Getting a PHD literally anywhere else: Wow! Congratulations! What a great achievement! Amazing!

Getting a PHD in Gotham: Wow! Amazing! You're now on several Government, Civilian, and Bat watchlists.

So if any of the Wayne kids get a PHD, then the entirety of Gotham would be squinting at them suspiciously. They're rich, so resources, and most likely already insane with all the shit they pull.

What I'm saying is if Jason went and got himself a Doctorate in Literature, the whole city would anticipate the appearance of his villainsona called the Dead Poet(emphasis on the dead) or Bookkeeper or something else similarly nerdy and themed like that for sure.

I just know that it would turn into some Gotham inside joke with memes abound, and everytime Jason would, I don't know, give more funding to the neglected Arts Departments in Gotham University, or go to a school for read alongs to encourage kids to read, Gotham social media would go crazy and be like:

And so on! It's a meme that refuses to go away. His siblings actively participate, and make the situation worse.

Dick held an online Gotham Villains and Anti-Heroes Poll and Dead Poet came out on top, over Red Hood. Jason is an actual Gotham crime boss, but his crowdfunded villainsona is more popular. No he's not salty about it at all.

Duke would create a montage of Dead Poet sightings.

Stephanie would make a Dead Poet meme compilation.

Tim would arrange Wayne Enterprises to donate to local libraries after allegedly being threatened by the heinous villain Dead Poet. (Jason did ask Tim to do that but not like that)

Barbara created an extremely popular Villain Watch account for Dead Poet.

Cass tweeted out Jason's favourite books as the villain Dead Poets reading list telling people to avoid them 'wink wonk', causing a massive uptick in the sale of those books ala Bigolas Dickolas.

Damian of all people tweeted out a pic of Jason playing with Alfred the cat accusing the evil villain Dead Poet of attempting to kidnap his cat.

And thats not to mention all the shenanigans they pull in their batsonas.

God bless Gotham and it's home grown, organic, not even remotely ethically sourced, free range chaos.

lifestyle: jinx’s life would be messy and disorganized, likely living in an apartment full of creative chaos where her imagination runs wild. she’d be constantly on the move, rarely staying in one place for long due to her restless nature.

Rip of the week: 20/01/2025

Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star

Season 8 No Album Release (Read More) Cocoa Cave (US Version) - Kirby Super Star

Many years ago, during its first-ever Season, SiIvaGunner released the rip Light Plane (Krabby Mix); a rip that I, in my review and analysis of it just a few weeks ago, described as perhaps the best SpongeBob-related rip of its time. Utilizing a simple concept, a recognizable song, and an immediately identifiable and funny source all at once, Philiponbread created an all-time classic using naught but the bare essentials. Yet writing that post got me thinking of what lies on the opposite end of the spectrum; what would qualify as the best SpongeBob rip of TODAY, one made with years upon years of refinement in ripping prowess? Part of that thought process was, of course, also motivated by remembering how Season 8 in particular had an entire SpongeBob event occur during it, which gave my question more answers than I could have ever hoped for. There were tons of possible picks I could have had for today's post, but ultimately it was Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star that stuck with me most; standing out as the clearest expression of just how far SpongeBob-posting has come in the years since Light Plane (Krabby Mix).

Indeed, while Light Plane (Krabby Mix) was moreso teetering on the edge of being a YTPMV though its approach of pitch-shifting one snippet of audio alongside the original track's music, Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star is almost overwhelmingly maximalistic in its approach as evident from just the first few seconds. Despite all falling under the same umbrella term, the art of making YTPMV covers so many different approaches; For instance, there's rips like (YTPMV) Bob​-​Omb Battlesources which give a sense of ping-ponging between different sources by the second, while rips like Going Somewhere Jerma? and Everything Circus use a consistent, themed set of sources throughout their entire runtime. All YTPMVs are, in some form, rearrangements, which rips like Chillin' Like A Villain and its WANO-ilk embrace to a point where that underlying chaos that defines the genre almost starts to disappear from that equation. At the direct opposite of that almost elegant style or arrangement, then, we find the embodiment of said chaos, the definition of the aforementioned maximalism; with rips like my dearly beloved Crompton Racing, or indeed, Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star. Like rearrangement rips, every part of the original song is taken into consideration – Lead, bass, percussion, etc. – yet, rather than the approach of unassuming coherence, these are the kinds of rips that lean wholesale into cacophany; using as many sources of as many different kinds as possible, each source being picked out on a "what would be funny"-like basis. From there it's effectively just a matter of how hard the YTPMVer wants to dial in; into total insanity along the lines of LAST YTPMV​^​2 OF 2016, or into something that still holds on to a shred of sanity.

