Dating in the 21st century has been made both easier and more challenging by the rise of multiple dating apps. Sometimes a girl just wants to escape into a fantasy world where everything is easier, and a handsome prince will simply come along to sweep her off her feet. Trivia:

○ Many of the actors featured in this video had appeared in earlier PattyCake projects.

Hannah had provided many vocals for the "Unexpected Musicals" series, and portrayed Charlotte La Bouff on screen in the Princess Academy holiday special episode.

Mike played the animator in the "Disney Girls Like You" video the previous spring.

Robby, Michael, Navid, Russell, and Chris are all reprising their respective roles from The Villains Lair.

John had embodied Thor for "Avengers: Thunder" a year and a half earlier. He'd also had a supporting role in the PattyCake-produced music video "Dad Bod" from his wife's semi-fictional girl group 4Eva29.

Chaz first appeared as Kronk in the "Teamwork Makes the Scheme Work" episode of The Villiains Lair.

Julian took over the role of Prince Phillip from his brother Jason, who had played him in "Michaeleficent". He'd also had a supporting role in 4Eva29's "Dad Bod" video.

Brad, who plays John Smith here, was previously Prince Adam in "Beauty and the Bieber".

○ Some of the new faces made a good enough impression to be asked back for future productions.

Steve has reprised the role of Hans in the second season of the Villains Lair series.

Deion would soon play one of the restless folks enduring lockdown in "Quarantine: the Musical".

Daniel has returned several times over the ensuing years for roles in "Once Upon a Time: the musical", "Villains Haunted Mansion", and a tongue-in-cheek version of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" featuring The Grinch.

○ Ever After Character Events, who got a shoutout in the end screen, provide costumed performers for parties and other events in the Orlando area. Unsurprisingly, many of their services are for Disney princesses, but several of these cast members had also worked with them as princes, superheroes, and pirates.

○ There's a slight production error with the time the video takes place. The analog clock on the wall sits at 6 o'clock, but the phone's lock screen shows 12:00.

○ The rubber Hei-Hei later appeared in VoicePlay's music video for "Friends on the Other Side", filmed on PattyCake's stage procenium set with J.None wearing their Dr. Facilier costume.

he has pollen allergies and it slows him down in battle

and the dumb flowers, ugh ignoring the pollen, talk about a marketing scheme

now there’s some shitty fucking dance he’s expected to go to? just to stand around a sweaty banquet hall with mediocre punch and loud ass 2010s music?

that’s a huge no for him. no hesitation.

sure he hated spring, pollen, people cheering for no fucking reason, trashy punch

but he didn’t hate y/n

kirishima thought bakugou had his mind made up

“Hey dude! You planning on asking anyone to the dance??”

“So hypothetically, FUCKIN HYPOTHETICALLY, when like a guy wants to ask someone to a dance, which is stupid and dumb so I’d never do that— how would he do it? Not me obviously just for a fuckin uh… friend.”

“… A friend?”

“Yes, a fuckin friend, is that so hard to believe, bitch?”

“Nah man, just wondered! But alright, if I was your friend, I’d buy them flowers! Who doesn’t like flowers?”

“… ‘k whatever.”

and with that, bakugou yanked his falling pants up and stormed off as always (a/n: king wear a belt-)

who doesn’t like flowers? bakugou, that’s who. and hell, he didn’t even know if y/n liked them either. but, it’s better than nothing

so friday rolls around and aizawa gives the class a 10 minute break after finishing notes early

there’s a buzz in the class, familiar chatter, dance planning, gossip, nothing too out of the ordinary

when bakugou approaches your desk you were standing near, his nose is twitchy and red

“Oi, y/n.”

you look around, confused asf

“Yeah, I’m talking to you dumbass.”

“Ok well uh, you just gonna stand there orrrr??”

he rolls his eyes and unceremoniously lifts up a subtle bouquet that had been resting in his hands moments before

lavender and babies breath with a few lily of the valley

you hadn’t noticed, there were more important things to worry about-

he sniffled once, averting his eyes, practically glaring holes into the wall

“Shit- just fucking take them, my eyes burn like all hell.”

taking the flowers from his hands with a small movement, he studies you carefully before pinching the bridge of his nose

he can’t take it, those god damn eyes again

“Listen- shit, fuck..- just.. y/n, be my date for the dance.”

Snowed In (Princess Academy) — PattyCake Productions music video

The holiday special is a grand, long standing tradition in entertainment, including Disney shows. So what better group to have a wholesome seasonal gathering than the ladies of the Princess Academy? When PattyCake assembled most of their princesses from across the realms for a night of winter magic, not even a vindictive magic-wielding queen could interrupt the festivitives for long.

Trivia:

More than a year had passed between the release of the first and second episodes of this series. As Tony and Layne mentioned on their Q&A livestream the previous April, coordinating the schedules of that many cast members is tricky at best.

In the interim, many of the ladies had appeared in PattyCake's version of "Girls Like You" by Maroon 5, and a few were featured in the Villains Lair crossover episode that introduced Megara.

Hannah had played a few background characters and provided vocals for featured characters in the "Unexpected Musicals" series, but playing Charlotte is her first time acting in a named role on screen in a PattyCake project.

The storytime art was created by Tony and their regular collaborator Leon King.

If you watch closely during the wishing star exposition, you can see the boom mic operator reflected in the window behind Rapunzel and Jasmine.

Cassandra borrowed the Belle gown for a cosplay photo shoot two years later.

Aca Top 10: Summer Hits 2014 — VoicePlay music video

After the whirlwind schedule of the first Sing-Off tour, completing several video projects it spawned, and then embarking on a series of cruise ship gigs, VoicePlay were ready for some summertime relaxation. For the first installment in their "Aca Top 10" series, they put together a countdown of recent chart-toppers. Recording it live meant that, once they got a good take, there was very little post-production required.

Trivia:

Earl made the title-and-artist signs that Layne holds up. (I assume he also made the butts for "Wiggle", but that particular detail wasn't specified.)

"Rude" was part of the "aca-Disney mashup" VoicePlay recorded a few months later as part of the Disney on Broadway 20th anniversary celebration.

They later performed a full version of "Stay With Me" for their VIP sessions during the 2015 Sing-Off tour, and recorded a video for it while they were on the road.

"Wiggle" was also included in Home Free's "Butts Remix" medley, which Layne helped them arrange.

A very speedy creator made a My Little Pony fanvid using the audio from this medley in less than a week.
