she says nothing, simply wiping the blood and sweat off his face, his arms.... the bruises color his pale skin blue and purple. it takes ann all of her power to not cry in frustration, in /anger/, at the people who treated him so disgustingly. and he looked so tired... oh, so tired. she presses her lips against where his cheek was free of any injury, in fear of hurting him further. ‘ ...i was so scared i wasn’t going to see you after that. ’

Consistent stings and aches happen all over the male’s body, his nerves screaming in constant pain from the amount of absolute torture that he went through. His cheek was swollen and the bruises almost seemed to multiply every time someone else looked at him.

Akira winced just from the delicate touch from the other, eyes dull from the extreme aggression that came from the corrupted officers. He reached up and pulled his hood down, and then closed his eyes in a bit of essence to relax. At least he could do that now. But he could see the disdain from Ann’s face – the venom she was holding back.

“–sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you…” It’s all he can manage to get out before he finds himself over the booth’s table in exhaustion. “I’m just glad to be home…”

“Futaba,” the boy’s voice came out from the other side of the door, “Come on. You can’t chicken out of this now. We’re just going to the shrine, it’s no different than the electronics store... okay, it doesn’t have electronics, but still.” Akira sighs as he sat outside of her door. “If you don’t hurry, it’s going to rain.”

“Alright, seriously...?” Akira stares at the girl next to him, after seeing her take another bite out of his dessert. “I offered to get you another one, why are you eating all of mine? This crepe is mine, Ann. Come on.” Rolling his eyes, he just relinquishes the treat to her in surrender.

That seems to be too clear cut.” Akira’s questioning because he’s a bit curious, and also because he’s unsure what he himself wants to do after everything with school is over. “I personally have no clue what I want...”

“Enjoying the coffee?” The idol question breaks the silence of the small shop, considering that only the two of them were in there, with Morgana upstairs in his room, sleeping. The TV’s low volume didn’t amount to much background noise. “If you want another cup, you can say so.” Leaning against the counter top, the make fixed his glasses as he stared down the other. “You’re looking stressed.”

Despite the boy being on probation and him particularly needing to be careful, he still found himself looking at books in a just in case situation. Causing any trouble would send him straight to juvenile, but if he was going to go at the first sign of problems, he might as well defend himself too. In the book store, Akira scans around the bookshelves, before backing up carelessly and knocking someone over -- a young girl with brown hair. Trouble, meet Akira.

“--sorry, sorry, are you alright?” A hand reaches out quickly -- he’s trying to save face and hope they don’t file a report on him being disruptive.

“Makoto, are you... really afraid of the dark?” The question came out of seemingly nowhere, and the male takes his glasses off, taking his cloth and wiping them. “I’m not judging you if you are... I just didn’t think you would be... Is there a reason..?”

“You know, I just realized,” came the voice of the male, sitting behind Ann in class as the teacher stepped out and away by getting called out, “We’re not going to have gym for a while, are we? With Kamoshida gone... Not that I’m complaining. I hated the gym uniform, if I’m being honest.”

There’s already enough questioning going around as is with the Phantom Thieves’ name being so popular, so this new detective floating around wherever Akira seemingly went was definitely giving him some red flags. Stopping into Big Bang Burger on his way home, he sits down and calls over to the woman.

“--Hey, you’re from Shujin, aren’t you? The one doing their own investigation of the Phantom Thieves...?”
