NAIDA, WILLOW.

Fairies; usually dismissed as folklore – mere myth – yet children believe in them so easily. They are, in fact, real. They live in a special place called the Garden, with each type of fairy living their own perfect life (usually only coming up onto the surface when summoned). Their brilliance usually helped them outsmart humans, but are these two fairies smart enough to be able to outsmart their enemies?

NAIDA. THE FAIRY OF WATER.

Goes hand in hand with the moon, Naida was given many abilities. Naida was born with the ability of being one with the water. Just like water, her appearance is fluid, ever-changing. She was granted two forms. The one she retains to blend in with the people around her, and the one she transforms into when no one is looking. Don’t mistake her fiery aura for something else; Naida is calm and gentle like the waves crashing on the shore.

Unless you have angered her. Her sole purpose is to protect. Protect the waters she lives in. Protect her kind, her people, her reality, her realm. Once that line has been crossed, there’s no going back. People have said her fury is reminiscent of a ship being tossed about on a stormy sea. What would happen when someone tests her patience? What would happen if they went too far? What would happen if you lay a finger on the treasure she worked so hard to protect?

WILLOW. THE FAIRY OF THE WISPS.

Light and as free as a feather, Willow is in accord with the spirits of the forests: The Wisp. He acts as their guardian, keeping them in check. Yet, he’s always dreamed of living in the outside world despite knowing the security of the Garden all his life. Just like his mischievous nature to lead strangers astray for fun.

Knowing nothing but the forests of the Garden, being put out in a new world for Willow is terrifying. With no one but Naida to guide him, will the Will o’ the Wisps be able to help him in his future endeavors? Or will they abandon him to be torn down and broken by the modern world?

RAVYN, SHADOW.

Legends of beings born with powerful parent. Half-bloods. Each demigod born with a set of abilities similar to their Godly parent. Each with a background and personality so unique, yet a fate so tragic.

RAVYN. CHILD OF HADES.

Ravyn, being born as a child of one of the Big Three, has gained quite a reputation. With her many talents, she could easily be the most powerful out of all of them. She can sense people’s life auras, making her very useful in battle. She is a powerful necromancer but prefers to not mess with that ability often as it can have its setbacks. This girl also possesses minor skills such as umbra kinesis, geokinesis and pyrokinesis.

The half-blood that resides over the riches under the earth, with a demeanor as mysterious as the shadows that lurk in the underworld. Hyeran was gifted the blessings and curses of the King of that watched over the dead, an honor with the powers bestowed to her. Alas, her power was what fueled her fear. Her power as leader was nowhere as close to the mishaps that could arise from the powers that she couldn't fully control. Would her doubts snuff the potential that resides in her, or will she be the one that births the downfall of the ten?

SHADOW. CHILD OF MORPHEUS.

Shadow. A fitting name for one that revels in the darkness of the subconscious. A mysterious spirit that loves to tamper with your thoughts and dreams. With all his powers connected to the dream realm, Shadow is not often considered the magically strongest out of all of them. Yet, his powers are more practical them they all believe them to be.

The boy with a feather for a heart. An angel, one could argue, with the sheer amount of kindness he holds. Doyun was someone who could manipulate his power to serve for the comfort of others. With a voice like the magic of dreams, Doyun is the member who uplifts the other nine, like an advocate of hope in a nightmarish state. But if he is asked about his own self, he simply wouldn’t know the answer as he does not hold the key to his own happiness.

— the witches.

AKI, AMARIS, CALIX.

The three witches. Each with a special ability that would make them three of the most powerful witches in the area. They have a bond so strong that would get them to where they need to go. To each other. After many lifetimes on this Earth, will they finally succeed in their mission?

AKI. THE WITCH OF CRYSTALS.

Born with special powers of divination, Aki is gifted with the power to see alternate realities. Her jade-like aura and elegant features draw people to her. Between the three she is affiliated with crystals, using them for her incantations and healing. Aki is also skilled in using tarot cards to be able to tell the future and unlock a person’s past. She is quite proud of this ability as she is the only witch out of the three with the capability to do so. The cards trust her and she trusts the cards.

Of course, being so powerful, this comes with a cost. She can see her own alternate realities. This usually makes her unhappy as even though she could have all that she wanted; she wanted the life her alternate selves are living. A normal life. One that isn’t filled with much regret and hiding.

AMARIS. THE WITCH OF THE MOON.

Her dark stare reminds others a lot of the night sky. When she is genuinely happy, you can see the stars sparkling in her eyes. You can feel the tides push and pull whenever she’s had enough. As the child of the moon, she believes that the moon directs her to wherever she needs to go. She is talented in directions and predictions, usually helping them with her strong intuition. Amaris also has an affinity for seeing visions.

Amaris usually gets visions of someone every time she goes to sleep. She’s lived on Earth for a few centuries now, travelling all over to find the identity of this mysterious person. After finally giving up to pursue a life where she isn’t moving around so often, will she give up everything she’s worked for when she finds out the identity of her missing puzzle piece?

