Summon me to help you - Luktober Day 16
So I was looking for inspo for a Shugo Chara au and found @bklily Shugo Chara au and I couldn’t fit it into Adrien AUGust and I wanted to do something, so here we go, my attempt at a Shugo Chara thing in @lukacouffaineappreciation. Yeah, please enjoy. Summon
Luka strummed on his guitar, knowing the gentle tones was lulling his chara to sleep. When his phone buzzed next to him, he thought it was just Marinette, letting him know about a student council meeting the next day. He wasn’t expecting it to be from Adrien.
“Sass! Wake up!”
The scaled egg sitting on his amp shook as the chara let out a surprised yelp. The top half of the egg moved as his chara opened it, looking annoyed. “What is it?”
“Adrien texted me!”
“What? When? We have to go to him!”
Luka was already up, shoving his feet into his sneakers, barely waiting for the long haired chara to fly out from his egg and follow him. He tried to stay calm but he couldn’t. this wasn’t just some text from a friend. It was a summon from someone asking for help.
Adrien to most was Paris’ biggest teen model, a student at the same school Luka attended. But to Luka and the rest of the student council, Adrien was the holder of the Dumpty Key and their unwanted enemy. The school’s student council all had charas – living manifestations of a person’s would be self and dreams – and worked together to reverse X Eggs, corrupted chara eggs due to not believing in themselves or their dreams. Luka had only joined the group recently, after Sass had hatched and transformed with him and had only known Adrien from when they bumped into each other in the music room. He could always tell Adrien was stressed and hiding something whenever they talked and then he finally found out why.
Juleka’s own egg turned into an X Egg after a bad fight with their mother and he’d gone chasing after the egg. Adrien had suddenly appeared, looking like a cat, swiping the Egg from the air.
“Not the Embryo.”
“Adrien?” He asked, knowing he was confused.
The green eyes, so much more neon now, looked over at Sass. “So that’s why you joined the student council. I was hoping we could stay friends.”
Luka saw Adrien’s hand around the egg get tighter and he moved. He felt Sass activate his chara change and grabbed the lyre that appeared and strum it, letting the sound waves attack Adrien. His main focus was grabbing the Egg that slipped from his grasp, that he barely saw Adrien escaping.
Marinette explained it after she came and cleansed the Egg, leaving Juleka awake and moving again.
“I know it doesn’t look like it, but Adrien isn’t our enemy.”
“You’ll understand if I don’t totally believe that. He was about to destroy my sister’s Egg. Most kids don’t get a second chance.”
“Hear me out. Did you happen to notice a key on Adrien, maybe with the same design as this?” she asked, tugging and a Humpty Lock around her neck.
“Maybe? Why?”
“Adrien was the one who gave me the Lock in the first place. We were friends as kids. His mom would bring him to the bakery after shoots and with only Chloe as a friend, we became close. After he started coming to school with us, he seemed happier too. He gave me the Lock, saying that it and the Key meant that the wearers would always be close. Then, Adrien’s mom went missing and X Eggs started appearing more and more. Adrien told me his father was behind it.” He knew that Gabriel was behind the influx of Eggs they had to chase. He didn’t know Adrien knew that. “He asked me for help to get away from his dad, so he wouldn’t be forced to help, but something happened. I don’t have the full story, but Adrien went from a free roaming cat to a caged one. His dad is holding something over his head to keep him in line. He’s always asking for help to get away but we usually get there too late. His dad sinks his claws into him, tighter and tighter and soon, I think he’s gonna stop asking. His dad has sent others to try and take care of us, near killing us. If Adrien comes after us, he won’t go full force, allowing us to get away.”
It seemed like such a wild story, but thing was, he believed her. He’d heard the hurt and stress in Adrien’s heart, seen the way he looked at the student council, full of his friends and never approached them, how he kept to himself, like it was safer that way.
