"I really don't get it. You know I see the two of you together and it makes no sense. Why go for him when I'm right here." As far as Noah was concerned, there was only one Choi brother worth anyone's attention and it was him, not his brother. So how had he ended up with Maeve? It made no sense.

Noah didn't have any proof that she wasn't outside of the vibe he got from her and that was more than enough for him to make outlandish claims. That, and his unshakeable belief that he was better than his brother in every possible way. "An orgasm for one," which in his mind was the greatest selling point, "but actual fun? Doesn't that sound like something you'd actually want?"

maeve  can't  help  but  roll  her  eyes,  though  there's  a  playful  smile  on  her  lips.  even  with  his  brother's  promise  ring  on  her  finger,  she's  eager  to  flirt.  his  brother  is  dull,  committed...  maeve  wants  freedom  and  vibrancy  and  spontaenity.  she's  always  loved  to play  with  fire.  femme  gives  him  the  once  over,  letting  her  head  tilt  to  the  side.  "why  doesn't  it  make  sense?"  a  brow  quirks,  the  hint  of  mischief  in  her  eyes.  she  knows  entertaining  this  conversation  is  a  bad  idea,  but  she  reaches  for  her  wine  glass  and  takes  a  sip  to  drown  the  thought.  "and...  what  can  you  offer  me  that  your  brother  doesn't,  hm?  besides,  apparently...  you  have  no  guilty  conscience."
