asli hoped that she was hallucinating. surely her rival couldn't be huntsville at the same time; of all the places in the whole world, asli never expected to see them here. and yet, no matter how hard she pinched her arm over and over, kiara's frame didn't disappear from her eyesight. after a moment, the dancer approached her former colleague, one eyebrow lifting as she let out a dramatic sigh.

"I think my parents have always been like that, JJ... Seriously, you don't have to worry. They're all talk but they'd never really send me away into a hell hole," Kiara reassured him. She'd seen him speaking to Mike in heated up moods, and she'd overheard her name on it. Her parents were restrictive, even, but Kiara tried not to take everything they said seriously. "They keep threatening me with this but they can't really do anything if I choose not to go. But why are you here? Were you having some sort of talking with my dad?"

Kiara Redfort made her way along the narrow halls of Maegor's Holdfast. It was early in the morning, the sunlight peaked through the rounded windows of the keep. In these trying times, even the simplest of pleasures made a person feel at ease. Quickly, the maiden made her way to the Queen's chamber with her breakfast. Kiara was a handmaiden to Queen Haelena Targaryen, a white haired beauty with amethyst eyes. Some may consider these thoughts inappropriate, but Kiara never expressed them aloud. She had been a servant to Haelena since they were children, and in that time they had grown quite close. Kiara dared to even consider her a friend.

Which is why her duty broke her heart. Her house declared for Rhaenyra when she was crowned by her father, the late king Viserys. But since then, the tide changed. The Hightower's inserted themselves in all aspects of the kingdom, and with that came tension with the true heir. One day, Kiara was unexpectedly summoned to Dragonstone. The Rouge prince and the Princess Rhaenyra awaited her, with a task. Spy on the Greens, report anything and everything to Dragonstone when in a safe place. Her cover would be to return to King's Landing, under the guise of a servant.

Kiara entered the room quietly, as to not disturb the still sleeping twins. "Good morrow, your grace." Kiara greeted the Queen, before placing the food on the table. "Would you like me to dress the children, your Grace?" // @sclitvde

jj was trying; he was trying to be a better person for kiara. ever since they got back from el dorado things were different. he and kie were trying the whole boyfriend and girlfriend thing out, and it wasn't as easy as everyone might think it was. he was trying not to slip back into his old ways, and thankfully, every time he could feel himself falling, kiara was right there to pick him back up. the blonde male had scoped her house out, making sure her parents weren't home before he entered the house to find her. "kie!" he called out as he headed for the stairs to check if she was in her room.

      kiara shifted slightly as she studied him and rose an eyebrow. “good to know you can’t get me out of your head.” she replied with a cheeky grin as she tucked her hair behind her ear. “so what exactly are you suggesting? cause you’re the one who said we couldn’t be together after almost getting caught by mom. what are you gonna do divorce her?” she asked as she stepped closer to him tilting her head to look up at him. “i’m not sure i want to be your dirty little secret anymore.” she whispered leaning up on her toes like she was going to kiss him but not touching him.

the framework for tonight had been entirely formulaic, plotted down to every minor detail. a celebratory night in, complete with baz luhrmann’s romeo + juliet and both girl’s favorite snacks, would keep both nala and kiara safe behind locked doors in a way that filled their emotional cup. with simba and kion in the next room, all of them settled and safe under the same roof ... scar could knock on the door and nala’s confidence would soar. bring it on.

it'd been a while since asli had last seen kiara, but she hadn't been avoiding her. instead life had just gotten busy, and these days asli actually found herself smiling. it was funny how things could change in such a short amount of time. that's why, when she happened upon kiara, asli left the happy expression on her features.