The most standout thing about Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star beyond its broad-strokes direction is the care taken in the sources used; what at first appears like a cacophany of sources taken everywhere from SpongeBob itself to funny online videos and memes, soon clicks as all being under one theme; It's ALL SpongeBob posting. The percussion and bass are from the SpongeBob movie and show respectively, yes; but the TikTok that plays as the lead melody, an all-time favorite source of mine, is very specifically connected to SpongeBob as well, containing the lyric "Chilling on the weekend like usual / Watching SpongeBob and Scooby Dooby Doo". The high-tempo soundscape of Kirby music being used as the framework for all of these sources to fit into has an almost inherently comedic value to it, in a way I've alluded to back on rips like Kirby Joins the Circus!; it's the kind of whimsical soundscape that elevates YTPMV sources to sounding even more absurdly funny than they already are. As mentioned, the Gym Music TikTok source is one of my most cherished sources of all time, and the realization that it was eligible for SpongeBob day through seeing this rip made me embarrassingly giddy, only emphasized by how much fun the pitch shifting on it became through being aligned with Cocoa Cave's melody. This pattern only continues throughout the rip; The sudden appearance of the Whip and Nae Nae of Whip Fortress fame baffled me at first brush, only for the visuals remind me that, oh RIGHT - Silento DID make a Nickelodeon-themed (SpongeBob included) Whip and Nae Nae variant for Labour Day Weekend!

This all follows what I think, crucially, most separates SpongeBob rips of today from SpongeBob rips of yesteryear; The sources have gone from being in tribute to just SpongeBob itself to also referencing so many parts of SpongeBob's meme culture. Of all cartoons in the world, perhaps only The Simpsons rivals the absolute outreach that the Sponge has on internet posting; So many quotes, so many clips, so many gifs and so many absurd videos have been shared and made and posted in tribute to the show. Light Plane (Krabby Mix) was only truly scratching the surface, of just one of SpongeBob's many many many holds it has on the internet world; every little source from Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star – the knee-slap percussion, the stepping-on-the-beach song, the NO-NO-NO-NO!'s, the use of that one Patrick soundbyte that Sans Undertale's voice was sampled from – feels like it can be mentally traced back to some week, month or year on the internet, be it social media or YouTube or forums or discord, where it was THE funny thing to be sharing. It took until a rip like this, so dense with audio information all layered atop one another in a way that teeters on the incomprehensible whilst remaining a genuinely fun listen, for me to realize just how MUCH SpongeBob has its roots in the internet world.

PBandJam is a ripper that doesn't strike often, but has a damn good grasp of what he's doing; with this and Wind Scene (Short Version) - Chrono Trigger alone he pretty much immediately cemented SpongeBob Day as one I'll remember even as someone who hasn't really watched much of the show. There's something to be said about that attachment I still hold to SpongeBob, despite not growing up with it, despite not getting that same nostalgic kick out of Ocean Man and CG Man HD Remastered Edition as everyone else, but because the means in which he's been wielded by the internet is one that feels timelessly appealing. Lots of the sources in Watching Spongebob and Kirby Super Star are ones you could call stupid bullshit; But it's stupid bullshit that I and millions of others got to be part of and laugh alongside during its moments of online relevance. And isn't that feeling, truly, what SiIvaGunner is all about?

About My Writing

My favorite things to write are sci-fi and high fantasy, and sometimes I consider really convoluted projects that combine the two. I love some extensive world-building, and I regularly think about conlangs I would love to create. I stick with writing NA and general adult stuff, mostly novels with the occasional short story.

Same as my writing, I tend to prefer sci-fi and fantasy in what I want to read and follow from fellow writeblrs. If you've got some good hefty worldbuilding, I want to see it. I'm always open to looking at other genres, of course, those are just my favorite.

Summary: Janessa Davis lives for the drama—and she’s got a front-row seat to the wildest show on Earth: professional wrestling. Chapter One: After the Fall

The locker room was a powder keg waiting for a spark.

