The Witches of Abarith and the Vampires have an ongoing war. Though it's calmed down over the years to just petty pranks, street brawls and occasional acts of arson, Wyatt and Luka do not get along. Once childhood friends (and Luka does not give a shit about Wyatt), Wyatt frequently when in the same room as Luka loses his temper and attempts to murder him. The easiest way to set Wyatt off is to ask about his family, or Luka Reid and his family.

Father of (Vercingetorix) Eric, who is actually a fracture of Artemis' soul and his first creation. Uncle to Adriel.

Technically a Shapeshifter himself, he is locked to two forms due to having mentally broken himself and shattered his own soul. The form of a child (chosen to create a feeling of comfort in people since a child seems innocent) and his true form (an adult man).

The second strongest being in Abarith / the universe, surpassed by Eric strictly speaking because he's broken / at half power.

Fiercely protective of Eric he will regularly attempt to harm (mentally and physically) anyone who gets close to Eric.

Enjoys violence, pain, blood, ritualistic sacrifices and dissecting people. Enjoys it more when in the chaotic (child) form.

One of Seven Pillars that created the foundation for the universe / Abarith. Artemis is the youngest of his siblings who were very afraid of him because of what he could do and what he was creating. Artemis' siblings isolated him out and after centuries of mental torture he became what he is.

Vurphoadith facts.

Although he is exceedingly tall, 7'5" (228.6cm), he never stands completely straight. He's always a bit slouched over and has rather terrible posture.

He can't die. Despite multiple attempts, in several creative ways, from poisoning himself to beheading to stakes through the heart--he doesn't die. His body regenerates itself, can even regrow limbs. If he's hurt bad enough his body will go into a slumber like state until it fully recovers.

His true name is unpronouncable by human tongue. Hence him dubbing himself Artemis. Giving it away is intimate and having his real name is enough for someone to summon him. He typically doesn't give it away.

Due to the fracture in his soul the splitted small fragments of it, Artemis is very unbalanced. The tiny compressed form he takes is when he gets exceedingly overwhelmed by everything, when his emotions get the better of him, when he feels like he's going to explode. The tiny form takes over, it's angry, it's pissed, it's full of emotions and overwhelmed. The doll he carries holds the extra magic and a part of his soul in it. It's made of human flesh.

Artemis loves sweets.

His choice of fashion is usually comfortable clothing. He likes sweaters and long sleeved shirts.

Despite having created humans he detests them and how fragile they are.

Despite even Eric being a chimera, being half of so many things, he doesn't like creatures that are multiple things.

He will burn the world for Eric and in general.

His true form has horns, wings, and glowing blood red eyes.

Pro.

Is Rich. But has donated a large sum of money to Abarith to help rebuild itself after King Gaito Nakamura's reign. Hiroki is working to repay it but Eric doesn't want him to.

His house is full of magic, Eric's own magic, meaning he can magically expand and shorten it at will. Not enough rooms? He'll magically make you one no worries.

He has incredible fashion, constantly looks his best, takes great care in his appearence.

He will protect you. He's very protective over those he cares about. Someone makes you cry? Hurts you? Upsets you in anyway? He'll either verbally rip them apart or physically put them down.

He can dance, he doesn't really like to dance though. But he is an incredible dancer.

Con.

He will kill for you. He doesn't care if you want him to or not.

He doesn't sleep. Eric can and does need to sleep but he doesn't. Full of nightmares, memories that are painful, insomnia plagues him more often than not. Even when asked to he won't go to bed with you.

He runs rather cold temperature wise. Not as much as a Vampire, but being full of creatures that tend to run cold his body temperature is below average.

He can't cook or housekeep. That's what Zero is for.

He will never kick Artemis out. If you want to live with and marry him Artemis is someone you need to get along with.

He can create anything from nothing. You want a puppy but can't afford a puppy? Artemis can create you one. No idea what exta parts it might have but free puppy!

Considering everything he went through with his siblings he will never judge people for what they look like. For what they can do. Only if they're human or a half-breed.

He loves attention. Craves it. So if you treat him kindly he'll treat you kindly in turn. He'll attach himself to you. Love it. Soak it up like a sponge.

If he likes you enough he'll be very protective of you. Murder even your entire family if you hate them. Right in front of you even.

Can adjust his height and age. You want him taller? Shorter? Younger? Older? Anything you want he can be! Within reason.

Will murder an entire village in front of you if they piss him off.

who are Artemis’s siblings and why does he have the name of the geek goddess?

ARTEMIS IS THE SEVENTH PILLAR.

The religion in Abarith that created their entire system, and the world in their eyes, is referred to as the Pillars of Faith. This Pillar created the balance and the eco system in Abarith, gave them the gifts that they have and the supernatural creatures that reign over the world and specifically Abarith. Artemis is the foundation for that religion, the Seventh Pillar and the God of Creation. If you breathe? Exist? Have a body? He created you. And he, at one point and even a bit now, had a of pride in that. In the things that he could and can do. (Yes this means he also CREATED HUMANS) His power is deep, rooted in the very foundation of nature and the universe, and he uses only a sliver of that power normally. Due to his current situation too, his power is fractured and halved; he did that himself.

