trying to guess his job becomes kind of a game for her. every time they go out into the city for the shooting lessons or just to hang out she has a different guess. she never gets it right, though.

pleaseee let pat buy him a suit, like one of those really good bespoke ones that costs more than everything i own combined. maybe it's when he comes to visit her in mexico, and she's taking him to some fancy place she goes to a lot and there might be a dress code, and pat might actually murder him if he decides to show up in casual clothes. no disrespect to his hoodies i love them.

they're the kind of friends that drag each other down on accident sometimes. like, chishiya's lack of direction and meaning in life, coupled with pat feeling very aimless as well post-borderlands and post-husband murder. when they're both having a bad day, they can easily get into "life sucks" "yeah it really does i hate mine too" talks instead of uplifting each other. not that they can't ever offer emotional support, but it does happen at times.

so as i was searching for pictures of the actress who plays ann (i got lost in it for over an hour because that woman is fine af), i noticed a lot of patcore elements in her style. like some of her jewelry, fancy sunglasses, gorgeous coats, etc. and i know ann doesn't necessarily dress like that but it got me thinking pat should really buy her a few gifts like that sometimes (or just take them and give them to her, in the case of the borderlands). gifts are definitely a way for her to show love/affection.

if there's an option to form pairs or a group for a game, pat likes to go with ann. she just thinks she's efficient and calm enough to finish the game smoothly. she gets lowkey upset whenever some beats her to it and goes with ann instead though.

Uhhhh an Elsa request 🌚🌚 I’m quite excited about a request for Elsa!MC as I love hippie queen Elsa. Thanks for that! I’m a Helsa shipper and I’ve written fics (one of them hasn’t been updated since 14/02/2020 lol), headcanons, crack AU (there is twilight one sdfghj), incorrect quotes etc... One of the Helsa AUs I love is the genderbent AU. I saved a few of them in my OG blog, I can share all of genderbent frozen characters’ links here which can be imagined what if they were in Twisted Wonderland. Just gonna share this one because I got that as a gift for Valentine’s Day

I added Elsa!MC’s relationship with the dorm leaders in some headcanons. I was too excited for Elsa!MC that I focused on MC in this post.

It is not where MC imagined waking up, inside of a place more confined than her room. It is overwhelming and she has no idea how she ended up there. Certainly, it cannot be her mother and father as they wouldn’t do that without telling her... right? Maybe she didn’t realize her powers got out of control while her parents did so they put her more confined place.

All these thoughts are racing in her head, not even hearing the commotion coming outside where she is, only realizes it when a door is opened and she falls from a little high place. When she sees Grimm, she doesn’t believe her eyes first then she remembers the trolls then she sees his magic. It’s similar yet opposite magic of hers, fire magic. She is fascinated by it but she can’t be near another destructive power like hers and also Grimm wants to take her clothes which is something she certainly cannot do! Her gloves especially! 

MC starts running when she notices that she isn’t wearing her gloves, leaving an icy trail behind.

When she is found out, she is dragged down by some suspicious man. She tries to explain that she is too dangerous but he doesn’t listen. She doesn’t want to hurt him accidentally like she did with her sister.

Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know, be the good girl you always have to be; she repeats herself to not freeze the weird bird guy.

When she is pushed in front of the mirror, it says “This one’s soul does not fit Night Raven Collage” then the other magical creature that wanted her clothes wants to take her place. The creature spits fire everywhere and someone yells “Duck!”. 

MC is panicked, suddenly pulling her hands over her face to cover but the blow never hits as she froze the magical creature when she moved her hands.

“I’m sorry, sorry” MC repeats.

She accidentally freezes the ghosts when they are materialized but they phase through the ice.

She panics when fighting the first overblot monster, she would rather make herself an ice castle and live there even if the food and toilet would be problem but Dire sends her in that mission, saying that it will help her open up. Though she can swear that she heard him mutter “testing her abilities.”

After the first overblot fight, MC gains a new perspective of her powers, protecting instead of destroying.

