hey there...so my friend @messyourprettyhair-archiveblog and I used to imagine an au for Persephone Sam, stolen and dragged to hell by Hades Luci, who is so sure he can convince Sam (by any means necessary) to stay and be Queen, while on Earth, Demeter!Dean spreads death and desolation for every second until he gets Sam back. It was mostly in dms between ourselves, but I'll rb some inspo posts that I still have.

so so obsessed with this concept. i love how it’s basically canon s5/post swan song except dean didn’t spread death and desolation but canonically “every part of him wanted to die or find a way to bring sam back”

It's time.

Whatever pings in the forefront of his mind is jarring. It's that time again. Sooner than last time. Wait — didn't this just happen? Too many questions and speculations whorl together to focus on.. Ricochet makes himself blink. Looks at the half-fogged version of himself in the mirror, mid-brush. Some toothpaste foams at the corner of his mouth. The whites of his eyes are veined in red, bloodshot as always.

Shit, he doesn't have time for this.

Doesn't, but still goes through the motion to leave immediately. Hastily scrubs the other half of his teeth, spits out a glob, claws on clothes with still damp hair, and he's out. Follows that terrible aching feeling like it's his north fucking star. And, to some extent, it's not an incorrect comparison. Ricochet is bound to find the fucker that crawls out of one. It's just not at the beginning, typically. So when he find's that dog barely free from shards of meteorite… Yeah, he feels like it’s a justified idea to put another bullet in that bloody head. He won’t, but fuck was it tempting.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Ricochet hisses, sure to keep his voice low. His body even lower as some federal eyes try to pinpoint the anomaly. They haven’t found Jie yet. He’s already turned invisible to the human eye, but not his. Rather unfortunate in this circumstance since the mutt’s scrambling around ass naked.

“Get—“ There’s the slightest shift in his periphery, but it’s enough for him to draw his piece. Go still for the briefest of seconds before realizing it’s not an entire stranger. Ricochet lets out a hard breath through the nose. Only lowers the gun slightly before nodding towards the empty space where Jie’s stranded. “Got him mostly surrounded. Think he’s too fresh to deal with all of them on his own.”

hi lily!! and yes, i totally do!

i think thesh would be the second oldest out of 4 children. an older sister, himself, a younger brother and a younger sister. they would've lived with both parents, and he alongside his older sister and father would've been working on the fields. while i do know that younger kids did help out as obviously there was rue, I think the age to start would be 12 — just like reaping age. thresh's baby siblings would be just under that. i don't think he would've had a girl back home officially, but maybe a potential flame he set his eye on before he was reaped. his build would've been an asset during both work and school (say for example sports.)

probably not the most popular socially, but definitely admired by the friends he did have due to his strength. rue likely reminded him of his last sister — even if she may have been a little younger.

- The day you met Anna, you two immediately clicked. After meeting at an art class in your boarding school, you couldn’t help but notice the meticulous detail in her paintings. In your eyes, it lacked the personality that most art held, but it was impressive how she captured the likeness of any scene. After approaching her and complimenting her, you two were always seen with one another.

- Whether it be at your own house or Anna’s, it would always be filled with afternoons of painting and watching her practice fencing. Watching her handle a blade was similar to watching her brushstrokes— planned and precise. It was mesmerizing how aggressive she could be as such a gentle soul, which has inspired many of your paintings of Anna.

- Even though Anna has a “glass half full” mentality, she’s nearly ranted to you about how frustrated she secretly is about not being good enough. The amount of time she’s spent on art, only to be told time after time about the lack of emotion that was in her pieces. Anna has spent many nights crying to you, only for her to put on a smile the next day. It worried you, but all you could do was offer your unending support for her.

- After two years of knowing Anna, deep down you had come to realize your feelings for her. Luckily for you, she had as well. The two of you had painted one another portraits to express your love for one another. With paintings tucked under your arm, both of you confessed under the light of the moon, giggling and kissing one another senselessly.

- I feel like with Anna being colorblind, you would be the one helping her with clothing shopping. It was almost like Anna was your dress-up doll, and she was more than willing to do so for you (plus, she’d much rather let you make those decisions for her).

- At times while Anna is engrossed in her painting, you’ve caught her off guard— making her jump from the disturbance. She’ll never be upset about it though; she considers it a welcome interruption. Nothing would beat the feeling when you would drape your arms across her shoulders, your face nuzzling against her own. Gods, it’s her absolute favorite.

- Anna’s a light sleeper for sure. When you two are sleeping and you move away from her, she’s wide awake. She’ll practically hunt you down to cuddle up against you— she hates being away from you, even if she knows you’re right there beside her.

- The one thing Anna will make sure of is that you two have a pet or two. She wouldn’t accept anyone who doesn’t love pets. Anna loves cats, but I can imagine her taking you on a date to pick two kittens. Her entire camera roll is filled to the brim with pictures of you with the pets, and she frequently looks back on them with a smile.

