choi san had always been a loving soul.
growing up in a loving and caring family, he had been taught how to give and receive affection well. always caring for his friends and family, willing to do anything to make them happy. he was quick to forgive and forget, quick to assume the best of everyone’s intentions. to put it quite plainly, for many years of his life, he only saw the best in people.
but being so loving had its consequences.
he fell in love too quickly.
at the age of 18, he was sat in his literature class in high school. the teacher hadn’t showed up yet, the students scattered around the class and chatting idly. his seat was by the window, on the third row. the weather was nice, sunny with a cool breeze. he remembered this day vividly.
he remembered this day so vividly because it was the day he met jang sooyeon.
though, at first he knew her as ms jang for she walked in with the principle, introducing herself as their new teacher. absently, he noted she was very pretty, and awfully young to be a teacher. as she walked between the desks to hand out worksheets, his gaze was drawn to a dainty, silver anklet.
it all started slowly; lingering looks and touches that rested on his shoulder for a beat too long. ms jang somehow always found him when he was alone. sometimes she’d offer a book recommendation in the library, other times she’d ask him to stay behind after class for a little chat. one day he walked in with a black notebook, poems and prose scribbled inside. noticing the little book, she asked to take a look inside. but he refused; looking at his writings felt like looking into the deepest corners of his mind, little scraps of his soul etched on the paper with his crappy ball-point pen.
but, somehow, at some point, she ended up inside it, nose practically pressed to the ink as she made sense of the inner workings of his brain. though the compliments were nice, he didn’t think too much of them. but looking back, he should have known better.
over time, her little actions and words had his heart swelling with an all-too-familiar feeling. he found himself seeking her out and soon enough, they met up outside of class, outside of school. first under the excuse of san needing tutoring (a pathetic excuse as his writings exceeded the skills of many), but soon he found himself spending time with her outside of school just because he wanted to. making excuses in the first place was stupid, everyone around them knew there was something going on.
he let her in, he cared for her and let her care for him, showing her parts of himself no one else had seen before. for that year, all his thoughts were occupied by her. his love for her grew incessantly, in ways one could almost call obsessive. he wrote about her in his notebook, learned how to bake so he could make her her favourite treats. he showed her his sanctuary, a little clearing tucked away in a forest of his hometown.
he remembered laying on the grass beside her, staring up at the clouds swirling high above. they talked but he couldn’t remember about what. when you were with a loved one the subject of conversations mattered little compared to being in their presence. he remembered her sitting up, twisting herself to look down at him with a soft smile.
looking back at that moment, he realised her smiles never quite reached her eyes.
still, he was so infatuated with her that he couldn’t see beyond rose tinted glasses.
time seemed to slow and he felt their surrounding fade away as he looked into her eyes, realising she was slowly leaning closer. hands clenching with anticipation, he hitched himself up on his elbows. but before he could kiss her a small reflection glinted in the sunlight and his eyes were drawn down to her ankle. the silver anklet glittering in the light, taunting him.
he knew it was a bad idea. he knew he shouldn’t have said anything. but he still looked up at her and quietly asked her to take off the anklet. when she asked why, that should’ve prompted him to come up with some stupid excuse.
but he loved her. he loved her so much that his heart betrayed his safety, previously unspoken secrets tumbling from his lips as he told her about his true identity. without hesitation, he admitted what he was. a bloodsucking vampire.
at first she didn’t believe him or, more accurately, she made him think she didn’t believe him. but his face stayed serious as his eyes begged to be believed, so she tossed the anklet in a seemingly random direction. and they kissed and they kissed and they loved and they held each other until the sun bade them farewell and plunged bellowed the horizon. when they got up to part ways, he missed the sinister grin on her face as she retrieved her anklet.
and she knew she caught him in her trap.
jang sooyeon was many things. calculative, determined, possibly a bit sadistic. but a fool was not one of them. from the moment she had set eyes on choi san, she knew she found what she was looking for in that school. every progression, every action, in their relationship had been carefully planned out to get her to where she was now—her back to his chest as he leaned against a tree stump in their little hideout.
she rested her head against the left side of his chest, just over his heart, staring ahead at the blades of grass and fallen leaves that danced in the autumn wind. a silence settled over them before she whispered a questions.
“sannie… would you do anything for me?”
“yes, of course. why do you ask?”
“but how far are you willing to go?”
he should’ve listened to his brain, the warning signals blaring at her words. but his heart—oh, his naïve, foolish, utterly hypnotised heart—begged and screamed for him to draw her closer.
i’d do anything for you.”
“if someone bothered me, would you… would you kill them for me?”
he paused at that, glancing down at her. an almost hesitant “yes, anything for you, my love,” falling from his pursed lips.
all things considered, he should’ve seen it all coming. everything after that conversation felt like a blur up until his next memory. it was the first time he killed someone.
she had told him this man had been bothering her, insisting to spend a night with him despite her saying she was already seeing someone. though he was slightly irked by the smile that threatened to force itself onto her features as he agreed to take care of the man, he was more focused on the fact that another man dared to even look at her with such little respect.
so, after some digging, he found himself trailing behind the same man on a dark street. hood up, eyes fixated on him, making sure not to alert him. san’s eyes briefly moved to the entrance of an upcoming alley, deciding that would be the perfect opportunity.
ten minutes later, he walked out the other side of the alley. the corpse of the man left leaning against one of the cold walls, smothered to death.
had there been any reason that didn’t involve her, he may have felt some remorse. but he was convinced what he was doing was right, keeping her safe from this potentially dangerous man.
and then she let him drink her blood.
when she offered it, he was surprised and declined, telling her that he never expected anything in return for what he had done. but she insisted, pulling up her sleeve and baring her wrist. what more suitable way to pay a vampire than in blood?
when the first drop of her blood entered his mouth, he knew he wouldn’t be able to enjoy bagged blood ever again.
after that it became a cycle. he’d get rid of someone for her and then he’d go back to her apartment and she’d let him suck a few drops of blood from her. his once pure heart was slowly stained by something darker, despite how justified he was made to believe his actions were. he lost count of how many people he went after, but he knew it was slowly driving him to insanity. and even though she convinced him he was in the right for killing those people, his heart kept him awake most nights with those dark memories.
and choi san always listened to his heart.
he doesn’t remember when he brought his concerns up to sooyeon, but he remembers they were somewhere dark. it may have been during the period where he refused to go home. he had brought her to his house for dinner and as soon as she left, his parents wouldn’t stop giving him warnings and telling them that they sensed something dark in her. this led to an argument, ending with him slamming the front door and avoiding them for a month to move in with the love of his life.
he should’ve listened to them.
the tv illuminated the the room as he sat on the couch. he heard her footsteps before she emerged from the narrow hallway of the one bedroom apartment. a towel was wrapped around her hair and her fresh clothes clung to her body in areas that hadn’t been dried properly. he looked at her, trying not to get distracted by the way she sat beside him and pressed herself into his hold. he inched away so he could see her better, the changing light of the television illuminating her wonderful features.
“listen, i… i wanna ask you something…”
“is there something wrong, sannie?”
he paused for a long moment, trying to gather his thoughts.
“don’t you think all the killing is unnecessary? i mean, you know i love you… i don’t want to have to do all this just to prove that.”
“oh, but, sannie… these are people that deserve it, they’ve hurt me. would you really want someone to hurt me and get away with it?”
“no! no, of course not. that’s not what i meant. it’s just- it’s too much for me. we love each other, don’t we? we shouldn’t worry about what anyone else does. people bother me, too, but i don’t ask you to kill them.”
“you think that? you think we love each other?”
“well, yes…”
a sharp feeling of dread tugged at his intestine.
“i don’t love you, san. you’re a monster. how could i ever love someone like you?”
she said more, but he didn’t hear any of it. he could feel every fibre of his soul being torn apart; could feel his ribcage being ripped open to reveal that naïve, foolish and utterly hypnotised heart of his. a sharp pain in his chest had him tearing up as if she’d dug a knife into his heart and twisted it in his chest. but he knew she was right. he was a monster and it was a fitting punishment for such a monster.
to want someone so much—to have them in your grasp—and knowing they will never love you the way you love them.
the days after that melted together into a dull pile of memories. he returned home but didn’t tell anyone what had happened, locking himself in his bedroom and skipping meals. he sat on his bed and cried and cried and cried and cried until he could no longer feel anything. his heart had nearly gone numb and he came to the realisation that he would’ve much preferred it if she wrapped a silver chain around his neck and strangled the life out of him.
one time he found himself staring into the mirror, terrified at the person she had turned him into. every time he looked at himself, the same words repeated in his head. monster, monster, monster, you fucking murderer. and he knew it was true. he stared at his reflection, wondering if he had changed enough to turn into a new person, enough for it to be considered some kind of suicide of his persona.
he hated himself. he should’ve listened to everyone, he should’ve listened to his brain. not his no-good, useless heart. if it could even be called that anymore.
when the urge to drink blood lured him out of his bedroom, he found himself in the kitchen opening a bag of a-positive. the familiar liquid slipped down his throat and his hunger was satiated, but not for long.
that night they found out about the blood intolerance, sat in a vampiric doctor’s office after he collapsed and was rushed to the clinic. he thought he was dying, barely hanging onto conscience as his father picked up his limp body from the kitchen floor and placed him in the car. he woke up on one of those hospital beds, his parents, older sister, and his doctor standing around him. the doctor explained that if vampires only drank one blood type for many months, in rare cases it could lead to the body being unable to process all the other types.
something clicked inside his mind. she had killed him. killed his heart, killed his body, killed his soul. she was a murderer, too. he was merely just a shell of who he used to be. the scraps left of his heart and soul screamed for revenge. he had already killed so many people, this was just one more. maybe when she was finally gone, he’d be able to live life normally.
he thought it was odd, really. just a week before he loved her more than anything in the universe, and then he was creeping through her hallways with a knife clutched in his hand. a violent end to his devotion.
the floorboards of the hallway creaked as he crept his way to her bedroom. with a random kitchen knife gripped so tightly in his hands his knuckles turned white, his breathing went shallow. he revised his plan over and over and over again, replaying it in his head like a broken record. nothing could go wrong in the next few minutes, he couldn’t afford any mistake no matter how small. a droplet of sweat melted its way down his forehead and got caught on his brow, he wiped it away with the back of his hand and finally stopped in front of the door, open just a crack.
suddenly, he felt as if his throat closed up; one of the telltale signs of his body’s reluctance to commit this heinous crime. he should be used to it by now, but somehow it felt different when it was the woman he imagined a future with. he swallowed repeatedly, praying the dry tightness of his throat would be eased by his saliva. it took him several more minutes to muster up the courage and wrap his hand around the metal doorknob, pushing the door in as slowly as he possibly could and wincing quietly when the hinges whined
she seemed to be fast asleep, light snores resounding through the spacious bedroom. much like how he revised his plan repeatedly in his head, so did his head telling him to stop. he let his disparity take over as he silently shut the door behind him and walked to the bed like a predator stalking his prey. as his gaze settled on her, a fleeting sense of remorse could’ve swept through him had he been able to see her face, peaceful in her slumber. but, alas, there was nothing to be seen except a silhouette dimly lit by the moonlight beyond the windows.
