The member of the Agency who's gonna get transferred to the PM will probably be Tanizaki, or Yosano. I know there was that whole deal Mori and Fukuzawa made but there's no reason for Mori to keep it, and Yosano being forced to work with the man who caused her trauma would be a very interesting arc. That said it's also been noted multiple times Tanizaki would make a good assassin and Asagiri flat out said he's the member of the ADA closest to evil, sooo-

Gin Akutagawa is going to get Rashoumon if Akutagawa is actually dead. I don't know if he is even after the vampirism but I think he should be, because it would finally give some stakes to this series bc no one has died before and it would make Fyodor as a threat matter. Anyway I think it would make sense if Gin were to get it, especially considering with Tachihara's current unknown state that's another reason to get her more involved with the plot.

Fyodor's not actually dead. There's no way he's been built up over the past 2/3 arcs to die like THAT.

Aya has an ability. What it is, I'm not sure, I know her irl author's most famous work is Nagareru, which I have not read, so maybe something to do with that?

Also, Higuchi is going to become important soon. Asagiri has confirmed she has an ability - I'm betting we're going to find out what it is soon. Especially if Akutagawa is actually dead, which again I think he is because otherwise all the buildup was wasted, I think she's gonna get an arc of her own soon.

Dazai is going to be forced to develop and it won't be pretty. I've seen notes that he's kinda regressing back into his 'Demon Prodigy mindset' from the healthier one he developed with the ADA in the earlier arcs, before Mori released Q, in order to protect himself and the ADA from threats like Fyodor - so he's been more willing to sacrifice people or colder with his plans. In order to get out of that spiral something is going to need to snap him out of it.

Oh speaking of that - Dazai is either the son or grandson of the Old Boss of the Port Mafia from before Mori took over. Explains why he was implied to have known the old boss, and why his ability is basically an anti-ability, if he was constantly around someone so unstable and had to protect himself.

The Order of the Clocktower are going to become new antagonists with Agatha Christie also playing a role. We already know she exists in the BSD verse and the potential for a character based on her as a villain is insane. I'm also thinking she could potentially be the actual 5th member of the Decay of Angels, considering Sigma has existed for all of 3 years and spent a lot of that time actively being human trafficked, yet the organization was clearly prominent for years before that.

Bungo Stray Dogs x Assassination Classroom prompts

Like usual Imma just throw the idea here and run

• Yokohama’s Port Mafia decides to have a try at Koro’s assassination. Fifteen ys old executive Dazai Osamu is sent to enroll at Kunugigaoka’s class 3-E.

• he spends his first week pretty quietly, collecting intel on the target from his classmates, after confirming first thing that Koro-sensei’s condition wasn’t a Special Ability he could cancel.

• Devise backup plan: assesses that if the deadline comes too close, he just need to: have Chuya transfer in => do handshake greeting with Koro => immobilize him with gravity power => checkmate

• decide to hold on killing Koro to keep watching the ‘Assassination Classroom’ project, both out of personal curiosity and with scouting ulterior motive.

• At the end of the first week, he executes a flashy super smart assassination plan—which turn out a failure, but a close one—and he reveals his identity as a mafioso, setting his persona for the rest of the year.

• he makes it clear of everyone that he’s a trained professional in the criminal industry, with fluent handling of gun and knife, hand-to-hand combat, but also generously demonstrating his cheating hand talents (coin, cards, pickpocket…).

• have knowing discussions in pretend-complicity with Irina, which disturb everyone around. (TO MAKE IT CLEAR, Dazai isn’t a specialized assassin, and not pretending to be one: he’s being a mafiosa, aka a versatile member of organized crime.) So talk with Irina a bit about seduction (tho Dazai is more versed in sweet talking/scamming than in physical whoring), about infiltration, tricks and lies.

• he enjoys messing with Karasuma, governmental agent, with the fact that he’s a part of the criminal world as there’s nothing the PE teacher can do about it, first because of Koro and second because of Koro: the threat of Koro forcing the government to use whatever has a chance to kill him, including criminals, and because Koro sensei protect his students regardless of their past and motives.

• Dazai also makes something churn inside Koro with his teasing, highlighting that he is part of the same fucked up world as the teachers that the students don’t know. The Reaper used to be considered an alien among humans, but Dazai is the same—no, he’s the real deal.