Artemis is the youngest and the abused younger sibling of the Pillars. Because of the things he can do, and create, he was outcast by his siblings. The things he created, the things he liked, made them uncomfortable. They wanted him to strictly stick to creating the things that made sense. Humans, weak, fragile creatures, and Artemis wanted to explore his abilities more.

Wanted to be more than he seemed.

Nethroas is the God of Beginnings and Fate. He created the universe, the other Gods, the basic foundation for what exists now. He also creates the paths in which people can go down. Their role in life. Their souls, soulmates, troubles, scars that leave stories on their souls. Artemis has the worst relationship with him, hates him more than any of the others. Nethroas does not accept Eric as family.

Cyphehi writes the book of death, the end of anyone’s life. Artemis had a tentative good relationship with her but Cyphehi follows Nethroas orders to much and turned on Artemis, destroying that bond and ruining them.

Krilas created the “life” in the world. Plants, the river, the soul of the Earth more or less. He balances Cyphehi, they’re twins. Krilas is rather dismissive of Artemis.

Phothox, the man who hates Artemis the most. He’s the God of Balance, time, knowledge. He creates the pace in which the world moves and ensures that everyone follows their predestined path. The flow of the world. Phothox hates Artemis the most for not fitting into his “box” in the world.

Limili is property of @solmxri you’ll need to ask them.

Mirilos is the Goddess of Animals. They also creates spirit animals and created the base of shapeshifters that Artemis took ideas from. They has a complicated opinion of Artemis, mostly just finds him creepy. But they also don’t hate what Artemis created from his animals. Werewolves fascinate them. They mostly just avoided Artemis.

As you can see from up above, Artemis’ true name is Vurphoadith. He doesn’t give it out, names have power and he also doesn’t like being reminded of his siblings. Of the place he holds within the Pillars. He took the name Artemis because he liked it, he feels comfortable with it.

Vurphoadith & Vercingetorix

Artemis created Eric before he created other monsters. Eric was the test of what he could make and the extent of what he could make. Because of this Eric contains the beginning of every single magical creature. He carries their vices, their weaknesses, their strengths, their forms. He can become anything. Because he is everything.

Eric was made from a piece of Artemis' soul. Meaning he is part of Artemis. They have a connection that runs very deep, very personal and both of them will do anything for the other.

They also look alike because of this. Both of them are rather pale, tall and lanky. Long legged and thin fingers. They're not skin and bone, they fill their body out well, but don't have very well defined muscles. They both have black hair and blood red eyes, monolid eye shapes. Thin boney wrists.

For a while they didn't speak, centuries, after Eric started dating his wife and Artemis was more unhinged than he is now. After the death of Elisabeth and Eric slaughtering everyone who caused it, Artemis actually picked the pieces of Eric up and fixed the broken bond between them. Now, Eric is the one constantly picking Artemis up especially after he goes off the wall.

Artemis has a home in the Manor and will never be kicked out. Though he is hard to get along with guests are expected to treat him respectfully as Eric will never let Artemis harm a guest. Artemis knows these rules too and the consequences of his actions. (Which is Eric giving him the cold shoulder for a long time).

Likewise, should anyone harm Eric, they will become Artemis' new playtoy.

A name that doesn’t exist on human tongue. Created by Nethroas when Artemis was born. He believes it means “to create” and “to rule”. Practically unpronounceable by human tongue.

"A lie?"

He doesn't particularly care for liars. Having spent most of his life being lied to and manipulated by his siblings, isolated and shut away, he tends to prefer the truth to lies. That doesn't mean he never lies though, in Artemis' opinion--everyone lies. Even Vercingetorix lies to him sometimes. He says he doesn't fear him, and perhaps part of that is true, but something in his son makes him afraid when it comes to Artemis. What that is, exactly, he isn't sure.

But what does he lie about?

Anything. Everything. He manipulates and uses whatever he needs to, takes advantage of whatever he can. He twists and abuses whatever he can to get whatever he needs. And he doesn't feel guilt over it in the least anymore. Let them think what they will, he's fine. He's fine. He's fine. He doesn't need anyone.

"I'm not the God of Monsters." He adopted that title. "I'm the God of Creation."

The Manor

Built by Eric when Abarith was still very young, the manor is now several hundred years old. The manor is quite large, has two floors (layout first floor, layout second floor). The manor was hand built by Eric, infused with his magic and energy, and made from a magical tree. Due to this the house is very much alive with magic. Is aware of those that enter and leave it.

