|| I keep talking about how sad and lonely Isfrid is, but make no mistake. He fears hurting innocent people. If someone tries to kill him or someone he cares about (like Alanna), he would NOT hesitate to kill them first.

Twisted Wonderland doesn't actually have particularly murderous people (unless you count during overblots) but Isfrid has lived alone and survived on his own for decades now. He is a good person at heart, but he won't hesitate to kill someone before they kill him. He has even less hesitation than Elsa when she was trying to kill those two men with the crossbows in the ice castle. He. Will. KILL. You. (this also applies for his genshin verse~)

Everything is subject to change, especially since there's so little we know about full dragons in this game XDD If any of this info contradicts something we know in canon, PLEASE let me know!! it is so hard to keep up with all the genshin lore omg…

Ice elemental dragon~ But he’s like…..young. He's a young adult dragon, not fully mature by any means but not a child either. Just past his teenage years. Think early twenties in dragon years (like 21/22)

Isfrid is JUST an elemental dragon. He isn't like Neuvillette. He's more like Dvalin, just much younger. He has no ties to the Seven Sovereigns. He's just a dragon.

Over 500 years ago, he was Lyudmila's pet/familiar. She raised him since he was a tiny little hatchling vishap until he was the age he appears to be now. However, when the cataclysm came, she froze over her nation in anguish--and she froze her familiar as well. Isfrid was frozen in ice for five hundred years, and during that time lost all of his memories of his past. He didn't age at all during that time, so he's actually well over 500 years although he doesn't seem that old.

He was found by a human in Snezhnaya. Isfrid didn't any recollection of his past, so the human man's face was his first memory that he can recall. He changed his form to look like a human as well to mimic the man. That human then took him to his village and gave him the name Isfrid. The man--who was the patriarch of village--and his wife raised Isfrid, although he was technically an adult in dragon years. The village raised him like a human, so all he really knows is humanity and not dragons.

However, one day, Isfrid learned that his adoptive father was killed while out in the village. He was the only family Isfrid had ever known, and the knowledge of his death broke the poor dragon's heart. Much like the Archon, Isfrid's anguish overwhelmed him to the point where he couldn't control his ice. He turned the whole village to ice, even freezing all the villagers in the process. In a single day, he lost everything. So, he ran away.

He fled and hid amongst the blizzards of Snezhnaya. Wherever he went, he made the blizzards worse. I need to determine what he did during the time of his village's destruction to the current timeline, so I will update this post when I come up with that. Now, he’s left wandering Teyvat, trying to hide his identity as an ice dragon as well as control his powers (debating on whether or not he should live on Dragonspine now, but idk we’ll see XDD)

Isfrid tries to make himself seem human because he hates his 'dragon' side. So, he’s pretty much always walking around in a human form. He wears gloves to help control his ice, but if the leylines are too strong or he’s too emotional, they don’t help him at all.

He understands humanity better than Neuvillette since he was essentially raised by humans. However, he tries his best to isolate himself from others because he’s afraid of hurting them. (which is why I’m debating having him live in mondstadt bc Alanna wouldn’t leave him alone XDD)

|| Just to put everything in one place, here's a masterpost of my genshin ocs/oc verses and their combat abilities~ I'm only listing the main ones here, so if there's any that i missed (or any genshin verse characters you want me to include) just comment on this post or send me a message asking for them!! Kira and Lia already have their whole external traits written out, but I'm gonna include them anyway, just dialed down to keep everything together XDD

This post includes Kira, Lia, Anne, Adrian, Alanna, Isfrid, and Kristian~ (let me know if you want me to add any!!)

Kira: Kira can be a support or a sub DPS. Her burst, which covers the area in a blizzard that inflicts cryo damage, makes her a good support (but the effects are even better when she's on the field), plus she can do a tiny bit of healing soooo yeah. However, she's also a pretty good fighter on her own. She works better with supports that boost someone's damage.

Lia: Definitely a support, which you wouldn't expect knowing her XDD She and Adrian are my only 4 star ocs. Her skill sends two cicins onto the field, plus I think I want to add some things where she boosts the ATK of her teammates.

