"It's for English too, so it's taking forever ..."

[ Sumire turns her attention back to her book, brows knitted. It doesn't help that her phone is so broken that even the time doesn't show up properly sometimes! Who knows how long she's been sitting here. ]

[ Seeing the flash of Akira-senpai's bright smile, and then immediately their cute attempts to suppress it, cause Sumire's heart to pang in a peculiar way, but whatever feeling that is, she shakes it off. Again, thank god Leblanc isn't busy tonight — so she can share a quiet cup of coffee with her friend. ]

[ She blows on the coffee a little, out of nervous habit than anything: "Ah! It was good — nothing too out of the ordinary. I was, um, daydreaming more than anything, I think." Ever honest, as she is. Pauses: "W-well, I was still focusing, of course!! I was just on autopilot!" Because of course, she doesn't want to admit to her senpai that she wasn't doing her 100%! ]

[ Or that ... what she was daydreaming about was coming back to Leblanc, for a moment with Akira, just like this. Yeah, she'd never tell them that! ]

[ Slightly flustered, Sumire takes a little sip of her coffee, cupping it in her hands to absorb its warmth. ]

( It’s hard to hide the smile that splits across his face at Sumire’s proposal— the indirect acceptance to stay with them. )

( He chuckles, stirring back into action. ) “Consider it a treat for both of us! Besides— it’s kinda my job.” ( They glance back to her midway through grabbing cups for the both of them, his expression softening. )

“Yeah. Of course. Lemme just finish—“ ( He rushes to make his coffee, but takes more time preparing Sumire’s. He carefully slides her cup over to her, before glancing around Leblanc. It was getting late— they were sure nobody else would come in. He’d be fine. They’d both be fine. )

( He promptly untied his apron, taking a seat next to Sumire, resting their chin in their hands. ) “hey, I never got the chance to ask! How was practice?”

Hello there. I’m Kotori Akiyama, the leader and composer of SUMIRE! Our group was originally created on the online platform called Nightcord, but now it’s become an up-in-coming Idol group..! We really hope you’ll support us in our endeavors.

I should probably introduce myself in this post, so here:

I’m a 3rd year at Yoshioka Middle School. I’ve heard some of my classmates might sign up for this platform soon, so you might see them around.

I like learning Idol choreographies, composing music, hairstyling (I was the one who did Chika’s braids!), fashion, and my moms.

Speaking of my moms.. I really want to make them proud, and spread hope to others just like one of them used to do..

"Ehehe. Okay!" That sounds fun — and, of course, more excuses to go visit Futaba-senpai and Leblanc are more than welcome. King Frost will probably enjoy it, anyways, with all the customers and other Phantom Thieves about. They could revere him like the royalty he is! Imagining herself carrying King Frost to gymnastics practice, then on the subway to Yongen-Jaya afterwards to drop him off with Futaba makes her smile.

"If you're sure!" she says with wide eyes. "Hmmm. Maybe I can clear out some space on my shelves so he can have a full one to himself ..." she muses as they walk up to Cafe Leblanc, Sumire opening the door for Futaba.

Futaba sighs. "We said we'd have shared custody. It wouldn't be fair for you to be separated from him since you spent all your money trying to free him. Bring him whenever you come to Leblanc, and I'll give him back the next time you come!"

This isn't a ploy for Sumire to hang out with her more often. Not at all. It's a rare person that Futaba can really relax around. Even though Sumire doesn't have a lot of interests in common with her, she's willing to listen to Futaba dump about the most recent expansion to Final Fantasy XIV Online, or the latest episode of Featherman. Likewise, she loves hearing about Sumire's gymnastics, even if it makes her a little jealous that she's not as fit as her friend. Overall, it's nice to have a friend who doesn't feel primarily like Akira's friend first.

It's only a short ride on the subway to the Yongen-Jaya stop, so they arrive at their destination quickly. She places King Frost in Sumire's arms. "You can have him first. It's only fair since you discovered him." She smiles.

"It looks quite comfortable," Sumire agrees, fiddling with her hands in front of her.

Although she had managed her nerves quite well earlier, suddenly she feels awkward in front of Ren, not quite sure where to look or how to act — Swallowing her anxiety, she quickly jokes, "Is it an upgrade from Leblanc, do you think?"

[ Sumire claps her hands together upon looking at the photo. "They're adorable!! Thanks for covering for me, Yusuke-senpai." Mental note to get Yusuke-senpai's contact. Er, well, a new phone first, probably ... or the contact would be useless. ]

[ While Yusuke frames the scenery, she looks around herself: the bright blue sky, wisps of white clouds, and the bubbling over the river makes for a truly idyllic scene. Yusuke's comment, though, almost makes her jump. "Y-you think so?" she asks, blinking owlishly. ]

[ So Sumire could have this sort of impact on a master artist such as Yusuke Kitagawa, to re-invent this lovely riverside scene ... Mildly embarrassed, she plays with a lock of her hair. "That'd be great, Yusuke-senpai. I'd much look forward to more adventures like this." she says warmly.]

