Prince’s Tale Finally! After leaving this for some time I’ve finally coloured Yuri. This one takes a lot of time. 😷

A character introduction for my Royalty AU. Yuri is the former crown prince, replaced by Victor when Yuri’s mother was framed and got dethroned as Queen. I am thinking of doing a fic collab with a friend to expand this series. Still battling on what pairing should I do? Vikyuu or Yuriyuu? Hi! I love your blog and consider you the unofficial captain of the Yuriyuu ship :) I’m an American and am only familiar with YOI fandom in English spaces. I think you said this ship is popular in Japan? Any tips on finding Yuriyuu content from non-English sites/SM/etc? TIA!

Oh gosh I’m so sorry this took me forever to reply to! I haven’t been feeling well lately so I had to take a break from social media sob sob. T_T 

Yes! This ship is much more popular in Japan!! I don’t know *how* popular it is in Japan per se, but compared to english speaking fandom, there is soooo much more content. 

What I pretty much do is I go to twitter and pixiv and search the Japanese name for them, which is ユリ勇 and  勇ユリ. Loooots of stuff and I actually find most of my pixiv stuff through the “Recommended” feature or whatever the heck it is.It’s basically the little link pixiv will give you when you bookmark something to other related content. 

VK also has some yuuyu contents, but I was given links to it and I have noooooo idea how to search on VK. I’m a bit hesitant to share my VK links tho because the art wasn’t posted with the proper channels if that makes sense?? lmao. Bakayuri seems to be the popular tag on VK, and the russian name for them are Юри\/Юрий. Most of the stuff on VK seems to be stolen and reposted from pixiv tho, at least from what I’ve found, which again is why I’m hesitant to share the links. :’)

If you’re looking for physical merch (there is some very cute yuuyu merch out there! Both official and fan made!), the best thing to do is to go to your favorite merch websites like mercari, yahoo auction jp, otamart, tictail, etc, and type in the character name or the show name. Unless i’m on tictail, I always use the japanese name. Personally i’m paranoid about missing things, so when I look for yuuyu merch I just type in “ユーリ!!! on ICE“ to get *everything* lmao. 

But you can either search for “ ユーリ・プリセツキー” for Yuri centric results, and either “勝生 勇利 “ or “ 勇利“ for Yuuri centric results. If you are on tictail you can just use English names. 

I can’t really help for finding DJ since I don’t really buy DJ. :( My japanese is too poor to read them lmao.
