Continuing with the rambling over the descendants x twst AU I talked about in this post (more specifically in the tags)

Evie and Carlos have the easiest time bonding with Vil and Professor Crewel. With Crewel, everyone finds the way he talks to his students weird but it was really easy to clock him as Cruella's reincarnation. As a teacher, it's easier to go to him with the excuse of asking for advice and help without feeling out of place, so definitely more approachable

With Vil, it kinda depends if Evie is sorted in Pomefiore (which I'm going with lol), if she is then Vil as the Housewarden of Pomefiore automatically becomes more approachable to her. I feel like they'll clash a little when it comes to tastes in fashion but Evie is eager to learn everything she can from Vil, about skin & hair care, makeup, hairstyling, etc, etc... Vil will also teach her about Magical Potions and maybe they'll create the deadliest poison together (and the cure, per Evie's request)

evie was all too excited when she was offered a tour of elfhame. she was not from there, and she had only just learned that she was a princess by birthright. not in elfhame, but another island called the isle of the lost. it still didn't feel real to her, it felt like a dream, but if it was a dream, she never wanted to wake up. especially when her new life meant getting tours of palaces from high royalty themselves. evie couldn't stop smiling as they walked through the palace.

was she blushing? there was a moment hesitation as she considered cardan's question. "no," she decided on — a little white lie. yes, she was blushing. she couldn't help it, it was an involuntary reaction of the nervous system and ... well, she need not explain that to @cybervale. "that's just my natural glow," she embellished with a little gesture toward her still smiling face. "... you were saying?"

Despite everything they have been through, Evie always tries to have a positive outlook on light. She's more bubbly than Mal, that's for certain, but that doesn't mean she isn't concerned when Mal speaks her thoughts.

How long has she been feeling like this?

Maybe Mal is right and Evie feels guilty for leaving behind so many on the Isle but they'll work hard to get them here, won't they?

"Do you really mean that?" Her voice is soft, not judgemental, but concerned. This is obviously coming from somewhere and Evie wants to know why. "Are you okay, Mal?"

it's at the same time steve's going to grab a piece of fruit off the table in the cafeteria that blue-haired girl seems to be. he stops from reaching for it, lets out a little chuckle and then gestures to the fruit bowl. "you go ahead." he's quiet for a second, and then - something he'd been wanting to say if he got the chance to talk to evie ... "i just wanna say, i really love what you're doing - with the isle kids? bringing them over here and everything? i've heard some horror stories from jay and carlos at practice, what it's like over there. and i just - i dunno, i'm really glad those kids are getting the same chance you got. i never really agreed much with the whole isle thing." he gives a little shrug. "it just seemed all kinds of messed up."
