Watching Chicago PD and I just started season 4. And I just want to throw Damon and Enzo as vamps into the one chicago fandom cause it could be fun. Someone stop me rofl.

"It's a nice pub," Enzo smiled and nodded. And it was but that didn't mean he enjoyed the memories that that spot brought back. Enzo slipped his hands into his pockets and smiled as he looked at Finn. It was nice being around someone knew and just having a conversation with him. "I can imagine. Hopefully they were fun nights though."

“Maybe the pub then, I have been on multiple pub crawls in the city,” Finn said with a grin. He ran a hand through his hair to keep himself from touching the man at his side. He was never more aware of the fact he was a very tactile person than when he was next to someone new. “I will admit that I might not remember it now. Those nights are very foggy.”

"Perhaps but it is the truth," Enzo smiled at her. "You can but I don't want you to ask and end up upset or feeling sorry for me when it's all in the past and should stay there." He knew it made him who he was but he didn't want to talk about it when it wasn't relative.

“Not really,” he said gently. There was one person who had stood out but she was gone and he didn’t want to be angry at one of his few friends all over again so he said nothing. “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened in my life, Bonnie Bennett and nothing will change that,” he smiled gently as he held her.

“Mm, now that’s just cheesy.” She teased, leaning into Enzo easily. “Well, I guess I’ll just have to ask you about your life now then. Since you’re clearly only living your best life now and not back then.”

“Now we can get past it,” Enzo stated as he looked at her before taking a sip of the tea he’d been nursing. He was used to the apprehension and fear because he hadn’t been allowed to explore the changing times and come into his own around others. He was forced to be an experiment and bide his time until he was finally free. He could be kind but also cruel if need be. “The question now is what you want with me.”

"I may not be as old as you, but I'm a vampire, too; what makes you think I'd be afraid of you. I only feared one thing in my life: the bastard that killed my fiance when I was human; not scared of him anymore because I ripped his heart out of his chest." Ellis said as she rolled her eyes at Enzo. "So now that you know I'm not afraid of you, what now?"

“I was,” Enzo nodded, his dark eyes focused on the other vampire. “I was captured and experimented on by a group that had their own motivations,” he stated. He kept it vague because he didn’t feel like expanding on something to someone he didn’t know that well. He didn’t need to be turned into a sideshow as he assumed the other didn’t want to turned into one by him. There was a lot that he wanted to ask but he wouldn’t because he could assume it wasn’t much different than his own captivity.

❝ Wait...you were an experiment too? ❞ Anthony had thought he was the only one. He'd spent over a century in some cage underground with men who thought he was the answer to eternal youth without them succumbing to the same disease he had. He had lost everything because of them, his family, his title, his future...and for what? He'd been turned against his will in pursuit of their experiments, and when they didn't stay young, he was punished for it. It was pure luck that he'd managed to get out. ❝ H-how? I never thought there were others like me. ❞

Was he scared? He wasn't sure. He knew his mind had been fractured by what had been done to him, and restricted on his blood intake, he now found it hard to control the blood lust now that he could drink as much as he want. So if his own experiences were anything to go by, then yes...he supposed he ought to be scared.