The house responds to Eric's emotions and he can feel everything that goes on inside it. He can also tap into the magic of the Manor and essentially magically lock it down if he feels there is a threat. Inside or out. You don't want to be the enemy locked inside with him. Eric uses this sometimes to keep Artemis trapped inside if he's being a particular threat to someone or especially unhindged that day. He doesn't like trapping his father inside.

The Manor has an attic that is used for storage and a basement that is used for other things. The basement has a magical array carved into the ground that allows Eric's magic to flow more freely through the manor. The array also hides what is hidden and buried beneath it (Eric's heart).

Eric doesn't leave the manor. He can wander a good distance from it, can even head to Abarith but the further he gets from the manor (that magical tie to his magic and his heart) he gets weaker. He spends a lot of time inside his office or the library, since he rarely needs to sleep unless he wants to.

The Manor can't be found by normal means. The magical dust storm that covers the desert was created by Eric to hide the manor from those that would seek it out. The manor can be stumbled upon unintentionally by those wandering the desert. It can also be found by those with a connection to any of the residence inside, or have been to the manor multiple times.

The manor is primarily run by Zero. Artemis tends to keep himself locked in his room. Adriel has a room in the Manor, as he’s staying with them temporarily with nowhere else to go and for protection.

Artemis has two personalities from the split of his soul, depending on the form he appears in depends on what he'll be. Either as himself, or as the compressed child form. For the most part, God Artemis, is a very carefree person, he's caring if a bit lonely, a true mirror of his ability. A person who can create any life but has very few people actually around him. He spends most his time in the manor, in his room when in this form. Rather more a shut in, expecting himself to keep his abilities controlled and therefore not a danger to anyone.

The other half of Artemis, the child, is the half that intentionally attacks people with the intent to harm. What starts out as pranks turn more cruel and sickening as he isn’t satisfied until the other person bleeds. This side of him uses cruel words and manipulates people to get his way. He’s childish and abusive, and if the other person goes against his wishes he becomes even harder on them, demanding they play his games and even entraping them if he has to.

ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ

The Tragic Tale of the Lonliest God of Creation. A study in isolation, betrayal, emotional abuse and heartbreak.

Artemis is one of the seven pillars that uphold the religion in Abarith. He is the youngest of the other sixth, the seventh pillar, and the God of Creation for supernatural and gifted beings. He is also the father to Vercingetorix (Eric) and indirectly the Grandfather to Zero though he will admittedly refuse that the ‘doll’ is family.

In the Upper Realm where the Gods and Goddesses that created the mundane realm exist, Artemis was rather unique around him. His gift wasn't quite the same as the others, and the things he created at first were rather creepy and unsettling for the others around him. As a result, it made him rather shunned from his siblings, a fracture growing around them from the very beginning that only continued to deepen through time.

Due to the extreme isolation he felt, Artemis started to teter with the idea of making other things. More than the shadows, the blobs, the twisted monsters that unsettled others. He figured, if he had this power and he looked fairly normal--whatever he could create would too. Artemis took a piece of his soul, a fraction of his energy and magic, and fed it into one of the monsters that he created. He stitched and sowed, weaved life into his power. The creation grew, beat with a real heart that thumped in time with his own-

and it created Vercingetorix.

Eric wasn't liked anymore than Artemis was. He clung to Artemis fearful of the others, worried about what they might do. Artemis raised Eric with love and devotion, happiness and hope. But he wasn't like them. Eric wasn't a god, he was created like the other things in the world. So it was only a matter of time before his siblings decided he couldn't continue to live amongst them. He had to live with the mundanes.

Having Eric ripped from him and cast aside, even if he was now an adult was the hardest thing he's had to endure yet. The hatred and anger grew inside him like a parasite, a twisting knife that was swallowing him up. With that anger his creations grew more violent, grew more spiteful with him. There was no way out of the Upper Realm, not without breaking the barrier and trying to do that was not only reckless but stupid.

He asked himself; what did he have left though?

Artemis, one fateful day, released everything he's created on their home and sent his monsters after his siblings. The Upper Realm was ravished in chaos, pain and destruction and he turned his energy on the barrier between the two realms. Though it's unsure if he overestimated himself or underestimated the power of the seal--the backlash he suffered magically from the force was quite traumatic.

The spiritual energy attacked his own darker magic, which in turn twisted around to attack him. The combination of energy though broke the barrier, split his own soul in half. As he fell to the mundane world his monsters fell with him, releasing the supernatural on the unsuspecting mortals who lived there.

The first supernatural war broke out and Artemis picked up the pieces of his broken self, twisted and split in two. Half his soul trapped in that place of anger, resentment and hated. Of himself, his creations, and his siblings. The other half the gentle and carring person that just wanted to make something that would love him.

Artemis is in a constant state of attempting to balance himself. When his magic or his emotions run to high, he loses control and that's when the the darker half comes out to torment people.

When he gets like that the only real person he'll listen to is Eric. There's no one he trusts more than his son.
