"Hiiiiiii~! Hehe! I'm Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader! And yes, I'm also an Ultimate Despair! But you could probably tell from this little cutie on my cheek, huh?"

The boy giggled and tapped his cheek, showing off the bear tattoo on his cheek.

Kokichi giggles in turn and nods with Shuichi's statement, gripping his hand and swinging their arms.

To be fair, at that point, it wouldn't have been his fault. It would have either been "kill or be killed", quite literally. It would fall on the kids' parents, not those who had been victims. And that explains why Kokichi is so desensitized to death, and even finds laughter in it. But he did what he had to do to survive.

A few minutes later, the duo emerge from the store as a whole, Kokichi unconscious (and fully clothed) in Shuichi's arms. The two clearly didn't fuck, but Kokichi's wearing clean bandages over his eye and hands, so... that's probably what they were actually doing. Shuichi doesn't head back toward the pizzeria as promised, though. He starts heading back to his and Kokichi's place.