Anne: DEFINITELY a main DPS. This woman hits like a truck. Her skill summons a few fireballs that inflict pyro damage with whoever is on the field, so she could be used as a support for that. However, her burst ignites her scythe and boosts almost all of her stats for 30 secs unless she's taken off the field. She's best when paired with Adrian.

Adrian: Adrian is totally a support. He's a bow user (tho he usually uses a gun) so he's best for long-range attacks. His skill creates a shield that also heals the character on the field. His burst creates an even more durable shield that also raises the ATK of the active party member. It would be great to use with Anne to keep her from getting too injured.

Alanna: Alanna is a sub DPS or a support. I haven't worked out the specifics of what she does, but she's an anemo sword user. I think her burst creates an HP-recovery shield (as well as does area anemo damage). I also think her skill does a bit of healing, but it's mostly attack-based. She would be good to have on a team with Isfrid.

Isfrid: Isfrid, being a pure cryo elemental being (and a DRAGON at that) is totally a main DPS. He has INCREDIBLE ATK power (all cryo damage as a catalyst user) but it has a great price. Either his skill or his burst causes the other members of the team (even if they're off-screen) to deal a bit of damage, and it never goes below 50%. Regardless, he would need a healer on his team (like Alanna).

Kristian: Kristian is a main DPS, but he's a bit unique. His skill (like Wriothesley) isn't actually an attack but a way to boost his own stats. I think his burst also would boost his own stats. He's very stand-alone and doesn't need any particular support in a party with him.

|| Can/will my twst ocs overblot?

Kristian has a LOT of negativity and uses his magic with these negative emotions very often. However, he isn’t at risk of overblot. His magic isn’t nearly strong enough to reach that level of blot in his body.

Kira, on the other hand, is definitely capable of overblotting, and that’s why she won’t. She knows she’s at risk and has known ever since she started learning magic (Primrose can sense the power in her and warned her of going too far). She refrains from using magic out of negative emotion and tries to remain calm and collected when casting spells. The rose in her room that’s enchanted to bring peace to one’s soul helps lower her level of accumulated blot. I highly doubt she would ever overblot. 

Lia could possibly overblot, but she knows so much about blot that she knows how to avoid it. If she were to 'overblot', it wouldn't be in the way you'd expect. It would be more like just blot poisoning with some hints of overblotting, likely from using her signature spell to control other people's blot. However, she has come very close to overblotting on numerous occasions in her youth due to her father's training.

Alanna doesn't have enough magic to overblot. And even if she pushed herself into creating too much blot, her signature spell literally lowers anyone's blot level in the vicinity, including herself. She could potentially poison herself with too much blot, but it would be very hard to do since she is constantly decreasing her own blot level.

Isfrid and Rosalie are fairies. I guess fairies could technically overblot (Malleus did, after all) but not in a human sense. It would have to be a conscious decision, and neither of them has any reason to do that. They have enough power that they could overblot if they were human, but since they aren't, it's not a concern.

People who are really connected to the elements (really strong vision users, elemental creatures, etc.) can use elemental sight and see that he's just overwhelmingly cryo, even though he seems pretty human. After all, he's an elemental creature himself. If someone used elemental sight on him (someone with really strong elemental sight at least) they could probably tell immediately that he isn't human.

|| no banner yet, but post-game Isfrid info~

Something happens towards the end of his 3rd year (current year in-game), likely having to do with Alanna, that teaches him how to melt his ice and revert the effects. After learning this ability, he finally returns to his home village and actually reverses the effects of his terrible freeze.

Isfrid brings everyone in his village back to life by reverting the effects of his magic. Since they were frozen, they didn't age even though decades have passed since then (he was the only one who aged). With his adoptive family and whole village back, Isfrid stays with them instead of going on to have an internship after his 3rd year. He lives in his village and after a few years takes his adoptive father's place as the chief. He often still visits Alanna, or she comes to visit him (and he'll visit any other friends he has made).
