Not Ninjago related at all but yesterday my mom and I were talking about Sesame Street and I brought up Ernie and Bert, and I didn’t know if she knew how queer coded they were, when she said that they were like her Uncle Tim and Uncle James (not their real names) Now, what’s interesting about those two was that they were actually my mom’s great uncles, and yeah they were a gay couple, but what’s more was that they were a gay couple who were completely out of the closet in the 1970s in the Baptist Bible Belt (Uncle Tim’s sister was literally a preacher’s wife, and they presumably had a good relationship from what my mom could tell). My mom elaborated on them being like Ernie and Bert, saying that Uncle Tim (her blood relative) was sweet but pretty introverted and kind of a neat freak, making him more like Bert, while Uncle James was more of a fun carefree type, definitely more of an Ernie. She always loved them, they were really sweet to her and her siblings (who somehow didn’t even know they were gay until years later lmao). Anyway, not really sure where I was going with this, just wanted to share this thought somewhere. Rest in peace great-great uncle James, you would have loved Chappell Roan

Made my OC in the Sims 4

I’m not a very good artist, but I still wanted to really visualize how Anya would look as like a human and not a Lego, so I used a template of Saoirse Ronan’s Jo March someone uploaded on the Gallery (I always imagine Saoirse Ronan’s face for Anya) and made some adjustments to fit my idea a bit better

Anya with long hair is her in the first several seasons, and Anya with short hair is her after the redesign lol

I’ve considered giving Anya an elemental power before, but ultimately I think I prefer her without powers. She does know Spinjitzu, but that’s it.

I don’t ship Anya with any canon characters, but I do find it fun to give her a romantic partner every once in a while. Ultimately, though, her priority is her found family, and anybody she would end up with long-term would have to understand that.

I view Anya as demisexual, so she won’t even be attracted to anyone until she develops a stronger connection with them. The only two times in the timeline I’ve given her a partner they’ve been men , but I’m leaving the nuances of her preferences up for interpretation lol