Janessa Davis leaned casually against the cold brick wall, watching the fallout unfold like a director surveying their magnum opus. She’d positioned herself just out of their immediate line of sight, tucked in the shadows but close enough to catch every heated word. Her phone was poised to record, though tonight she wasn’t planning to post anything. This was for her, and only her. She knew better than to poke a bear nursing its wounds—but watching? That was fair game.

The Bloodline 2.0’s War Games loss had shaken the entire arena. The crowd’s deafening cheers for the OG Bloodline members still echoed in Janessa’s ears as she lingered backstage, soaking in the bitter aftermath. Solo Sikoa sat in the center of the chaos, a storm cloud personified, while Tama Tonga leaned against a locker, fists clenched, his face a blank slate—which was always more terrifying than when he was openly angry. Jacob Fatu paced like a caged lion, muttering under his breath. Bronson Reed sat in a corner, his broken foot propped up on a bench, the cast glaringly white under the harsh locker room lights. Meanwhile, Tonga Loa sat with his arm cradled in a sling, his torn bicep evident in the grimace he couldn’t quite hide.

“What the hell was that?” Solo’s voice cracked like a whip, cutting through the tension. “We had it. That was our match. And now? Now we’re a goddamn meme.”

“Ain’t nobody told you to…” Tama started, but his words died in the face of Solo’s withering glare.

“What? What did you say?” Solo stood, towering over Tama. “Go ahead, finish it. You want to say something, Tonga? Say it.”

Tama hesitated, his bravado faltering. “Nothin’, man. Forget it.”

“That’s what I thought.” Solo sat back down, his face a mask of cold fury.

It was a ballet of implosion, and Janessa couldn’t help but smirk. She didn’t pity them. Not after the months of hostility, the snide comments, the veiled threats. To the Bloodline 2.0, she was nothing but an interloper, a nuisance who didn’t belong in their sacred domain. She’d heard it all before—the warnings, the promises that she’d regret sticking her nose where it didn’t belong. But Janessa had never been one to back down from a fight, even one she couldn’t win.

Still, her smirk faltered when her eyes flicked to Tonga Loa. He was unusually quiet, his pain evident in the way he avoided moving too much. A pang of guilt twisted in her chest, but she pushed it down. She had no business feeling sorry for him. Not here. Not now.

“You gettin’ this, reporter?” Jacob’s voice startled her, his sharp gaze cutting through the shadows and landing squarely on her.

Janessa’s smirk returned, though it didn’t reach her eyes. She didn’t bother to hide her phone. “Wouldn’t miss it for the world, Fatu.”

Tama stopped pacing, turning his full attention to her. “You’re like a damn cockroach, you know that? Always crawling where you’re not wanted.”

“If I’m a cockroach, then what does that make you?” She shot back without missing a beat.

The room fell silent. Even Solo looked up, his dark eyes narrowing as they locked onto her.

“You think this is funny?” Solo’s voice was low, dangerous.

Janessa shrugged, pushing off the wall and stepping into the light. “I think watching the mighty Bloodline fall apart is… fascinating. But funny? Not quite the word I’d use.”

Bronson shifted uncomfortably; his frustration palpable despite his inability to physically confront her. Solo held up a hand, silencing any further movement or words.

“You’ve got guts,” Solo said, rising to his full height. “I’ll give you that. But guts don’t keep you safe, Davis. You’re playing a game you can’t win.”

She tilted her head, meeting his gaze head-on. “Maybe. Or maybe I’m just better at it than you think.”

“Watch your back,” Solo said, his voice dropping to a chilling whisper. “Because when you least expect it… we’ll be there.”

The unspoken threat hung in the air as she walked away, the weight of their stares burning into her back. But she didn’t falter. She’d been in worse situations—or at least, that’s what she told herself as she stepped into the empty corridor.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket, and she pulled it out, her pulse quickening at the name on the screen.

She hesitated before answering. “About time.”

“You shouldn’t have been there tonight.” His voice was low and urgent, but unmistakable.

“Don’t tell me what to do,” she snapped. “You know how this works.”

“Yeah, well, it’s not working anymore,” he said. “They’re not just mad, Janessa. They’re out for blood.”

She leaned against the wall, her smirk returning despite the unease creeping into her chest. “Then maybe you should tell your family to chill. Or better yet, stop pretending you don’t have my back.”

There was a long pause on the other end of the line. “I’m not sure I can keep doing this.”

Her smile faltered. “Then you’d better decide whose side you’re really on.”

The line went dead, leaving her alone in the dim corridor. For the first time that night, the thrill of the game didn’t feel quite so exhilarating.

