Almia was... different. Smaller than Unova by far, and boasting a far more natural landscape than what he was used to. It was the kind of drastic change he had needed after fleeing the only region he'd ever known, hoping that - should he run far and fast enough - he might just be able to leave behind the memories of that castle and everything that had happened within it.

The police would be looking for him too, no doubt. Puppet leader or not, he'd still played a part in bringing widespread fear and manipulation across Unova, tearing apart pokemon-Trainer duos in the name of liberation. If they proved themselves a persistent nuisance, he'd have to think about relocating again soon.

...But that was an issue for later. He had the whole rest of his life to mull over those things, if necessary, and Almia had provided a wealth of new information for him to learn from in the meantime.
