Proprietress of the Volcano Manor

For being daughter to Lady Tanith, Rya was destined to have a great burden over her shoulders. Though, no one foresaw that day coming, as the Manor awaited the Great Serpent to devour the gods. Thus, the rightful heir of the Volcano Manor, the town, and the Mountain Gelmir, was never truly prepared to continue her mother's work as its independent proprietress.

As the Volcano Manor fell along with Lady Tanith, and the most of the remaining recusants and champions scattered across the Lands Between, the day became sooner than anyone ever imagined. The day young noblewoman returns, to the ruins of her former life.

Her journey was supposed to be the first steps to prepare her to take her mother's place. And now, she found herself sitting on a throne far too large. Pressures and expectations piling over her shoulders. It would be only question of time - when the news would slip outside... each might approach the new mistress, with their own intentions.

Rya is not like her mother, or Lord Rykard. She is kind hearted and gentle, without experience to run and discipline an army or hold complete control of the affairs inside and outside the Manor.

She might be a noble woman with an Ancient Serpent blood running in her veins. Still, she is a lost lamb, mourning, and vulnerable to the external influences. Looking for anyone who could give her even piece of advice during her mother's absence. Desperate under the pressures and expectations within the walls of the Manor - not knowing what to do.

Would one approach her as an ally or an enemy - an advisor with good intentions, or with a game plan? Would her path cross with someone trusting and believing in her - to guide to become a better ruler of the House. Though, that wouldn't be simple either - as the Manor has run its course for way too long.

Or, should she become a perfect pawn for ones own game. Scheming, secrets, games of chess - could once more find room within walls of the Manor. Would Rya be ready for war should one come, or would she easily submit to deals presented by challengers? Perhaps form an union, with a deal, with an engagement. A peace, would be better than a risky war, right? Or, perhaps Rya grows to be more than she looks to outside.

katherine finding out about the entire sireline thing / being dependent on the life of the original of whose bloodline she originated from

people helping katherine get official documents

helping katherine find out what to do in life (help her with college life when she pretends to be elena)

suggesting katherine to embrace her traveler magic (kat probably won't be too thrilled)

perhaps trying to create hybrids with her blood but because her blood is 'defiled' it doesn't work out

trying to make powerful spells with katherine's blood now that she's human (whether it's successful or not) → perhaps to create another cure or something similar to an original vampire (kinda what happened with alaric)

helping katherine finding ways to turn into a vampire

katherine not turning in 1492; perhaps even being sacrificed (but revived because of the magical vial that was created for her) → works with time traveler verses

katherine was found by klaus in 1492 and as punishment is compelled to believe her family is dead. basically, all her trauma is compelled, and losing her family never actually happens. another idea: her finding out that it was all because of compulsion.

katherine stays with stefan/damon in 1864 after she turned them

katherine wins the fight with elena in the s4 finale and gets rid of elena (perhaps pretending to be her?)

katherine gets the cure but instead of turning human, it erases her memories.

katherine as a lawyer or being your lawyer (trying to work on a case, scolding her for working too much, helping a friend by offering her home because the other one separated from their partner/is new to the city)

katherine develops a desire to have a child and wants to go through it with via ivf (friends who talk about it, partner who perhaps doesn't want children, new partner who didn't know she planned / already has gotten ivf, meeting the sperm donator)

katherine as an agent who spies on you / is your assassin.

Amused at the idea of Rya having saved some poor soul from clutch of soldiers - as they recover and wake from unconscioussness. In safety, being tended by a lovely lady. They could have sworn, something attacked the soldiers before everything went black.

And two soldiers, more startled than harmed, return word of a frightening serpent attacking their camp and attempting to devour them. Because they would have abandoned an order, a light excuse is not acceptable.

Well, I am very attached to my boys here. But the character that I've had the longest is @toodamnloyal I've had Theo for close to 9 years now. My first indie rp character was a child OC named Sky, she started off as a Firefly OC and then grew from there. I also really love my Mandalorian OC named Tajur Jaing, I'd love to do more with him as well.

That is honestly easily Baribus Thatch from @leerofthevinegaroons Baribus is so well thought out and wonderful, I thought he was a canon muse for a very long time. He's a personal favorite of mine to write with and most of my muses have threads with Bari

Honestly.... i don't really ship much. I have been exploring shipping with Tycho a little bit over on discord. But usually I am so shy about shipping as it makes me personally uncomfortable that I just don't do it much

This goes back to Baribus, I love Baribus' relationship with Lady Lavinia. It's all unrequited and quite adorable.

Any time I get to have long involved plotted out storylines. I love things that don't happen in a vacuum, being able to have lots of interacting characters and stories etc, I am a sucker for being able to talk about characters who my muses know even when they aren't directly involved in a thread. Things like that.

I really, really want to do things with Tycho and Hobbie during their time with the empire and the immediate aftermath of their defections. They had such drastically different means of finding their way to the Alliance and trying to put their lives back together after lots of tragedy.
