Ahhh atiny, yet another day where me being at work for 8 hours really hits the leaderboard hard. I thought being up all night would offset things buuuuut the app was more glitchy than usual (understandable) and I was paying more attention to the stream than to my phone.

We didn’t get the fans choice top 10. I had been worried about that (re: how much I am able to notice my own effect on that leaderboard). But I feel like atiny’s real focus was elsewhere (over a million Golden Hour Pt 2 sales!! ☀️)

Still, last night was great. I squealed when Japan started off with GGUM ngl. TONIGHT IS WHAT I AM MOST EXCITED FOR THO!!!

And even if I’ll never know if we move up from here im still going to post today (while working another 8h but uhhh shhh). Just so that every so often fans in the gallery see ATEEZ 💜✨🏴‍☠️

I had a real nostalgia trip the last few hours so storytime...

Back in 2007, when I was a young college freshman, just learning how to be an independent adult (pffft hahahaha), I used to post to y!Gallery. I didn't have a specific fandom that I really wanted to draw for. I just wanted to explore gay smut and lemme tell you, the aughts was a helluva time to be growing up with the internet.

Then I came across Spy vs Spy. I never thought I'd get so enamored with a comic from MAD magazine, but hey, Mountain Dew commercials were surprisingly influential??

I know what you're thinking: These guys are supposed to be Black Spy and White Spy? I drew them stylized at one point because I got tired of one salty user's subtweet in an SvS club. I'm likely going to try another version that's more faithful to the classic Prohias style, but seriously, I like interpreting character designs from simplified shapes.

Moral of the story? Don't let some disgruntled asshat's comments get in the way of your joy. ʅ(ツ)ʃ

Fastforward to 2023, I got inspired to look up an online author who wrote one of my most favorite SvS fic after I found my first attempt at drawing a comic adaptation. So many complicated but positive feelings came up when I saw the familiar icon and the same comic page that I made on a Wacom Bamboo and Adobe Photoshop Elements... And that's how we got to this redraw :)

OMG thx thx thx (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) This is too much compliment than my arts actually deserve. lol And nowadays I don't think there is still a hard-boundary between "serious-school-artshow-gallery-direction" and fandom creativity anymore. It always depends on the creator's standpoint where he/she/they want things to be. For me, fandom arts value just the same as my main artworks at day: they both are the most precious. :)

It’s been quite some time since i’ve last posted... i just wanna say thank you sooo much for 100+ and helping to me grow and allowing me show my deep love for the sims (that didn’t sound cheesy at all... dang) Here is a nice little gift I worked on, and lemme tell you... this kicked my butt cause I wasn’t just working on the gift but school as well and man THAT IS HELL!!!
