his fathers second child from his girlfriend who dumped tae with him

he finally settled down in his 3rd major relationship and second (rich) wife

he was cared for growing up and spent a lot of time with his grandparents on his dads side 

grew up with his step-mom as his mom and her family were nice-ish but it was clear that tae was seen as separate 

but still, he grew up with money so like...that's good right? 

a lot of missed in events in his life but it was made up with toys and money, he was well fed, sure his parents didn't care when he wanted to go off and become a trainee but they never forgot a birthday

he tried to bring it up once and was guilted in silence so he never brought it up again

as soon as he found out about taeha, he started to look for her

it was what pushed him to come to seoul, along with wanting to become a trainee

he's sad boy, he feels lonely at and fills the void with friends or parties or just being around people 

he downplays his parents treatment

actually, would downplay anyone's treatment of him because he's convinced himself he's lucky

is lying to taeha about how much contact he has with their dad and that he's funded by his dad, she thinks its all coming from the grandparents 

does love attention when he gets it

wants to be beloved by everyone and anyone, just to fill the void a little

a past summer romance...like last summer with a female muse but she broke it off when school started, it wasn't anything serious but tae has been crushed. sure, he's getting over feelings for another and SURE you both agreed it was just some summer time fun to appear at parties together or just have something for the gram but it's kinda weird when ya'll share a friend group but tae pretends like you aren't there. (to mention, nothing really would've happened it was like one month romance of cute dates, maybe some kisses and a lot of posting each other or hanging out together. maybe it was time for you muse to buckle down on school)

hi hi all!! this is ellie, aka the mun behind besana!! i’ve been waiting a Long time to bring taeha in, and i’m so excited to finally have her here!!

taeha works a lot of part-time jobs, mostly for various local family businesses! she works for a lot of mom & pop shops, and a lot of her bosses/clients are older empty-nesters running family shops

she works largely around her own schedule, letting people reach out to her when they need an extra set of hands or reaching out herself to her favorites when hours are short so she can offer her services. it’s not the most stable career, but she’s well-known in her neighborhood for being a good worker and kind person, and she does everything from deliveries to inventory to cashiering to repairing/installing appliances. anything she doesn’t know how to do, she figures it out.

she also attends k-arts part time for music performance

in what little free time she has, she goes to auditions for fun when they’re available

she was a trainee at a small company for four years and didn’t make it through a survival show in 2022, but she still finds time to pursue her dream

because she’s so busy all the time, she’s really stressed, but she’s also got eldest daughter syndrome coming out her ears so she refuses to ask for help

this means that once every month or so, taeha totally breaks down for a few days, often with a fever from pushing herself too hard. she insists it’s fine and she can deal with it (she’s not and she can’t help her pls)

a roommate!! she’s living alone in a really crappy place and she doesn’t have the energy or time to take care of it or herself; maybe she moves in with your muse and they start to realize how incredibly Stressed this girl is

coworkers! taeha is a well-known face at a lot of small local places, and she picks up new jobs all the time. she’s not usually at the same place for more than two or three days in a row before she heads off for a different job — she kind of cycles through all of them over the course of a couple weeks. she’s a fun coworker though, and will gladly make friends with anyone and everyone at all her jobs!!

friends! taeha is one of those helpful people who introduces herself to everybody so she can get work from them or just make the networking connection, but it means she’s severely lacking in friends her age. it’s hard to make lasting friends when you never settle down, after all

taeha occasionally gives private vocal lessons if she’s Really strapped for cash. maybe you’re one of her students, current or former, or you overhear her singing to herself and beg her to teach you how to sing. whatever works!!

realizing there was no point whining at taeha for the unfair card they'd been dealt by fate, she instead tugs an arm around the girl and gives her a good squish. at least if they were losing, they'd go down together.

"it's okay. we can't always win," she states mostly just to comfort taeha. despite being a rather competitive person, jaekyung knew when to take a step back to not upset those around her. so even if she didn't feel particularly great about losing again, she also realized that in the end no one cared. what mattered was the content they produced. after all this wasn't a survival show. thankfully.

"i guess we'll just have to keep hoping someone will take pity on us as we use our best puppy eyes on them," she muses, gaze out to potentially spot a willing target to their aegyo.