So he talked to Adrien. He wasn’t called to help most times with X Eggs, only if completely necessary, so he had a lot of time and he was stubborn, refusing to give in until Adrien talked to him. Eventually he broke down. Quite literally.
“I don’t want to do this.” He sobbed. “If it’s not the Embryo, I have to get rid of the Egg, but how can I do that knowing a person will have lost their chara forever? But if I don’t, he will and so much worse. I have to make the people who were my friends hate me and I can’t do anything about it!”
“Hey, listen to me, ok. When it gets too much, I want you to call me ok? Your dad knows Marinette has the Lock, so not her. Call me. I’m rarely in the fights, so he won’t ever suspect me. People deserve to have someone at their side. I’m a snake, just play your tune and I’ll be there.” He promised.
When he told Marinette, she looked happy, but also a bit jealous.
“I just wish I could be the one he went to, but he has someone and that’s all that matters. Who knows, maybe we can get him away after all.”
Adrien had disappeared from school a few days ago, with no word on what was going on. This was the first they’d heard from him. It was a short text, one word. Lyre. Luka’s weapon when fighting.
                                       ________________________
He went to the bridge where he had found Adrien holding his sister’s Egg. Curled up, in the middle of it and under what seemed like the only light, was Adrien. He was shivering, be it from the slightly cold weather or from silent tears, Luka didn’t know, but he walked quietly until he was in front of him.
“Adrien?”
“He tried….” tears, it was definitely tears. “He tried to inject X Egg energy into Plagg. He was going to hurt Plagg. Just for some stupid egg.”
Luka kneeled in front of Adrien, resting his hands on his knees, waiting for Adrien to lift his head up. “You summoned your snake. What do you want me to do?”
“Don’t make me go back, please don’t.” Adrien begged, Plagg’s egg held in his hands.
“I won’t. I promise. You’ll be safe, ok?” Adrien collapsed into his chest, sobbing and Luka held him tight, as if to protect him from the world.

Miraculous- The Other Side
Saw an AMV of Plagg and Adrien singing The Other Side from The Greatest Showman done by @levy120x. It was fantastic, and I felt inspired to do it for Longg and Kagami. I feel like it’s perfect for them when they first meet.
Longg: Right here, right now I put the offer out I don't want to chase you down I know you see it You run with me And I can set you free Out of the drudgery and walls you keep in So trade that typical for something magical And if it's crazy, live a little crazy You can play it sensible, a queen of conventional Or you can risk it all and see
Don't you wanna get away from the same old part you gotta play 'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride It'll take you to the other side 'Cause you can do like you do Or you can do like me Stay in the cage, or you'll finally take the key Oh, man! Suddenly you're free to fly It'll take you to the other side
Kagami: Okay, my friend, you want to cut me in Well I hate to tell you, but it just won't happen So thanks, but no I think I'm good to go 'Cause I quite enjoy the life you say I'm trapped in Now I admire you, and this whole thing you do It’s really something, really it's something But the life I live is swell, the Team’s already doing well I'll have to leave that up to you
Don't you know that I'm okay with this uptown part I get to play 'Cause I got what I need and I don't want to take the ride I don't need to see the other side So go and do like you do I'm good to do like me Ain't in a cage, so I don't need to take the key Oh, man! Can't you see I'm doing fine I don't need to see the other side
Longg: Now is this really how you like to spend your days? Loneliness and misery, and parties and plays
Kagami: If I were mixed up with you, I'd be the talk of the town (pokes Longg) Disgraced and disowned, another one of the clowns
Longg: But you would finally live a little, finally laugh a little Just let me give you the freedom to dream And it'll wake you up and cure your aching Take your walls and start 'em breaking Now that's a deal that seems worth taking But I guess I'll leave that up to you...... (Closes his eyes and holds his head high. Opens one eye and glances at Kagami. She moves her head slightly towards him. He smirks. He knows he’s got her. She puts on the Dragon Miraculous)
Kagami: .....Longg, flame on! (transformation sequence)
Longg: Don't you wanna get away to a whole new part you're gonna play (Kagami: Oh, I've gotta get away! It’s a whole new part I get to play!) 'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride To the other side
Longg: So if you do like I do
Kagami: So if you do like me
Both: Forget the cage, 'cause we know how to make the key Kagami: Oh, man! Suddenly we're free to fly (Longg: You’re free to fly)
Kagami: We're going to the other side So if you do like I do (Longg: To the other side) So if you do like me (Longg: We're going to the other side) 'Cause if we do we're going to the other side Both: We're going to the other side

Marichat May - Kitty Cats & Ballet Shoes
Day Eighteen: Balconies
[ A03 ]
He stared out across at her vacant balcony, everything had been where she had left it. The lights of the small four-story house had been turned off just a few minutes ago, Marinette wasn’t there. In her very sleepy state she had made him promise to make sure her parents were alright. He pulled his baton off his back and headed back to his own balcony and back to the injured Marinette.