MC asks if she can attend the classes online like she did in her world because she doesn’t want to be around people but her proposal is refused. Dire assures her that the teachers and the classes would help her to return home while learn about controlling her powers. She agrees, has to agree but she still prefers online learning. She hears that another person in the school wants it so she decides to meet him so they can maybe convince Dire for online classes. Idia agrees but neither were able to convince Dire.

MC gains confidence after learning about the magic, fighting overblots and gaining friends.

She doesn’t want to play Magift but she does for her friends. She freezes the ground of rival team in this case Savanaclaw and freezes them up to their hips but they need more as Savanaclaw has better physical abilities and more magic control.

She feels Riddle’s pain as she got subjected to a similar thing for a different reason.

MC also understands Malleus’ loneliness as she was also alone for another reason. Their nightly walk is precious to her and one of the things that helped her to open up.

When she feels confident enough, she signs up for the singing competition of NRC. She writes a song based on her life but adds victorian era royalty so it won’t be exact same as her story.

MC wears confined clothing and makes a small snow hill and a small scale snow storm on stage as a prop. She starts walking on the snow hill and starts singing. “Now they know...” She takes off her gloves. She makes a small ice bridge then an ice castle as she continues to sing then she changes her clothes with magic. “Cold never bothered me anyway,” She says, closing the castle door and leaving the stage.

She wins the competition much to Vil contempt. Now she got in his radar. On the other hand, Azul offers her a job, singing in Mostro Lounge which she accepts and forms a strange bond with Azul, Floyd and Jade.

MC says “Glaciers are rivers of ice” and gets a deadpan expression from Azul and Jade while Floyd laughs “Shrimpy isn’t making sense.” Meanwhile, Azul says “We have seen glaciers every year, they are not rivers of ice.” However, MC ignores them and adds “Water has memory so ice has memory too.” Azul just gives up at that point. He thinks she is using Jade’s mushrooms.

Before she gained self confidence and interacted people more, she wasn’t able to handle Kalim but the new her enjoys spending time with him. She teaches him snow games such as snow ball, ice skating, sliding on the ice...

Leona didn’t care for MC as long as she didn’t use her powers. Cold and he don’t get along. After she gained confidence, she started to play with ice and snow more and dropping the temperature of some places, much to his dread.

MC gets comfortable with herself one day and she feels the calling of the woods. So she follows that calling. 

MC starts living in the forest of NRC instead of Ramshackle despite leaving Grim all alone there, though there are ghosts. She found herself in the woods

Now Azul is certain that she consumes Jade’s strange mushrooms.

Character Ask: Elsa

Favorite thing about them: Her queer themes.

Least favorite thing about them:  Her "chosen one" narrative in Frozen 2. I accept it as part of the canon, but I personally prefer the "born with it" and the story moves on approach.

Three things i have in common with them:

1) The cold never bothers us anyway. I hate being hot. Everything about Elsa celebrates how nice a chilly day can be.

2) We both have a bad tendency to make ourselves take on huge responsibilities and then push people away as we struggle with them. They care about us and just want to help, but we convince ourselves it would be a burden to them and suddenly an ice creature is carrying them away or they're sliding down a mountain in an ice canoe.

3) We both are still dealing with how our parents, with the best intentions, absolutely screwed up in raising us.

4) We're both queer af.

Three things i don’t have in common with them:

1) I am not close to my sibling. We were enemies as kids. We're better than we used to be, but we are not close.

2) I am good at games.

3) Disney corporate has yet to stop me from being open about being queer af.

Favorite line: "Here I stand, in the light of day." Years of being told not to let people see me "like that" makes that one hit especially hard.

brOTP: Anna. They are each other's cheerleader.

OTP: Honeymaren if we're only doing in-universe. Cass if the universe is a little more flexible.

nOTP: Hans. I know there aren't that many characters in Frozen 1, but Hans stuff squicks me out.

Random Headcanon: Elsa is a bookworm. She started reading heavily as a kid: fiction to escape and nonfiction to feel in control.