she didn’t make as single sound as the first stab went straight to the base of her neck, blood pooling around the knife as he sliced through the throat. not a single sound gave away the fact that she was now dead.
he pulled out the knife, the blade suddenly feeling so much heavier in his hold as crimson liquid dripped from the metal and stained anything it landed on. the faint smell of iron wafted into his nose and shot straight to his brain, unleashing some kind of primal urge to continue stabbing at the body despite knowing she was dead. he sunk the knife into any part he could reach—her arms, chest, stomach, shoulders.
once his mind cleared and his rationality returned to him, all he could see was dark splatters surrounding him, staining the bed, her body and his own hands. bile rose to his throat but he swallowed down the bitter taste quickly, stumbling back and dropping the dagger, the ringing of the metal crashing against the wooden floor resonating through his ears. tears pricked at his eyes as he gasped for air. the squelching of the blade as he sank it into her flesh would forever haunt him, echoing through the corridors of his scarred mind.
as he looked away from his bloodstained hands and at her body, he found her head slumped in his direction, lifeless eyes lit by the moon staring right at him. san whipped his body around; he couldn’t stand looking at her any longer. the regret crashed over him like a wave, leaving an icy trail of what-ifs. what if she had been awake? would he have still gone through with it? and yet, as he thought through all the possibilities, he couldn’t help but feel a slight weight lifted off his shoulder.
he made quick work of getting rude of the corpse. wrapping a sheet around her and carrying her out of the building. it was just past midnight, not a chance anyone would be awake. he ducked into an alley and rolled her out of the sheet, placing her in the shadows where she wouldn’t be found. even if she did, it would just look like some angry drunk had done it. those cases were often dismissed by the police. he returned to her apartment and changed the bedsheets.
when the news of her death got out, his family moved away so he could finish the last two months of high school away from the pitiful and prying eyes of his classmates. he hated the way they looked at him when he walked in the halls. he wanted to scream at them.
stop looking at me like that!
like i’m a fucking tragedy.
stop it.
stop fucking looking at me.
after all of those events. he was sure life would never return to his numb limbs. until he met jung wooyoung and kang yeosang in his first year of university. he had pushed them away at first, but upon finding out they had something in common, he accepted their friendship.
with their friendship came five others; kim hongjoong, park seonghwa, jeong yunho, song mingi, choi jongho. they proved him wrong, he could feel alive again. at least with them. it was a rather quick bond, considering themselves a little clan. but as much as he adored them, he knew he would never love some like he had loved sooyeon ever again.
until he was proven wrong yet again. from the moment he met you, he came to the conclusion that there was a reason that old saying—never say never—came to be. don’t get him wrong, it wasn’t love at first sight. but he felt something, a warmth in his heart that he hadn’t felt in years.
he wanted you for his own safekeeping. he wanted your hair to slip through his fingers. he wanted that voice of yours to whisper in his ear, under the bluish moon. he wanted you to rip out his heart and carry it with you in a little box under lock and key.
and as he looked at you now, sitting on the couch with wooyoung and yunho as you laughed and squealed as you played some game with them on the tv, he wondered. he wondered if you’d hold his tainted fingers and kiss his lips. he wondered if you’d love him and his scars and his sickening skin. if you’d love his weak heart and guilty soul. would you love a monster?
when you left, he felt his insides light on fire as you pressed a fluttering kiss to his cheek when you passed him in the kitchen, when no one was looking. since that night in your bedroom, he knew he was doomed.
seonghwa joined him in the kitchen to wash the dishes. san but his bottom lip, trying to desperately swallow down a question that lingered on his mind for weeks.
“you want to say something,” seonghwa spoke over his shoulder, a smile evident in his voice, “say it, sannie.”
“do you…” he sighed and leaned against the counter. “will we ever tell her?”
god, he wanted to know how you’d react. would you embrace them and tell them it’s okay? he wanted to be loved by you so badly his hands trembled.
the question made seonghwa pause, glancing at him and turning off the sink. he took his time drying his hands, eyes turned to the ground. he sighed, walking over to san and placing an affectionate hand on his shoulder, giving it a light squeeze.
“she’s special, and i think she’ll come to know about us. but we can’t risk rushing anything. all in due time, san, all in due time.”
with one more squeeze, he dropped his hand and left the kitchen.

- since their trainee days till 2 years after their debut the girls used to live here.
- it was three bedrooms apartment and for that space they got it for a really cheap price.
- seeing the condition that the house was in before, it really came a long way.
- the company payed a lot to fix everything in it and be livable for the girls.
- from fixing water to getting rid of any insect or cockroaches.
- Micha was the last one to come to the dorm and the last bed to be available was with hyein who came a week before her.
- seeing as each girl had a small space designed for her, they didn't dare to buy too much stuff because it will turn messy real fast.
- but they designed their home as their liking that many stuff who enter it to see if the girls need something had a hard time to believe it's the same space that they rented for them.
- the girls would say they lived their best moments in that dorm even though it felt small and crowded for six girls.
- their neighbors there later on would say, they were such polite girls and a delight to be around and couldn't help themselves and take care of them sometimes they would cook for them knowing they would be so tired to cook anything and always having food out is not good for health.
( the same dorm that newjeans have now)
- after 2 years of debut, sooyeon bought this place for them as a gift for their second anniversary
- that why when Micha had her own place she went all out and decorated it however she wants
- she decorated it with a lot of white, nude and pink undertones
- the place besides her window decorated it as a little sitting arrangements where she could read and do her school work, hence the little table.
- a little sofa, where she can watch movies with the girls and where she can invite friends in her room and watch movies.
- she has a lot of plushies and pillows laying around
- even now, Micha chooses to not change anything in her room
- fun fact when Micha first bought her own place and start living in it alone, she was so scared because she is not used living alone.
- so the first week, she made sure to close everything tightly and let the sound of the tv fill the apartment.
- the decorations of her home have minimalistic and clean aesthetic to it with a lot of white, beige and nude undertones.
- the office room and her home studio were at first guest rooms but she turned them.
- the girls said when they first went to her home they were anxious to touch anything of how everything looked clean and organized.
Fun facts:
- after she met Jungkook and their relationship turned serious, they would take turn in sleeping in each other homes.
- at first Jungkook really insisted for her to move in with him but there were a lot of incidences were she almost walked in on him on live that she refused.
- now seeing as the house of Jungkook is almost finished building and their relationship is out there, she will move in there after he discharges from the military.
- her favorite place in her house is her closet, it is organized by colors ( if you don't know already she is a clean and organized freak)
- she is the reason that jk's house is organized she almost had a heart attack when she saw it's condition at first with four mattress laying around.
- her members, boyfriend, parents, manager and Kang the only ones who has the code to her house.

[Parents / Single Mother – Moon (Sophie) Soo-yeon & Kim Il-seong]
Moon’s mother Moon Sooyeon was born in 1969 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up with her korean father and australian-korean mother. She was an office worker and singer-songwriter in her free-time.
Kim Il-seong, Moon’s father, was born 1968 in Daegu, South Korea. He grew up with his mother and a very alcoholic father. His mother left him with his father after years of physical abuse and never came back. As soon as he turned 18 he moved out of his father’s home and left South Korea. He moved to Sydney, Australia, in hopes of opening his own garage here.
In 1988 the two met at his newly opened garage, because Sooyeon’s car had broken down. They started dating and in 1990 they moved together. They got married in 1992 and in the same year their first daughter, Moon Jane, was born. Six years later, in 1998, their second daughter was born, Moon Ari.
Tragically, in 2008, their older daughter Jane died when a drunken driver swerved and hit her on the sidewalk. This caused Ilseong to fall into his father’s drinking habits. He had to give up his garage and eventually became abusive to his wife.
However, when he physically attacked their daughter in 2011, Sooyeon had enough. She reported him to the police and luckily had enough proof to get him arrested. He was charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and physical assault of a minor. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Sooyeon divorced him and in 2012 she moved to her parents, who had since moved to South Korea. Here Sooyeon tried to rebuild her life with a new job and new friends, but with the amount of trauma from the abuse, she had to undergo therapy and was eventually put in a psychiatric hospital.
In this time her parents take care of Moon, although Sooyeon is still in her life. Her daughter becomes a trainee in 2014 and this is also when Sooyeon is released from the hospital. She reconnects with her daughter, and they grow back together.
And as if her life hadn’t been hard enough, she gets diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and has to undergo treatment. It is not yet clear how high her chance of survival is.
🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
{Sister – Moon Jane}
Moon Jane was born in 1992 in Sydney, Australia. She was an amazing student in school and was incredibly athletic. She had a scholarship in track for college and played in a teenage basketball league on their way to fame.
Tragically, in 2008, when Jane was only 16 years old she died from getting hit by a car. She had basketball training and was on her way home at night. A drunk driver swerved, lost control over his car and crashed into her. She died at the scene and the driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Moon had a strong connection to her sister and to this day she grieves the loss of her older sister. Jane’s death caused the family to break apart and Moon still wishes it would’ve turned out differently. She has talked about her sister in interviews and livestreams before and wrote a song for her as well. It did impact Moon’s view upon driving when drunk and drinking overall. Moon isn’t the biggest fan of getting drunk and she despises people who drive after drinking. Overall, Moon’s life has been strongly impacted by her sister and although she was only 10 years old when Jane died, she still has her in her memory very clearly.
🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
[Maternal Grandparents – Kate Moon-Young & Moon Mal-Chin]
Kate Young, Moon’s grandmother, was born 1952. In the same year Moon Malchin was born. These two would end up marrying and having a child, named Moon Sooyeon.
After fleeing an abusive relationship their daughter moved to live with them and they started to take care of their granddaughter, Moon Ari. While Sooyeon was getting therapy and medication, the two raised their granddaughter with lots of love and care.
They originally were against the idea of her becoming an idol and after Moon had decided to do it anyway, they had lost contact for a while. Moon was hurt by their unsupportive mindset, and they were hurt that she wouldn’t listen to them. But after Moon rekindled her relationship to her mom, they also got back in contact, slowly rebuilding the close bond they used to have with their granddaughter.

I'm happy that OC believed Jungkook and let him stay
I'm sorry for Jungkook because he was so scared of losing his only friend but had to stay strong in front of OC
I'm proud of Yoongi for being so mature and undestanding. This was the best possible breakeup. I hope that he and Sooyeon will get together again because he deserves to be happy. And I also hope that OC and Yoongi stay friends.
I'm grateful to Taehyung for coming to his senses and apologising. I know he didn't mean any harm and he was just worried about his friends. It's good that everything has been cleared now.
I'm rooting for OC and Jungkook. Hope they will build a healthy relationship.
yes! i’m glad everything’s cleared up and back to normal
everyone deserves to be happy after all that :(
thank u for this great journey <3

No one is surprised to see Sooah being all excited about the activities anymore. She was always walking from one side to the other, talking to people, or doing some of the classes they made available to the idols. To put it simply, she was enjoying the little break as much as she could while she could before they had to go back to the busy and rushed life that awaited her back home. It almost felt like she was on a school trip if she ever went on one, after all, she had already debuted when she was in high school, and going to places with her schoolmates wasn’t really a possibility at the time.