• with the students: despite his mafioso persona putting him a step above and aside from all of them, he doesn’t enter the class rivalry for best assassin: he makes clear that yes, he knows how to fight, but no, he has no intention to become pro assassin level — his position is not in the front of the assassination attempts, he’s more in amused support and advices if requested. He be Dazai and whine and sleep to skip training. He’s respected, at the same time intimately terrifying and absolutely charming. He be playing the oddball to get their guard down: he’s not here to compete, he need good relationships for future scouting after all!

• Studying is easy (of course), but such a botheeeeer

• in front of the boys trying to include him in some salacious voyeur plan, Dazai would dramatically gasp and gawk that he’s a gentleman seeking a lady and wouldn’t have any part in this kind of behavior; however his cold eyes fail to hide for half a second his inhuman disgust at the hormonal teen pulsions.

• in the save or kill brawl, he stays neutral. Anyway he has every single intent to finish the job himself if the class fail, regardless of what they decide or of the threat Koro poses to the Earth or not: to him it’s a matter of money and Boss’ orders.

Extra Facts: 

Moved from Kyoto to Yokohama with his family at the age of 9.

After getting into a pretty nasty argument with his father, Haru decided to move into the guest room of his sister’s 2 bedroom apartment.

On the subject of his sister: Haru does not know that Kaede works as an assassin in the Port Mafia. While he does suspect something is off about his older sister, he does not know what it exactly is.

Is currently in university on a athletic scholarship to study sports medicine

While Haru isn’t the best at fighting like his sister is, he does have better social skills than her, usually being described as social butterfly to most people. His kind and friendly demeanor can get almost anyone to open up to him with ease.

Haru can cook and is pretty decent at it. In fact, he does some of the cooking during the weekends when he doesn’t have classes. He can get pretty distracted at times, resulting in him accidentally burning the food.

Random BSD!Mikaela Head Canons

Beast Verse: 

Mikaela is appointed as Gin’s body guard and can most often be found trailing behind the secretary as if he were her own shadow, even while at the mafia headquarters 

The few times Mikalea cannot be found within Gin’s presence is when she happens to be with Dazai, or on the few occasions he is asked to join the Black Lizard for missions ( though those instances are few and far between because Gin’s protection is of the utmost importance. ) 

Despite his position as Gin’s bodyguard, Mikaela has not had many chances to meet and talk to Dazai and despite this, the young bodyguard is perfectly okay with that. He’s heard enough stories about the mafia leader and is okay with not being overly scrutinized. 

Canon Verse: 

Mikalea works directly with the Black Lizard and is usually directly under Gin, or Hirotsu when appointed a mission. 

He specializes as an assassin, his ability giving him advantages that others’ do not have, despite the fact that he walks a very fine line of being in control once it is activated. 

Basic Info For Both Verses: 

Mikaela’s ability is “ Salem’s Lot. “ 

His ability has completely changed his make up and makes him less human and closer to what some would call a vampire. 

Though the ability itself is not always active, Mikaela always has a craving for blood and is faster and stronger than regular non ability users and even some ability users. 

To know whether or not his ability is becoming “ active “ all you have to do is look at his eyes, if crimson begins to bleed into them, or if they fully change in color, then his ability has completely taken over. 

He is capable of hiding his presence, his craving for blood grows stronger and he becomes even faster and stronger than he initially is. His ability allows him to be perfect for covert operations and assassinations. 

While his ability is activated, Mikaela’s can heal at inhuman rates and can even reconnect his limbs, should he lose them, but he still feels every bit of pain from a wound inflicted upon him. As OP as it sounds, he is still very much capable of dying and most of his abilities depend upon the amount of blood ingested. 

He cannot turn anyone else into a vampire and even if he could, he would refuse to do so. 

ADDED FACTS ( edit ) : 

Mikaela was found at a orphanage, nothing known other than that he was found bloodied and on the side of a road and he was in fact a mix, half Russian, half Japanese.  

Mikaela was abused by his parents frequently and eventually thrown from their moving car when they were tired of him and when his ability manifested due to the constant abuse as a means of defense.

He only knew Russian at first and as he got older, he got better and better at Japanese. After he was taken in due to his ability by the Mafia, eventually he studied up on Russian so he wouldn’t forget what he considers is his mother tongue.

 Due to his ability, he was involved in an accident at the orphanage that had to be covered up. He still has nightmares about it.