The balcony that was attached to his apartment was much smaller than hers but it was large enough for him to land and take off from it. A few small plant pots decorated it, many of them were low maintenance but he was still extremely careful about accidentally killing one by knocking one over.
His steel-toed boots made very little noise when he landed, he glanced through the window to see Marinette had stirred from her sleep from the noise; the door was swiftly opened and he was soon by her side. She rubbed her tired eyes and said a few incoherent words before she returned to her unconscious state.
He sighed, both she and Mullo had been hurt extremely bad, the list of injuries Marinette had out weight his, he didn’t even remember her being thrown but she had been and he didn’t even try to save her from her fate. He felt horrible about it and really wanted to make it up to her.
He re-read the list Fu had given him and frowned at the strange names that sat on each line, he didn’t even know where to get most of the ingredients but he had to get them, the small batch that Fu had made for him wouldn’t last two days.
He quickly grabbed the jug and a cup and pour some of the healing liquid into it. Adrien placed the cup to her lips, she winced and tried to get away from the foul-smelling drink, he chuckled but persisted. He murmured a few words and she opened her mouth for the drink.
He didn’t exactly know how the drink worked but somehow it had healing powers, slow healing but it helped heal someone a lot faster than the body’s natural healing speed. Broken bones healed in a couple of days depending on how broken they were; he wished he had known about it a couple of months back when he had crashed into that brick wall but the past was the past.
She coughed and tried to expel the liquid that she had just drunk, a hand quickly stopped her attempt. She could hate him later for it but right now she needed to drink as much as she could of the drink. She didn’t say anything instead she fell back to a deep sleep while he returned back to the kitchen.
Pulling out a laptop he performed a quick google search to find all the stores that held the ingredients he needed only to his disappointment they were scattered all across Paris and would easily take him about a day to collect them all. He planned his route before looking back at the pillow and blanket he had left on the sofa the night before, he sauntered over to it and laid down, he rolled over several times before he decided he was comfortable enough to get some sleep.
He looked down at his list then up at the building, he had the right address but it certainly didn’t seem like it. He clutched his mask tightly in his pocket, he was unsure about venturing out into the world as himself, he was so used to his father’s control over him that he dared not go out into the world as himself in case as he was caught out of the cream coloured outer walls that formed his cage.
He slowly approached the weathered shop door, a spider was making a new home where a small piece of glass was missing. He pushed open the door and an old bell rang aloud to the empty shop. The old wooden floorboards creaked and groaned with the slightest amount of weight he applied to them. He winced and every creak, he was not used to someone being able to hear his every move but he persisted.
The old bookshelves that lined the walls were covered in jars full of dried plants, they were ground into powders or were left in their natural dried state; some were filled with liquids most of which he knew like orange juice or squeezed strawberries and some… Some had strange and unfamiliar names that he dared not ask about. If he had to describe the store it would be with one word: Voodoo. It radiated Voodoo with the strange jars and obscene decorations like the blond haired children’s doll sitting by one of the shelves or what looked like small mummified rodents sitting in wicker baskets dotted around the store. He descended deeper into the store, he kept his eye on the jars containing liquids for one that read Essence of The Jellyfish but he doubted that he would be able to find it on his own just by the number of jars there were.