Compared to her roommate, Sooah was simply overly excited. Somehow, every time Sooah saw Sooyeon, either in their room or in some quiet place outside, the other was asleep and Sooah quite understood why that was the case. If she wasn’t mistaken, Wish would start touring and with how close together their comebacks usually are, it would come to no surprise if they started preparing their next song soon. But Sooah had pilates class and there was no one else she could have asked to make her company and somehow, she had managed to drag Sooyeon from all people to a more exciting activity than sleeping.
They were on a little break and Sooah felt her muscles aching a little from all the exercise when she finally looked at her companion, “I should have taken you to a less demanding class now that I think about it, are you okay?”

"you said you're ordering a drink? what is this? you're meeting someone behind my back? is this the girl you're seeing?" you flinched when suddenly the girl point her hands at you.
"babe– i don't know her" the gorgeous man said to the girl who was really furious.
"coffee for ms. y/n" the counter announced. you were about to go when the girl suddenly pull your hair.
"so you're siding this b!tch, you b!tch how can you seduce a man that is in a relationship" she kept pulling your hair so when the man stopped her you didn't hesitate to slap her. the people inside the café was shocked.
"i'm sorry if my slap is hard but that's pulling my hair. i don't know who your boyfriend is and i don't have any business with him. please excuse me, my coffee is getting cold in the counter" you said after leaving the couple behind. you were glad that you're coffee was in the counter or else you would splash that woman your coffee.
"can't believe this is happening to me as soon as i arrive here" you whispered to yourself.
"yo what happened?" jeno asked jaemin who was inside the café.
"apparently, sooyeon was really furious about him and then suddenly she saw him here with a girl" renjun said to jeno.
"wait you're cheating?" jeno asked making jaemin baffled. he looked at jeno with a ridiculous look.
"are you serious? you know me more than anyone in this room, how can you say that?" jaemin asked jeno making jeno scratch the back of his head. jeno was about to apologize when suddenly jaemin phone started to ring. haechan was calling.
"JAEMIN! HAVE YOU SEEN THE FORUM?! THEY'RE SAYING THAT YOU CHEATED SOOYEON WITH ANOTHER GIRL" haechan said shouting through the phone.
"what?" jaemin said in confusion. the two guys who was listening tap to their phone and search their forum real fast.
"jaemin look" renjun said and face his laptop to jaemin. he saw a video of sooyeon going in to the café and end with her pulling the hair of the unknown girl. jaemin ran his hand to his hair and sighed.
"ahh i can't believe this" he said to himself.
"it's your first day in school and you're already the center of attention, how do you feel about that?" y/n looked at her friend, jungwoo. she sighed, she didn't expect that the couple she ran into yesterday was this popular.
"i told you, you should've come with me yesterday. now i have to deal with all of this people" she said and jungwoo chuckled at her.
"isn't she the girl with jaemin? why is she with jungwoo?" y/n rolled her eyes at them and hug jungwoo. she doesn't care, jungwoo is her cousin and her best friend so they can say anything they want about her and jungwoo.
"don't we look alike? we literally look like siblings" you said in a pouty manner to jungwoo and he laughed at you.
"you're so cute" he said and hug you tight. you scoffed at his action and tried to get out of his hug while hitting him.
"can you two stop that? you look disgusting" you both stopped when doyoung appeared in front of you. you beamed and run over to him but he dodged your hug.
"why are you like this to me? i'm your sister" you said to him but he just rolled his eyes at you.
"if you stop acting like a baby then i will be nicer to you" he said back.
"ok" you said and pulled jungwoo to leave him.
"where are you going? you don't know what's your schedule is" doyoung said making you stop at your tracks. you sighed and walked back to him.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Ep 7: SCREAMING THE ENTIRE EP FOR MANY DIFFERENT REASONS
My God was that a rollercoaster??? Let me number my thoughts while I’m at it:
(Once again, from someone on the spectrum)
1. It started off sweet and emotional about the townspeople and their togetherness, and I found myself smiling seeing Myung-seok so passionately agree to take the case on after seeing Youngwoo and Sooyeon so passionate last week. Funny little human things, when you care you put 110% of your efforts in no matter who you are.
2. Youngwoo slipping looked like it HURT oh wow, and I’m glad Junho noticed and was kind enough to give her his jacket to cover the rip on her clothes (literally had the biggest smile on my face). Youngwoo really would’ve been fine, Junho just likes her and wants her to have nice things (even if he was completely awkward with her before this interaction, he’s constipated in his own mushy feelings) and you know what? Valid! I’m honestly so glad there’s a natural relationship progression between them – that he’s mushy and awkward about his feelings in the first place toward Youngwoo. Finally we are pined over and loved!!! I’ve never wanted two kdrama leads to be together as much as I want these two.
3. The conversation Sooyeon had with Junho gave me… mixed feelings tbh. On one hand I think this was Sooyeon’s frustrated way in accepting Junho does not like her in the same way she very much likes him, that he should just be clear and tell Youngwoo he likes her to make things better for everyone involved (considering this was also after Sooyeon got frustrated at Youngwoo for thinking it’s hard to like her because she’s autistic, which she thought was bullshit considering Youngwoo’s great and she’s watching her own crush like Youngwoo in real time) but on the other hand… the beginning did make me raise an eyebrow. “Don’t do this now if you’re not going to do it for a long time, because I got exhausted when I thought it was fine at first” — alright, but Junho already established boundaries with Youngwoo. They enjoy lunch together and talk about whales, it’s whale talk time, which Junho also has prior knowledge in and genuinely wants to hear about. Youngwoo is a person who will talk about whales when she wants to talk about whales, but she’s not an asshole. It’s very clearly easy for her to respect boundaries. If you established boundaries with her then maybe she wouldn’t have spoken about them to you after your test? Or did you not establish those boundaries because you pitied her and thought “she’s autistic, I can’t do that” ?
(want to put a disclaimer here that I’m not hating Sooyeon, just saying how that part of the conversation hit me. I’m glad she’s there to stand up for Youngwoo when she isn’t around, even happier she took Minwoo’s unwashed butt out of Junho’s car seat. But it’s nice to see her as a character that’s actively trying as a friend in Youngwoo’s life, even if she does raise eyebrows sometimes.)
4. I need Minwoo to be hit by a bus. Preferably with Geurami driving it. This one also has mixed feelings. I feel Minwoo and Sooyeon are opposites, where Sooyeon sometimes undermines Youngwoo because of her autism, Minwoo feels threatened because he thinks she receives special treatment for it. He’s definitely ableist, like I won’t even bother arguing that, but I do think it’s interesting seeing people argue he isn’t. Minwoo as a character is meant to represent casual ableism — very much what we experience everyday in the working world. The drama obviously is using cinematography to make us hate him, yet so many people are questioning why because we can also, thanks to the writing, understand the fundamentals of his points. If you see everything in black and white (not recommended, it’s actually very damaging sometimes) Youngwoo got in through nepotism and nepotism’s bad. If you see the world as it is, in the myriad of colours where everything is subjective, Youngwoo got in through her skills she has shown for the past 7 episodes and faced discrimination not being accepted to every other firm, and Minwoo is just salty she’s showing him up while all he did in that firm was kiss every client’s ass in the cases he handled.
5. TAE SOO-MI IS YOUNGWOO’S MOTHER CONFIRMED!! After the little hints in last week’s episodes I feel she may explicitly introduce autistic masking to the drama, fingers crossed I’m so excited to see how that plays out. On another note, I think the dad might be too paranoid about the law firm’s intentions with Youngwoo. We may be proven wrong, but I don’t think Seon-young was that conniving, and the dad might just be viewing the world through a parent’s lens of “everyone wants to take advantage of my child”. I feel this can be true for most parents with autistic children, more so for parents who are allistic themselves. The world is full of things that can hurt Youngwoo, people will disregard her and take advantage of her, but she has the right to make the decision on whether she wants to experience that. The wrong is on the people doing it to her — why must she be a pawn in her own life? A chess piece whose moves are decided by other people? She has a right to feel upset at the end, and I’m glad she is.
6. Saved this for last because OH MY GOD…. That scene with Junho and Youngwoo, I’ve never kicked my feet and squealed so much at a kdrama scene before. Youngwoo asking him for consent to touch him to see if she likes him was the sweetest thing ever, consent is so sexy. Without her asking consent Junho would’ve been constipated in his feelings for another week or so, thank you Youngwoo. Junho’s finally flirting!!!!!!! She closed her eyes they were going to kiss AND THEN IT CUT AWAY! Inject this scene into my veins because I will not be getting over his that’s disappointing” anytime soon.
Absolute rollercoaster istg.

Something that I’m thinking about this ep is how people read this show and the characters differently because its main character has autism. And it makes sense, since that is an attribute that most kdrama characters don’t have, but it’s interesting because this show ALSO falls solidly within the bounds of the “man tries hard to be good at his job” [for the most part idk, I don’t watch these because I don’t care about men who are proud of themselves or even just “good” at their “jobs” (supposedly), but I think there are a lot of lawyers and sometimes women also get to try to be good at their jobs and men just gotta go and disappoint them, you know? also it’s all Namgoong Min stars in anymore.] AND the “slice of work” [sometimes we just need a show where people (mostly women) crush it at work and realize their dreams after failing over and over again, mentor/mentee relationships, cool looking offices, rom-com professions, idealistic main characters, preachy plots] trope sets here. So ultimately what we’re dealing with here is a show that is trafficking in the same tried and true formulas we’re used to from these genres.
And so it’s interesting how changing one element (the main character’s central conflict not being poverty or a traumatic event in their past) adds complexity to the way we read things, but also narrows the lens through which we interpret actions. Minwoo was set up early as a common workplace kdrama archetype, The Kiss-Ass Who Doesn’t Care About Ethics and Just Wants to Get Ahead. These characters are whiny, entitled babies who think they’re the only people who’ve ever struggled. They think they’re in a gritty story where they’re the antihero but they don’t know they’ve land plop in the middle of story where We All Learn Something from the Hero’s Tenacity. There are a number of ways this character can go. I always root for the Inspiring Character Growth direction (especially in this case since Geurami likes him), but he might also become a Turncoat to add a little spice to the narrative! And because this show is about Woo Young Woo and in part about how she has autism, that is going to be tied to this character’s actions as someone who is built to be in conflict with her.
So it makes sense that there were so many posts this ep about how Minwoo is ableist and We Don’t Like Him. But I was interested in how many of these posts said Just That. Because the truth is, everyone at her office is ableist. Especially Myungseok and Sooyeon. And we know that! But it doesn’t make us write their characters off. They live in an ableist society. They’re flawed. Minwoo is just more flawed. Because it isn’t just ableist, he’s also a jerk. The thing that makes what Minwoo said on the phone so much worse is that WE know that HE knows what he’s saying is bullshit.
By the end of last episode MInwoo had to acknowledge that Woo Young Woo is a good lawyer. So he basically started giving himself permission to play dirty. What he said on the phone was so much worse because he knows (based on his own biases previously) how easy it is to use someone else’s ableism to write Youngwoo off. I think that’s also why Junho didn’t say anything, because he knows that Minwoo KNOWS what he’s doing. Minwoo had make sure she couldn’t prepare, not tell her about a meeting, etc etc, to “win” against her and he knows that.