Though imagine a Dazai and Nagito are twins estranged at birth but in BSD verse—

1. Okay, the parents died in the plane crash remains but here Nagito also lost sight of his twin and felt even worse about his luck

2. On the other side, Dazai gets lost right after the plane crash and gets picked up by the Mafia Boss and groomed to be his heir.

3. Now Nagito believes he somehow failed Dazai and his parents due to his Luck while Dazai believes that it just reinforces his "Anything I ever want is lost at the moment I get it" schtick

4. Nagito's another case of good luck (after a really horrid case of bad luck) gives him information that Dazai *might* still be alive. This takes place sometime right after Mori assassinates the PM boss.

5. He manages to track him down in the Port Mafia after Chuuya has entered (the second Arahabaki incident at Suribachi drew his attention)

NEW BSD VERSES

1)  Scarlet’s current BSD verse will now be a more neutral route.  I do not see her joining the ADA without being brought there, as she is very hesitant when it comes to working with anyone who works in the criminal justice system.  So this verse she still believes in her curse, and is mostly keeping to herself.  Very similar to her main verse, but simply set in the BSD universe.  I MAY add an agency verse down the line, so I am keeping that possibility open for now, but it is unlikely. 2) Scarlet now has a Port Mafia verse. In this verse, she joined the mafia not too long after graduating from high school, nearly one year after Tristan’s death, at the age of 18.  She did so due to her worsening chronic conditions, having heard of Mori through the grapevine and his reputation as an underground doctor.  Thus joining to have an easier access to medical assistance as well as to quell her bloodlust.  So where the anime/manga is in the present, she has been in the mafia for about 2 years.  She specializes in assassinations, interrogations, and torture methods.  After a year in the mafia, she used her resources to seek vengeance against her father, during which she discovered her curse was a farce.  Despite this, she stayed within the organization. Her attire when working is different than what she wears in her day to day life detailed in her about page, as she does wish to keep work as separate as possible.  I will be making a post soon detailing her work outfit.

for hire assassin.

sees non ability users as second class, and blames them for the death of her parents.

grew up orphaned in the slums, her only companion was her partner rakan. it’s preset for him to be her lover, but i am more than fine to wave this for ships that take place in this verse. they are still incredibly close, however, and she will always consider him to be her other half. the way she’s written makes it incredibly hard to remove him. 

her ability, when activiated, allows her control over any knife based object ( usually daggers ) that she’s marked with her own blood. whether it be done previously or fresh. her aim is always accurate, she’s able to recall them, and is able to curve or send them wherever she desires them to land.(akin to diego from umbrella academy, but more precision and control, for those of you unaware of her abilities in league of le.gends) when her knifes are thrown, whether it be one or many, a purple haze follows behind them. 

xayah isn’t a fan of the armed detective agency or the mafia, but is more willing to help out the mafia as they pay better.

The women in her family are chosen to be vessels of a goddess, the goddess transferred every generation or two when the chosen vessel turns 16. After the ceremony is complete, Neff’s family gets massacred trying to protect her from a group that infiltrated the US Special Division for Unusual Powers (I have a headcanon every country has a SDUP, though the main base of operations remains in Japan). She gets kidnapped and taken to Japan, but with her new powers manages to escape and ends up in the hands of the Port Mafia, taken in to be trained as an undercover agent specializing in recon and assassination.

After that the branch is either she stays or leaves and joins the ADA.

Note: Neff is not an ability user, mor a demigod. She can be compared to Lovecraft in which she has an “ability” but not really. Her "ability" is just using the powers of the goddess she's merged with. It’s like a mixture between Louisa and Oda's, allowing her to predict the future in multiple outcomes. However this is only possible when she dreams, and the further into the future she looks the harder a toll it is on her body. This way even though it can’t really be stopped by No Longer Human it has QUITE a few weaknesses to balance it out. ]]

MORE THOUGHTS ON VASH’S BSD VERSE:

Relationships between characters mostly remain the same, though I do want to share a few things that change across verses.

