Reports came informing the king of a weird movement coming from the outrealm gate. Chrom assigned Cordelia and Gaius to the matter and hoped it is nothing alarming. However, later that week a message came from someone unexpected--Tharja, telling the king that a heavy presence was around the border between Ylisse and Plegia and if she was not wrong, that was the same aura as Grima. It couldn’t be right? Grima was fell by his partner and had to disappear into purgatory for almost a year and half. Grima could not possibly had came back. There is no way. Thus, the King set to see for himself if Grima had really came back or not. 

“Is this the place that the report says the strange individual was spotted on?” he looked around for any suspicious person.

since i have two ongoing relationships (plus my mysterious village maiden ha), two are still developing, i felt that with each wife, lucina will have some traits over from her mother. there is part of me, ngl, wants lucina to just be krum’s replica because everyone got their children who loves them but eh, gotta share love. and besides, she already got the best traits in chrom, blues blues and break them walls~

anyway, serious talk ha.

the only sharable hc with all lucinas, that end of her hair is a gradient to mother’s hair color. may fade with time but it is there. skin color might be affected if the mother’s skin is either way darker or paler than chrom’s.

Nations were slowly picking up the pieces after the great battle between the shepherds and grima. it was a day, everyone will remember for years to come. not only peace was finally restored, the hatred that lingered in everyone’s heart was slowly but surely. 

It was certainly overwhelming when Robin had to sacrifice himself in order to stop grima once and for all, but thankfully naga lent the man a hand and gave him another chance in life. True that it was no surprise that Robin would decide to go back to Plegia upon his recovery to be with his mother, the queen. even though chrom had his doubts he could not force his opinion on his friend and wished him the best of luck in his new life and role. 

time passed and the two barely saw each other after that being busy in their roles. fixing what the war tore down was not an easy feat to be done in a few months. heck, even when robin or he visits, it is almost purely work-related. 

If only chrom knew that this would cause some kind of rift that the remnants of the grimleal would use to attack them he would have done things differently. but the sad truth that some of these grimleal took this chance to abuse robin’s name and cause troubles in his name.

the first few reports of villages near the border being raided by order from the crown prince of plegia were cast away and dealt with the ruffians. chrom only assumed it was a failed attempt from unnamed ruffians to stir trouble between the two countries and decided to not report this issue to robin or the queen. it calmed down until more raids and attacks were done to the ylissean villages and when they investigated them, some of those attackers had a memo, an instruction of some sort. upon examining it, it sadly....tied robin to this since the handwriting was none other the crown prince himself. 

suspicion crawled into the king’s heart. there is no way robin would have ordered something like that! but.....if...if it is his mother who ordered this then..n-no! even his mother! robin would not allow her to start a new war at all! there are friends! and their bond is stronger to be broken by this.

however, the last straw was when someone who magically disguised as robin was seen around ordering plegian soldiers to attack. chrom couldn’t confront this robin because as soon chrom reached the scene, the fake robin simply made effort to get chrom to see his face and then disappear before any confrontation. news traveled fast and the ylisseans were not happy with this. they demanded a stop and it is their right since they were afraid. chrom in this chaos had received threats that the fire emblem was next thus what made him retrieve the emblem and keep it in his position at all times. it was a risky move but if robin aimed to take it then he knows chrom will have it and thus the crown prince ought to meet him and by that chrom can question him about this--all of this.

more soldiers were deployed around the border, plegians were not allowed to enter before checking them, the situation was not as calm as it was months ago. surely by now, the news traveled to the plegian castle.

“robin....what happened?....why...?” questioning the twisted turn of events, his children came into the study room, all worried. of course, they would. they loved robin as much as they loved chrom. lucina tried her best to cheer chrom and inigo helped as well. the king tried to reassure them that nothing bad is going to happen and told them to go play outside so he can work which they did. soon after losing himself to his thoughts, the gems glow with unsettling light, especially sable. somehow, the negative feelings chrom possessed were growing as he looked at sable. shaking his head, he felt tired and decided to take a break from all of the thinking. little did he know that the gem was doing the exact thing that happened to validar--simply amplify his negative emotions.

Despite that war ended years ago, Grima is gone but who worshiped this fell dragon still roam around, causing fear and trouble wherever they go. Reports keep flooding the exalt’s room every now and then asking to get rid of these zealots.

Today, after another meeting, an urgent report came post haste to inform the exalt that there is a group terrorizing a village on the border of Ylisse and Plegia. “What?!” Chrom quickly prepared to go himself ignoring Robin’s advice to stay behind and leave it for the knights. “I have to do something, myself so these bastards know that I’ll be there to stop them every time they pull something dirty like that. You agree too, Robin? You want to go as well but you are using me as an excuse to hold yourself from going there. Come on, for the old times.” he patted the tactician’s shoulder and head outside.

Once they reached the village, Robin immediately started to draw a proper plan to infiltrate the village with no casualties, as possible. “So, what are we going to do, chief?”

Since the war has ended, minus the other skirmishes here and there, Ylisstol finally caught a break from the ongoing restoration process. It was about time they break from the sadness that shadowed their lives for a long time. Ylissean were overjoyed to finally being able to return back to their usual lives--one full of peace and safety.

Being the EXALT, he had to ensure this festival, (that they took from their neighboring country because yes for intertwined culture) this Halloween thing is moving smoothly. Once everything was set in motion, it was his turn to simply enjoy this event as any Ylissean around.

Olivia was busy with the children helping her Lucina and they told him to go on without them until they figure a way to calm the children down (someone wants the candies first.) Luckily, he did not have to wander alone as Laslow was leaning on the wall near the door. He was waiting for his father. A nod before greeting him.

“I ..thought you’d be with your own family? Did you escape so you can pick on the ladies? Heh haha no, no. I know you won’t. So...care to tag along with your old man? . . . Great! Thanks.” With that, the two walked into town to enjoy the festival vibes. Together.
