Idea: Yuu gets caught up in some circumstances involving Floyd and mates with him. Fully expecting rough ✨️fun✨️. Waiting to stop him for hurting them. Never does. Floyd starts with pleasuring his soon-to-be-mate, preparing them, and THEN penetrates. Catches them off guard, but they love it.

Cut to the next morning. Floyd panics 'cause oh shit, goes, "well, I'm not gonna be a bad mate, so I have other things to do!" (Internally), makes Yuu breakfast, is super gentle. They're stunned, because isn't Floyd the rough one? Not with them!

They go to class and get in a fight with Ace (didn't sleep well) who slaps them on the way to lunch and goes to the infirmary with a crushed windpipe. Ace is fine, and Yuu realizes Floyd is very protective. Cue human falling for moray head over heels.

Aaa! So cute!! Floyd has always been known to be rough, both above and under the sea. But once someone has taken his interest, especially as a potential mate, there's an obvious change. Not a personality change, he's still as Floyd as ever. But the morning after reveals a much softer side to him.

He's offering you a sweet breakfast, which was confusing as you expected him to kinda…yeet out. He keeps talking about mating, the irony of you being his Shrimpy, and handing a protective arm over you as you ate in bed. It's a surprise, and it continues as you two head off to class later on. He's still handing a protective arm over you, other students giving you two a wide berth to walk through the hallways.

When Floyd sees you off, Jade comes by to walk to class with his brother, he makes an offhanded comment about Floyd being a rather protective mate. It doesn't really click with you until later, when you and Ace are arguing, with him smacking the top of your head.

It was meant to be playful. It was meant to be a gesture between bickering friends.

So Floyd's had coming up behind Ace, grabbing his hand and squeezing until you hear a crunch, was a horrifying surprise. Floyd's confused himself when you're frantically yelling at him for hurting your friend, rushing Ace over to the infirmary as Floyd follows, calling out about how “It's my job to protect my mate! He hit you! That's not allowed!”

Ace, ultimately, is fine. One of the benefits of magical worlds is that things like broken bones are relatively easy to fix. Ace will have to wear a cast for a few days, just to give the magic some time to heal his bones back into place. And he's pissed at Floyd, but also at you for not mentioning that you mated with the stupidly tall merman.

He has to explain, “I heard merfolk are super overprotective with their mates, they'll get into all sorts of fights for them. Man, if I'd known you were with Floyd like that, I'd have never smacked you.”

So you have an eel bodyguard of a boyfriend? You can't deny that the thought makes you a little warm. Floyd, being so soft to you, and only you, while he roughhoused with everyone else. You should run to Floyd to shower him with affections. He's still pretty pouty about you yelling at him.

TTDV stands for Through the Desert Vast. It's a new slate series everyone's going bee-brained over... I haven't read it yet because I prefer for a series to be finished before reading, but I've heard good things. Queer rep within the first couple chapters of the first slate-set, a non-traditional setting and cast (a rogue group living in the desert), and complex characters... needless to say I'm excited for when it finishes and I can read it!

IT'S TIME TO DISCUSS TFE S2A!!!

SPOILERS...OBVIOUSLY...

First of all, despite what some TFE fans have said, I gotta say, S2A has heavily exceeded my expectations! I was nervous because it did not get marketed enough (wtf Paramount+??!!) and because of the early rumours regarding certain things happening. But I thoroughly enjoyed most of the episodes (even the trailer filler episode). It really felt like I was watching S1A all over again. I found S2A refreshing and wholesome.

Here is a scattered list of some of the many moments/things that stood out to me...

AHHH! MO'S BRAIDS! Gah! I love them so much! I absolutely love her new hairstyle in season 2. Okay spacebuns! 🥰 Our little sweetie has grown up a bit and her new hairstyle looks so nice! I really like the attention to detail on her braids, her edges and baby hairs. You can tell that the character designers actually did their research on black hairstyles, and I really appreciate that because so many shows get it so wrong and they are just downright disrespectful.

SHOCKWAVE'S HESITATION!!!! HE HAD A CLEAR SHOT AND HE WAS GOING TO ATTACK, but then he just...didn't.

I was wondering how the weird tension between Shockwave, the Terrans and Malto Kids would be resolved. In S1C we see Shockwave working with the Terrans and Malto Kids to help take down Croft and her army. But you can tell that this was mainly because they shared a common enemy and because the season was ending.

But now even with Shockwave working under Starscream's command, he still hesitated and just let Twitch and Robby pass. He had the element of surprise, he watched them steal the shards and he could have easily ambushed them. He just...didn't. I am hoping that this gets explored further in the season and we get more of Shockwave.