⇁ Vash’s brother, Knives, is the leader of an elite group of assassin's that border’s the Yokohama Mafia’s level of power. Upon following Vash to Japan, a power struggle ensues, with fighting over territory, connection, and the fear of the public being major changes.    ↪ The Gung-Ho-Guns work underneath Knives still as his pawns. All are ability users, although Zazie the Beast is similar to Lovecraft in the fact that he is not human, and therefore, Dazai’s ability would not work on him. ⇁ Wolfwood still attempted to kill Knives’ and ultimately failed, ending up working for him with his goal being to protect Vash and lead him into meeting Knives. While NOT an ability user, Wolfwood was still inhumanly experimented on by the Eye of Michael, a seemingly religious group funded by the government. There are connections between this American group, and the Japanese government that caused the merging of Chuuya and Arahabaki.  ⇁ Meryl and Milly do NOT start off working for an insurance agency; instead, the two start off as reporters, attempting to break the truth on various destroyed cities across the nation, all of which have two things in common: the cities are completely destroyed to the point of being uninhabitable, but despite such mass destruction, there are NO causalities. There search leads them to Vash, ultimately entwining their fates together. ⇁ As mentioned before, Rem adopts both Vash and Knives and attempts to raise the twins herself. She is a scientist working on government-funded research into ability users, with the goal being to potential replicate and reproduce various abilities for military operations. Tesla was one of the first test subjects, an ability users who ended up dying from the traumatic testing she was put through to try and extract her ability. Such an event changed Rem, and her goal shifted to destroying the research. Upon finding out the truth about Rem’s work, the twins went through a serious period of depression, though eventually both seemingly came to accept that their step-mother had changed. This would prove false when the building housing the research would be blown up, with Rem inside, something that Knives admitted to doing.

BSD verse headcanons, part 1

Due to her not having an ability and her parents' reputation (despite that fact) she tries to often overcompensate on her abilities and seem invisible

Top ten ways to irritate her is to ask about the rumors on the gene passing on an ability she could use to her or her possible children. She knows through DNA scanning that there has never been an ability in her bloodline and if there is, it would be a mutated gene she has no idea of

Port Mafia both intimidates and irritates her as a concept due to her past experiences about their menace and her suspicions on them ordering an assassination gig on her parents

She likes to loiter around ADA building if she has to go there for more than needed, and usually she is there to talk with Ranpo in-person.

She fails to understand why Dazai seems so eager to be that suicidal attempt dumb ways to die in a row and is lucky that she isn't partnered with him that often.

Since someone requested a character map for my fic A Single Reason, I’ve gone ahead and created this little puppy. Hope this helps anyone who is/was interested. These are all the OC/borrowed characters who have actually any important impact in the story, as well as a few facts you might not know about them.

Epitaph - a mafia-like organization operating throughout the whole of Japan. Drug and illegal firearms trade. Human trafficking. Assassination. Information trade. You name it, Epitaph is probably doing it. Currently is run by the Big Four and was, at the start of the story, almost 10,000 members and associates strong. Has currently gone to ground after a tenth of personnel were apprehended by police following Izuku, Momo and Hitoshi’s desertion.

Big Four

Alkaid - Current leader of Epitaph

Real Name unknown. Quirk: “SUPERNOVA” (ability to ionize gases into hot plasma). Mysterious and secretive, little is fully understood about her other than she has a love of mythology and traditionally feminine appearances. Izuku once saw her snap a man’s spine over her knee a la Bane from Batman.

Senri - Second in command of Epitaph, as well as functional Head of Business

Real Name - “Senri ???”, wanted Momo to call him “Gin” for reasons unknown. Quirk: “HAIR STRINGS” (can manipulate his hair as a prehensile tool). Has a very survival-of-the-fittest mentality, with some (never explicitly shown) p*d*philic tendencies regarding young girls. Doesn’t actually sleep with anyone under the minimum age, though, because he’s trash, but he’s not fucking stupid. Is childhood best friends with Ken and is a former accountant. Also the only one of the Big Four who, arguably, can’t fight.

Blessed - Chief Enforcer

Real Name unknown. Quirk: UNKNOWN. Was a hero before taking a criminal apprehension too far, causing the death of purse snatcher. Is now a wanted criminal was a warrant out for her arrest. Brutal and militaristic, she was the Suzumebachi’s primary trainer before their defections/deaths, as well as a frequent tormentor of Izuku for his quirklessness. She is the one who executed Changeling for attempting to defect.

Ken - Human Resources Manager

Real Name unknown. Quirk: UNKNOWN. Former underground illegal quirk-fighting champion turned villain, Ken is mostly just a career criminal out to take care of his aging parents and keep Senri out of too much trouble. He still manages to operate inside Epitaph and with it’s members with no shred of remorse or shame, and is Senri’s best friend, so, really, how good can he be?