What I did actually appreciate however, was Minwoo telling Youngwoo at the start of the episode that he was sabotaging her on purpose. Mostly I appreciate this because it would have simply sucked as a viewer watch him undermine her constantly and have to wait for her to catch up. He wanted to win, but he’s enough of an asshole to want her to know that he wants her to lose. There is respect there but not in a good way.
Sooyeon gets embarrassed by things Youngwoo does, gets annoyed by her and condescends to her. But always think about that first scene in Myungseok’s office where Youngwoo is introducing herself and is about to start on her palindrome thing and Sooyeon gives her a little shake to tell her not to. Sooyeon knows that Youngwoo is a good lawyer who always got first place at school, she could pretend not to know Youngwoo or not care whether or not Youngwoo makes a good impression, but she helps her out. It was good writing to contrast Youngwoo liking her to disliking Minwoo in an episode that focuses on how Youngwoo struggles to remember that people lie/trick and deal with it (something we HAVE seen already in previous eps, though).
I think it also touches on some stereotypes connected to autism. The way Youngwoo says autistic people mostly live in a world with “just me” and other people think of things in relation to “Me and you.” For Sooyeon and Minwoo, this is true x100. Both are SUPER obsessed with what other people think/do/think of them. That leads to Sooyeon’s frustration that Youngwoo isn’t obsessed with that, and her feeling that other people would/should also be frustrated by that, but ultimately Sooyeon is empathetic and is still nice to Youngwoo. And while what Youngwoo said about “just me” might sound like this idea that autistic people aren’t empathetic, I think this episode actually reveals that these are two separate things. Youngwoo might struggle to consider what other people are thinking, or to remember it could be vastly different from her point of view. Minwoo struggles to CARE how other people think/feel, even though he seems pretty good at taking it into consideration. If anyone on this show needs to learn empathy, it’s Minwoo.
Basically there’s a scale from Empath to Dalek. On the empath side is Junho and Minwoo is a Dalek. Youngwoo etc are somewhere in between.
#btw I don't believe in empaths but if they were real junho would be one#anyway i guess one of my points is that minwoo didn't upset me that much#because he is a Stock character doing what a Stock character does#which is to say doing exactly what we expect#I was just glad that he literally was like#hey youngwoo heads up I'm the worst#idk#extraordinary attorney woo#I'm sure this post has a million typos

The founder
When the famous producer Jung sooyeon decided to start her own entertainment company with better environment for young trainees, she found a lot of opposition from many people, even from people who she thought were her friends. But she wasn't surprised, she knew this would happen in a male dominated industry. But that didn't stop her but motivated her more to realize her dream. In recent interview with Forbes magazine she stated that some days she couldn't afford meals and sold her car for a bike to make ends meet. At first the small company had a few trainees that sooyeon personally selected them and among them were the future six membres of newjeans. For the girls, sooyeon was like a mother to them she would always nag if they had their meals and would take them out to eat even if she had little to no money to spend, she would always smile when she sees them enjoy their food. In all of the press conference the founder always said that she may founded Ador, but the girls were the one to built it and be successful without newjeans there will be no Ador of today.
Her relationship with micha
When sooyeon first met Micha, of course when first cought her attention was her visual she wouldn't deny that, she remembered clearly thinking she is only thirteen and looks this pretty what will happen when she grows up. But she was painfully timid that she was worried about her, but surprisingly that seemed to change and she noticed unlike before when Micha performed with the trainees she seemed to shine even if she danced in the back of the group you can't help but look at her. Now Micha like to tease her by quoting the things she says, meanwhile sooyeon always keeps Micha favorite sweets in her office.
The group manager
If sooyeon was the mother and the girls literally call her " eomma" then kim hanbin is their "appa", he is one of the few people he believed in sooyeon and her vision. When he accepted to be the manager of the girls he didn't think that he will grow white hairs earlier than it should. With every minute with them he felt like he aged a century yet he truly loves them, he is protective over each one of them. He doesn't mind knocking some bastard down if it means they are safe. And it is the same thing for Micha he honestly doesn't have a favorite, all six of them are his daughters.
Her Dream team
Her manager
When the girls started getting busy, hanbin found it best if each girl has her own team who she gets along with and can pick themselves. So Micha picked her pretty unnie who gave her free candies and was her mentor throughout her whole journey, jeong saebi. Saebi truly has the patience of a saint, if Micha was managing herself she would've run for her life a long time ago, she can be handful at times but she is thankful for saebi for sticking with her and believing in her. Saebi knew Micha like the back of her hand and see her like a daughter, bunnies can't get enough of their interactions.
Personal stylist
When ye hea first come to the company, she was really shy. But as soon she was assigned to Micha all hell break loose, they became chaotic duo. Micha can be quiet picky of what she wants to wear. But together the came out with some iconic looks. Hea said that she loved dressing her up first because she has a great figure that anything looks good on her, especially now that became older and can try more daring looks.
Main makeup artist
Han mina is the closest to age to Micha in all her dream team, fun fact Micha was the one to ask for her after she watched videos of her work on Instagram and really liked her style. Mina didn't even imagine once in her life to have an opportunity like this therefore she is forever grateful for Micha.
Main hairstylist
Min seojun came later in the group, at first he didn't know how to fit in among the group, but it was easier than he thought. The group accepted him and tried to make him participate in everything they did together. To be honest he judged Micha falsely before meeting her. He thought that she was that arrogant rich celebrity he had to work for. But after meeting her all of those judgements went down the drain. She was just a mischievous little girl who just wanted to act her age and play around with the people she loves.
Main bodyguards
The handsome oppas as bunnies call them, park minho is a fun guy to be around despite his huge built, he reminds Micha of a giant teddy bear he shares her love for sweets and always jokes around with her, but he takes his job in protecting her seriously, whether jongdae is a more on the quiet side and Micha took it her life mission to crack him. When saebi told him good luck, he didn't take it seriously I mean how hard it would be to protect a little 16 year old, it was his big mistake underestimating her. If he even take his eyes off of her one minute he wouldn't know where she wandered off. People sometimes jock that he had to take care of Micha and minho. Even though jongdae doesn't know how to show his love but he truly cares from Micha and wouldn't change her for the world till the point that he named his daughter after her.

now that I've had a bit more time to think about the finale it really was actually quite messy and underwhelming lol it clearly did take youngwoo's side more than the previous episodes which was a clear positive evolution but I can't manage to feel fully satisfied about all the things that were presented as positive. and since I still don't really know if they knew there would be a season 2 when they wrote the ending... how convenient if they didn't because that's a good excuse for wrapping things so lightly and messily if they can pick them up again. yes youngwoo is fulfilled and happy at hanbada - but I'm sad the show kind of gave up on exploring how inadequate working there made her feel in regards to her own ethics because yes this time she was able to do things her way but it was because it served the ceo's plot against tae sumi not because everyone suddenly agreed that they should always serve the truth as attorneys -, yes she got to respect her brother wishes and help him out - and she clearly got attached to him very quickly but then the episode ends and we don't even know if they're in contact or not or if they want to get to know each other better or how her father reacts to her meeting her half brother so it feels quite underwhelming -, yes she got back with junho and they're very cute and all and i'm so happy for them - but they needed to talk more because although the cat image was kind of wonky I thought it was cute (something about him loving her and the cat of caring for her and of simply being on her side) and I'm glad she felt confident to pursue a relationship with him but it felt weird to have it be called an unrequited love when youngwoo has told him several times that she likes him a lot so it's not so much but their feelings but about what the expect from the other or want to give the other and then we don't really know how that translates in their relationship and how they actually work things out and now that they're officially dating i thought he'd meet her father? -, yes tae sumi gave up on becoming minister so youngwoo isn't really a threat to her career any more - but it felt off to have her be presented as a bad mother to someone she simply hasn't been a mother to aside from biologically and the fact that everything just leads to her giving up on her main goal to be a good mother as if to redeem her from being a bad mother to youngwoo by giving her up to save her chances of getting that career she was planning for... that's not how it works ! it just made me feel again that the writer didn't really know what to do with tae sumi and wether she thought she was bad bad or not and so she just kept her on the side for most of the show and we barely know her as a result and her being led to just give up on her main motivation felt a bit like a candle that was supposed to lit up a pack of dynamite being simply blown out by a random rush of air like... that's it? all of that for that? -, yes myeongseok is not dead - but it's such a typical end of the show trope to have someone get cancer that I never doubted he'd get out of there alive so it all feels like an excuse to get the other senior attorney to take over his team so that we could see how good of a boss he was and how lucky youngwoo was to have him (and their relationship remains a delight) because look at how difficult the other is making her life look how hard she could've had it and for the ceo to take over the case in the end-, as for minwoo and sooyeon ugh - okay he's given up on plotting against youngwoo but it wasn't even working anyway and he still hasn't apologised and he's just sort of stopped criticising her every time she talks and sooyeon must be over the moon but I'm just doubting how the two of them together would treat youngwoo - so all in all I still feel like this is the show :
I'm glad youngwoo is happy and fulfilled and not in danger of losing control over her life and that she thinks her life is beautiful (and she's so right) but a lot of the reprehensible behaviour that people have done towards her hasn't been corrected and the pacing and tone of the show took turns it shouldn't have so I'm a bit torn
#extraordinary attorney woo#I wrote a first version of this and tumblr was like nope I'm not uploading this so sorry if this one feels messy I got lazy#vinformation

With You
Pairing: Jeon Jeongguk x Reader
Genre: Fluff, smut, College!AU, established relationship
Word Count: 5.2k
Summary: Although trying to fight it, Jeongguk can’t help but become insecure about your relationship after your ex best friend starts filling his head with lies about you and Taehyung, his best friend who you just so happened to be out with that day. Good thing is, you’re right there with him to reassure him you want him and only him.
—Alternatively, the one in which during a heated make out session you find out your boyfriend is a virgin, and decide to help him get himself off.
Warnings: Heavy making out, light body touching (?), dry humping, confident Guk and shy/awkward Guk keep switching places, handjob, blowjob. And yup, Guk’s (still) a virgin.
A/N: Helloo, this from part 28 of my Social Media AU ‘Tiger Flower’, but I guess you can still read it if you haven’t read the full story lol. So this was supposed to be a 2k drabble like the ones I always write but I got a bit carried away 🤡 I hope you enjoy! 💕 ALSO, someone asked me to bold the beginning and ending of the smut part(s), so if you don’t wanna read the smut just look for the bolded words and skip what’s in between lol.
Running his hands through his face as the elevator’s doors opened, Jeongguk started walking through the hallway to his place, head lowered as he absently looked in his pocket for the keys to the apartment.
The conversation he had with Sooyeon was still going through his mind over and over. Although he had managed to sound confident enough through the texts they had exchanged and he had put her in her place —along with blocking her ass just like he had wanted to ever since the first time she brought you up into the conversation—, he could not deny her words did hit home.