BREAKDOWN CALLING AFTERMATH 'SON'!!! 🥺🥺🥺 And calling him kid!!! 🥺🥺🥺 I don't know, this is just so adorable to me. Regardless of the faction, clearly all the Cybertronians view the Terrans as children. Even though I found Aftermath to be very irritating, I thought it was really sweet how fast Breakdown tried to protect him and how he had grown to care for him. That fake father/son montage and the 'son' bomb took me out. I was laughing so hard. 🤣

✨️ALEX MALTO'S MAGICAL BOY TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE!!!✨️

I kid you not, I had to pause the episode because I was laughing so hard! I could not breathe! 🤣 It was so sudden! It was so smooth! Alex was READY! You know he's been waiting for the day that he can finally reveal his Magical Boy uniform! I love it! Everyone's reaction was perfect! Megatron was so done with Alex. 🤣

And Nightshade giving their father a boost after Alex struggled to climb up the wall during the race is just so wholesome! 🥺 I'm so glad we got to see more of Alex interacting with his children in this batch of episodes. He gave so much enthusiastic, concerned, loving dad energy in this batch of episodes, it was beautiful.

TWITCH VS SPITFIRE!!!

That was so intense! It was really cool seeing them fight and use their different abilities against each other. Seeing Twitch get competitive with her basically evil twin sister was fun to watch. Twitch's competive nature really came out because THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!! Loll despite how hard Twitch had to fight, she definitely proved to Spitfire and to herself that she is the 'better drone'. I found it interesting that instead of Robby being the one to point out that Twitch is really Spitfire, it was actually Wheeljack. It was nice that he used his Dad 2 nickname to confirm his suspicions. He's clearly taken a liking to it. ☺️But I'm glad that Robby had his moment to determine which Twitch is the real Twitch.

Swindle interacting with a human and not trying to squish the human??? Yeah, I was shocked when I watched 'The Butterfly Effect' and saw Swindle interacting with Fairmaestro. But then seeing Swindle basically try to swindle Fairmaestro was the perfect 'Aha!' moment.

I really like TFE's version of Cosmos, and I wish he had more than one appearance in this batch of episodes! He just disappeared after his debut episode, but I wanted more of him! His design is very nice too. He is a perfect round boi. But how the heck did he get captured by Fairmaestro? How long was he under his control? If he joined the Autobots after the Maltos rescued him, why wasn't he in any other episodes with the other Autobots? 🤔 But also, I love the way he handled Fairmaestro and dumped his ass in the dunk tank. Since Fairmaestro easily escaped Jon's custody, I wonder if we'll see more of him.

Starscream as the main antagonist. Hmmm. I gotta say, while it's refreshing that we finally got a new main villain, it's also disappointing that it ended up being Starscream. Starscream caused so much chaos in S2A and sure, it's Starscream. What do you expect? He's always been untrustworthy, violent and unpredictable. But really? Did he seriously have to go back to being the villain after he had a bonding moment with Hashtag? After he worked with the Malto family because he realized that there are much larger threats out there. I'm assuming that he had to fuck up shit in the beginning of season 2 to make way for a serious redemption arc later on. I assume an even bigger threat will enter the scene soon. I sure hope so, because Screamy hit an all time low when he brutally took out the Chaos Terrans. That was just...wow. 😨

Dot Malto being the 'villain' and spraying her kids with the hose during the competition was hilarious. We love a good badass mom moment. 🤭

Contrary to what some people have said, I actually don't mind the Malto Kids at all, or their new power upgrades. They've dealt with so much shit in S1, so it only makes sense that they will eventually get some upgrades and powers to help protect themselves. They act like how kids their age would act irl, so of course they're going to have their annoying, problematic moments where they get themselves into a lot of trouble. The only difference is, they have a lot more sense and they acknowledge when it's time to stop and get serious. Even though it's really obvious that TFE is marketed towards kids, I like that it puts emphasis on family, teamwork, and it has its fair share of cheesy moments. It's very reminiscent of TFA.

I really enjoyed Hashtag and Mo's bonding episode. Even though Robby and Mo have a strong connection to Twitch and Thrash because they are the first Terrans that were born, it's nice to see the Malto Kids interact with their other Terran siblings as well. We almost always see Mo with Thrash or Robby with Twitch, so to see different dynamics among the Terrans and their human siblings is refreshing. And yessss! Hashtag calling Mo her little big sister and Mo calling Hashtag her big little sister is just too great!