Executives (Aka, Bungo Stray Dog’s characters lol) - as a side note, all their quirks are their gifts in BSD.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke - Izuku’s former Handler and tormentor. Blessed assigned his charge when the boy was 11 and he has hated Izuku ever since. Cruel, temperamental and sickly.

Hirotsu Ryuro - Hitoshi’s former Handler, as well as Head of Torture, Interrogation and Assassination. Was training Hitoshi to be his apprentice and eventual successor when he “retires”.

Ozaki Koyo - Assassin and Momo’s former Handler. Looked after and genuinely cared for Momo in her own way, but only started really recognizing Momo after she voluntarily murdered Phantom’s killer. She and Alkaid also coached Izuku on how to hone his natural charisma with speech-craft.

Other Members

Sakura ??? - Wanted for trespassing, arson and cyber-terrorism, he was Momo’s programming and infiltration trainer. 

Hoshigaki - Expert Spy, Assassin and Infiltrator. Chageling’s former Handler before his defection and subsequent execution. Also is Alkaid’s older cousin. She and Blessed had a “thing” some years back.

Kurosaki - A smuggler who managed to get into the Big Four’s graces just enough to be assigned as Hecatoncheir’s Handler. He was murdered when she successfully managed to escape the organization. A member of the original squad sent to kidnap the kids.

Shouji Mezo’s paternal cousin. Became suicidal towards the end of his life. Was executed after his fellow Suzumebachi aided him in a failed escape attempt 10 months before the story starts. He was 15.

Agent Hecatonchier - Real Name “Yosano Naomi”. Quirk: “REJECTION” (psycho-kinetically push objects withing a 10-foot radius away from her). The eldest Suzumebachi who became the group’s established leader, mother and older sister all in one. She loved and cared for her fellow Suzumebachi extensively. Successfully managed to escape Epitaph 4 months before the story starts and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. She is currently 16, approaching 17.

The Families - Aka, the people who are just happy to have their children back lol. 8 years is a long time without your babies, ya know...

The Yaoyorozu Family

Yaoyorozu Hisoka - Momo’s mother. Once wanted to be a hero, but became scared after her mother was involved in a car-bombing that left her permanently disabled, then transferred to the Business course. There, she met her future fiance and the father of her child, Tsuzuki Nagare, who would die in a car accident before their marriage. Founded the Yaoyorozu Corporation with Nagare to create premier heroics equipment, supplies and medical equipment. Became a secret underground hero a la Batman called “Lightscreen”, after Momo was taken. Her quirk, “Light Image”, allows her to generate solid light constructs. Her quirk combined with Nagare’s “Toxin Excretion” to make Momo’s “Creation” quirk.

Yaoyorozu Junpei - Momo’s maternal grandfather. A bit of a traditionalist, and a quirkless artist specializing in geometric patterns. He fought hard to gain every inch of his success throughout his life. Was in an artist’s slump before meeting Chidori. She rescued him from a villain attack, and he’s been inspired by her ever since.

Yaoyorozu Chidori - Momo’s maternal grandmother. A courageous and vivacious woman, she was the Shimmering Sorceress, the number 15th Ranked hero of her generation. She saved the isle of Shikoku from the echo terrorist, Chloroshield. In her 40′s, she convinced to retire after being involved in a car bombing that necessitated the amputation of her right leg. Her quirk is “Shimmer”, which grants her the ability to bend photons to her will.

The Shinsou Family

Shinsou Izuna - Hitoshi’s father. A free-lance graphics designer now employed by Hisoka and family man who wants to be supportive of his son, but is also intimidated by his large criminal record. Hitoshi and he share the same quirk, though Hitoshi’s is admittedly more powerful than Izuna’s. He likes working outside, which is part of the reason he’s so tan in the warmer months.

Shinsou Namani - Hitoshi’s mother. A former office worker turned Hisoka’s at-home secretary. Her family, the Seiwara, have a history of mental illnesses stemming from the fact that their family line has a gene that means their brains under-produce dopamine and serotonin. She loves her family very much, and thinks her son and husband are too much like each other despite not spending much time together. Her quirk allows her to sense the neural pathways in other people’s brains, giving her a very limited kind of general, multi-target telepathy.