Unpopular Opinion: Elsa should have been the boss in the Arendelle level in Kingdom Hearts 3. Similarly, her tendency to push others away should have negative consequences and maybe even a villainous turn to redemption character arc in Frozen 3 or Frozen the series or whatever.

Song i associate with them: I know "Let it Go" is the obvious choice. "Monster" from the musical might be too obvious too. I'll also say "Inside" by Jennifer Knapp.

omg no not at all! hope you don't mind these kinda turned into headcanons for their lives after the end of Frozen II

-Anna is ALWAYS asking Elsa about Honeymaren. like constantly. she teases her to hell and back but she's (not so) secretly ECSTATIC that Elsa is finally able to show vulnerability to someone other than her family. Elsa pretends she's bothered by it but deep down she's grateful that Anna cares so much

-of course they send letters back and forth using Gale, and oftentimes Anna asks Elsa for advice about queenly duties because Kristoff isn't the most knowledgeable guy to ask. Elsa is always happy to help

-something about being with the Northuldrans and away from the life she was forced into really helped Elsa open up, so she gradually becomes a lot more affectionate and excitable around Anna (which makes Anna SO happy)

-on that note, Anna helps Elsa be a little bit more.. immature and less uptight. not in a bad way! but in a "we're making each other laugh really hard at my wedding and it's kind of making people stare but it doesn't matter" way

-after game nights they have a habit of going out onto the balcony and just.. talking really late into the night. everyone else sort of just acknowledges it and lets them do their thing, meanwhile they talk about stuff like their lives apart from each other and their parents and all those heavy topics. but it's never necessarily sad, just cathartic and comforting for the both of them

-Anna INSISTS she isn't jealous of Elsa's powers but sometimes she just wants to feel cool (as you do) so she'll throw her hand out into the air at random times and Elsa will make a flurry or smth in front of her hand so it looks like Anna did it

-dunno where I got this one but it's really funny to me so I'm sticking with it: since they started living apart, Anna just decided to send random shit from the castle to Elsa along with the usual letters

• like one day Gale brings along an elaborately designed fork from the castle's silverware set along w the letter so that Elsa would know it was from inside the castle, and the letter offers zero explanation or context so Elsa is just like "whomst the fuck"

• and it just keeps happening, Elsa of course keeps all of it because she recognizes the objects and by then she figures it MUST be Anna fucking around so she decides to do it back but with forest things

• Honeymaren watches Elsa send a letter along with a twig that has a single bright red berry attached and she's just like "Elsa.... what" and Elsa says "no don't worry it's for Anna" and Maren is just ????hello???

-whenever Anna and Kristoff come to visit, Elsa always makes sure to take Anna to Ahtohallan and show her all those snow sculpture memories that we saw in the movie. the first time Anna sees them it makes her cry

-they ALWAYS know when the other is having a nightmare, even if they're miles apart now. if one wakes up in a cold sweat, the other will wake up as well

-sometimes when one of them has a REALLY bad night, Elsa will ride on the Nokk to Arendelle in the dead of night (whether to comfort or be comforted). Anna will be waiting for her at the gates already and they'll go down by the docks and either talk or just hug and sit in silence

-Anna LOVES to stargaze with Elsa when she visits the forest. the stars are so much brighter away from Arendelle

-they have TICKLE FIGHTS, ENOUGH SAID

-I already technically said this but I would die for the trope of "goofy character turns more serious character into a bit of a troublemaker" and I like to imagine that Elsa just gets more and more chaotic with time bc she doesn't have to be queen anymore and Anna just doesn't care about being proper so they get up to shenanigans

Long post under the cut!

Okay so I'm planning on writing a fic where the ending of Frozen turns out differently. Anna's act of true love was too late to save her and she died. As a result of this, Elsa snaps and goes Evil Ice Queen. The fic will be pretty dark and I'm so excited. Here are some headcanons I came up with for this fic. Most are copy/pasted from a notepad document where I have them all saved. TW: Suicide discussion. It’s in bold so you can skip it if you need to.

First, Elsa's ice magic is basically controlled by her emotions, right? And you know how much stress and fear and self loathing she has? 