Taehyung was definition of your type. Outgoing, talkative, funny, handsome. The life of the party, in other words. Something he was not, and something he would never be, considering he did not show up to parties at all if it wasn’t because he was either forced to by his friends or because you would be there.
Taehyung could most definitely show you a good time, whereas he, on the other hand…
No, fuck that. You were dating him. He was your boyfriend. He, Jeon Jeongguk. That was all he could find comfort in.
Then again, you were not with him right then. You were somewhere else with Taehyung. As friends, but still. And then again, just like he had a high school crush on you and found himself falling all over again three years into college, so had you with Taehyung right before dating him. Would it really be that hard for you to fall for him a third time when the two of you were still so close?
He shook his head, as if trying to shake his thoughts away. Don’t let Sooyeon get to you, Y/N’s with you for a reason. Don’t let Sooyeon get t—
“Hey…”
Before his head could keep on torturing him, your voice brought him back out of his small trance, fixing his wide doe eyes on you for two seconds before he took in his surroundings, only then realising he had already reached his apartment’s door.
Staring back at you, his eyes lit up.
“Hey,” he said softly. “What… What are you doing here?”
You shifted nervously in your place. “You sounded kinda off through texts, so I just wanted to check up on you”.
He nodded quietly, fighting the huge smile that was threatening with forming on his lips.
Because you were there. With him.
“You didn’t, um…” his eyes travelled to the door for a second before they were back on you. “Joon-ie hyung didn’t open the door for you?”
A small laugh escaped your lips at the way his eyebrows had furrowed, ready to fight his roommate for leaving you waiting out there for God knows how long. “I didn’t call on the door” you explained, causing his eyebrows to knit further together in utter confusion. “I didn’t know if you wanted me here at all, so I thought I’d just wait outside in case you wanted to be alone and asked me to g—”
Your words were cut off by a sweet kiss being pressed to your lips. Although taken aback the first second, you smiled when he cupped your face to press his mouth deeper against yours.
“What was that for?” you smiled once he pulled away, eyes still closed as you felt his nose gently bumping yours.
“I’m just happy you’re here” he breathed contently.
“That’s good to hear” you sheepishly admitted, resting your hands on his chest. “I honestly thought you would ask me to leave”.
He shook his head no, pecking your lips before he pulled you into his arms. “Don’t be silly, you know I always want to be with you”.
You took in a shaky breath, feeling all the tension you had been building up until then leave your body for good, and then wrapping your arms tightly around him as well. “Yeah, but you sounde—”
“Shh,” he hushed you, pressing a brief kiss to your neck. “I want you here”.
You let out another laugh, not only because of how happy his words made you, but because of the way he later grabbed your face once again to start peppering kisses all over it.
“Yah, Jeon Jeongguk!” you called him out in between giggles. “We’re in the middle of the hallway”.
He laughed, pecking your lips one last time before he pulled away. You just didn’t know how much it meant to him having you there with him right then when he needed you the most.
Without another word, he took his keys out of his pocket, like he had intended to minutes ago, and finally opened the door.
Stopping in his tracks, he turned around to look at you with a raised brow. “You’re coming in, right?”
You shrugged nonchalantly. “I mean, since you ask so nicely…”
Rolling his eyes at your overdramatic ways, he grabbed your hand, pulling you inside his place with him, not giving you time to even take a look around as he dragged you into his room.
“I don’t even get to say hi to Joon?” you teased as you closed the door behind you and he went to lie down on his bed.
“You can go say hi if you want” he replied simply, resting his weight on his elbows so he could properly look at you.
“Nah,” you shrugged, watching his nose scrunch up as his lips parted into a big smile when you started walking towards him. “I came to see you after all”.
“That you did” he contently affirmed, that being all he needed to let go of his intrusive thoughts.
Letting his back fall on the bed once again, he stretched his arm out on the mattress for you to go over there. Without another word, you crawled in bed with him, resting your head on his arm just like he wanted you to, scooting closer to him when his hand rested on your shoulder, and then resting yours on his chest.
“So how was work?” you tried to initiate small talk, tenderly running your fingers in circular motions from his chest to his abdomen.
The sigh that had escaped his mouth let you know not so well.
Work itself had been alright . What happened afterwards when he was heading home and Sooyeon texted him? Yeah, that had been shitty as hell.
“I blocked Sooyeon” he let you know.
Your head snapped up. “Hadn’t you already done that?”
“From Instagram, yeah” he nodded. “I blocked her phone number now. It can be a little awkward tomorrow when I see her but it’s the last day of filming, so I couldn’t care less”.
Although wanting to laugh —because, let’s be honest, that new piece of information could only bring you joy—, you ended up pouting in confusion.
“Something happened?”
“The usual,” he took in a deep breath. “She was talking shit”.
You nodded understandingly. Although wanting to know the details, you understood he didn’t really want to talk about it, for otherwise he would’ve told you by then. So, you said nothing, settling for pressing a lingering kiss to his shoulder instead.
“Is that why you were upset?” you wondered.
Jeongguk stayed quiet, both in awe at how you could tell he wasn’t feeling his best just by a couple of texts, and once again upset at the conversation he had held with Sooyeon earlier that evening.
“Kinda” he tried to shrug it off.
You puckered your lips, stopping your soothing motions on his torso and resting your palm on it instead so you could support your body up as you looked for his chocolate eyes.
“Was it because I went out with Tae?”
The way his body had tensed was all the answer you needed. However, he surprised you by shaking his head no.
“It wasn’t… I mean,” he sighed, pushing his hair back with his hand. “You guys are friends, it’s okay”.
You stared at him intently. Maybe he claimed it didn’t bother him, but his eyes right then, which remained fixed on the ceiling instead of your concerned ones, told you otherwise.
Placing your hand on his arm and giving it a light squeeze, you leaned in to briefly press your lips to his cheek. “I’m sorry,” your sincere words managed to catch his attention. “I should’ve asked if you were okay with it”.
He shook his head no immediately, sitting up and resting his back on the headboard. “You don’t need to ask for my permission to meet up with people, petal”.
“I know, but,” you shrugged, sitting up as well by his side and focusing your eyes somewhere other than his. “Everything is still kind of recent, I should’ve been more considerate of your feelings. I’m just so used to hanging out with mostly guys that I forget I have a boyfriend now and you—”
You caught on the way he had —teasingly— raised up a questioning eyebrow, making you mentally go over the words you had just said and panic once you realised how wrongly you had worded them.
“Wait, no!” you tried to correct yourself immediately, as he could no longer hold his serious semblance and started laughing. “I don’t forget I have a boyfriend, I meant that I forget you might not be very fond of—yah!” you called him out when his laugh did no longer allow your words to be heard.
“I know what you meant, petal” he reassured you, grabbing your hand and gently running his thumb on the back of it. “You look so cute when you panic”.
“Aish, you’re so annoying” you crossed your arms over your chest.
Chuckling at your cute annoyance, he took advantage of your folded arms to pull you towards him by them, having you instinctively straddle his lap after his lips collided with yours.
“You’re really okay with it then?” you asked one last time, cupping his face as he opened his eyes; watching the way they smiled right before he nodded.
He trusted you. Both you and Taehyung. He really did.
He knew the two of you were just friends. After all, he had told Taehyung it was okay for him to hang out with you from time to time back when they had The Talk. And he was truly okay with it. It was just that he couldn’t help being insecure sometimes, and Sooyeon’s words had only managed to increase that feeling.
He needed some reassurance from you, that was all.
“Just…” he licked his lips as he tried to find the right words. “You want to be with me… right?”
You answered his question with a slow, lingering kiss. One that left him aching for more, lips slightly puckered when yours left their touch. “I’m with you for a reason, bun” you cooed. “I mean, I am your girlfriend after all, am I not?”
He smiled blissfully, still feeling a wave of heat run up his body whenever that word was mentioned in reference to you, as he was not quite used to it yet. “Don’t go forgetting I’m your boyfriend then”.
Just as a light laugh escaped your mouth at his mocking remark, he entangled his fingers in the hair at the back of your head to pull you back into his lips, resting one of his hands on your lower back as you wrapped your arms around his neck the way he loved it, slightly opening your mouth to give him easier access to it.
And maybe it was the loose fabric of the oversized hoodie of his you had kept and were wearing that day, that made it so easy for his hands reach for your naked body underneath, or maybe it was just the way he had been craving you for so long, what made him dig his hands inside of it without a second thought — fingertips hesitantly tracing your skin and thumbs drawing circles on your waist for a couple of seconds before they trailed all the way up to the hem of your bra, where they stopped in their tracks and travelled to your back instead, as he didn’t want to overstep any more boundaries than he already thought he had.
Earning a small protesting whine from him when your mouth let go of his, you surprised him by digging your own hands under your hoodie and grabbing his wrists, causing a shaky break to abandon his mouth when you placed his hands on your breasts, just like that, giving him the last little push he needed to do what he was dying to.
“You can touch me all you want” you managed to say a little out of breath, not having time to feel shy at your own words under his piercing stare before his mouth was once more smashing on yours.
Enjoying the spoken consent you had just given him, he wasted no time in cupping your breasts, smiling in between your kisses at the way they felt so perfect in his hands — imagining how much softer they would feel without the lacy fabric in the way.
Letting go of one of them, he placed his hand on your bare back to pull you closer against his chest, giving the one still in his hold a firm squeeze that had you moaning against his lips.
And right then, he felt something he had not quite felt before. It was the way he felt his blood boil and the way he wanted more. He wanted to hear more of that melodic sound. He wanted more of you.
Only, the next second, it was you the one making a raspy moan come out of his mouth, when you grinded against his lap, providing him the friction he didn’t know he needed so bad.
Removing one of his hands from underneath your hoodie, he cupped one of your cheeks to keep you steady as he sucked your bottom lip into his mouth, tongue tracing its outline so you would open up. Doing as he wanted, you felt his tongue pleasantly massage yours, deciding right then you also wanted to feel his bare skin against your fingertips, not letting any other second go by before your hands were already making their way inside his black sweatshirt, feeling goosebumps form on his skin as your faint touch inevitably tickled his abdomen.
Letting go of his mouth, you planted a kiss to his jaw before making your way down to his neck, getting a gasp out of his mouth when you started sucking at the sensitive skin.
With the intention of keeping you still on his lap as your hungry lips worked on his neck, he placed both of his hands on your hips — momentarily forgetting about his own strength and ending up pulling you down roughly enough for you to unintentionally rub once more against his already hardening member.
“Fuck” he rasped, feeling you smile agains his neck before you rolled your hips one more time just to get another moan out of him.
Not letting go of your hips, if anything grabbing them tighter, he turned both of you around so he could be in control now. With your head hitting the soft pillow, and still taken aback by his sudden actions, you allowed his needy lips to attack yours once more for a while before they peppered small kisses all their way down to your neck.
“Jeongguk” you moaned when he thrusted his hips against your center.
He smiled, loving the tone his name had just came out with from your pretty lips. Wanting more of it, he did it again, going back to your mouth right in time to muffle the moan that had just escaped your mouth, as you could not be anything other than grateful at the fact he had decided to wear a pair of dark joggers that particular day, allowing you to feel his stiff member with little to no restraints.