Hashtag's new alt mode is so shiny! I love it! It's a nice upgrade, and I like her new root mode design too. I thought it was interesting that she got a new virtual assistant with her systems upgrade.

Cyber-syncing!!! I feel like it was only a matter of time before it was introduced. Something tells me that we're going to have more moments when cyber-syncing will be needed to take down a foe. It was an interesting addition to the Terrans and Malto Kids' existing abilities. I wonder if we'll see more cyber-syncing combos, like maybe a Hashtag/Nightshade/Robby/Mo combo. Or a Jawbreaker/Twitch/Robby/Mo combo. Or just more cyber-syncing in general. I did find Jawbreaker's sync with Aftermath to be very forced and unnecessary. I get that he felt left out in that episode, but it just feels like it was so unnecessary to the plot and it just felt like bad comedy relief.

Overall, I actually really enjoyed S2A. There were only a few episodes and moments that I found meh, but for the most part it was a good watch and it's about to be on repeat while I patiently wait for Transformers One and S2B to come out.

Cecil: 🔍🧩

The magnifying glass is because it's an item often associated with detectives, and he happens to own one himself in the form of an antique necklace. Tho that one is mostly for decoration/aesthetic. As for the puzzle piece, every mystery is like a puzzle, with clues as its pieces, so I thought it would go well with his character.

Laurel: 🌻🥇

She gets a sunflower because despite her name being Laurel, I associate her with sunflowers a lot (and I couldn't find any laurel wreaths in my emojis 😔) She was a positive force in both Reborn's and Cecil's lives and in general she had a very bright personality. As for the 1st place metal, laurel wreaths were known as symbols of victory in ancient Greece, so I thought it was a fitting nod to her name. Like Reborn, she was triumphant in a lot of her endeavors as well.

Alycia: 🪻☠️

Alycia gets the purple flower because I associate her with a few purple flowers---deadly nightshade (belladonna) and clematis in specific. The skull and cross bones is because they're a popular symbol often used to indicate poison. I thought it was pretty fitting for her since that is her specialty.

Early Life

Vance and Rory Nightshade were born as twins to a teen mom. Their father was abusive towards them, but kind and sweet to their mother. He made them do difficult and dangerous jobs that should have been left to adults, where they both got a lot of scars and permanent bruises. When they were 7, Vance met his childhood best friend, Charlie. The two quickly got very close.

Things turn

Almost a year after they met, Vance and Rorys' mother died in a train wreck. This made thir father even angrier (like shinjuro). The night their mom died, Vance and Rory decided to run away. They were only fed once a week and had bruises and cuts everywhere from their father. The night was rainy, and as Vance was trying to convince Charlie to run away with them, he fell to the ground. His father had stabbed Charlie through the chest. Vance, Rory, and their father stood there, processing what had happened. But, to break their silence, Uzui had rounded the corner and stopped when he saw the scene. He clearly looked like he was fighting a demon. He backtracked to quickly decapitate the demon, and when he came back, he lifted all three boys and ran away. Obviously there's a lot of dialogue but there are many reasons I'm not writing any

Training

Uzui introduced Vance and Rory to ubayashiki, asking for advice. He ended up taking both boys as his tsugukos. He originally tried training them in sound breathing, but upon realizing that neither had any musical experience, he instead decided to help them develop their own styles. Unfortunately, Charlie did not make it. He had lost too much blood, and was stabbed straight through the heart. Vance cried for weeks after his death, though he couldn't understand why. He talked it through with Rory, and realized that he had fallen in love with Charlie. He swore then; if he ever saw his father again, he would kill him, in the same place where Charlie was stabbed

Current life

That all happened when Vance, Rory, and Charlie were only 10. They trained for the next 7 years and became very skilled and talented slayers, although never quite reaching hashira level. They both worked some of their problems out through fighting, like ivercoming their anger issues, but some were almost impossible to talk about and they kept to themselves.

The titles of each chapter represent either Jade or Yuu's thoughts and the progression of their relationship. If you listen to the songs and/or study the lyrics, you can see which title goes to who.

There is a sprinkling of the reasons why Yuu suddenly gave magic, as well as a consequence that they can't avoid besides the which is sprinkled in each chapter.

Everyone from the main cast is doting/attentive to Yuu for a very important reason :) you'll notice it in everyone's interactions with them. This is most notable in the overblotted students.

There is a reason that Jade's daydreams are so detailed and intricate, and it's not just because of Jade.

All the OCs introduced have lots of details to their names! They reference not only their twisted character, but their backstory/relationships to other characters. Aspen is especially full of references!