My Youtube channel recently reached 100k subscribers and even though it seems cliché or something unimportant to most people, it's quite special to me, so I wrote this text to at least express part of what I feel... I know it is extremely tedious to read a huge text, I won't judge you if you want to skip this and continue with what you were doing, but I'm immensely grateful to those who are going to read this (I don't know where you got the patience from) well, let's go…

I created the channel in 2017, two years after my first contact with Animation Memes, I was quite naive, I was still studying at school and all I wanted was to show my stories to people, even if my drawings were full of errors and the videos had a simple and amateur editing, I had a lot of fun and was really amazed to see a community growing and being inspired by the videos I made.

One thing I observed is that each animation meme YouTuber at the time was part of a group that interacted and did several collabs with each other, I wanted to be part of one, I don't deny that, especially Brazilian youtubers like DaianeBR, but I was happy to be just me and my subscribers, I remember when for the first time a video reached more than 1 million views (Fantasize Meme), I simply didn't know what to do with the huge audience that out of nowhere subscribed to my channel at the time kkkkkk

I grew and developed a lot over the years, both in art and as a person, my life changed and I went through difficulties and pain that almost took away the shine and desire to create that I had at the beginning of the channel (That's why my persona changed to a more apathetic character and little by little she regained some of her color and personality) I was close to reaching that 100k subscriber mark before, in 2019, however... Due to the problems in my personal life, I had difficulty finding the desire to draw from before and that's why the channel was stopped for a long time, losing many subscribers, which is normal, YouTube demands frequency, if it doesn't receive this, you are forgotten by the algorithm. From then on, the channel became something more secondary in my life, almost forgetting its existence at times. These were difficult times and in the next few years I focused on recovering what I lost.

In 2020 I joined the Ordem Paranormal fandom, it was there that I managed to get back on my feet and met friends who are like family to me today: Insaniam Inter Chao, my found family. That's why I changed my persona once again, little by little recovering the colors and shine of the past. With them with me to this day I managed to continue on this journey, they are very important to me, capable of unlocking feelings that one day in the past I myself locked them deep inside.

I ended up being in 2 other fandoms in which I made related videos for, including QSMP focusing mainly on the Hideduo ship kkkkk, I met wonderful people in this community and together with some of them I managed a doodles account on Twitter, even though I'm not in that fandom anymore, I don’t want to forget them, I will show support in each one's journey as much as I can.

And here I am in 2024, many things this year also almost took me to the ground, I still don't have the same shine as I used to and my emotional state is still not 100%, but I have dreams and the desire to continue creating, showing the stories that I create and make people inspired. Is it stupid and cliché or even too idealistic? Yes. I'm not intelligent and I'm probably just one of the crowd of artists on the internet, but knowing that to this day, whether I'm an old or new subscriber, following what I do makes me very happy... You know, I'm an extremely insecure person and I often don't I feel worthy of nothing, I don't even know how I interact with a certain number of audiences, that's why on my social medias i post a drawing/video and just disappear kkkkk, I may seem extremely responsible and admirable in the eyes of others who see my art, but I'm a person full of problems and I'm very afraid of the future, but despite everything I'm grateful for everyone who likes my content, even if it takes a long time to be posted.

I'm not famous for having 100k, I don't have a good frequency of videos, I'm terrible at interacting with the public, I don't do well with self-promotion, my videos don't get many views and I practically don't know how to follow any algorithm kkkkk, a complete mess, but I really thank everyone who participates in my journey, whether from the beginning or those who have just subscribed...

Everyone has a world inside them, everyone has their own story, you are more complex than you think and you are much more than just numbers. If I am able to inspire someone as diverse and deep as you, that would be my greatest happiness.

Okay, first here I want to introduce a new Witch OC of mine; Zero, the Witch of Chaos

[Witch Description: When most witches discuss fragments, though there are infinitely many, they are mainly focused on fragments that follow the same rules as each other. Zero, the Witch of Chaos, exists outside of those rules and structures. They can see fragments of infinitely many different rules, and of each ruleset, infinitely many scenarios. Zero fights by creating noise and confusion around the truth by using the tool they call the Magenta Truth- statements that have the level of red truth in at least one fragment. Though the Magenta Truth is easily possible to disprove if it does not apply to the fragment taking place, it is more akin to creating a haystack to cover a needle. Some witches dislike Zero, viewing their inclusion of fragments with contradictory rules as disrespectful to the rules of an individual fragment; however, from Zero's perspective, every fragment is true to itself, and thus all hold equal value to each other.]