With one hand holding onto your hip and his other one making its way back inside your hoodie and up to your breasts, he cupped one of them — his thumb giving attention to your nipple by making circular motions over the thin fabric of your bra and having you bite your bottom lip to hold back a moan.
Losing yourself into his pleasant touch, you rested your hands over his back, wrapping your legs tight around his waist, pulling his hips once more into your center. A satisfied smile curved up your lips at the way he had to let go of your mouth and buried his face in the crook of your neck to muffle the quite loud moan that had just escaped his lips — thrusting into you one more time just as you rolled your hips up to meet him there.
Breathing heavily at the ongoing friction, you let your hands travel down to the waistband of his joggers so you could pull them down and feel him up.
And although for just a second, you felt his lips abandon the spot they had been teasing on your neck — an almost inaudible gasp escaping his mouth as his body tensed up.
That was all you needed to stop.
“What happened?” you worried.
“Nothing” he was quick to try and brush it off, going back to pepper wet kisses to your neck.
“No, Guk” you lightly pushed him off you, cupping his face in your hands so he had no choice but to look at you. “If you don’t want t—”
“I want to” he stated before you could even finish your sentence.
Fuck, he wanted to.
“Then?”
Jeongguk sighed in defeat, managing to break free from your hold and letting his forehead fall to your shoulder. “It’s embarrassing…”
Your eyebrows furrowed, not understanding where he was trying to go with this at all. “You can trust me”.
He took in a deep breath. He knew he could trust you. He knew you would never make fun of him for such a thing. However, to him, his lack of experience, especially since you did have some of it, could only be something he felt insecure about.
“Bun…” you tried to reassure him, wrapping your arms around him and planting kiss after kiss to the side of his head.
“I’ve never…” his voice came out muffled as he spoke against your shoulder, making it harder for you to hear.
“What?”
“I’ve never had...” he spoke louder this time. “You know…”
He found delusional how hard it was for him to admit it. He had never really minded, to be honest. Whenever his friends teased him because of it he would just brush it off. It wasn’t that he was not interested in having sex, he was a young man with many needs after all. And it wasn’t that he didn’t feel ready either —or well, that until that evening, because it was fair to say he was freaking out now that it was you the one he was about to be with—. It was just that no one had ever caught his attention the way you had. There was never someone he felt the need to have this kind of intimacy with, until you.
That’s why, unlike with his friends, he did mind when it came to you. It was hard for him to admit it to you because, although he knew you’d understand, you could always be disappointed at his lack of experience, and it was precisely not being good enough for you what worried him the most, what had made him hesitate before.
“You’ve never… had sex?” you softly finished for him.
He nodded shamefully, and for a good couple of seconds you couldn’t believe him. Yes, he had told you once he had never been on a date, but dates are different than sex. For starters, you didn’t need to really talk during sex, which was what you knew troubled him the most about dates and just meeting people in general. Besides, with a guy as handsome as Jeongguk, you had been positive he must’ve been with someone at least once.
However, opposite to the disappointed reaction he thought you would have, he found himself relaxing under your touch when you pressed a kiss to his head.
“Gotta say I can’t believe and am kinda disappointed that no one ever tried to jump your bones before” your bold words had him laughing in a second, pinching one of your sides to call you out on them. “Seriously, bun. I mean, look at you!”
“Shut up” he mumbled, feeling his cheeks burn in embarrassment.
You chuckled, gently shoving his face with your shoulder to let him know you wanted him to look at you, making him feel at ease just by seeing the smile on your lips once he did as told. “It’s okay”.
“It is?” his voice came out uncertain.
You nodded, cupping his face. “Of course it is. I’ll wait for as long as you want me to”.
“But I want to” he pointed out embarrassingly fast, earning a light laugh from you.
“Then I’ll just wait until the moment’s right and you feel like going through with it without hesitating” you kissed his pink lips briefly — as if on cue, your heads snapping to the next room after hearing Namjoon drop something and cursing at it. “And until we’re alone and won’t risk being heard by our roommates, maybe”.
Jeongguk laughed at your last addition, leaning in to peck your lips three times. “I like the sound of that” he smiled, only for it to be erased when his eyes instinctively went down to the problem he had just been left with inside his pants. “I should probably, um…”
Your eyes followed his as they glanced down to his still hardened length. You had been too caught up on kissing him before to pay attention to it. But now, watching the outline of his erection poking through his sweatpants, you found yourself wanting more of him all over again.
“I can help you with that if you want” you couldn’t stop the words from coming out of your mouth, having his attentive eyes lock with yours in a second. “We don’t need to have sex for that”.
Jeongguk licked his lips, deep in thought over something he already knew the answer to. “Don’t feel like you have to...”
“I want to” you stated.
Simple as that, he found himself nodding — your determined eyes being the last push he needed to let go of the shyness he had suddenly been filled with and just give in to what he wanted, to what he needed.
With a smile curving up your lips, you gently stole a kiss from his mouth, sweetly pecking it a couple of times before you finally sucked on his bottom lip — a muffled moan coming out of his mouth when you gave it a teasing bite right as your hand palmed him over his pants.
“You have to be quiet” you reminded him with a light laugh. And for a second there you were kinda glad it wasn’t you the one on the receiving side, for you weren’t sure you’d be able to keep it down either at all.
Not being able to say anything in reply, he just nodded — a pretty eager nod that seemed more like one to move on from the topic already than one of agreement. Nevertheless, you had no intentions of stopping, (un)luckily for him.
Pressing another kiss to his swollen lips, you fidgeted with the waistband of his joggers just like you had intended to before. This time, he didn’t tense up, and you took that as your green light before you dug your hand in them.
“M—Fuck” he mewled when you took a hold of his cock, burying his face in the crook of your neck as you guided it out of his clothes.
Letting go of it for a second, you helped him on his back so you could sit up into a more comfortable position before wrapping your hand around it again, and right then you could’ve sworn you would never get tired of the pretty sounds that escaped his lips every time you touched him.
Gently, as you were just then discovering what it was he enjoyed the most, you started giving him a few pumps, trying to find the right pace for him and his needs.
“Baby, fuck” he breathed out, leaning his head deeper againt the pillow as he looked for some kind of support.
And it was the way he faintly thrusted his hips up into your hand, what let you know he was craving more. Not having to think twice, you sped up the pace of the way your hand moved up and down his length, tightening your hold on it just a little bit more.
“Mm… Just like that,” he let you know softly, as if suddenly remembering about the whole being-quiet-thing. “Just like that”.
“Feels good?” you wondered, enjoying the view of his furrowed eyebrows and closed eyes as he gave in to your touch.
“So good” he agreed.
Licking your lips, you stared down at his hard cock in your hand, giving it one last pump before your thumb slowly spread his precum over its tip.
“You alright with just my hand?” you asked and he was nodding before you could finish the question, which made you wonder if he had even heard it at all or was immersed enough in his own pleasure to agree to anything. “Or would you enjoy my mouth being wrapped around you better?”
His eyes opened as soon as the word ‘mouth’ was on the table, studying your face for a couple of seconds to make sure you were not playing with him in his vulnerable state. At the sight of your lustful eyes on him, however, he knew you were indeed very serious. And he’d be damned if he ever turned down such an offer.
“I want your mouth” although determined, his voice came out shakily.
Nevertheless, you were willing to comply with his wishes.
Jeongguk was on the edge of losing it when he saw you smile and make your hair out of the way right before you leaned down, removing your thumb from the tip of his cock so you could replace it with your tongue instead — a hiss escaping his mouth when you licked the traces of the precum you had just spreaded over it.
Giving him two small pumps, you allowed yourself to take him in your mouth; far from being able to take his entire length, yet enough for his body to tremble out of utter pleasure.
“Y/N…” he whimpered, fingers entangling in your hair as he desperately tried to control the overwhelming pleasure your wet mouth and tight lips wrapped around his cock were giving him.
Not once had he ever felt this good before, both your hand and mouth taking him places his hand alone could’ve never taken him to. And he was afraid he would come in your mouth anytime by then.
Pulling it out of your mouth, you threw him a small glance before you carried on — your tongue tracing all the way from the base to the tip, hearing him moan when you took him in your mouth a second time.
“Fuck, baby, you—ah,” he moaned when you swirled your tongue over his tip. “You feel so good”.
Enjoying way too much being the reason behind how good he was feeling, you decided to do him a favour and push him closer to his release for once and for all.
Slightly tightening your hold on him, you started once again moving your hand up and down his length, switching between the ministrations both your hand and mouth were applying on it, and knowing you were driving him over the edge when his hold on your hair tightened and his body trembled ever so slightly.
“Y/N…” he panted. “F-Fuck, I’m—”
His words were cut off by the heavy breath he had to take when you gave him one last particular pump, trying his best to hold on. Noticing that, you gave one of his thighs a squeeze to let him know it was okay for him to let go. And he was so desperate to reach his high right then, that your small gesture alone was all he needed to do so.
Closing his eyes, he found himself having to cover his mouth with his arm not to be too loud when his orgasm hit, feeling his warm release spreading into your mouth. Moving his hand up to cover his eyes as he came down from his high, letting himself get lost in the aftershocks of it, he missed the way you tasted his release in your mouth.
Cleaning the small stains of it left on the tip of his member, you adjusted it back inside his pants and went to lie down next to him, smiling adoringly at the way his chest moved up and down as he tried to catch his breath and tenderly removing his arm from his face, having his eyes find yours in a second.
“Was that okay?” you asked, softly removing a few strands of hair that had gotten stuck to his slightly sweaty forehead.
Jeongguk smiled incredulously, gently running his fingers through your hair to try and fix the mess he had made on it. “You even have to ask?”
And somehow that was all you needed to hear for the heat to reach your face, suddenly feeling shy at what you had just done.
Catching up on that, he pulled you into his arms, pressing a couple of kisses to your cheek before moving them to your mouth, where they remained for a little longer.
“You’re amazing” he said truthfully — the way he had said it, letting you know he did not just mean it when it came to sucking him off.
You smiled wholeheartedly. “Yah, don’t” your eyes focused somewhere else, feeling your face burn.
Jeongguk smiled sweetly, managing to draw your attention back to him by ever so tenderly caressing your cheek. Fuck, he loved you. And right then, with your eyes looking at him in a way he thought they had never when you were just friends, although unspoken, delusional even, he really felt like maybe you felt the same, too.
Tilting your face up just enough, he connected his lips with yours for what felt like the hundredth time that evening. “I’ll be good to you, too”.
You chuckled, loving the idea of it and kissing him briefly to let him know you did. You knew he would.
“When we’re alone, though. I won’t have Joon hear from me what he probably just heard from you”.
Jeongguk laughed, deciding to say nothing and instead pull you tightly into his chest and rest his chin on your head. And although he knew he might never hear the end of it from his friends, for once, he did not care what the rest had to either think or say.

8th Member All Grown Up - DC Reaction
JiU/Minji
Seeing you everyday had become the norm and she never saw you more than just the little baby of the group. She helped raise you with the rest of your members and you were just this little kid to them. It wasn’t until she was watching you film one of your solo shots for the upcoming comeback. You had worn the matching clothes for Boca and you were really commanding of the camera. She was shocked to see such an aura escape you as you continued on with your part.
