SNSD. even adjusted for inflation i'm pretty sure few other groups and certainly no 2nd gen group ever brought in the kind of wealth they did. we'll literally never have a girl group as iconic as them again

EXO. period. argue with the wall. in terms of money even to this day bts net worth hasn't been able to reach EXO's so you do the math... in terms of legacy they really do have an unmatched legacy both in their company and in the whole kpop industry.

TVXQ. this one is tough because TVXQ impact in japan alone makes them a big contender for second place but we gotta put them at third and i don't wanna hear anything about 5vxq...

H.O.T I really don't know that much about 1st gen so correct me if i'm wrong but they were literally millionaires by the end of their second year as a group i think? only reason they're not higher is because of how short their career was

Super Junior. really don't care about them and the only reason they're this high is because these bitches have been around for almost 20 years. i guess when you're in the race for this long you must be in demand somehow

SHINee. in terms of artistic legacy they are literally invaluable but i do think their impact in terms of money is considerably lower than the groups above. just like with TVXQ their success in japan boosted them in this ranking. plus all the members have highly successful individual careers

aespa. only 4th gen group to play tokyo dome first gg to have 1M album preorders first gg to sell 2M of one album.... idgaf if you don't like them their commercial success is undeniable. in a few years they could reach top 5 but SM will probably freeze them before that

NCT. honestly sales are the only thing carrying the brand... they have no general public impact and never had individual opportunities to cement them in the industry. the only reason they got as big as they are is because of the "infinite rotational" gimmick and how SM uses it as a sales funnel to boost the subunits as needed

Red Velvet. beloved by tumblrinas and a great discography do give them a good legacy... but sadly their overall commercial success is not what it could have been. SM is to blame for fumbling the bag so horribly but when you put them against the rest of the groups in this list they clearly can't compare

f(x). i can't even say anything about them cause the mismanagement and mistreatment that f(x) suffered is genuinely crazy and it's fucked up... we will never know how successful they could have truly been </3

My kpop predictions for 2025 (even if nobody cares):

1. New jeans are gonna disband (or go on a long hiatus):

> From the start of the feud, from the moment New jeans sued hybe, it was clear they were the one who would lose the law suit, I mean come on hybe is a billon dollar company. And as New jeans don't associate themselves with hybe anymore, i don't think hybe will want them anymore.

2. 2025 is gonna be boy group centred year. Especially for 3rd gen boy group.

> 2025 is mostly gonna be boy group centered year. 2024 was mostly about only gg. But as both exo and bts are coming back from their enlistment and also have announced their comeback in 2025, got7 is also coming back, Svt dropping sub-unit, bigbang perfoming in MAMA also shows sign that they're probably cooking a comeback.

3. New year = New Icon

> Well, if you didn't noticed, every year their is one group that blows up as soon as they debut. For example: Aespa and enhypen in 2020, Ive in 2021, New jeans and le sserafim in 2022, kiof in 2023 then illit in 2024.

Well for 2025 i think another gg will blow up, which is pretty normal. But what I'm trying to say is that i think this time it'll probably not from the big 3. Kpop fans are wanting something new and it shows that alot of fans are fed up of those repetitive tik-tok songs *cough* hybe take notes *cough* so a small company will probably want to snatch this opportunity.

4. Big 3 do something!!!

Now this predictions of mine have sub-topics.

a) This year was mostly about hybe groups only, let it be bg or gg- Lessrafim, new jeans, illit, bnd, &team, tws, katseye - you name it. And I don't think big 3 are happy about this (😬). And big 3 will probably want to make 2025 year about themselves. Chances are it will be SM, which brings us to our next point.

b) SM will do something big with Aespa. Like bring their ai self back with more lore. New NCT sub-unit (again)!!!!

c) YG just giving baemon another plain comeback.....No shade to baemon because they're literally the most talented girlies I have saw in kpop. But the problem is YG itself. YG is too obsessed with the rap and girl crush concept to past see other intresting concept, which is why other companies have upper hand as they're always trying something new.

d) Next JYP is literally in shambles. Except stray kids and twice, no group under jyp is doing good. It genuinely hurts that even ITZY is under this category, also with the whole VCHA case. And jyp already have too many groups to handle then to debut one.

I love kpop(⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠) Even though I've been an army since 4th grade my first album was New Jeans omg album.

I have three new jeans albums two of their second one and one of their first one that's the Haerin addition.

I love RE games, as well as Kirby! I have Kirby dream land, and Kirby Buffett. I'd say Seventeen, The boyz and Ateez. Like I know EVERYTHIGN about them yet for some reason I can't stan them. Probably will start getting to know them even more after my exams.

I had this friend who was super into bts (not one of those weird armies she knwe about alot of groups) who asked me to give them a listen but at that time i was like bruh why are you so weird. However, then I opened youtube and saw blackpink's kill this love and it had been like a few days since it was released. I listened to it and was like omg this is nice and from that day onwards, I fell deeper.

25.How long does it take you to learn the names of each member in a group?

Surprisingly not very long, I learned all the nct members in barely two days!

Let's do ggs! My third favorite group is (G)I-DLE and my bias is Yuqi along with Minnie !