 The tarot card in her hands felt almost like being part of her body by now, after so many years being touched and analyzed and read… Taeha just loved how soothing it could be to just shuffle them, calmly, with no reason to rush. And it also helped her to concentrate sometimes.

“Have I ever done that for you?”, simply asked after a few minutes of an untroubled silence between them. “Tarot reading?”

She couldn’t quite remember if that ever happened. Taeha mostly did it for fun, for her own pure delight and her friend’s. But sometimes she could feel the room tensing up a bit or, even, getting ligther, for that matter. The cards, when in her hands, could make her sense the room better - or maybe it was just in her head. Still, the fact is Park TaeHa always loved to be able to read them and even learn more about it — especially because it’s a great way to get closer with other people.

hi legacy, it’s eri! ♡

i am back with a second muse already, and it’s only been a month. i’ve been working on this muse almost as long as i’ve had lgcjiae. he actually initially had a totally different fc but then i dreamed of choi san and bam! meet lgckiha or yoo kiha, a twenty two year old fourth year idol trainee from daegu with issues™ ( a lawful good aquarius who is an isfj-a ). i’ve actually redacted a lot of his biography for partial mysterious vibes so have fun with getting to know him. if you are interested in knowing what you can about kiha then you can check out his main pages here ( profile / biography ), but in usual eri fashion i’ve provided you with his life story and fun facts beneath the cut anyways. and unlike last time, i do have a connections page which is mostly angsty / long term / established plots that will require a good bit of plotting and will cause more mental anguish for kiha!!! hahahaha please, but i have got a few plot ideas under the cut too if you’re looking for something easier!

tl;dr on kiha!

born on february 13, 2000 in daegu, south korea to first time parents, later became a big (and extremely proud and protective) brother to yoo taeha who was born in april 2006!!!

grew up living with his parents, sister and paternal grandparents in a three bedroom house where they ran a small general goods stores from the first floor of their home

he was actually a really happy, vibrant kid growing up

( tw parent death ) his mom was killed in a car accident involving a drunk driver on christmas eve in 2010, kiha was 10 and taeha was 4 ( basically it really messed up everyone’s lives from there on out, i’ll elaborate in private if you wanna know more~ )

their father more or less checked out of his responsibilities where being a parent was concerned, so kiha and taeha were raised predominately by their grandparents for the rest of their childhood and into adolescence

( tw mental health / medication ) ended up attending therapy as a kid and ended up on medication ( he still attends therapy regular and still takes medication to this day, but he is extremely private about his life and doesn’t talk to anyone about any of this stuff )

started playing volleyball in middle school ( to make friends, work on socialising better, to find confidence and self love ) also volleyball is just really fun, kiha’s a libero

he ended up playing volleyball throughout high school and would of ended up playing into college if he hadn’t ended up at legacy / studying through a cyber university

started dancing at sixteen with the support of his grandparents and little sister ( turns out he had a great natural talent for dancing and was able to really work on his skills, was also something he was able to share with his little sister and it eventually led him to his current place at legacy )

graduated from high school and relocated to seoul to attend university ( and to escape his past / home life which was getting more turbulent and unhealthy as kiha got older )

auditioned for legacy in january 2020 on a whim and got in, was a little apprehensive at first but he really grew to love and appreciate the company ( and everyone at it lol )

between studying and training, he works part time at a convenience store near legacy, you’ll catch him there after training a couple of nights a week ( he works to keep a little for himself but mainly to support his sister ) 

he goes home every few weeks to visit his grandparents, sister and his mom in daegu when his schedule permits ( family is very important to him )

kiha fun facts!

he’s not shy, but he’s incredibly introverted 

great listener, not a great talker ( aka he talks when necessary )

kiha is super intelligent; he did really well in school and speaks 3ish languages

very organised and disciplined, makes him a great trainee but difficult to exist with

currently a junior (3rd year) studying korean literature at kyunghee cyber university

enjoys playing video games and building model kits in his spare time

he’s also an avid reader ( and secret writer what he writes about idk )

fitness king! is extremely athletic thanks to volleyball, but he also does run, bike ride and go to the gym, he usually runs in before he goes to legacy in the mornings!