And now after rambling about all that, I'd also like to talk about the design process too. Their name is obviously the number, 0, and I chose it because 0 is both a real number and an imaginary number.

Their design also incorporates a lot of magenta because the color magenta technically doesn't exist either- there is no wavelength of light for magenta.

Then, with the magenta, I also employed a bit of the magenta-cyan-yellow color wheel, where the left half of the shirt on their design is a darker cyan and the right half of their shirt is a lighter yellow. Even if it might be on theme, I didn't want to use pure cyan and pure yellow because it would have felt too noisy to me.

Of course, speaking about noise in the design, there's a lot of asymmetry. Mismatched hair and mismatched attire and mismatched earrings

To be honest, the idea for the theme originated in joke continuation of the theme from the last time I did art for the stream, that being the Sonic crossover stuff, so the thought process was like Chaos emeralds, Chaos control -> witch of Chaos, but despite that I'm actually really happy with how this oc turned out? I feel like they can stand on their own, even outside of the joke.

When he's brought back, all he can think about is getting revenge for the family he lost

His mission is the only thing that matters to him at this point

Eventually comes to realize this isn't what Maria wanted for him at all and spends the last act of the game helping to avert the disaster he set up

And with all this laid out, obviously the real Shadow The Hedgehog parallel is Ange Ushiromiya, and though this also started as a joke I've thought about this way too much now. If Ange and Shadow aren't the same characters then um what's this?

Checkmate. So I also drew Ange in the pose from the beginning of SA2 where Sonic sees Shadow for the first time.

We’ve made it to 2025, friends!

Another year, another chance to revel in the unparalleled glory of ships, whose tension and unspoken longing fuel our collective chaos. But before we dive headfirst into new fics, fan art, and elaborate theories about whether Elrond ever braided Galadriel’s hair in the First Age (he did, fight me), let’s take a moment to reflect on the whirlwind that was 2024.

Now, let’s not mince words—2024 had its fair share of wargs running amok in the mix. Between the trolls and Nazgûls from That Certain Fandom™️(iykyk) swooping in uninvited like Gollum at a fish market, there were moments that felt like braving the Paths of the Dead armed with nothing but a rusty dagger and questionable optimism. And if you think I won’t indulge in the occasional salty rant about it, you’re as wrong as Boromir thinking he could just "borrow" the One Ring for five minutes. Seriously, some of the drama this year made Geralt’s bathtub scene look downright serene by comparison (yes, I went there).

But despite all the chaos—and trust me, there was enough chaos to make Melkor proud—this year also brought its fair share of bright, shining moments. Like a perfectly timed Igni spell or that rare moment when Gandalf actually explains something without cryptic metaphors, there were pockets of joy that reminded me why this fandom is so special. From stunning fanworks to late-night reblogs that had me cackling like Yennefer after a successful power play, 2024 had its moments of magic.

I’ve been so incredibly lucky to meet some of the most talented, passionate, and downright lovely people here on this little corner of Tumblr. Your art, your fics, your memes—every single one has been like a light in the darkness, more powerful than Galadriel’s phial when Frodo was about to get snacked on by Shelob. From stunning illustrations to stories that made me ugly-cry in the best way, you’ve all created magic that I’ll cherish forever.

This year has shown me how much this fandom is like Rivendell—a refuge where we can come together, share what we love, and let our creativity shine. The support and humor here are unmatched. Capricious, Impish, Audacious —⠀Personality In Three Words

It could be said that Natash, a.k.a Nat, is an incarnation of chaos, often serving as more of a wildcard sort in any given context. One may consider her a living, breathing meme. While her loyalties may come off as questionable at times, Nat does honestly mean well. Some may see her as the "crazy aunt" or "goblin" friend in a group.

Nat is brazen, adventurous and a shameless flirt towards almost any legally available individual who may make eye contact with her. Despite her capacity to be a "gremlin," she can actually be quite provocative. Though, she can be quite provocative in every sense of the word. She has an air of mischief about her that can lead to some splendid, albeit dangerous outings. Even for those unwilling to participate!

