Jason dying was too horrible and though i kind of suspected Damian would die too, rose doing it ??? I partially understand but still - what a shocker. What’s gonna happen to her now? She gonna be a one eyed mercenary just like her dad was ?

Part of me lowkey expected rae to come back to life and her be with Damian, or maybe something like that but Damian dying too - everyone died wow

What a read - I know it was a tragedy by nature but still, what a beautiful and terribly heartbreaking story

As I said in previous Anon that I hate killing characters and bring them back, it's such an overused trope, and it removed the emotional impact of death as plot device. I'll further explain that Raven's death was meant to push Damian in direction to drive the plot to its intended end. Damian needed nothing left to lose in order to find himself there.

As for Rose, that was simply poetic justice, and I'm leaving that open so that I might revisit this story in the future.

Gifts are something foreign in the Edevane household.

It was never a love language to begin with, often instead resorting to words or a simple pat on the shoulder.

It's the void of that language that Ophelia grew up living with, and a reason why expectations are held so low on receiving, well, anything material. She doesn't outright asks, but the yearning seeps through the cracks every now and then. She wouldn't mind receiving a gift, even if it was something simple like a standard pencil, she would treasure it for life.

Alas, Ophelia knows the possibilities of such wishful thinking are just that, wishful thinking. No one's going to give the weird girl, who's into strong gore and monsters, something so pleasant.

Besides, trash deserves trash, right?

Ophelia blinks out of her confusion, as she looks up from the gift bag that you're currently showing her, then back to you. There is a smile on your face, excited and eager.

"I..." Ophelia starts, only to trail off for a moment as her confusion returns again. "Congratulations to you?"

"What? No." You huff, the hand holding the gift bag falling to your side as you pout. "I got you a gift, Ophelia."

Her eyebrows raise in both surprise and the still lingering confusion. "Oh."

Really? 'Oh'? That's it? Ophelia holds back the urge to grimace at herself. Gods above, why is she so awkward? Why did the Pantheon made her to be awkward?

"You sound disappointed." You say, more of an observation than taking offense.

"No, I'm just—!" Ophelia vaguely made some gestures as she tries to grasp her next words. "—just surprised... and confused. Why give me a gift...?"

"Well, I just want to." You simply state, smile returning and offered up the gift bag. "Here. I hope you like it."

Hesitantly, Ophelia's hands reach out, gingerly taking the gift bag from your hand. She opens it, both not expecting much, yet at the same time curious to what it is.

Oh.

This is...

She pulls out a set of charcoal pencils from the gift bag. It's an expenive set, with metal case and brand name in gold, and all.

"How..." She looks at you, eyes wide in disbelief. "How did you get this? Don't tell me you loaned from Fleur."

"Oh gods no!" You exclaim immediately. "I'd still be paying her until my death bed because of how much interest it'll stack. I just saved up my allowance for a while." You simply shrug. "I saw you eyeing it a few weeks ago, so I just thought, why not surprise you?"

Ophelia frowns a bit. "You really didn't have to do that. I could've just bought them on my own."

"Well, yeah, but I did it anyway." You grin at her, hands on your waist now. "I got them, because I know that brand of charcoal pencils are your favorite."

Ophelia stands there for a moment, staring at you in shock. Her head dips down to her chest not too long after, the tip of her ears reddening heavily.

"You're forever going to be an enigma to me." Ophelia mumbles out.

🍟 FRIES - do they order food often? or they prefer to cook their own food? Pandora enjoys cooking because she knows it's healthier but she would love to just order out more.

☕️ HOT BEVERAGE - do they prefer hot or cold drinks? what is their favourite drink? Zaxton likes hot drinks more. He enjoys drinking tea and his favorite one is Oolong tea.

🍁 MAPLE LEAF - what is their favourite season? why? Simon's favorite season is winter. He loves when it snows and he can build a snowman.

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people? Zaxton doesn't like his werewolf side to show too much. His kids and wife have seen it but anyone else he won't reveal it to.

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them? For Ophelia, I decided that I wanted her to have vitiligo like her father and these really nice eyes that have a touch of yellow in them. Zaxton was because I wanted to explore a werewolf storyline, but that whole shit got shut down because my save got deleted. I wanted Simon to have heterochromia because it's been a while since my sims have that.

👑 CROWN - what does your oc want to be remembered as? why? Percy hopes one day to create a comic book and he wants to be known as like the greatest comic book artist that's ever lived.

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people? It's extremely easy for Pandora. She can handle people talking all the shit they want about her, but never talk about her family even her foster children.

❄️ SNOWFLAKE - do people consider them cold? if so, what made them this way? People might consider Simon to be cold. He’s a very sweet and caring person but being stuck in a system that feels like it’s made to bring him down made him that way.

🌟 GLOWING STAR - what do they think about when they look at the night sky? is there someone they want to star gaze with? As deep of a topic as this might be Pandora sometimes wonders about life after death or if there is more out there. Ophelia and Pandora both used to stare gaze together, but it stopped as Ophelia started getting her own friends and life. She hopes to do that again with her daughter.

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right? That Ophelia's pretty damn mean. She assumes it's because of her resting bitch face.

❤️ RED HEART - their love language(s)? Zaxton is physical touch. He loves holding hands, giving hugs, kisses for his wife, and pecks on the cheek for his children. Pandora is quality time she loves to spend as much time as possible with the people she cares about the most. Ophelia loves doing gifts usually these are done with a thought in mind but sometimes it’s simple I think they’ll like this. Percy is sort of like his dad and a bit of compliment and reassurance.
