I'm home alone 99% of the time after I get home from work, as he's out of state for work and my list of irl friends is pretty small.

it’s been years since i’ve binged Steven Universe with my friends from college. I remember when it first came out but never watched it, and when I watched it with my friends (their choice of show) it was 2019 and we had caught up on the latest like 3-4 seasons in 2 days. one day we literally watched it for 12 hours straight lol I enjoyed it but never got super into it, but for some reason the thought of Bingo running around with Steven and the Gems makes my inner child happy, I think it would be such a neat and fun crossover with so many possibilities!

Here’s to hoping those muns are still active!!

who’s the most monstrous clone oc (if you’re comfortable with sharing it)

(All clones are capable of being scary, but some are a little scary all the time!!! Also, you implied one, but I have brought three hehe

Top right is Truffle, and she has the DNA of a Football Fish (and some other deep sea creatures). Despite all the teeth, she only eats tiny crustaceans, and she is a bit of a practical joker!!! Mostly luring in unsuspecting folks with her lure and then going BOO!!!

Top left is Rocky Road, and they are technically two clones with separate brains, despite being counted as one in the masterlist. They got some sorta bovine DNA, and they're rather skittish, as stumbling over their legs made them an easier target, but they are pretty sweet once they warm up to someone!

And then the last one, is probably more monstrous in terms of personality than appearance, but he is fuck-off huge (shout out to you anon who asked about giant clones!!!) His name is Chickpea, and he is a bad, bad boy!!! The muzzle and claw caps are not just a fashion statement, y'know!!! The collar is tho hehe

max has always been a loner, in california, she didn't fit in. the girls were popular, prettier, she wasn't like any of them. she would skateboard, they were into make up -- she got bullied quite a bit. when she first came to hawkins, she would go to the arcade by herself, with no care in the world. the only thing she wanted to do was beat the high score on a dumb arcade game & she really didn't care who saw her there, or if she was by herself in a new place.. which is a little sad really. being by herself, but not afraid, or self conscious, because what else could happen to her? her father left, her step father is a douche, her step brother hates her, she's been in more fights than she can count..-- so this new place, that should be scary, well it isn't so bad.

THEN

she finally meets a group of friends that she can see herself fitting into, and mike was so rude, but did that stop her? no because she's had worse, and she can see how much they care about each other. lucas and dustin being the only two that care about her at first is enough, because it is more than she is used to.. finally mike comes along & el.. god when her and el become friends, it is probably something she has always dreamed of. having a friend she can have sleepovers with, go shopping with, ditch the boys with.. she finally fits in, finally has a home.

& THEN

she is alone again, pushing them all away. they're better off without her. there is a reason she was alone her entire life, and now she knows why. it's easier this way, they'll be safer, happier. --so alone it is, she's used to it, but somehow, somehow it just hurts so much more now. getting the small glimpse of happiness, only to have it ripped away. god is it painful, god does she wish she could go back and avoid friends.... but in reality, she wouldn't change meeting them, wouldn't change the happy memories, they're what keeps her going. even on her darkest days, she thinks about ice cream with el... or her sixteenth break up with lucas.. because those are happy memories, and she can pretend, even for a moment that she didn't ruin everything, that she isn't alone.