Brief History

It is not hard to imagine Nat was just as rambunctious as a child as she is today! She was raised by a single parent; her biological father, Allen, (affectionately referred to as "Al," by most.) Though Nat was nothing short of trouble, her father was a kind and hard-working man who cared for her unconditionally. Nat's mother, on the other hand, was an absent parent. Her mother, Bretta, was involved in what some may consider the "dark arts," taboo constructs and witchcraft regarded as heresy by the more prominent religious groups of the region.

In Nat's early twenties, her mother was killed, leaving nothing in her name other than a Familiar named Sven. This demon was a long time companion of her mother's, who was willed to take to Nat's side should she ever die. Despite a shared interest and open-minded view of the "dark arts" that her mother had, Nat was initially reluctant to accept Sven as a pact partner. However, in knowing he was all that remained of her mother and curious about the stories he and Bretta shared together, Nat accepted him. Thus, a pact was formed and Nat was immortally bound to Sven, in life and in death from that day forward.

Mingling with the taboo and wilder sides of life didn't stop there either. One evening, Nat happened to cross paths with an unfortunate vampire, Leo, who she helped to get back on his feet and keep safe from the public eye. Being a man of many troubles as well, Leo and Nat (and Sven) inevitably came to form what may be regarded as a somewhat unethical, but rather close relationship over the years. Though they lived more separate lives, they would soon come to take on a rather wild and adventurous future (even for them) as a team.

Nat was created initially as a joke as well as a self-insert character; given this, her full name is a pun. "Natash Iswere" is a play on the phrase "not Ashe, I swear!"

The business Nat works for on the regular is a family owned business, run by the generations on her father's side. Being that most of Nat's creation revolved around being a joke, the name of their shop is also a pun. "Iswere By It"obviously being a play on "I swear by it."

Sven, though largely carnivorous, thoroughly enjoys brownies and has the capacity to devour an entire tray of them! Because of this, Nat often makes brownies and offers them as treats to Sven.

Death Grips: Fans or Fanatics?

Hi everyone! Hopefully you had a good week :) I am back today with a new entry about… Death Grips of course!! And I especially wanted to talk about their fanbase.

The Death Grips fanbase has always been a unique beast. What started as a cult following in the deep corners of the Internet evolved into something much more aggressive and, at times, problematic. In the early days, fans dug deep into obscure forums to find new bands, and Death Grips thrived in that secrecy. However, as the Internet shifted, their once-passionate fanbase started to deteriorate.

By the time The Money Store came out, the group’s rise in popularity led to a kind of memification. Fans began to dissect their music with memes and inside jokes rather than genuine critique or appreciation, resulting in a community more obsessed with being part of the spectacle than respecting the art itself. It’s strange how, in a way, this fanbase reflects the chaos of the music, but with an insincere edge. Their concerts are notorious for aggressive behaviour: fans pushing, shoving, and sometimes getting outright violent in a way that feels almost disconnected from the music. I’ve been to two of their concerts and it was a literal survival of the fittest. It’s as if being a fan of Death Grips became more about proving how “noided” you were rather than engaging with the experimental sounds or ethos. This kind of loyalty, bordering on fanaticism, has definitely created a weird cult-like atmosphere around the band. I can’t think of many other artists whose shows come with an unspoken rule: you’re either in or you’re out, and being in means embracing the chaos completely, even if that means getting bruised or worse. The band has always kept a distance, never fully interacting with this wave of fanaticism. But now, as their unofficial hiatus seems to stretch on, it feels like this might have been the ending they saw coming all along. For a band that thrived on chaos, it seems fitting that their fanbase became its own uncontrollable storm. I think that’s part of the appeal, though. Death Grips make you feel something raw and unfiltered. For some, that’s liberating. While for others, it’s terrifying. Either way, it’s unforgettable!

🏆 how long i've been roleplaying for?

i would roughly say 3-5 years with large gaps in-between because of my personal life. i was probably 16-17 when i first joined the RPC with my friends ♡

some of yall are about to be real mad at me...but it must be said!!

following but never interacting. i will never understand why i used to get followed only to be ignored for almost a month straight?? it's frustrating AF to deal with because i make an effort to communicate through liking their headcanons, sending a message, reblogging prompts for them to respond IC if they're not comfortable talking OOC and posting starters but all i get in return is radio silence. there's no point in following someone if they're never go to showcase their interest towards me.

people who follow me without reading my rules. it's the bare minimum. it's my only requirement. i can ALWAYS tell when somebody doesn't read them. the lack of respect is icky.