Shinsou Noriko - Hitoshi’s bold and stead-fast younger sister. She grew up hearing stories of her missing older brother. Now that he’s back, she’s determined to get to know him and help him get back to normal life. Not being able to go to school and hang out with her friends bothers her more than she wants to admit. Her quirk is a mix of Nanami’s and Izuna’s, which allows her to implant powerful suggestions into people’s heads at will.

Other Characters (aka, the ones who have only appeared once or twice, or are recurring, yet don’t have a name)

Tanizaki Junichirou - A BSD character who, in this verse, is a budding politician. One of Alkaid’s information brokers wanted him taken out. Izuku killed him in chapter 2.

Chief Umeji - Tsukauchi’s boss and head of police in Musutafu. A hard-assed but fair man who trusts Tsukauchi’s judgement. His quirk gives him flowering plum-branch hair. His spouse is runs a flower shop painted with a blue rose. They have an adopted daughter. He appeared in chapter 7.

Kaiun Raiyo - Momo, Izuku and Hitoshi’s therapist. Her office is a huge swimming pool due to her aquatic-based mutation quirk causing her trouble on land. Got rejected from a hero course and took the time to try and figure her life out. Her quirk is based off the Abyssal Lagiacrus from Monster Hunter Tri/3U. Appears in chapter 12.

Probation Officer - Momo, Izuku and Hitoshi’s probation officer. He’s cold at first, but seeing the kids interact with their supervisors and hearing, week after week, of their good behavior, he’s starting to soften up. Appears in chapters 8, 9, 10 and 13. He might get a name. Maybe. Eventually.

                 sharp sapphire eyes trail over the Reaper, not missing a single detail before they are forced to hide, his body dipping in what could dubiously be called a respectful bow. As he became upright he allowed uncertainty to drip into his words that would otherwise be described as cool and emotionless. 

“ It looks as if you might need more than a minute. “  There is a near dramatic pause as he repeats himself with more emphasis. “ I could smell your blood from down the hall. “  Another pause. “ Without my ability. “ 

a quick inspection of the corridor was enough to confirm that they were alone and perhaps it was for this reason that the young guard was bolder than he’d normally find himself. “ If you are not in a hurry, can I persuade you to allow me to dress it? At least to stop the stench.” The words were crude and otherwise rough, hiding any possible emotion save for his discomfort which was further made clear by the deep carmine seeming to seep into his irises.

Unprompted Asks || Always Accepting

                                 The question caught the young man off guard, face schooled into an expression of neutrality despite the surprise that flickered in resigned light blue eyes. Perhaps it was rude to scoff, but Mikalea did it anyways and gave a light shake of his head. 

“ I don’t have the luxury of thinking of such things. “ It was a bold faced lie, mouth turned down into a frown, fangs poking at lips as he looked at his own hands. Silence ate away at him, pressure coming down on him as he took a breath and glanced at the other suspiciously. Was this some kind of test? Maybe not, but how much could he actually trust him with such honesty? Of course he had thought about leaving. Hadn’t most of them that had been forced into such a position? He hadn’t been given a choice when he had been picked up and forced to train his body and ability to become a useful tool for the mafia. But then again... Maybe not... Some seemed perfectly suited for this life and it wasn’t as if the pay was bad either, but when it came down to it... what was the cost? Teeth grit against each other and blood beaded as skin broke on his lips, tongue quick to swipe up the drop. 

Sure... he had thought of leaving, but then what? There was nothing out there for him anymore. Yuu-chan was gone, his ability made him a monster... there was nothing for him out there in that bright world... So why bother when he was so suited for the dark? “ ... have you ever thought of it? “  and in a simple question perhaps he revealed his true thoughts on the matter.

                                Ears pricked at the sound of movement, though the member could see, he hadn’t taken full liberties with ‘stealing’ his eyesight today, so he relied more on sound than usual. But he didn’t need complete sight to know that the other was pushing off the desk and making his way towards him, he could feel it in the shift of the air, could hear and feel his breath as he spoke and the man couldn’t help his own slight smile. 

“ Surprising? Really? “ He lets out a hum. “ Maybe I haven’t been sending the right signals then...” He trails off and leans closer, if only to see how the executive would respond. There was little space between them now. “ You know I can’t. Every single sense is honed in on you. Even if I wanted to, I can’t help but catch myself staring off in your direction. “
