Via...has very complicated feelings toward her late father. Which don't get me wrong, she loves him and values the time they spent together always, in her future verse where she has children she does recall good memories of him and even goes on to recreate his garden that Stella had left to rot. However, that doesn't change the fact that he did hurt both her and her mother.

And she never got a chance for any closure.

Like yeah WE all know that Stella and Stolas were miserable for several years and quickly grew to resent each other, but from Via's perspective her parents went from loving to screaming and fighting 24/7. Then there's the added fact that neither parents really wanted her, if either of them had a choice they wouldn't have had Octavia at all. Double the fact that for most of her early childhood she was being lied to.

Even if we go the route of Stolas' cheating didn't hurt Stella personally (which isn't true with my potrayal) it did hurt Via. Not only was her dad CONSTANTLY flirting with Blitz in front of her, but constantly flaunting their relationship and growing more distant from her as a result was just rough....Octavia constantly wonders that if given the chance would he have just run away with Blitz and forgot her completely despite claiming otherwise?

Was her father truly just a man in love recklessly pursuing his passions or was he just being selfish not thinking about how his actions would affect others? Affect them?

Her relationship with Stella isn't much better mind you (my Stella is TRYING but also isn't sure how to be what her daughter needs), but Stella is alive. They can talk shit out worse case scenario, Stolas is dead. And despite how hurt she's been by him, she'd give anything just to have a conversation with him again. But she can't. And that's something she's making peace with.

Been busy all day but I'll finally set up Octavia's future / adult verse

-> Takes place in her mid twenties - mid thirties, specific age will vary depending on what works best for the thread

-> Miiight have it be open to other ships but by default she's married to Marsha ( @civicmuses ) and they have five kiddos together

-> Officially has taken over Stolas' role, but honestly she kind of shares the position with her mother as they both work on it. Both to ensure the best quality possible and allow Via to be there for her family

-> Stella is still around, but older and a bit more mellow in her age

-> Slightly taller roughly 6'10 lmao didn't get a massive growth spurt still tiny by goetia standards

-> Might draw it properly later but here's her default look

-> No. Has not grown out of her goth phase, just classier about it lmao

-> Still has anxiety but managing it a lot better, still pretty introverted and snarky though, but is far more mature than her seventeen year old self

-> Also cause it's sweet I like to think her and her daughter Kimaris revived her late father's old garden still tending to it to this day

6. a bad habit

Octavia does tend to like assume the worst about most situations lmao and she generally worries a lot more than she lets on. She tends to jump to conclusions, over think and speculate too much on what could go wrong. A part of it is just anxiety and general teenage hormones but like it's rare Octavia doesn't get a bad feeling about something

And 9/10 even when she's proven wrong that bad feeling doesn't go away. It's the main result of why she lashes out so often

Stella would have never had kids if she had been given the choice. Stolas likely wouldn't have had kids or at least had them with someone else. Rather than the woman he had grown to hate.

Sometimes she feels less like a daughter, especially in regards to Stolas. She's not his daughter, she's the daughter of the woman he hates, she's not his daughter she's the heir to the Ars Goetia, she's not his daughter and she's not Stella's daughter. She's the symbol of years of hate, bitterness, resentment and the only thing to come out of their horrible union.

Okay but to be real we do see Octavia have cereal so she can consume dairy but like

In small amounts (like most people who are lactose intolerant)

If she has too much she will have stomach issues or possibly get sick but milk won't literally kill her