“Can I help you?” A male voice, that Adrien recognised from somewhere, asked from behind him, a little concerned at Adrien’s presence in the shop.
He spun around to face the voice, how they managed to sneak up on him was surprising to him, he hadn’t had that happen to him in a very long time. He smiled at the olive-skinned guy, it wasn’t very hard to recognise him without the forest green mask and he was glad to see a pair of round set of glasses atop his nose.
“Yes, I’m actually looking for a lot of things,” he replied.
He handed the bartender his list and the guy raised his eyebrow at the incredibly long list.
“I’m guessing the ticks are what you already have?”
Adrien nodded and the guy signalled him to wait there as he headed behind a doorway covered in a beaded curtain to grab his items leaving Adrien to continue exploring the strange store.
“May I ask what you need the Essence of The Jellyfish for?” The guy asked popping his head through the beaded curtain.
   Adrien jumped, “I, uh…”
“Let me guess, you were given this list by some person and they didn’t tell you how dangerous some of this stuff is?”
He nodded, “Yeah… The juice from it tastes kinda horrible.”
“You’ve had this in a drink?”
“Yeah…” his voice trailed off, “I can’t explain why I need it just know that I’m not using it in an attempt to make myself immortal.”
The guy looked unsure but nodded, “Most of this stuff I have plenty of its just… the amount of Jelly Essence and Cheetah blood is… troubling.”
   “Oh…”
“I really have to know what it’s for because of all the horrible concoctions that can be made with that amount.”
   “Healing…” he almost whispered.
   “Sorry?”
“Healing, it makes a… a juice; It helps accelerate the body’s natural healing for a quicker recovery.”
“How…” the bartender shook his head, “I’ll get the stuff. You’ll be emptying out several of my stocks but I hope it helps whoever you’re healing.”
He smiled and the guy disappeared back behind the beaded curtains and quickly returned with several armfuls of vials and small jars. Adrien’s eyes widened at the sight and quickly moved to help him.
“Thank you,” the guy whispered and placed them all on the counter before heading out from behind the counter to roam the many shelves.
He pulled jar after jar off the old bookshelves and placed them on the counter beside all the others. He started handing some to Adrien as the amount started to grow.
“I… I didn’t think there would be this much,” he said as his arms started to grow weak from the number of jars he had in his arms.
“Yeah… All the jars and vials I pulled from the back were just the stuff we don’t allow people to buy in bulk, these are your more common ingredients,” he explained, “This should be the last one,” he said passing over a jar full of a green powder.
Adrien took it and placed it on the counter beside all the others.
“Why do I get the strange feeling that this is going to break my poor porcelain piggy bank?” he joked as they guy started to add up all the prices on the jar.
He laughed and continued to type numbers into the cash register, “Yeah… But don’t worry this is one of the smallest bulk orders I’ve had to ring up.”
   “That’s… kinda comforting.”
“My mother isn’t going to be happy though, it takes a while to collect most of this stuff.”
“What are you going to tell her?”
“Oh, the usual, one of our regulars came in,” he jested.
Adrien laughed slightly at his excuse.
   “Hey… I’m Nino.”
“Adrien,” he replied, there was no use hiding who he was, his father’s billboards had taken care of that.
   “Nice to meet you.”
‘Nino’ entered the last jar into the register and the final total was finally revealed to him.
“Please tell me you take card,” he said, already pulling out his credit card.
“You’re lucky, we just had it fixed.”
Nino passed over the payment terminal for Adrien to swipe his card and type in his pin. The machine accepted and a very long recept was printed out. He helped Nino pack all the jars into two large wicker basket to make it easier for him to carry out to his car.