⌞ Startled is an understatement. Yusuke watches wide-eyed as Sumire awws at the ducks. What an adorable scene. He looks around them, taking in a bit of the view before striding towards Sumire. He chuckles to himself, then pulls out his phone and takes a photo. The quality isn't.. the best.. but a photo was taken. ⌝

“There.” ⌞ He shows the screen to Sumire. ⌝ “They are quite cute, I can understand your excitement. I shall send the photo to you after our drawing session is over. If your phone allows me, that is. I would have preferred to paint the scene in front of me, but I simply cannot count on the ducks to stay in one place. That's not what we came all this way for anyways.” ⌞ Yusuke shakes his head. ⌝

��� He puts his phone away and turns back to the scenery in front of him. He uses his hands to frame the area. He's like that for a bit before he seems satisfied. ⌝

“This place is very beautiful, Yoshizawa-san. You indeed have an eye for aesthetics. Though, I do believe I've sketched out something in this area before. Yet thanks to your presence, it feels completely different. As if the eyes I originally laid on it have been replaced. Perhaps we could make a habit out of these adventures.”

Sumire Violet is a Fallen Angel living in an old Church. She had injured her right Wing and is now paralyzed. She lives together with a group of homeless runaways which take care of her.

She has long mimosa colored hair and pastel yellow droopy eyes. Her Skin is rose pale and seems to be faintly glowing. Sumire always seems to be emitting a soft light aswell. She is quite skinny duo to the lack of food. Her hair is usually rather messy and reaches the floor, forming pools of hair when she sits on the ground, bed or any other big surface and dragging after her when she moves. She wears a pastel pink hoodie slightly hanging off her shoulders, a white pleaded skirt with flower pattern, white platform boots decorated with pearls and white fur leg Warmers. Her wings fall losely down her sides, the right one wrapped in bloody bandages and with less feathers than the other.

yoshizawa-san is kind, too kind, for her own good. i could step on her shoe and she'd be the one apologizing. i wouldn't do that to my underclassman, of course. she is talented in her own ways, and i admire her determination, admittedly. however, she holds herself to such a high standard. although it can be a great motivator, i can tell she is hard on herself since she is an open book in a way. it is frustrating to remind her she's doing well, since she says, “thank you,” but never looks as if she took it all in. seeing someone so kind doubt themself is frustrating. i wish yoshizawa-san knew how extremely skillful she is in gymnastics and how i do enjoy watching her performances with the others. she works very hard and i do admire it. and i do hope yoshizawa-san is doing well these days since maruki. and i do hope she considers referring to me as goro instead of “akechi-senpai” this or “crow-senpai” that. not that i'm in distaste to it, it just feels a bit odd to hear someone (who fought alongside me to destroy a false reality) refer to me in a formal manner. that's just me, unfortunately. maybe it's a terrible habit.

"G — Crow-senpai!" Sumire chokes out as she falls to the side, shoulder hitting the ground first, sliding into a roll as she scrambles up to her feet in time to see Goro getting hit by the Shadow.

Oh, god. She's doing it again.

No, I can't just go. is what she wants to say. I'll stay here and fight with you. is what she wants to do. There's no way I can run forever and let people get hurt because of me. Right?

Sumire thinks all of this, and runs anyway.

She turns tail and dashes off down a side corridor, the Shadow sufficiently distracted by Goro-senpai, her heart thundering in her chest, angry tears pricking her eyes. Stupid, stupid, stupid — but she can still find a way to remedy her stupid mistake.

Goro-senpai has also had his fair share of fighting alone, after all.

He doesn't have to do that anymore. I'll prove it to him.

She looks around. There: a solid vantage point, if she rappels up the wall. Doing so, she crouches at an area above the Shadow and Goro-senpai's heated battle. "Cendrillon," she growls under her breath, summoning her Persona.

"Crow-senpai! Dodge left!" she calls out before commanding, "Kougaon!"

The blinding white light blitzes through the stale Mementos air, colliding with the back of the Shadow and piercing it right through, drawing a massive cloud of dust and dirt into the air.

goro quietly watches sumire strike on the shadow – even after it's weakened, she's still stabbing it relentlessly. he can feel where the anger is coming from, the anger of being someone's shadow. the anger that the things you thought were your own were never yours to begin with, such as dreams.

when goro saw the flashback play in dr. maruki's palace, he was stunned. he knew about survivor's guilt. he knew all about that and he—

the ex-detective's head shoots up when he hears sumire's hoarse cry. sumire was going against a shadow that was much larger than herself – and if anyone thought he was going to stand there instead of letting sumire foolishly die, they've got a few screws loose.

god damn it, i might've given sumire too much bitterness to let out.

goro darts toward sumire's way – he shoves her out of the way before the shadow could strike the underclassman. goro does take a hit, letting out a strangled yell and holding his abdomen, “oh, you little SHIT—”

he takes his blade and strikes the shadow – goro then glances back at sumire's way with his eyes, “violet, find an escape route! just get away from this thing—” he yells, striking the shadow relentlessly, but not carelessly … somewhat. there were some careless hits, but he mainly prioritized sumire's safety – it didn't matter if he was hurt, he supposed.