She's tried to kill herself several times, telling herself that everyone would be safe if she was gone and that Anna would make a better queen. But her powers wouldn't let her die. Remember how she protected herself from an arrow without even thinking about it? She flinched and closed her eyes and when she opened them there was a wall of ice in front of her and the arrow was stuck in it, right? No matter what method she tried, every suicide attempt was foiled by her own powers. 

If she tried to throw herself off a height, enough snow would appear under her to cushion her fall. If she tried to drown herself then the water would freeze into a sort of "bowl" under her so none would get in her mouth or nose and she could climb out safely. If she tried to hang herself, an ice pedestal would rise under her and prevent her from falling and being choked or having her neck broken by the rope, or the rope would just freeze and break. If she tried to cut or stab herself, the blade would freeze and shatter before it could break her skin. If she tried to poison herself, the poison would freeze and stick in her mouth, preventing her from swallowing. And if she tried to kill herself with her own ice it always failed. She can't get hypothermia or freeze to death, so that's out. Any icicle she tried to stab or impale herself with would refuse to go any further when she got it close. Once she created a pit of ice spikes and threw herself into it. The spikes burst into soft snow before she hit them and she didn't get a single scratch. This happened because in spite of her fear of hurting others and her self hate and belief that she was a monster and that everyone would be safer without her, she was afraid to die. Her fear of dying caused her powers to defend her from herself. In the fic, she may or may not attempt to freeze her own heart in an attempt to numb the pain of losing Anna. 

But since she's immune to the cold, while it might make her colder as a person, she won't die or turn into solid ice. 

It may physically preserve her though, so she won't really age and her body will be preserved for a very long time and even when it does finally start to deteriorate and age, the dying cells are replaced by snow and ice so eventually her human body will be gone and her soul will reside in a body made of ice until someone figures out how to destroy her. 

The most effective way would probably be to stab her in the heart with a weapon that has fire magic. 

But until someone is able to get near enough to kill her, she'll continue as a destructive force, keeping her kingdom essentially cursed as a frozen wasteland where nothing can thrive and everything is dying. 

If her heart could be thawed or if she could be killed, the curse would be broken and the kingdom would thaw. 

But until then, she'll remain alone in a cold, dark castle, in a cold, dark land that she cursed to reflect the state of her heart and mind. It's cold, dark, cloudy, maybe snowing most of the time. But when she goes into a rage or has a breakdown, blizzards and storms come and can be deadly. She's driven out any and all reminders of Anna, the childhood memories they had, and reminders of the happy life they could have had. Olaf and Kristoff and Sven are gone(either exiled or having left willingly, but they are still alive, just no longer in Arandelle), all the dolls and toys they played with as children are gone, even the paintings that Anna used to talk to in her loneliness are gone. It's all dark, hollow, empty, and gloomy, and icicles hang in every doorway and fall on idiots who enter without permission. Tbh she kind of reminds me of Walpurgisnacht from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The witch's nature was helplessness and she had no choice but to spin aimlessly in circles, going from place to place destroying everything and wishing someone would destroy her so she could stop, but being unable to stop because nobody was able to destroy her and every time someone failed to destroy her she only grew more powerful and her hatred and despair multiplied. That's what's happening to Elsa in my fic. She wants to stop cursing the land and destroying everything with her powers but she can't because her despair and hatred are too strong and she believes even if someone could stop her, nobody would want to because that would be the same thing as saving her, and she thinks she's so undeserving of salvation that saving her would be spitting in the face of everyone she hurt. This is another reason she'd be unable to commit suicide and it would be very difficult for someone else to kill her. She feels dying is too kind a fate for her. Elsa taking "Revenge is a dish best served cold" literally. People attempting to assassinate Elsa, only to have every attempt fail because her ice magic protects her too well and kills them. Elsa pulling a Bruce Banner on them and saying with a bitter laugh that they can't kill her, she knows, she's tried, but no matter what she does or what anyone else does, her magic won't let her die. Elsa displaying her wrath for the assassination attempts by bringing down a winter so cold and dark it could be likened to the biblical plagues of Egypt. Some brave idiot pulling a Katniss and saying "If we freeze to death, you freeze to death with us!" Only for Elsa to laugh and remind them that the cold never bothered her anyway as she freezes them from the inside by creating ice in their organs or bloodstream, then walks away after they fall lifelessly to the ground. Elsa being a terrifying queen driven by anger and hatred and made more dangerous by her incredible magical ability as well as being very mentally unstable.

