Rain Fall

( a short about Suraya and freedom)

It's raining.

Back in her own home, in her mansion among the bright lights of Lumiose City, when it rained she could stay inside, head in her studies, the soothing pattering of the rain fall helping her focus. She never really felt the rain for herself, not back in the city. It was either her in her house, or her shielding herself with her barriers or umbrella.

But now? Right now, she stands in the rain. Her head arced upward towards the sky, her eyes closed as she felt the rain come down on her. The heaviness of her clothes, her hair sticking on her neck....she never felt this before. Not like this, anyway. She knew Leo was watching, possibly worried for her well being. Or maybe he knew she needed this. She doesn't know, and she doesn't want to bother with her aura right now. So she just stands there. Letting the rain fall on her. It's an odd feeling. Freeing, even. She hasn't been free in a long time has she?

She swallows a small sob, letting that emotion run through her. The rain can hide the tears. Not that she would want to hide them. And as it falls, both the rain and her emotions, she smiles. It's warm, bright, free.

Dexin

Hi! Me again! I’m gonna be filling in for this one as Dex rarely comes out, and when he does he doesn’t really do much.

Dexin’s kind of a god? I suppose? We don’t really know what it is, but it’s here. It’s pretty active in our. Headspace? I think? But that’s the only place.

The main thing for it is that it’s more sensitive to our body than Ana up there is, so when it comes out, it really doesn’t like it. The form it usually takes in our headspace has no eyes or nose, and it’s pretty upsetting for it to come out and suddenly have a full face. Sounds a little silly, I know, but that’s the reason it doesn’t ever stay out long. I don’t think it likes seeing itself as a human and being unable to change that, which is. Fair, honestly. I don’t like being human either, but alas.

It/It’s for sure, we’re currently seeing if it likes anything else.

I shifted several things from the original design. Mainly it’s the plant-like wings on the left side, I’ve added more layers to it in order to create a shape that will compliment well with his arm.
