but  there  has been  a  rainbow  in  the  downpour  of  stress  it  seemed  like  i  was  constantly  under  &  it  was  meeting  people  that  i  now  consider good  friends  &  who  make  every  day  of  my  life  better even when you bully me to use cursed faceclaims.

something i gotta talk about more is the fact that while obviously in my portrayal leon has a impact on ada and her thought process in both 1998 & in 2004 , the person who i think truly shifted her mindset on some things & actually led to her actions at the end of 'separate ways' was actually luis.

does anyone else think about how wesker had absolutely every reason to shoot down ada's chopper at the end of separate ways , like he was already fed up with her during the events of the game & had threatened her a handful of times. the fact that he chooses not to take her out and just brushes off her defiance like it's nothing at the end also makes me so 🤔

hm , i wouldn't say there is anything i dislike persay about how she's portrayed in canon. the only issue i tend to have is how just inconsitant the way her character is written can tend to be between different source materials ( games , books , etc. ). and i don't mean it in the way of , 'of course she's a spy nothing is gonna line up' , but even the way her character seemingly views or feels about things seem fairly estranged from material to material. the one upside to that though is being able to sorta find a nice middle point between what i'm given.

i'm not sure if it's unpopular but i definitely do not subscribe to the idea that ada is just a heartless mercenary / spy. i definitely think she has her moments where she's fairly apathetic , especially when it comes to her job , but i don't think that means that certain situations / events don't effect her at all even if she seems to not care in the moment.

most likely an independent contractor / mercenary ( tho i could definitely see maybe her being member of kor.tac or specg.ru but i feel like they'd have to offer her something pretty good or have some sort of blackmail on her for her to stick to playing for one side )

well rounded skill - wise ( w/ hand to hand combat & firearms but probably prefers to stick to firearms unless absolutely necessary )

much prefers being assigned to solo missions rather than team missions as she rather work alone than with someone else but will work with a team if needed

sharing some lore i dumped about my ada on discord a few days ago . . .

... like she never gives her real name / any actual information about herself & i headcanon it's because she's taken on so many different names / personalities / lives for all of her jobs that she's just truly forgotten a lot of it between all the stuff she's endured ( because who wouldn't have lots of trauma in the resident evil universe ) & just having to constantly fit herself into different molds, she just can't remember anymore , she's always questioning herself on it and like on her part it's both a blessing & a curse because this way if she can't remember then anyone she knew / any family ( if they're alive ) is safe from what she does now but also it's just such a disconnection that sometimes she truly just doesn't know who she was & it's a very startling feeling realizing you're just always reflecting what people want from you back at them