- Before you two had even gotten into a relationship, she always expressed her love of traveling. Every year during the summer, you two will take a week-long trip to wherever you two decide. Anywhere with the ocean and art galleries is her favorite, but what’s most important to Anna is that you’re happy.

- Anna cherishes the times when you clean the paint off of her skin. The gentle caresses of the cloth in your hand make her melt under your touch immediately (she won’t admit it, but she’ll purposefully wipe paint on her arms or face).

- You’ll have to teach her to communicate her actual feelings. All her life she hid how she felt— and it transferred into her relationships. Anna often pushed her opinions aside to please you, but you could always tell she was telling white lies. Anna doesn’t mean to, but losing you would ruin her.

- What else would Anna paint more than her only muse? You’ve already found several little sketches along notepads and the like, plus many portraits that Anna has done of you. She can’t help it though; you’re always on her mind and her canvases.

The retort was delivered with more vehemence than intended:

Lamplight flickered momentarily as he simmered and seethed.  In life, Royce had been a livewire, hot-blooded, quick to rise with his temper.  In death, his emotions were bloated, swelling like a putrefying gut.  Hanging over him was the ever present temptation to fall to violence, to shake the bedframe and shatter mirrors, to rage against the glass walls of a world he was no longer a part of.

When his heart was still beating, he had gone through the motions of petty jealousy and protectiveness, peeling whatever cherry he was dating away from the grasping greasers who tried to eat from his plate.  It had been superficial, a choreography mirrored and rehearsed largely without feeling.

Feelings filled him now, burning at the back of his haemorrhaged eyes, brimming in the hollow spaces of his body, holding his corpse together like so many silver threads.  This was different – all of it.  College called and it unsettled him to watch Persephone move past the point where his own life had ended.

A day would come where his grave would be visited for the final time.  All flowers would rot away, the headstone slowly claimed by lichen.  Persephone, too, would outgrow him.  He realised that now. There were desires he would never be able to satisfy, fulfilments she could only find among the living.  After all, he had no life to share with her.

The lamplight settled back to its steady, warm-white glow.  Now, it was Royce who flared and dimmed, his manifestation stuttering.  The rotten apple of his throat bobbed as he feigned nonchalance, hooking thumbs through his bloody belt loops and sitting weightless at the edge of Persephone’s bed.  She was perched at her desk, surrounded by open books and piles of papers, green eyes blown wide and dark.  His heart was hers, worm-eaten though it was. 

“I didn’t like the way he was eyeballin’ you, that’s all.”

Pomegranate

The pomegranate is most famously attributed to the Greek goddess, Persephone. Though versions of the story differ: with some saying Persephone was tricked into eating pomegranate seeds to be trapped in the underworld, and some saying she willingly chose to eat the seeds. Pomegranate's have a hard exterior that is tough to crack. Your hard shell is a natural protectant and keeps you safe from those that only wish to use you. Internally you are rich with bounties. You believe in living your life passionately and vibrantly. The idea of surrendering to a fate of being confined to anything, whether it be a relationship, a job, or family dynamic where you are not happy and lack agency is a terrifying prospect. It is fears like this which also prevent you from opening up and showing vulnerability to those around you. However, like the pomegranate whose seeds sparkle like gemstones, you hide inside you incredible beauty that only the most worthy deserve to see.

He had left the Underworld some time ago to become a hunter of Artemis. It was winter now, the first snows had fallen. So why was Persephone not in the Underworld? (Archeon is my Greco-Roman OC. Hope this is okay). @talesofshadowandlight

The queen of the Underworld smiled at the Demigod. She had known the young man since he was a child and held a soft spot in her heart for him.

"Everything is fine, unlike when I am serving as goddess of spring. I am not barred from moving between the realms, I can go where I like." But even as she spoke, the snow around her was melting.

"I promised your mother that I would come and check in on you."

Hey fero, this is lore, i'm in a better place now, im not sure if im ever going back to the server again but im just wondering hownits doing

It's been going well! We actually just changed owners the other day, now Reye is in charge! We're up to 99 members now! We even have a really cute Question of the Day function for things like hcs, favorite characters, etc!

And there's still a lot of submas posting, we've stayed surprisingly hyperfixated even after all this time haha. I've basically taken over the shipping channel though, we may as well call it Fero's Ingirida Channel now skxjsmmd

Do you remember the second blankshipping server that was made shortly after ours? I've joined over there, too, and now there are people who have crossed over into our server, too! So it kind of feels like having neighbors where everyone just randomly wanders into whichever house they want, it's really nice and homey. Our server is the less active one, so it's good and cozy for the users that get too overwhelmed by how busy the second server is haha. I frequent both servers since you know how much I like to yell, but ours is always the one that still feels like home to me, and it's where I settle in and get comfy even when my spoons are minimal. ♡

So it's still doing well! And I'm really happy to find out you're in a better place and doing better, too. I hope it keeps getting better for you. ♡
