Oh God. This was not the ideal situation. Effie was used to moving between hostels as she traveled from country to country but somehow being home always caused more problems. Maybe because she never had to worry about a key. But tonight she did...more so, she had to worry that it was behind the locked door of her apartment. Along with everything else. There was no time like the present to get to know her neighbor, right? Stepping in front of their door, she knocked her knuckles against the wood and waited. “Hello? Anyone home? Approaching the stranger, he couldn't help but offer a smirk as their eyes met. "I must say, I'm a tad disappointed you haven't swung by my stand," he remarked, his tone laced with humor. annie edison ⚜️ unaware noblewoman/aristocrat, medical apprentice; addiction mention tw. she is the daughter of a vassal that went against her parents wishes to study medicine. similar to her actual background minus the pill addiction part. aristocrat / noblewoman because it's close enough to her princess fantasy w/o actually making her a princess. || random tidbit: when she is referred to as 'my lady' / 'm'lady' a not so clear face will pop into her mind. she doesn't know who it is, but she's trying to find them (context)

anya jenkins ⚜️ aware "sorceress"; anya is getting a memory upgrade right before this event, so she now remembers up to the end of hell's bells & has fully regained her demon powers; she is also aware of the changes but since this medieval time period is close to when she was her original human identity 'aud', she finds it very familiar. she does miss the conveniences of the modern world, though... like the luxury of lightweight paper money vs coins. she is passing off her demon powers as that of a sorceress that grants wishes.

chloe decker ⚜️ unaware lieutenant; she is suspicious of the place, but can't pinpoint what exactly has her feeling something is off. but she can't shake the feeling. in this world, she still works in law enforcement of sorts, not much 'investigating' here... but that's reserved for delving more into her suspicions. for her, hoping at some point she'll become aware so that could be played with/plotted out.

So, she'd found herself drawn to Uppercut Club, the boxing classes opening up a new choice for her whenever she had to let off some steam. He saw..something or ‘someone’ go into this old abandoned police station. Hmmm maybe it would have been a better if the two had just gone through the public streets after their movie date instead of just ‘taking a shortcut’ as Yusuke puts it.