You can tell by the titles at which point Yuu will fall in love with Jade if you pay attention to the lyric/song name used.

Okay that's all until chapter 5 or else I'll have too many spoilers.

But since you chose any WIP, we are going back to our magical internet die to decide the fate of one WIP! And since we did this before already, we have our mark set to six, so we will be focusing on The Rapunzel Witch, for this ask! :D

AND HO BOI, DID THIS ASK FIT PERFECTLY.

One piece of lore that we might or might not be totally enchanted - pun intended XD - with is that of a yet to be seen tidbit of the Beloved Bartlebee! He is our favorite little Herbalist and loyal Knight, and one of the things that will be introduced is that he compares the Rapunzel Witch to the Moonflower. It is the flower that we want portrayed in the cover and it is a flower that we have already dabbled around with, in regard to Bartlebee and the Rapunzel Witch!

If you are noisy - same, us too, don't worry - you can look up some of the meanings and associations of Moonflower, but for Bartlebee, he likes to compare their duality with how the Rapunzel Witch holds their existence.

To some, the Moonflower [ and in relation, the Rapunzel Witch ] is something to be wary against, to hold up arms to defend and to wander away from, due to it's connection to the Nightshade Family. But Bartlebee only sees the good in the flower; it is one of his favorite flowers because they hold myths to heal the Blight against Witches and guide travelers through the darkness of the Forests.

We even wrote a little thing between them that has Moonflowers, and we adore it, and you can find it here! We need to revisit though and fix it up bc font and styles and Tumblr.

Since it's that time of year (pride moon <3 the second moon of greenleaf is my favorite for a reason...) my brother and I decided to make a bisexual colors flower chain... which reminded me, I've never officially come out, have I?

Well, there you have it. My brother (left) and I (right) found out we were bisexual at about the same time. I'm glad I live in a safe environment where I get to share that part of myself with all of my friends and my family.

Since posting this, I have recieved multiple asks stating that they would have known I was trans even if I didn't say because I don't pass very well/my face shape is too tom-like? I have also recieved several asks accusing me of faking being trans because I look too feminine and "calicos can't be amab" (I'm a chimera, fucking mouse-brains).

So yeah. Transphobes really will just say anything.

So, it's pride moon... and I'm unable to be out to almost anyone irl except my mentor. And. It sucks. I hate not being able to be loud and proud like I feel like I'm supposed to be... but I'm looking forward to a time when I'll be able to. Someday.

I kinda want to know what your character's favorite flowers are and why lol

Get ready for alot of reading✨️:

Magnifico's favourite flower is the daffodil, or otherwise also known as the narcissus.

(For all of those who know the greek myth of Narcissus, you can see why it fits to him lol.

For those wo do not know: Narcissus was a very vain man who fell in love with his own reflection and stared so long at it until he died. He also turned into a flower, the narcissus.)

Usually these flowers are known for being yellow or white and yellow, but they can also be purple. And the color purple is very relevant later on in Act 2 of the story lol.

Amaya's favourite plant is the Atropa bella-donna, or just Belladonna.

This berry may look and taste like any other berry (mild and sweet), but be warned. Eat too much and you will not survive because the Belladonna is poisonous.

(It's called "Deadly Nightshade" for a reason.)

Orion's favourite flower is the daisy.

You might think: "But why? It's a pretty average flower."

It's a simple reason which you might have figured out yourself.

He never saw them before and there simply are no flowers in space. He also appreciates the more simpler things on earth because he's bored of the grand and extravagant things from his royal up-bringing. Daisies are used in tea or in medicine, things that help make people feel better and cure them of any sickness, both of which Orion can do.

Now finally Asha's favourite flower: White roses.

No surprise since Rosas is also a little known for its roses.

Before the war, the roses were not just white but also red, orange and yellow. The flag of Rosas in the past also was red and orange and displayed roses. When the kingdom formed the alliance with Estrellania, stars were added onto those roses.

But ever since the war the flag is now blue and silver with white roses, reflecting the new rulers.

Roses are also a symbol of love, something that Asha wants from her parents.

Roses commonly have thorns which are there to protect themselfs from herbivores (animals that eat plants), but we remove them so that we don't get hurt. Asha is, in the beginning of the story, a rose without any thorns.

Her parents call her "Rosas' Rose", their "Rose without a thorn" (a refrence to the fifth wife of english King Henry VIII, Katherine Howard, who was given that nickname. If you learned it in history or from "SIX: The Musical", you know what happened to her.)