“Here, I’ll help, it’s not every day we get a purchase this big, it’s the least I can do,” he offered and had already picked up the other wicker basket.
Adrien really wanted to object but he felt the weight of the one closest to him and quickly decided against it. He led Nino out of the front of the store and past a few cars, Plagg had the forethought and pressed the button on his car keys to open the boot for them.
“Thank you,” he said and Nino quickly waved and headed back to the tiny store.
Adrien made sure all the jars were secure before he drove away, a smile stayed on his face as he drove home.
She groaned when the familiar sight of the brown murky liquid, she really didn’t want to drink it again. It was his own batch and he had added some things extra to it to try and make it taste better although he didn’t know how better it would taste. She took it from him and reluctantly drank it.
“What did you put in it?” she said in disgust and quickly reaching for the bottle of water on the bedside table.
“I tried to make it taste better,” he explained, “sorry.”
“Just… Put less vanilla essence in it next time.”
He nodded and she continued to drink the rest of the brown concoction, she quickly gulped down several mouthfuls of water to try and wash out the taste before she attempted another mouth full of the drink until the cup was empty. He retrieved it from her and washed it out in the connecting bathroom, she was still desperately gulping down the water, he chuckled and headed back into the kitchen to retrieve the hot chocolate he had prepared beforehand for her. She greedily took it from him and the mug was quickly emptied and handed back to him.
   “You okay?” He questioned.
She nodded but continued to down the now almost emptied bottle. He retrieved the bottle from her and refilled it for her, she whispered a thank you and set it down on the bedside table. He helped tuck her in, he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before he exited the room and headed back to his pillow and blanket that still sat on his white sofa.
Adrien sat up with a start, he had the strong sense that something was wrong, he rushed towards his bedroom, he needed to see if Marinette was okay.
His eyes frantically searched the room, the white curtains that led out to the concrete balcony swayed gently in the early morning breeze, the sun had yet to rise but a few small rays of light streaked across the sky, that’s where he found her and he let out a small sigh in relief. He watched her carefully from the safety of the darkness. It had been the first time in a week that he had seen her out of bed, he didn’t want to disturb her as she gazed out from his balcony; her fingers twirled around the leaves of one of the many plants he had out there while her other hand played with the chain around her neck.
Although her clothes and hair were a mess in his eyes she looked… Beautiful. His heart slowly started to race at the realisation, he had no idea where the feelings of attraction had come from, he had always thought of her as a friend. He’d admit to himself that she was pretty but he… he… He sighed, he was making excuses… He, in some capacity, liked her more than a friend, she was brave even when she was scared, she never seemed to back down from a challenge, he found himself thinking about her more and more as of late and spending a moment apart from her felt like torture.
At first, he thought it was because he had made a new friend and he had just been excited but… seeing her with her dancing partner and then learning that she still loved her ex in some way had hurt him. He recalled his heart dropping at the sight of her dancing and when he had learned of Luka’s existence. It brought to his attention how little he knew about her life, his night of questions had cleared up a lot of things but there were still so many things he didn’t know about her, he didn’t fully know why she decided to help him steal the necklace and maybe she didn’t know either; he couldn’t deny that she had definitely intrigued him and he wanted to get to know her more than he already did.
He moved out of the shadows to stand beside her as they watched the morning sun rise, she glanced over at him but continued to watch the sun slowly peek its way over the horizon. His mind was full of questions and uncertainties; he knew he would most definitely not be able to keep his feeling a secret, that was of course if he had any… strong feelings towards her, for all he knew it was a small crush nothing more but he knew his history and a small crush quickly led into a full-blown crush. He was useless when it came to his own feelings that much was true, he knew that he would just have to wait and see if his feelings had changed towards her.

“Blanket Fort”
Blanket Fort
A post-reveal sleep over is exactly what the doctor calls for when Adrien’s day is a little rough.