Elsa having hallucinations of Anna and begging these hallucinations to forgive her. People calling her the Ice Witch instead of the Snow Queen and Elsa embracing that title. Elsa being dark and brutal and having an insatiable hunger for revenge that she feels she can't curb until she destroys everything, including herself. ICE GORE, TORTURE, AND KILLING PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR GRIEF ANGER DEATH Also a few quotes I plan on using in the fic. "I've lost the only thing I had, the only thing I was afraid of losing. There's no point in fearing anything anymore." "I'm not afraid anymore. I was afraid before, afraid of hurting An- hurting her again. But now she's gone, and she took my fear with her." "There's no fear.. No pain... No sadness..." "You can't hurt me anymore. You can't take anything else away from me. I've already lost everything." "Would Anna have wanted this?!" "Anna is dead, and if you dare say her name again, you will be too." "Feel my pain, Arandelle! You deserve it just as much as I do! My heart will never know warmth again, and neither will this land! The sun will never shine here or give life to anything here again!" And my favorite "No, Hans... My sister is dead because of you. She trusted you and loved you, and you betrayed her, broke her heart, put out the fire that could have kept her alive until she could be saved and abandoned her. You let her die a death that was probably agonizingly painful. Do you know what it's like to freeze to death? Maybe I should let you find out. But it won't be half as quick for you as it was for Anna."

I don't understand how Elsa freezes if she has ice powers that protect her from cold. (She literally sings "the cold never bothered me anyway"? Does she temporarily lose her powers when she goes too far. Does she literally freeze soild like Anna did?

It’s not really explained in the movie either.....I asked to 3 different people who saw it and they all had their headcanons, but not a true answer from the movie

Clement Children Headcanons

Alrighty, I had no access to a computer yesterday and I’ve been too distracted to post this, but it stops now. The Clement children are going to go before the Eisenberg children since after the twins and Matt, these two would be the next oldest of the bunch. 

Anyways, since these are long as usual, the headcanons and appearances are under the cut!

Hayden:

Therion and Ophilia’s 8 year old son, and Tyler’s older brother

Due to his frail body, introvert nature, and his rather girly name, Hayden gets teased and picked on by other children

As a result, he has little to no self confidence in himself

Prays to the Flame on a regular basis

Hayden’s scarf is a gift from Therion and he wears it all the time

He also recieved a blue teardrop stone-like necklace from Ophilia for his eighth birthday but keeps it hidden

Hayden’s surprisingly a fast learner

When Tyler was too young to remember, Hayden actually stole a very expensive necklace from a merchant because he wanted to give Ophilia a gift, but he had no money

Ophilia figured this out rather quickly when she asked Hayden where he got the money to buy such a pricey necklace and scolded her son for stealing, even if he had good intentions

Therion doesn’t say anything about Hayden stealing. He knows that his son isn’t going to end up a thief like he used to be, so he doesn’t do anything. However, the thought of Hayden stealing something in the first place without getting caught surprised him

Personality wise, Hayden is a lot like Ophilia. Appearance wise, Hayden greatly resembles Therion and that becomes more and more apparent as Hayden gets older, to the point where Hayden covers his left eye

When he’s older, Hayden is going to end up a Cleric much like Ophilia; and much like his mother, Hayden does the Kindling

Tyler: 

Therion and Ophilia’s 6 year old son, and Hayden’s younger brother

Despite being the younger brother, Tyler is taller and more masculine than Hayden

Also prays to the Flame, but not on a regular basis like Hayden and Ophilia

Likes to play outdoors, but also enjoys being in the inside and spending time with his family

