Miroku's face drops into a pout when he accuses her of being a brainless yokai. Sure, she was a little on the ditsy side - but nothing to go comparing her to a Kappa! 

Though to learn it was Hanako who was standing before her, makes her smile grow wide. “Oh, so nice to meet you, Hanako-kun! I'm Miroku Kuchisake-Onna. You know – the slit mouth woman.” she introduces, her fingers tracing along her cheeks to emphasize the stitches holding her jaw together.

“Is this seat taken?” (For whoever you're feeling.)

Miroku's eyes widen from the sudden voice. Turning her attention to the other, she smiles warmly from beneath her mask. "Now it is." She muses sweetly, shifting herself to make more room for him to join her, "I'm Miroku."

Miroku’s face drops slightly at his admittance - catching the subtleness in his comment; he wasn’t a fan of sweet things - before she hides it with a wide smile as she tugs down her mask to take a sip, enjoying the combination of the cold whipped cream and the warm cocoa as it reaches her mouth. Though the enjoyment was short lived as she burns her tongue, swallowing quickly to stick her tongue out to soothe it with the cold air. 

“I’ll have to remember that for next time.” she reassures, holding her cup close to her for warmth, “any particular teas specifically?”

Tomoe wasn't keen on the extra little sweet treats on top of his mug of coco but he wasn't about to turn it down. Taking the mug with both hands he was glad for the warmth it provided to his chilled hands. "Usually I'd have hot tea but this somehow seems fitting." He admitted waiting for the hot contents to cool just a bit to be able to drink.

“How the fuck?” Kaido to Miroku (i'm so sorry)-hands u one of my ocs

Miroku stares at the other, wide-eyed in horror. Her jaw was unstitched and exposing the inside of her mouth through the gaps on each side. “Sorry!!!” She shouts abruptly, attempting to cover her face with her hands. 

“I misplaced my spool of thread.” She explains softly from behind her hands, “the string broke and I can't sew it back.” Though she realizes to someone who didn't know her – none of that made sense, but in her disheveled state, it was the best she could to answer his question.

Miroku shakes her head, placing a firm hand on his chest to hold him in place. “It's already being taken care of.” She counters with a soft sigh. She knew the other gentleman didn't mean to hit Ivan during the video shoot, but since the woman had to do emergency touch ups to Ivan's makeup to hide the growing bruise on his cheek - Miroku could easily guess the other boy was promptly fired and future career ruined by an simple misstep in routine. 

“You've already handled it plenty by not retaliating and making a scene.” She reassures with a smile, working her magic at touching up his cheek, blending it heavily to compensate for the discolored skin.

She shakes her head, grabbing a lollipop for herself. “I'm a new recruit for the agency, name's Miroku!” She explains, popping the candy in her mouth, sucking away happily at the sweet flavor. 

“You're Ranpo-kun, right? I heard about you from Kunikida-san!”

Ranpo wasn't sure if she was gonna still give him a hug or not... But it seemed she was gonna run off and get his ramune! So it was a win.

He kicked back in his chair, his feet on his desk as he awaited for the strange woman to return with his ramune. He figured that's all she was gonna get for him.

To his pleasure, she had snacks too! The man bounced his feet off the desk to properly look at the snacks and ramune. He quickly swiped up an orange ramune and a box of pocky. Popping the bottle open and began to snack on the pocky.

"Ah-- that hits the spot! That certainly makes me feel a lot better! Are you our new errand girl or something?"

Personality~

She's overall very bubbly and rather ignorant to modern ways of life. (this will be fixed up as time goes on....)

Background~

Miroku Kuchisake is the notorious Slit-mouth woman (Kuchisake-onna). She is often seen roaming the streets, her mouth ripped open from ear to ear. She typically wears a mask covering her face, asking people she sees ‘if she’s pretty.’ Supposedly she kills you if you answer no. But if you answer yes, she’ll reveal her face and ask again. If the answer turns to no, or they scream in fear, she kills you. however, giving her a confusing answer or hard candies as a treat will likely save you (besides obviously answering yes). These are all merely rumors, for Miroku is actually very sweet and loving. She’s not quite the most graceful - being rather clumsy and slightly ignorant to the modern world ever changing around her. She simply enjoys scaring people for fun - not actually wishing to harm them. It’s believed Miroku was manifested in the ‘70s (meaning she’s around 45 years old, however appearance looks to be about 22). While urban legends do not age, they can die. And with Miroku’s time running out now that less people are believing in her myth, she allows herself to be put into an arranged marriage with the Sano family’s clan head, Koichi. In some ways, despite being the one to suggest it, she’s against the marriage and hopes to find an out – if she can scare Koichi before his 18th birthday they would agree to call off the engagement, however if she can’t and ends up falling in love with him, then they’d continue through with it (obviously…lol) Miroku has a younger brother, also an urban legend - known as Mikoto, the demon eared shikabane. His legend is a headless boy who roams the train tracks. His physical appearance is roughly that of a high schooler, allowing him to attend classes alongside Koichi to keep tabs on him. Due to the nature of Miroku and Mikoto (they are not blood related, but have a sort of kinship to one another), I am okay with exploring this ship in a realm where Koichi doesn’t exist (or way future when he passes away since legends don’t age).

Miroku shamelessly gawks at the creature, completely fascinated – especially now that she knows it can’t see her. It was taking everything she had to not pet it like a dog.

“I'm Miroku! Do you have a name??” She finally asks with a slight tilt of her head.

"I might not have any eyes to see you, but I can still hear and feel you," the beast said as it came from the shadows. A looming strange creature that seemed to have lava dripping form it's jaw.

"I can both hear and feel your heart beat.. The steps you make on the ground. I might not know what you look like-- but I know where you are."

"Alright, sure. If you say so." She rolls her eyes, "you know I'm the wrong person to be kissing up to, right? You aren't getting any benefits from me."

“ exactly. you know the beauty standards. how better to know those than by being beautiful yourself? ”

Miroku smiles warmly at the other, “I'm really not bad at all.” She reassures, her tone almost coming off offended, “I just like scaring people. it's fun♡” 

It was true. It was why she stopped walking around with her signature scissors. She just wanted to have fun – not hurt anyone! 

“Yeah, why did you spread that about yourself? You're not up to anything indecent are you?!” She accuses sternly.

"Ehhh? You're the infamous slit mouth woman I've been hearing about? Ha! I'm glad you're a lot nicer than I was expecting." Of course, Hanako is a ghost brandishing a knife so maybe he just assumes most are either brainless or violent.

"Of course, I'm sure you're surprised about me too. Hehe, it was fun spreading that rumor about being a girl in a red dress!"