kiha genuinely enjoys activities he can do by himself without other people

kiha would consider himself to be a cat person ( loves big dogs though )

Heyo! As mentioned by the manager post, Batter Up ! is back for it's third and final season! This trimester Taeha isn't limited on the number of threads she can have so let's go for all four episodes! You already know the drill, she's in need of four lucky guests in total! Welcome to Taeha's disaster bakery! In this YouTube variety show, Taeha invites her guests to a friendly bake-off where the recipes are made up and the taste doesn't matter ( although it probably should - ). In each episode, Taeha and her guest will go head-to-head on a short baking challenge. Winner of the challenge will receive a gift card for free pastries at the Legacy Cafe, while the loser will get caked ( i.e., a cake smash to the face ).

*ooc note: due to my chronic slowness ( ty to everyone who's been a guest so far your patience is unmatched ;; ), i've decided to do this last season a bit differently! threads will be kept relatively short, and each thread will start at a different time during filming ( meaning one lucky guest will finally get a chance to give taeha a good ol' cake smash!

With Halloween right around the corner, this episode is all about treats! They'll be creating spooky-themed cakes, that must incorporate at least 2 candy treats, like gummy worms and candy corn, while making sure they avoid a few tricks along the way! ( where you come in!: taeha and our guest have begun the challenge only to find that staff have left a few tricks for them - playful things like a ghost painted on the back of a mixing spoon, jello eyeballs in the fridge, or creepy music playing each time a certain cabinet is opened )

˗ˏˋ Episode 2: ...Honey, I shrunk the cake ! ( guest: @lgcgyuri )

In this episode, Taeha and her guest must create three-tiered miniature cakes using kid's cooking toys. The person who makes the tiniest, bite-sized cake wins! ( where you come in!: taeha and our guest are midway through the challenge when she realizes that she may have turned her mini oven up a bit too high... and forgot to remove the plastic spatula )

˗ˏˋ Episode 3: Oven's Turned Upside Down ! ( guest: @lgcryan )

In this episode Taeha and her guest must create an upside down cake, and no pineapples are required! Their cakes must have an element that looks inverted, like an upside down animal, an overturned teacup, or even a whole cake defying gravity. The person with the most unique cake, takes the win! ( where you come in!: taeha and our guest have finished their cake designs and are waiting for the staff to judge - oh, no. is your cake falling?! )

Yanno I might still be in the mood for venting but let me put this into writing here first.

If this drama didn’t end with SoohyukxSabin (for the sake of my soul) I’m gonna just write a fic where at the end of things (the matters with Seo Taeha’s revenge on Soohyuk being done away much earlier) at the final trial when Soohyuk closed the trial that gonna indict both Gong Inu and Baek Sanga with their crimes of murders, Jang Hyemi and Cheon Seoktae with their own murder-abetting crimes, obstruction of justice as well as manipulation of evidence... Soohyuk as the main prosecutor would turn around and confessing his own crimes but NOT without insisting that there is a need for the justice system to be revised in a way that there shouldn’t be a need any more prosecutors like him to take such drastic measures in order to make sure no criminal gets to be allowed to get lighter sentences simply for the lack of hard and strong evidence to fully incriminate the criminals for the crimes they committed. And then have Soohyuk/Hyungbin collapsed due to his heart finally giving up the fight because these past few eps have been very harrowing for him to bear by himself. And have Sabin, now equipped with Haeun’s memories being alarmed and worried for Soohyuk (as well as being burdened with guilt from her harsh treatment to him) as the man remained hospitalized due to a heart complication. And have Jongbum in last moments (cos what are the odds of brain surgery to remove the bullet to be highly successful?) decides to donate his heart to SOOHYUK as his final sacrifice. Cos yeah Jicheol/Jongbum’s last act in his life shouldn’t be REVENGE but a SACRIFICE instead.

Please remind me to do this in case the drama ending really gets awry. But it shouldn’t be a very long wait since the finale should be next week. Also choosing this song Fate by Lee Chansol to accompany this post since this song really felt it conveyed fully of Hyungbin/Soohyuk’s heartaches. (Though tbh some of these musing might not be possible to be aligned perfectly, but seriously if the ending didn’t come close to a happy ending for Soohyuk I’m not gonna be satisfied www)