Adrien had had rough days before. That much was true; especially considering the last year of his life alone and more issues in his life than he can count on his two hands. However, it didn’t mean he had to be used to it. He was only human, despite the superhero get-up, and as such, he needed a break every now and then.
And what better place to get it than at his girlfriend’s home?
His heart swelled at the thought. After a year of fighting Hawkmoth together, Chat Noir and Ladybug, with a lot of guiding encouragement from Master Fu, had decided to reveal their identities and much to their astonishment, it had been each other, Adrien Agreste and Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who greeted them from the other side of the masks. He hadn’t been able to contain his excitement. Mari had been hesitant. It stung at first when she asked for a few days to gather her thoughts but it was so worth it. She’d come to, first as Ladybug then Marinette, confessing her confusion and her worries about where they were heading but in the end, she decided that if she didn’t risk anything now, she would regret it for the rest of her life.
So, he made sure she didn’t regret anything. Adrien tried his best to be the best boyfriend ever but he was so new to this world. His only real role model was an anime character who never actually was seen dating. Marinette was patient and kind about it; she too was a little new to the world of being a girlfriend but she made sure that they were always talking. Communication, she’d learned, was the key.
Shortly after they started dating, Adrien had come to school distressed. His father had said something about dating a girl that was below his status and he was upset at the idea that anyone couldn’t like Marinette. They’d argued. Especially because his father had even acknowledged her talent during the derby competition. He didn’t want to tell her at first. But she quickly forced it out of him anyway, resulting in a soft library crying session and a very stern lecture towards his father that afternoon.
Needless to say, Mr. Agreste had been very impressed. He now approved of their relationship.
Chat landed on the balcony, tucking his stuff on his back and dropping his bag before ordering, “Claws in.” Plagg spiraled out of his ring.
“Hmph, you’re lucky Tikki’s here,” he chided, “Or I never would’ve agreed to this.” He smiled.
“I just would’ve come without you. I can sneak out of the house on my own.” He rolled his eyes.
“Whatever pleases you kid.” They were interrupted by the sound of an opening door. Marinette poked her head out from her room, smiling up at him with a cheeky grin.
“Why what a surprise! I didn’t expect to find a model on my balcony.” He blushed, waving a hand.
“Hi princess.” She raised an eyebrow. Without saying a word, she climbed out, walking over to him. Adrien held his breath. Marinette for years had apparently been a shy girl thanks to constant bullying from Chloe and Sabrina but having received the Ladybug earrings changed her; she used that change now to her advantage, walking up to her boyfriend and staring him straight in the eyes. There was a fire there.
“What’s wrong?”
“I can’t come visit my girlfriend from time to time?” He kissed her forehead. She crossed her arms.
“Adrien Agreste, I know you too well to know that this is a casual visit. You can’t lie to me. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing Mari,” he lied again, “I promise. I’m just here to visit.” Her glare didn’t fade for a few seconds but he held his breath, waiting. Eventually, she sighed. Taking his hand, she led him inside, and only released him when he was securely in the room and sitting on her lounge. Tikki flew out of hiding, colliding in mid-air with Plagg. They tumbled for a bit before coming to a stop. She nuzzled his cheek and he grumbled about being happy to see her again. Mari chuckled. Leaning down, she poked Adrien’s nose with a smile.
“Wait here. I’ll go get some drinks and cookies.” He paled.
“What about your parents?”
“Conveniently out of town,” she smirked, heading towards her door, “so you can spend the whole night if you’d like.” He relaxed , his shoulders slumping forward just a bit. Tikki and Plagg floated around the room for a bit, playing a game of tag, until Marinette came back with a tray loaded with cookies, cheese, and croissants for all of them. The kwamis politely took one of their favorites and flew over to the desk. Adrien took a croissant, kissing her cheek. She handed him the tray. “Wait here.” He took it and watched her as she climbed back up to her bed. Pillows started to rain from above. Adrien cried out, placing the tray on the lounge behind him before it was accidently knocked down.