a villain is a villain. do not follow me if you cannot handle her rude comments or disturbing actions. please don't expect her to be nice just because your muse is 'special'. louise will not care...unless you're a monster, but that doesn't mean monsters are safe from her wrath if they end up provoking her.

when i see a RP blog with no tags. it's so difficult to navigate and find specific things like prompts/memes. i will not bother checking out a tagless account.

people who refuse to interact with OC's. why?? do people not know canon characters were someone else's OC?? the math ain't mathing!!

people who use AI to generate a reply or create meaningless artwork. i'm strictly anti-AI. i believe suffering for your art or writing is what makes it so... relatable to me. there has to be REAL tears of passion otherwise i'm not moved 😭😭

needing internet validation 24/7. it's SUPER exhausting telling someone they're good enough to write only for them to discard it. i know we all have our bad days but it gets to the point where it becomes overwhelming and sets off my anxiety.

DNI MINORS!! i am a GROWN adult. i wish more minors would actually hang out with their age group instead of trying to interact with me. i only interact with muns over 21+ for a reason!!

posting too much negativity without tagging it or putting it under 'read more'. for the sake of my mental health, i will soft block. the same goes with drama because i do not want to be dragged into someone else's problems or start the day off with negativity.

people who only see female muses as sex objects and nothing more. i put my entire SOUUUL into louise's characterisation. she was always sexualised by DC in the past but i see her as a complex character in desperate need of flourishing. plus, she's a killer not a seducer. louise did not come here to flirt. she came here to start chaos.

personals who spam my account with likes and reblogs. this one gets on my nerves A LOT!! it's why i had to turn off the reblog feature and hard block them on sight.

poem of ecstasy, one of scriabin's most famous works; my personal favorite recording because you can really hear the best part of the song around 18:27 to the end. side note: sometimes its wonderful that classical is interpreted differently by each player but it can get annoying when trying to really conceptualize the original work.

scriabin is known to have an extremely complex mind: synesthesia, a god/messiah complex, psychosis, among other things. he was deeply interested in art and the divine, and how he could entwine the two and reach enlightenment. one of his unfinished works "mysterium" highlights this as he describes it as (what was meant to be) a 7-day long performance (its actually 3 hours because he didnt finish it) including not only a musical performance but also displays of flame, sunrise/sunset, perfumes, dancers, eventually ending in a worldwide orgy and the enlightenment+replacement of humanity.

i think what i find draws me to his music is his thin ethereal veiling of the chaos that was his mind, bringing mixed feelings of fear ,awe, and ecstasy. he's described to sit at the border of romanticism and abstract classical. his music exemplifies the feeling of being utterly consumed by the intensity of art, the universe, and the senses.

this is my favorite piece of his, maybe my 3rd favorite classical piece of all time. it's probably his most abstract sonata, the rhythm accelerates and freezes at almost imperceivable rates. listening to this makes me feel like im a video game avatar going full ragdoll; suddenly the physics and rules of this reality are tossed away and i am at the full mercy of a larger, more complex universe. it's both terrifying and ecstasy inducing for me. ultimately, art is a container of the senses, a physical manifestation of the invisible workings of human beings; when the piano was invented, one can hardly believe they expected music like this to be produced from it. i really like this quote from "20th Century Women" where a character is trying to explain punk music: "it's really interesting what happens when your passion is bigger than the tools you have to deal with it. It creates this energy that's raw. Isn't it great?" ,i see this idea applied to so many works of art i enjoy, including this one. scriabin's grandiose, cosmic-sized plans for himself and the universe were bursting at the seams of it's containment through music of his era. the ending of this one, unlike "poem of ecstasy" is very anticlimactic and unsatisfying compared to the chaos that permeates the rest of the sonata; almost like his mind is flying off the keys and into a yet to be discovered dimension.

Also this meme. Which isn’t really about how “underground” the composer is but how mentally ill the listener is in my opinon

I would like to share some headcanons about my AU because it won't leave my mind! 😂

Okay, so, for the main story premise, this all takes place post-The End. The headcanons I will be sharing are after the gang reconciles with Tord after he goes through a crazy redemption arc.

My OC Terri, who is part of this AU, will also be included in these headcanons because she is my feral gremlin and I love her!

Anyway, here we go!

Eddsworld: Back At It Again Headcanons

Edd-

-Edd's an indie animator responsible for creating a popular web cartoon based on the gang's adventures. In other words, it's this universe's version of Eddsworld.