“When did she grow up?! She’s just a baby!”
SuA/Bora
Bora had spent most of her days making sure you were completely taken care of. Helping you with homework, cleaning your clothes and making sure you were well fed all the time while you were in school. You saw her as an older sister but sometimes you saw her as a mom and addressed her as such in a joking manner. It wasn’t until you were in the middle of filming a special solo video that she had seen how much you had grown up. You were singing in the small room, singing a love song causing Bora to see you as a much more mature and grown adult rather than the little kid she had raised.
“I used to make her dino nuggets and watch her only eat the heads off of them. What happened?”
Siyeon
She had helped raise you just like the other older girls had. Except she was much more fun than the older girls. She was the one you ran to when you wanted to have fun and the first person you ran to when you were having a bad day. She had trained with you cause you to have a stronger relationship with her and she cherished you just like a sister would. You were in the middle of recording a dance cover with Sooyeon that you barely noticed Siyeon walking in to check on you. She was shocked to see you dancing to Sunmi’s Tail without any kind of awkward emotion. She was happy that you were trying something new, but also a little nervous that you were growing up just a bit too fast.
“Maybe you should just go back to singing and dancing cute covers like before.... You’re still too young for something like this.”
Handong
She had always seen you as a child and especially when you had whined about your stuffed raccoon going missing for over four hours. She was always joking with you that you were a baby (even if you had outgrown her two years ago). You were busy filming your part for BEcause and only some of your members had been watching. Handong watched you carefully, amused with how well you had been holding up. Maintaining the exact feelings and facial expressions that were needed for the music video.
“She’s growing up so fast right now I’m kind of scared what she’ll do next.”
Yoohyeon
From the second you had debuted with them, you had been Yoohyeon’s favorite. She would dote on you and make sure you were always taken care of. She would game with you and pull all nighters with you when it came to your homework or to just pass a level in a game both of you had been playing together. She had always seen you as this little baby and would continue to dote on you until she saw you filming your concert stage which had doubled as your coming of age ceremony. Her eyes were wide when she saw your newly found stage presence, causing her to scream and look away.
“She’s just a baby! She can’t just do this!”
Dami/Yubin
She had silently taken care of you, allowing you to vent to her and be with her when you were feeling down or stressed. She had watched you grow up and made sure you were always well taken care of when the older girls were too tired from intense schedules. She was busy reading her book when she heard her members scream, causing her to look up. She watched you dance and sing effortlessly to Chungha’s Bicycle for tiktok. Her eyes never left while she watched, slowly realizing you weren’t the little baby anymore.
“She’s an adult now.... Why is she an adult?”
Gahyeon
You were both born in the same year, but you were born laer in the year rather than earlier. She would use this against you constantly to get her way, but she still loved taking care of you. (And tease you but Bora said she couldn’t do that without an apology). When you had voiced your opinion about wanting to be more adult like, she had fully backed you and was the sole reason for your little stage during your most recent concert. She smiled while watching you perform the more mature song, hearing her members screaming at your actions.
“I did that! I helped her not be a baby!”

By Your Side
Idol: Handong (Dreamcatcher)
Life as an idol always brought pressure to their lives. It was just a matter of communication for them to keep going.
A/n: Dongie i love you and i wish you nothing but good things
☕buy me a coffee☕
Everyone was understandably exhausted when you looked around the room. Right after promotions, your schedule had been packed with interviews and various appearances, that it was a little surprising. Yet to see the gradual rise in Dreamcatcher’s fame was more than worth the exhaustion.
Your days had been filled with practices, both for the concert and for Kcon. Your energy was slowly depleting with how many hours you would spend at the company, just to get everything right, down to the last note and pose.
The girls were a little worried whenever you came home, drenched in sweat and exhausted that you barely had the energy to move, but thankfully you made sure not to neglect your health and joined them to eat whenever you could.
“I think you should take a break.” A soft voice tells you, and you don’t need to look when Handong’s reflection stares at you from the mirror of the practice room. “I’m okay, I’ll be done in a bit.” You answered while stretching your legs, but your girlfriend pursed her lips at your answer as she stepped closer, placing her hand on your back and pulling your attention back on her.
“Y/n, I know that we have to practice, but you don’t have to do this every day. At this rate, you’re going to get yourself hurt.” She said worriedly while gently squeezing your shoulder and you pause what you were doing to look at her, smiling as you reach for her hand and press a kiss to her fingertips. “I’ll be okay. It’s just a bit of practice. Plus, Sooyeon unnie said that there’s always room for improvement.” You explained, yet that didn’t seem to satisfy the slightly older woman as she crouched down.
With a small tug on your hand, she asks for you to be facing her, one you instantly comply with, before she’s settling herself between your legs and wrapping her arms around your waist. The action surprised you, drawing a laugh from your lips as your girlfriend made herself comfortable, smiling when she felt the vibrations of your laugh as she rested her head against your chest.
“Dongie, I need to practice.” You try, yet you make no moves on pushing her away. “You need to rest.” She argues, looking up at you with a pout. “You can practice while I’m gone to do my birthday live.” She negotiates and with the way she was looking, it was impossible for you to say no.
So in the end, you were both cuddling in one corner of the room as your members began to arrive, all of them looking a bit relieved to see that you weren’t pushing yourself past more than what you could handle. They each shot your girlfriend a smile before proceeding to start with their own stretching whilst Handong did her best to keep you comfortable.
When you’re all done and ready to practice together, Handong comes bouncing into the room with Bora at her tail, grinning as she holds the decent sized cotton candy. “Look what I have!” The dancer grinned while waving the sweet up in the air and Gahyeon laughed at the pout on her roommate’s face. “I’m never making cotton candy again.” She sighed before looking around the room for you.
Her search doesn’t last too long because Minji was already gesturing to your hunched over form with Yubin fanning your face and Siyeon quietly talking to you. The worry on their faces was clear enough for your girlfriend as she faced the leader.
“She’s okay, just a little tired.” Minji sighs, crossing her arms across her chest. “Even Sooyeon unnie told her to take a break.” Yoohyeon muttered while tying her hair up. “I think we should really get some food into her system before we head home.” She adds.
“Real food though, not convenience store food or instant noodles.” Gahyeon added with a huff. Since you’ve all been out so late, no one’s had the time or energy to cook. And as much as Bora tries, most of you are already passed out by the time she’s done cooking, having settled for whatever was easiest to cook.
“Let’s go home for tonight.”
..
On the day of the concert, you’re more than ready to perform. Since you didn’t really have to dance for the first night, you were a little relieved that you could just sit down and catch your breath.
Of course, that didn’t really stop your girlfriend from doting you. Since she’s gotten so used to seeing you worn out at home, she couldn’t help but check on you when she could. And maybe it was the exhaustion, but you really didn’t mean to snap at her or seem ungrateful.
“I’m fine, Handong, seriously.” You groaned when you fixed your in-ears. “I just think you should-”
“I said I’m fine.” You grunted, scowling as you grabbed your things and your girlfriend shuts her mouth, watching you as you left the dressing room and Gahyeon looked worriedly to her friend before lightly patting her arm. “I’m sure she didn’t mean it, unnie.” She tried to assure, and as much as Handong wanted to let it go, she’ll admit that it hurt.
She just wanted to help you.
As the concert went on, neither of you made it apparent that you’ve had an argument off stage. And even though the girls could sense the tension between you, they made sure to keep it subtle as they took charge of the concert, keeping the atmosphere light where they initiated the conversation with both of you just so it wouldn’t seem too forced.
Whenever you all had to sit on the couch, you were a little relieved that Yubin was the one closest to you and that it wouldn’t be off for people to see you not interacting with her.
Though at that point, you were already feeling guilty for being angry with her in the first place. You understood why she was so worried and she was only trying to take care of you. Had it been anyone else, they would have done the same thing she did now that you looked at it.
And it was her birthday, today.
God, just what kind of girlfriend were you?
Glancing at the Chinese woman, you smile when you see her messing around with the maknae, and when you look back, Yubin was already smiling at you, almost a silent message that you quickly understand from your roommate.
When you have to go backstage to change your clothes, you quietly slip past everyone and head to your corner before your stylist goes to retouch your makeup. And with how busy everyone else is, neither you nor your girlfriend have the chance to talk. Though, she does steal glances at you through the mirror to see how you were coping.
A yawn passes your lips, and right as you attempt to rub your eyes, your stylist stops you with a hand to your wrist before lowering it. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you, Y/n.” She warns and you pout before nodding your head. “The concert is almost over, so just hang in there.” She says encouragingly while Yoohyeon hands you a cup of water.
While waiting for everyone to finish, you decide to head for the stage first, thinking it’d be best to give everyone more space to move around.
You flash your members a small grin as you head for the door, and pass behind your girlfriend. She doesn’t see you when you’re near, but she feels the small squeeze to her hand as you pass before she’s turning around, only to catch a glimpse of your back as you exit the room.
When she looks back, Siyeon is already grinning at her. “You guys will be fine.”
And while Handong knows that, she couldn’t help but sulk when you still wouldn’t meet her eyes or come near her throughout the concert. It was as though you were deliberately trying to avoid her, and it confused her to no end just what exactly was going through your head.
Though she really should have known by now. After four years of friendship, and two years dating, she should have known that you wouldn’t just let the argument pass without letting her know just how sorry you were.
So by the time she started to hear everyone’s personal messages for her, she had held her breath as she waited for your voice because even when she was able to keep her tears at bay with the other’s messages, she’s not sure if she would be able to keep her cool by the time you spoke.
You were the only one who could bring it out of her.
And everyone knew that, which was why they decided to have you speak last.
“Dongie!” You smile at the camera, waving as you try to keep your voice low. “First of all, happiest birthday to the love of my life.” The girls snicker behind the camera and Handong had to stop herself from smiling as she heard them. “We missed a lot of time together the past year, but we have many more to make up for it.” You say with a tiny smile. “When you left for the survival show, I have to admit that I was a bit scared because I thought that the time away might have changed our relationship, but I was so happy when you finally came home to us.”
You look as your manager gestures for you to wrap up and you flash your best smile. “I’ll keep taking care of you, just stay with me forever, okay? I love you, and happy birthday.”
Hearing the sincerity in your tone and finally seeing you come to join her made your girlfriend’s eyes glossy with unshed tears, and you smile at her as you gather together on stage, adjusting your shirt.
But right as the cameras started to roll again, you were all surprised to hear another message coming through your in-ears, and you had to pause whilst Handong looked even more shocked than everyone as her mother’s voice greeted your ears.
Listening to her message seemed to be the final push for Handong to finally burst into tears and your members did the same as you listened. As hard as she tried to cover her face, Handong listened to her mother’s message while trying to control her crying, biting her cheek just to hold back a sob and you hurry to grab a tissue to wipe her tears away.
When you meet each other’s eyes, you had offered her a soft smile while lightly wiping away her tears despite the continuous downpour. Seeing as you tried to fight back tears of your own only pushed her to cry harder before you moved to take her into your arms and let her cling to you as you continued to listen to the rest of her parents’ message.
..
“Mind if I come in?”
