Hey, guys! My doggy is at the vet right now under observation. You may have seen me post or talk about her before. Her name is Nova and she’s three years old. She’s had blood work, abdominal x-rays, and she’s going to be kept under observation until they can find out what’s wrong with her. She’s stumbling, can’t hold her head up well, isn’t as responsive as usual, and we could just visually tell she’s hurting. I’m a broke college student with multiple jobs and an almost maxed out credit card (that I use for mostly groceries and gas). Anything “fun” I’ve bought recently I’ve cancelled or plan on re-selling. This is just the estimate so far, and they may choose to keep her under observation or run more tests which means the price goes up. I just hope she doesn’t need anything surgical. My best guess as to what is wrong with her is that our neighbors on one side tried to feed her something to hurt her. They’ve hated her because she’s a loud, big girl since they moved in a couple months ago. I’ve caught them making fun of her, throwing things at her, etc. If you are able to help I would greatly appreciate it because as much as I want to be the best pet parent, I am poor. My roommate moved out suddenly a couple months back and all of the bills fell on me. Up until now I’ve been struggling, but managing. I’m just very broke and I hate asking for help, but please help if you can.
