Calla was Lila's fairy godmother in agos and made her have an unexpected Cinderella moment when she wanted a disguise to attend the party. Calla believed Lila wanted to get pretty for Kell because she assumed they were together so she gave her the dress and did her hair and make up and subtly told her: go get him, tiger <3 Bring Kell's guard down he will fall even more for you it will make him look stupid and at the end of the night he would 100% want to rip this dress off you like the feral kitties that you both are
after some research I figured out that the flowers at the end of Haruka's fourth focus song preview are pink periwinkle.
periwinkle (in a non-religious context) can symbolize (keep in mind I'm going off Western definitions):
-everlasting love
-reminiscence about time with loved ones
-achieving your dreams and reaching full potential
This really was our Haruka Kiritani. Like, besides the blue iris, this IS the Haruka Kiritani flower. I'm going to be sick. Haruka Kiritani WHEN I GET YOU
of course she hasn't been avoiding them. well, aside from the obvious: that she most likely ruined her best friendship in favor of a stupid one night stand. oh, and they live together, as if it couldn't get any worse. it's a line that they had never crossed, no matter how much nadine might have thought about it before, and in the after math she worries that she shouldn't have crossed it at all. she spends the next day out of the apartment, first and work and then...anywhere else. by the time she finally arrives it's late into the night and she has a box of cupcakes as a...peace offering? apology? though what she could be apologizing for, she isn't really sure. is an 'i'm sorry we had sex but it was great' cake appropriate? no? cupcakes will have to do.
she makes her way inside, leaving her shoes by the door as she goes to look for them. there's a chance she's not actually all that good at avoiding, considering that she's searching them out. when she doesn't find them in the common rooms she finds herself knocking on the door instead, balancing the box of sweets in her other hand. "hey? are you um...awake?" maybe she shouldn't be bothering them. she cringes at the sound of her own voice.
Some people feel uncomfortable writing their muses as kids but I will have little Jace bring your muse flowers, or ask to play with dragon toys, or ask to train with swords, OR ASK ABOUT OLD BATTLES/TOURNEYS, or anything for a cute little thread that doesn't have to have a lot of weight but can build some kind of dynamic that can be touched upon in later threads when both muses are older and surrounded by situations that have actual weight on them. Like what happened to little threads that don't exactly have a huge part of the plot but can build a relationship between muses?
*There was only so much of the display going on in the front seat that Kim could stomach before her temper would start flairing; it was sickeningly cute, sure, but the music? Not to Kim's taste. She was lamenting having stashed her headphones and player away with each passing second.*
*Kim looked to her left, eyeing Ramona and Scott to gauge how they were fairing. Scott seemed to be off in his own world for now- which was good. They'd be at this for a while yet, so she'd take the peace while she had it. And Ramona was reading... something, to be sure. Kim tilted her head and leaned forward a little, trying to catch the title; Slaughterhouse Five? She wasn't overly familiar with it, but she did remember a little something she'd maintained.*
*She hesitates briefly, not quite sure if she wants to interrupt the other woman, but eventually leans towards her, trying to keep her voice low enough not to reach the front seat.*
Something you'd usually read, or do you just have an eye for Pilgrims?
by nature , she is a humble goddess . the line between divinity && humanity is considerably thin when you are born from a feeling ; an ideal that came from those that worshipped her long ago . perhaps knowing this is why spring feels so close to them . why she is so willing to aid them without ever revealing herself ; without tribute , without acknowledgment . there are greater things beyond her , && she is but a tiny part of it .
so it isn't often now that she is called for directly by name .
still , spring doesn't appear in grandeur or blinding light , but as a fellow woman that stumbled upon this ritual with maladroit grace . would the witch know her ? she greets her warmly && almost shyly .
"I need to rein it in, I don't know the characters yet, so I won't write fic about them- it'd just end up being out of character anyway."
(proceeds to write like four pages)
"well, okay, that's.... fine, it's ambiguous enough, they barely speak. but i won't mention the kind of tattoos this character is supposed to have without seeing what options I have for them in the cc, just to keep things neat and canon-accurate."
(proceeds to spend like half an hour brainstorming ideas for exactly that)
A concept I have dubbed the Friendship Bracelet Chronicles:
One day Solomon gives Ik a bunch of his old human-world things that he has no need for anymore. Mixed up in that collection is a box of some very pretty colorful thread. It'd be a shame to let that all go to waste, so Ik has an idea. She's gonna make friendship bracelets!