-Edd is slightly chubby for a guy who looks skinny with his hoodie on. His clothes are pretty good at making it hard to tell if he is.

-Edd's the type of guy who will watch animation meme compilations until 3AM. Usually, to inspire his own animations or just for fun.

-Edd is the middle child of their small friend group. Yet, sometimes, he feels like the reluctant older brother because of how much chaos he's been subject to.

-Edd will livestream about his show or do art for fun very often. Sometimes his roommates join in or can be heard in the background.

-He has his own personal cola fridge in his room! If he runs out of room in the regular fridge, he will use it for extra cola and have it near him at all times.

Tom-

-Tom has been trying his best to improve his drinking habits since the gang got back together for real. He still sometimes stumbles home drunk though. At least his friends know how to take care of him when that happens.

-Tom and Terri have their own recording studio in the basement of the house. Tom uses it to livestream music and sometimes even helps Edd with the show using the equipment down there.

-Tom still has his monster form. It only comes out when he's super angry though. He's been trying to teach himself how to use it at will.

-Tom keeps harpoons in his room. His old harpoon cannon doesn't work anymore, but he doesn't wish to part with the ammo.

-Tom will never be able to describe the deal with his eyes fully. When the topic comes up, there's either an interruption or something that makes it hard to hear what he's saying.

-Tom may be the occasional voice of reason, but he's dumb in his own way. Sometimes even he won't know what's going on.

Tord-

-Much of his redemption arc included therapy with Terri's mom. He was so happy to get it though. He even got to know Terri properly through it.

-He loves anime, but will simp over hot anime girls in a way he shouldn't. He's been trying to improve, but old habits die hard. Terri and Edd are always the ones to remind him he should snap out of it.

-Tord loves to create updates for his robot arm. He hopes to implement a laser blaster into it someday.

-Leading an entire army left to him by his parents is tough. Whenever he has to attend meetings, he's always bored. So bored that he'll find ways to sneak in a distraction. One time he brought in a Rubix cube that was solved by the end of the meeting.

-Tord's identity as Red Leader is unknown to the public. It's done to protect his family and friends. Edd, Tom, and Matt sometimes act as his bodyguards and have cool code names that keep up with their color scheme. Edd is the Green Crusader, Tom is the Blue Commander and Matt is the Violet Vampire.

-Tord does his own art in his own time. He draws a lot of action poses and animals. Edd will sometimes share it on his streams too.

Matt-

-Matt has a daily skincare routine that he loves sharing with people. He'll even convince his friends to have self-care days with him.

-He has a personal fridge in his room filled with donated blood to satisfy his vampire urges. His least favorite blood type is B- though.

-When he first met Terri, Matt was ecstatic to have a ginger buddy! They bond a lot over their red hair and freckles. As the tallest of the group, Matt likes to tease Terri about her short height. She finds it irritating, but it's all in good fun.

-Matt is a known drama queen. Sometimes he'll complain like a diva. Sometimes he'll be screaming mercy for his precious face.

-Has more fashion sense than his peers. Matt will often try to convince his roommates to find more sense in style, but it's really hard to do so. Especially when you have Terri's tomboy fashion sense.

-If he doesn't get enough blood during his monthly vampire frenzy, Matt will go into a blood rage. Terri, the group's vampire expert, guides the rest of the boys on how to handle him until they can get some blood in his system.

Terri-

-Terri is the little sister of the group and wears that title proudly. She knows just how to push the boys' buttons. Her already being a harbinger of chaos proves she knows how to do the job.

-Terri is a part-time cadet for the Red Army. She will go on missions if necessary, but she still has a lot of military training to get near Tord's level.

-Terri's love for 80's rock knows no bounds. Her favorite artists include Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Queen, Metallica, and many others. But nothing gets her going like Journey. Her favorite track from them is Separate Ways, a comfort song that helped her through some tough times.

-Terri wishes to be a rock star when she's out of college. As part of that journey, she collaborates with Tom on covers and original songs. Music has been their way of bonding since they met.

-Terri loves vampires from both classic and modern literature. She's read Dracula too many times to count. As for modern vampires, she likes this one vampire anime that Tord likes to tease her about. She teases him back with his own animes.

-Terri has an electric guitar she inherited from her dad as a birthday present. She's always playing it whenever she has time. She even knows how to do the guitar riff from Van Halen's Eruption.