“Marinette,” he gasped. “What in the world are you doing?”
Her head appeared over the railing, “I’m gathering pillows and blankets.” The long cat pillow flew next. Adrien caught it. She came down after it. Without stopping, she started moving her lounge and desk chair so that she could take the blanket and drape it over the two of them, effectively making the spot look like a little tent.
“That still doesn’t tell me what’s going on.”
She smiled, grabbing some of the fallen pillows and tossing them inside. When that was done, she walked up to him, a sultry smile on her face that made him blush. She reached up, taking the cat pillow from him, making sure to brush her hands on his. He swallowed hard. “Isn’t it obvious Mr. Agreste? I’m making a blanket fort.” She turned before he could say anything. Climbing back in, she placed the cat pillow in such a way that they had a place to lay their heads, and she poked her head back out, asking, “Are you coming?”
Adrien dropped to all fours and climbed in. Inside was dark but cozy; Mari moved out of the way a bit so he could have the most room, leaning back on the cat pillow. She curled up next to him. Her head rested neatly on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her.
They stayed silent for a little bit, just enjoying the feeling of being near each other.
She broke the silence first, “When I was a kid, I tried to keep my worries to myself. I didn’t want to bother my parents; after all, they were busy building a life with the bakery. They didn’t need the worries of a child on top of that.” Her hand traced lazy circles on his chest, causing his breathing to hitch. “But my mom was having none of that. She’d always make me a blanket fort and we’d climb inside and I was allowed to cry and scream and get rid of all my worries that way.” She sat up, leaning over him. Adrien didn’t realize he had tears in his eyes until she moved, causing him to blink. He sniffed. “And I want that to be the same for you.”  He took a shaky breath before hugging her close. Mari buried her face in his chest. It took a minute but eventually, he confessed to everything. His father, his mother, feeling like he’s always in a cage, balancing work and hobbies and school and being a superhero, how much he just wishes for once he could be treated like a human and not a pawn or some award or trophy and allowed to live as freely as everyone else.
Minutes passed in this fashion. Mari didn’t interrupt. She merely rubbed her hand soothingly on his chest and shoulders, listening. When he finished, they fell into silence. There was nothing left to say. The stress of it all, finally released, left him exhausted. He kissed the top of her head, hugging her close as he slowly drifted off to sleep.
It didn’t take her long to follow suit. The next morning, they woke, tangled around each other, a smile plastered on their faces as they moved for a good morning kiss (much to the chagrin of Plagg who gagged in the background while Tikki giggled and elbowed him in the side).

Here’s my work for Day 6 of @miraculousfluffmonth! Apparently I have a thing for post reveal blanket fort fluff.

Plagg in Claw Noir's universe kind of hates existence and would cataclysm the Supreme himself if he had the ability. But obviously, he doesn't, with how locked down his powers and miraculous is. Plagg doesn't have the power to change his situation, he doesn't even have his voice, permanently muzzled and unable to speak or even eat, and he doesn't need to. But it's the primary reason that Claw Noir was dying because Plagg's power was directly pulled from Adrien's life force instead of being augmented with sustenance. But the thing that really upsets him, because Plagg's apathy towards people is a direct result of his being omnipresent in every reality, is that he can't help Adrien. He can't speak to him, or communicate in a way with the quiet boy that matters. He wants desperately to help guide Adrien out of the grief he's feeling and to open up to a world that needs heroes like he could be-- and because Plagg is aware of other realities, he knows Adrien could be one of those heroes. Now that Claw Noir and Shadybug are partnered with Hesperia, Plagg is hoping that he can get at the very least un-muzzled. He can't help anyone, much less Adrien, in his current state. But Plagg is a very compassionate person under his apathy. If the only life he could protect was Adrien's, he would do it without hesitation. Even in a world where he's a villain, I don't believe Adrien has treated Plagg poorly, and Plagg would want to repay that.