CALIX. THE WITCH OF THE GARDEN.

Calix, gifted with the light of life. As gentle as the sway of leaves in a warm spring breeze. He has no intention to hurt. As the witch of the gardens, it is his duty to gather up all their needed equipment and requirements. He is usually tasked with the brewing of potions or help with healing. His strongest attribute is his cooperative nature which makes him easy to work with.

With not as much responsibility to bear on his shoulders as the other two, Calix is almost free to do what he wants. When he goes out to the gardens to gather more materials for the three of them in their spare time, he always sees someone across the street. Admittedly, he thinks this person is kind of cute. Will he sacrifice his bond with the girls to get a chance at an almost normal life?

Eunji poked her head through the door, seeing nothing but an empty hallway. She hasn’t been in the CEO’s office in a long time. This time, she’ll succeed. She’ll succeed in convincing him. She will not fail again. Eunji can’t bear that kind of weight alone.

The songwriter knocked thrice before entering. Mr. Bang invited her in, telling her to take a seat. Calm and collected, she walked in, doing exactly as he asked. Once he gave Eunji the signal to speak, she proposed her idea.

The ten trainees. The ten special trainees. She had to get them together and make them stick together. She just knew that they would need each other in the long run. Eunji had already spoken to Changji about this before - to which she was turned down. Eunji, however, was persistent. She will not walk away without getting what she wants.

“Mr. Bang, I would like to-”

“Eunji, if this is about that group of rascals again, I would rather you not speak of them.”

“But sir.” The hands resting on her lap started to get restless. They clenched and unclenched with every second, every word spoken. “I know that they can be chaotic but they mean well.”

“You brought them here in the first place. Why is that so? Did you know they would cause this much trouble for us in the company?” His tone grew more stern by the minute. If he was speaking like this to Eunji a few years ago, she would be trembling in her heels. She wouldn’t allow herself to this time. These trainees need her.

“Of course not, sir. I had no intention of ruining the company’s reputation. I just knew they were special and deserve to debut.”

“We have a whole other list of trainees that deserve to debut as much as they do, don’t you think?” Bang Changji rounded the table, looking the songwriter in the eye. "Cho Eunji, why are you persistent in debuting this particular group of trainees?" 

"They need each other to survive, sir," Eunji answered plainly, never faltering. Just as she always did.

"You mean in the industry?" The man raised an eyebrow at her. She might have revealed a bit too much. Eunji was just thankful he didn’t quite get it.

"....Yes."

"They can debut separately. In their own time- they can't even get along." Changji shook his head. The amount of ruckus the ten trainees caused on one particular occasion flashed once again in his mind. The amount of disappointment he felt that day was immeasurable. 

Eunji suddenly remembers the aftermath of a certain day in the practice room. The amount of repairs that had to be done in that single practice room. She’s still thankful no one was hurt by their rampage. Her hopeful eyes turn to look at the CEO who was awaiting her response.

"I know that, sir. But I believe that will change as long as they get to know each other enough."

The CEO let out a loud sigh, massaging his temples. “You know, if it weren’t for you, those trainees would probably be long gone by now.” She averts her gaze. “I can see the talent you see in them and the potential they have is immense but the chaos they bring can tarnish our reputation as a company.”

Silence echoed in the grey, bleak room. By this point, Eunji can’t tell if he would grant her wish. It’s been a while since she felt her hands sweat and her words get stuck in her throat. The last time she remembered feeling this way was when she was a young child at camp.

“Alright. Fine.” Eunji’s round eyes stared in astonishment. “I’ll work something out with the rest of the board.”

The songwriter nearly jumped for joy in front of him. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She bowed and repeated the words like a mantra. 

“On one condition, Miss Cho.”

“Anything!”

“You will personally assist them in their endeavors. They are now under your care.”

“Yes, of course, Mr. Bang,” she grinned, the corners of her lips reaching her eyes. “Thank you so much for this opportunity.”

Eunji quickly rushed out of the office, struggling to contain her excitement. She could feel the electricity in her fingertips. This will be the beginning.

This is step one.

— the warlock.

HECATUS.

The one lone warlock in the midst of all the other mythical beings. No one to turn to, no one to lean on. Yet, is faced with a big destiny. This young child must learn quickly. Their fate rests on him.

HECATUS. CHILD OF LILITH.

He is yet to learn all that he is capable of. Being so new to the magical world, he still has to get a grip on what he is and is not able to do. He knows a lot of it in theory already, being taught by some of the most powerful witches he knows: Aki, Amaris and Calix. So far, he’s discovered a talent for pyrokinesis as well as being able to change certain features of himself (only minor, unnoticeable ones). Hecatus is certainly powerful, he just needs to tap in to that potential and learn all that he can.

If you ask Hecatus himself, he doesn’t think he is special. Born and raised as a regular boy with only a dream to become a star, he suddenly finds himself in the midst of magical beings. The boy finds out he has special abilities as well. He is suddenly thrown into their world of chaos and wonder as he tries to find out where he plays into all of it.