Gahyeon looked up when you lightly knocked on their door and a smile bloomed across her face before n she nodded her head. “Of course, unnie! I was just about to use the bathroom.” The maknae lied, sending her roommate a little smile before she hopped out of the room, shooting you a wide smile as she did, making you chuckle at her antics.
“She’s cheeky.” Handong comments as she brushes her hair and you offer to take over when you extend your hand out. Silently, she gives you the brush before you sit behind her. “Well, she cares for both of us. It makes sense.” You mutter when you begin brushing through the long strands of gold, carefully taking out the little bits of glitter left on her head the best you could.
“It’s not usual for us to be fighting, so she’s worried.”
You hum at her words and the silence stretches. While you try to think of what to say, Handong is still thinking about the events of the evening and she can’t help the way her eyes tear up again because right after the concert, she had received a message from both her parents, wishing her a happy birthday once more.
You don’t realize that she’s crying until the quiet sniffles eventually grow audible enough for you to hear. Setting the brush down, you carefully turn your girlfriend around until you’re facing each other and you can see her slightly reddened eyes.
You’re careful when you let your thumbs gently run under her eyes before pressing a kiss on her eyelids. Pulling her to your lap, you press another kiss to her temple this time before letting out a soft breath. “I’m sorry for snapping at you earlier. I was tired, but I shouldn’t have taken it out on you.” You apologize and even when she tries to disagree, you’re already shushing her.
“It was wrong. Even if you try to tell me otherwise, I shouldn’t have gotten upset when all you were trying to do was make sure that I was fine.” You say with a frown that it makes your girlfriend cringe before bursting into laughter. “Don’t do that, it’s not cute!” She teases and you crinkle your nose before joining her in laughing.
“I’m trying to apologize! Come on!”
You both burst into fits of giggles and Handong feels much better now that you were able to get whatever weight you had off your chest.
Her hand lands on your cheek when you both calm down. Her heart felt full and there was honestly nothing else she thought could make this an even better birthday than it already was. She was able to spend the day with her second family, InSomnias, and then received the surprise message from her parents.
And most of all, she was happy to just have you by her side, even after she had left for China.
“I love you.” She whispers and she sees as your expression softens before you place a kiss against the palm of her hand. “I love you, too.” You tell her right before she’s tugging you closer and you meet her halfway, pressing a tender kiss against her lips.
And honestly, what was a better way to end a perfect night?

I thought that, because we get Sunoh saying Mr. Yang killed his father to make him lonely and get his trust and then Mr. Do taught him to do the same with Yohan, and with Yohan saying he saw both himself and Sooyeon in Sunoh, MAYBE that was some foreshadow about them.
Soyeon and Yohan are, towards each other, different versions of Sunoh. Yohan is Sunoh in his relationship with Mr. Yang, while Sooyeon is what Mr. Do made of Sunoh towards Yohan.
I mean, she told us very early on the show that she was neither good nor bad, only a businesswoman, and Yohan is truly lonely now: Nam Daemun only follows money, attorney Koo follows shinsandong, prosecutor Mok has abandoned him, Hong Jaesun betrayed him very early on, he was never anything to Mr. Do, his grandma is dead, Minho died in front of his eyes and now Sunoh.
Yohan thought Sunoh was at a hospital, but behind his back attorney Koo left him in a place where Dir. Yang would find him, knowing what would happen once he was found. So it'd make sense to think that Sooyeon is making Yohan lonely so he'd depend on her and she can use him properly.
But the things she says on the preview? "Even if Yohan dies it will be on my way" and "I'm thinking of abandoning Yohan and taking his place"? Nah, this sounds like a swerve, no way they'd show us this if she was actually going to betray him. Also, after attorney Koo tells Yohan to forget his revenge, why would she, who's doing everything for her revenge, want to be in that position? I just think that preview is bullshit and if so, unless they doing a double swerve, Sooyeon feeling so suspicious is either some huge secret yet to be revealed or a writing problem.
#Or maybe it's just me seeing how everyone is at least morally grey in this show but she's coded weirdly way too white#See I have many thoughts but none of them are useful#lily watches recordings of acting#jtbc insider#kdrama#text post#This is more of a lily rambles post but I jsut finished the ep soooo

Sooyeon sighed as she slid into the car. Always the observant one, Johnny shot his younger friend a worried glance as he started the engine.
“What’s with the heavy sighing?” he asked, shifting the car into drive.
“I just…I don’t know?” The confused lilt in Sooyeon’s voice stopped her best friend from interrupting. The girl clearly had something to let out and he was going to give her the space to do so. That was how it always was during these deep car talks. Sooyeon would talk and Johnny, being the great older brother figure he was, would listen.
“I’m definitely happier than before. I’m satisfied with where I’m at. A lot healthier, in a major that I actually enjoy compared to last year. I’ve worked on myself for the past year and I like who I am now. I have a great group of friends—”
This time, Johnny couldn’t help but say something to lighten the mood. He smirked and said, “Yeah, I am pretty great, aren’t I?”
Sooyeon playfully shoved him in reply.
“I’m sensing a ‘but’ in that sentence, though.” And just like that, the driver pulled her back into the serious conversation they were having.
“Yeah.” She ran her fingers through her long brown hair while trying to gather her thoughts. Glancing at the person beside him, Johnny caught his friend nibbling her lip and playing with the ends of her long hair. Sooyeon always did that when she was deep in thought or something was bothering her in some way. He guessed this was deeper than their group of friends thought it was.
And that bothered him.
As a true friend, Johnny wanted Sooyeon to be comfortable with them. To be happy in their company. But lately, the happiness he noticed was fading. There was something preoccupying Sooyeon’s pretty little head. He needed to get to the bottom of it so he could help her in any way that he could.
The oldest of the group always doted on Sooyeon and both of them knew it to be true. There was no denying it. However, there was never a hint of romance behind that doting. It was similar to an older sibling choosing his favorite younger sibling and putting extra care to make sure they turned out alright.
Johnny Suh, the caring man everyone always knew him to be, just wanted Kim Sooyeon to be okay.
“I don’t know. Seeing Mina and Mark sometimes makes me miss having a partner. It’s weird, like, really weird. At times, I wish I had someone to share this happiness with. It gets me in a mood and I know how to pull myself out of it.”
It meaning ‘dating.’
She knew it. She was sure Johnny knew it too by the way he hummed in response. But that was all he did. Hum with no other words to say. Johnny’s silence allowed Sooyeon to continue on with her rambles.
“But I’m scared of putting myself out there. Sehun—I know he was your friend but he hurt me pretty badly. I don’t think I could trust anyone with my heart again.”
The girl fiddled with the rings on her thin fingers anxiously—the topic of her past relationship was something she truly hated talking about. If she could even call it that to begin with. Maybe situationship was a better word for it.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to put myself out there again. I’ve tried once or twice and it always ended up with me backing out because I got into my own head.”
Johnny called her name and she shook her head, trying to stop the pity from slipping out of his mouth. She didn’t want it. She didn’t need it, either.
“Munchkin,” the driver tried again with that nickname of his that made her break down the walls she tried so hard to keep up.
Sooyeon let out a bitter chuckle in return. “Am I just going to be someone’s plaything for the rest of my life? Because that’s what happened with the past two guys? Or are my standards just too high that I can’t meet a person to match them?”
“Munch, you need to stop doing that,” Johnny warned, his voice growing sharper with each word. The upset dad voice was starting to surface. That’s how their group of friends knew he really cared, when that tone of voice would appear. “You know that’s not true.”
Sending him a hint of a smile, Sooyeon was glad she had someone like Johnny as a close friend. He may be a goofball at times but the man always knew what to say when one needed it the most.
“Look, the guys you met in the past? They were trash, including Sehun. But that shouldn’t stop you from putting yourself out there! And who knows, maybe you’ll find someone when you least expect it,” he reassured the girl on the passenger side, a warm grin gracing his full lips.
Eyes still training on her friend, Sooyeon wondered why she couldn’t fall for a guy like him or Mark. Why did she waste her precious time with assholes?
Johnny turned into the parking lot of the shopping center, startling the passenger out of her deep thoughts. She was so invested so into voicing what was shaking her up, Sooyeon hadn’t realized that they reached the bakery.
Getting out of the vehicle, they both grabbed their cell phones and wallets. Johnny came around to shut the door for her, a little thing he always did that made Sooyeon, and any girl for that matter, smile. Gathering his smaller friend in his arms, Johnny gave her a comforting hug. “Hey, Munch?”
“Hmm?” she hummed, inwardly groaning at the long line of customers waiting to get their treats as they entered the bakery.
“What would you consider boyfriend material anyway?” Johnny questioned. Sooyeon gave him a weird look to which he shrugged in return. “Just curious. I mean you already know my type.”
“Ummmm,” she had to take a moment to actually think about it. Johnny smiled at you patiently, waiting for your answer, “A guy who’s incredibly sweet and has no problem making me laugh. Caring. Has the same interests as me? Music, movies, whatever; so we have something to talk about, you know? Or at least, understands and listens when I talk about something I’m passionate about—”
Sooyeon started to run off at the mouth as the line moved up. Again, Johnny did nothing but listen. As she listed the traits she looked for, he was mentally making a list of them and filing through his friends to see if anyone fit the bill.
“—Speaking of passion! They have to be passionate about their goals! And respectful of boundaries. Patient. And I don’t know—someone who’ll do cheesy things with me like dance around in the kitchen?”
Noticing that she was starting to drift into a rant, Sooyeon stopped herself with a sheepish smile. Almost embarrassed that she going on without end, the girl began to fiddle with her fingers again. “I’m rambling, aren’t I?”
“You’re fine, Munchkin. And those really aren’t high standards at all. A bit cheesy though, but it fits you. I can see you dating someone like that,” he reassured her with a ruffle to her neat hair. She squeaked at the sudden action and failed to slap Johnny’s large hands away from her head. A grumble left Sooyeon’s lips as she used the glass windows as a mirror to fix her appearance.
Completely fits someone I know, Johnny thought to himself.
They stepped forward in line. Squinting at the menu plastered on the wall, Sooyeon skimmed through it and jokingly asked, “You’re just saying that cuz you’re practically my brother. Know anyone that fits my ideal type though?”
“Maybe, why? Want me to set you up?” her tall friend teased. “I might have a couple of friends who fit the type.”
“Oh yeah, totally interested if you could actually find someone. Highly doubt it though,” Sooyeon shot back, sarcasm dripping from her words.
“Eh, I wouldn’t be too sure about that,” Johnny said with a knowing grin. Shooting him a confused look, Sooyeon tried to figure out what that meant. The boy just shrugged his shoulders, revealing nothing else.
Then, there was this sudden need to relieve herself Glancing at how many people were in front of them, there was still a bit of time before their party reached the front. “I’ll be right back, I’m gonna run to the restroom real quick. You already know what I want, right? Just in case?”
Johnny nodded, waving his friend in the direction of the bathroom. As soon as she was out of sight, her friend pulled out his phone to a string of texts from Sejeong, Mina, and Mark in a new group chat that for some reason, didn’t include Sooyeon. He skimmed through it and chuckled—what amazing timing.
