコケて撃沈。まぁ1回目ですからね。

距離感が分かりません。ファイナルはお立ち台が地区予選より1段高いです。それに加えてコースも縦が3枚多いです。なので距離感がつかめないのに加えて、自分の車のモーター音が聞こえないので感覚がつかめません。

ファイナル10年選手のベテラン達はもう慣れっこなようですが、ファイナル初参加のぼくにはイレギュラー過ぎました。いろいろと雑音が聞こえますね。

予選2回目。結局この回が2日目も含めてベストタイムでした。後列スタートにも関わらず、1週目はスタート良い感じ、2周目で様子を伺い、3週目で勝負に出て1番手に浮上。それから良いペースを刻んだ形です。ただ、ブレーキが合いません。これは後々致命的となりました。ブレーキが合わないから減速感がつかめず、ヘアピンで明らかにミス、内側にコツン。リアのグリップが合ってない感じが明らかです。ヘアピンのクリップ5cm以上手前にぶつけるなんて普段やらないのにね。

いろんなお土産もらいました。

名古屋って色々とおいしいお菓子がたくさんありますね。ありがたい。

そんな感じで1日目は終了。併催のクラス決勝も盛り上がってました。知り合いが出てると楽しくチャチャを入れることができるので楽しい。結果は残念だったようですが、来年も頑張るようでなによりです。

1日目の表彰が終わって、関係のない我々は小反省会です。空港が会場だと大宴会がないのが寂しいですね。味噌とんかつです。おいしい。

ホテルに戻ってからは、昨日と同様に電池の管理です。電池管理しながら晩酌してたら仲間から電話が来て作戦会議などしていました。そんな上手くはいかないんですがね。1日目速報も気にかけてくれてありがたいです。とはいえ、これ以上打つ手は無いのでマンガを読んだりなど。

次回は2日目編です...。
