Y’all I cannot stop thinking about the PLA verse for the angels and like...if in this verse DP is alternate timeline Pit in an even more literal sense, some REALLY bad shit would have to have happened for him to have ended up as different as he is from Pit,,,,, like. I’m not totally decided on whether he also was aligned with Palutena in his own timeline or was just with Viridi from the start, but since everyone has to be human in this AU because god is a Pokémon, my immediate thought is that DP lost Palu / Viridi in his own timeline and that’s why he kicks it solo for a while in the new timeline. He doesn’t wanna get attached again so that’s why he adopts the whole “I’m neutral and I work alone and serve only my own interests” thing in this verse

Working on a reply and thought back to when I tried to come up with a given name for Pit’s human verses, and I landed on the most extra name possible. And my mind wandered to “I wonder how he got from Petros to Pit in those verses?”

This would have to vary by verse probably but for the Japanese speaking ones (pla, nge, pmmm), ペトロス Petorosu would probably be shortened to ペト Peto, which is REALLY close to ペット petto, or “pet”

So rather than just getting called “pet” by all his peers he went with Pit instead FALJDKSGDJFG

I’m like. Brainstorming for Pit and Dark Pit’s Pokémon verses now. Because Volo has that STRONG Greek motif + has Celestica blood, which. Probably means Pit and Dark Pit are Celestica descendants? Which also also validates my take I posted forever ago that “oh lol Hisui would probably be the best fit for Pit and Dark Pit’s Pokémon verses for no other reason than it’s in the past.” I was more on the nose than I thought /lh

My only hesitation though is, I like standard Decidueye and Galarian Rapidash for these two. Especially the former because standard Decidueye’s shiny is black which I thought fit Dark Pit really well. On one hand, the two of them could still have standard Decidueye in this time period, since the dex entry for Hisuian Decidueye says “evolution is influenced by environment,” which implies that standard Decidueye also exists when PLA happens? As opposed to it being like “Hisui Decidueye evolved into standard Decidueye over time.” Theoretically Hisui Decidueye could still exist in the modern day in Sinnoh and just be called Sinnohan Decidueye. But on the other hand the smaller wings and proficiency in land combat are also a vibe.....hhhh it’s just a question of "if I put them in Hisui, do I want Dark Pit to have a black Decidueye badly enough to try and justify it lore wise.” Totally at a loss for Galarian Rapidash though. I’m more willing to bend on that one but hhhh pastel unicorn go brrr

Regional form crisis aside though, I totally love the idea of Pit and Dark Pit being wardens in some capacity. It Just Makes Sense given the lord/ride Pokémon have divine blessings so for the angels to watch over those kinds of Pokémon just. Fits. The only issue is that all ten nobles have wardens canonically already so I have no idea how I’d begin to work that LSHDFKJLANDKGJ

Carrd update!

Pit and Dark Pit’s Pokémon verses are up. Their main verses are PLA-based, but they also have alternative modern SV verses available because fuck you I do what I want. These are two separate verses; they’re not connected by ancestor stuff. The PLA stuff is still being workshopped and might have minor tweaks as time goes on, but the main info is there.

Kyouhei’s PLA verse is up.

Some muses have been shuffled around between primary and secondary status.