In all seriousness, Tyler likes to wear shorts even though it’s cold in the Frostlands and he somehow doesn’t get frostbite or gets cold from being exposed to the low temperatures

Tyler has a secret habit of singing whenever no one’s looking. He usually gets caught in the end by his family and always gets embarrassed

He actually has a decently singing voice, but since people walk onto him singing whenever he thinks he’s alone, Tyler no longer sings by himself and only does it whenever he’s asked to

Personality wise, Tyler is a lot like Therion minus the thievery. Appearance wise, Tyler is a lot like Ophilia

When he gets older, Tyler is going to end up as a Cleric much like Ophilia with the intention to be the archbishop

This headcanon makes sense 👀, I mean the points are pretty valid and well justified with what little lore and world building this game offers. That would explain the boy's clothes, why is there so many damn fireplaces in HOL and why the heck the RAD uniform cover so much skin. Also I love the idea of Diavolo's showing them titties as a power move or just to pull an Elsa with "the cold never bothered me anyway".

I know no one asked, but here's my personal HC about Devildom temperature.

It's cold.

You heard me correctly. Yes.

Cold.

I know, I know, hell is supposed to be hot. But please hear me out.

There is no sun.

A lack of sun means perpetual darkness.

Darkness is not warm.

The sun is typically a way to warm the surrounding areas that the light touches as it is literally a flaming ball of heat.

That's why at night here on earth, usually temperatures drop.

Since it is always dark, there is no external heat source. Thus making it cold in hell.

Even if it was "warm", there is nothing to make it feel "warm", again, lack of a major heat source. It may not be to the point of freezing, but there is nothing to say it isn't.

It is also common for the fireplaces to be seen as lit. Assumably as a source of warmth rather than pure decoration.

After all, all of the boys we've seen wear long sleeves. Including in most demon forms.

All except Simeon. Simeon doesn't care. He must show off those shoulders. Perhaps he has an internal warmth as he is an angel? (That's a whole other hc in itself. It would also explain Luke's shorts.)

I know there are a few seen in demon form wearing short-sleeved or lacking attire. I have explanations.

Diavolo is a pureblooded demon as far as we know. He is likely used to the temperature, at least in his natural demon state. When he is in demon form, the cold doesn't affect him as much. Plus he's gotta show off that strength. It's good way to show power.

Mammon, well, he still technically wears a jacket, and he's Mammon. It's also probably a strength or pride thing for him. Showing off he 'isn't as affected' by the cold. Not to mention he is quite full of himself. He has a thing for showing off his body, as seen in many of his outfit designs.

Asmo, well, being the Avatar of Lust, when aroused or in that general state of being, it tends to warm the body, hence the lack of sleeves, and holes in his pants. The cool air probably feels nice against the heat of his body.

Bonus: You may be wondering about Satan, since he is pureblooded demon from the knowledge we are given. (Gentle spoiler ahead but nothing too crazy.) I have theories that since he was technically in the Celestial Realm as a part of Lucifer, he would be used to the "warmth" rather than the cold of Devildom. His attire could also be a way of hiding his body when in demon form, as he may not like to be reminded of any scarring or marks he may have from the fall, or his own wrath.

And if Devildom was indeed hot, why is it that all of the RAD uniforms are seen as long sleeve? Surely that is not an error in design. If it were hot, or warm in the slightest, surely they'd have given the boys a short-sleeved uniform.

I also predict this is why Lord Diavolo created his own beach, with a sun. Surely there are plenty of sunless beaches in Devildom. But the water is probably really cold, again, because of a lack of external heating.

That being said, Diavolo also probably wanted a place where he could enjoy some sun, and warmth, without having to always go to the human realm. He can stretch his demon wings without scaring off fellow human beachcomers.

Let's also not forget the fact it's at least cold enough for it to snow. (Seen in I believe the winter event + Devilgrams).

I guess you could say the expression "when hell freezes over" is technically canon.

Now, I wish I could say I have actual in game evidence to report that Devildom is actually cold, but unfortunately I don't pay enough attention to everything, so this is simply all based on speculation.