The bracelets are made and distributed to resounding success. Mammon cries. Belphie will kill you if you spill something on his. Diavolo won't take it off even for Very Important Announcements. Simeon wears his on top of his gloves even though it's a horrible fashion statement because he loves it with all his heart.
Ik thinks that's the end of it. Boy is she wrong.
One day Satan gives her a friendship bracelet of his own. He's made it with the same color Ik used for his bracelet along with little cat-shaped beads. Cute! Ik wears it proudly.
Then Levi notices and by the next day, he's made one with a goldfish charm. Then there's one from Mammon. Then Asmo. Then Beel. Then Belphie. And for a while that's it. Until one day at the breakfast, Lucifer walks in, and presents Ik with the most fancily woven bracelet so far. It's got little music notes embroidered into it. How the FUCK
It only escalates from there. The other exchanges won't ket their best friend status be encroached on and oh you know Diavolo has to get in on this! By the end of it Ik is wielding twelve bracelets, seven on one wrist and five on the other, and the others keep bickering about whose bracelet is higher in the pecking order
Imagine the added chaos if the newspaper club and season 4 trio got in on this....
this whole thing is so cute oml
om mephistopheles meets ik and when she shakes his hand he looks down and sees diavolo's friendship bracelet practically GLOWING up at him and he's just floored by the sight of it. meanwhile raphael thinks that the many bracelets are like, combat cuffs, and is extremely on-guard until simeon explains things to him
thirteen would be the first of the new trio to make ik a bracelet after becoming friends! it's pink-purple with little skulls and butterflies and bells that make it jingle. then raphael comes along with a pretty laurel pattern (painstakingly embroidered, because he's so good at that kind of thing). eventually, not to be outdone, mephistopheles produces a very elaborate silver thread one that looks like a dragon wrapping around your wrist
ik has to continuously rotate the order she wears her bracelets in because otherwise the others start play-bickering (and then real-bickering) about which one's the favourite
@r3dblccd wanted a starter !!
the muse they wanted: raphael, heaven's original idiot
" mrithun, are you in? " he called out into the store, careful of the vials and little magical items surrounding him as he gently closed the door with his foot behind him. his arms were full between the bags and flowers he carried. it became an awful of habit of his to bring in flowers when he visited his boyfriend. " i brought some food for lunch if you're not too busy. " he explained as he had shuffled up to the counter, easy to not bang into anything on the way. when he had made it to mrithun, raphael held out the small bouquet of luscious red roses - similar to the ones that were picked when they first met. " it's warmer today, so i figured something light and cool would be nice while you're working, hm? "
Defeating the Nightmare from someone's soured dream felt normal last night. She may not have done the real fighting that night, but turning her shield to freeze time for the others felt... right. Working together to defeat Hitomi's Nightmare tonight and staying with the others to witness the beauty of dawn also felt rewarding and quite nice, but... The way the morning sun cleansed their soul gems after a long night, however, is what bothered her.
In the back of her mind, she felt like she should be looking for something as soon as they turned Hitomi's Nightmare into a sweet dream. She, however, could not find what she was searching for. It was almost as if she expected the Nightmare to... drop something. She wasn't sure what, but this sensation awakened everything inside her. Bells were ringing in her mind the more she dwelled on this weird topic, but she didn't understand what was wrong.
Homura kept on looking around at civilians. They walked and behaved as normally as ever, but... She noticed their faces looked weird. Have their faces always looked like that? Homura wandered the streets, slowly discovering that more and more people were beginning to look weird. No one she has seen yet had a normal face, she noticed. Did these people notice that they weren't looking like themselves? She thought about walking up to one of them, but crippling society anxiety kept her aimlessly walking in total silence. She didn't want to go home yet. It was going to be empty, anyway.
That's when she found one person with a normal face. He had the most brightest of eyes, she noticed from afar. Part of her wanted to get a closer look at them. He was looking over at the hanging menu from one of the many city's cafés, lost in thought. He was grinning, however. The look of hunger mingled with excitement in his eyes. His happiness, at least to her, felt like a warm flame. He was now talking to the person behind the counter as if it was the most normal thing ever...
It was almost as if he saw their face.
Why? Why was she the only one who was seeing things? Not only that, but why was she feeling such strange sensations? Why did something feel so wrong?
He looks happy... Homura distantly thinks to herself, remembering to keep her distance. Homura stands in her spot, quietly observing him. He looked familiar the longer she stared at him. Maybe something is wrong with... me?
"wet chick" doesn't even come close to basang sisiw despite being a literal translation but anyway I just think Abyss Aether is a basang sisiw sometimes when the camera isn't rolling and no one (except maybe Enjou) is looking
